I’ve been listening to you for a couple of years and have recently fallen in love with the “At Home with the Beveres” podcast as well! As a new(ish) wife and an even newer mom, and of course, lover of Jesus, I have found the content you provide to be empowering, encouraging, and practical. I binge episodes at the gym and leave just wanting more! I only wish you didn’t move from Colorado Springs, as it diminishes my chances of meeting you. Haha! On a side note, Lisa, I listened to an episode where you talk about your gift in praying for women to get pregnant. If you read this, I would greatly appreciate you lifting my friends, EO and AC in prayer as they each have been trying to get pregnant for years. Thank you!! Love you guys!

I first heard John Bevere’s interview on TBN. And ever since then I’ve watched his segments on YouTube, preaching, this podcast and I’ve also read two of his books. I love the conversations you have here with Lisa. I truly enjoy it. Thank you. You’ve been a blessing to my life.

I have followed John and Lisa for many years. I’ve read a majority of their books as well. The wisdom and knowledge they both bring to the body of Christ is superb! They give great advice while sometimes tough to hear is good for God-fearing believers to hear. Soak it all in.

Our world needs Godly fathers and mothers, and John and Lisa flow in this anointing. I enjoyed the relationship podcasts in February and would ask for more practice and Biblical information on how to be friends with someone where both parties are interested in getting to know each other with accountability and wisdom. I sometimes find, being a single Christian, we haven't been shown how to do this well and rewarded the friendship foundation in a relationship that could turn into a marriage. Hello John and Lisa. I’ve been listening to your podcast for a while now as well as the Home with the Bevere’s. Not an episode without laughing and sometimes tears!! Thank you for your honesty and dedication to teach. I’m not young anymore but still young at heart and mind!! (😇). I’ve been sharing your podcast to my Boyfriend who’s out of the country. We always have great discussions (like a post Q/A… 😁😁). This topic doesn’t get old!! So many preachers will not even touch this topics Esp countries who does NOT “accept” divorce. Spouses will just continue being with others. While a lot will stay just because… 🥲 I’ve been living in the US for more than 30 yrs. When I got divorced (19 yrs ago), I was treated like an outcast from a lot of people. I didn’t get much support and I wish I heard about your ministries back then. But it’s not too late to keep learning and improving my life esp my spiritual life as I continue serving God through leading a Bible Study group. Thank you for sharing your life’s stories!! Last year I had been listening to The Bible Recap each morning but once I was finished with that I found that I needed something God inspired for my morning drive to work; it just starts my day better. This podcast filled that need! I love the fire and passion for God that Jon and Lisa have. They communicate so well what God needs them to say. Highly recommend.

I have been listening to sermons and podcasts from all of you for a little more than a year now. I have been reading a chapter a day from The Awe of God since January 1. I want to personally thank you, John, for the wisdom you have shared in this amazing book! I didn’t have a healthy fear of the Lord before because I was bound by pornography, but after reading the revelations you have received from the Holy Spirit about having a healthy fear of the Lord, I can confidently say, “I am walking in freedom!” This podcast has also been such a blessing with the dives you all take into the problems and questions that everyone always has! I pray God’s blessings on your mission to grow the Kingdom of God!

I have been listening to the Beveres since John spoke at my past church in 1997 and I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Both he and Lisa, through their obedience to God, have taught on nearly any and every subject having to do with growing in Christ and who Jesus is. Dear John and Lisa, I just HAD to share my thoughts on the recent podcasts that you spoke on rejection. I’ve dealt with rejection since I was a kid, boys in high school never liked me etc. Thank Jesus I found my true love after being born again when I was 17! I still deal with rejection today especially from certain “family”….but after hearing this podcast, it helped me to refocus on wanting to just please Jesus and not be rejected by Him. Plus I’ve listened and read most of your books and sermons since 1998 and thank You for taking the time to pray for me in person when I was at my lowest. My spirit needed that “jump start”.

I’ve been following John and Lisa for three years, and am thankful for their ministry. My dad gave me John Bevere’s discs called “Drawing Near,” and they really helped me find God. I came across you back in 2007 when I was in a discipleship class at my old church and we did the video series of your Bait Of Satan. That ALWAYS stuck with me and I’ve told many people the story when you were going on a trip that God spoke to you to do a certain topic in the Bible but you refused and you had some serious issues cuz you didn’t listen to God lol cuz when you arrived back home God smacked you and was like YO are you gonna listen to me now. I use that story to let people know just listen and trust God no matter the situation or circumstances God is there to guide you and most importantly Love us. So thank you John for that story that I can share with others. P.S. your book Driven By Eternity is a what is HEAVY METAL HEADS call a BANGER!!! Should I walk the book 10min down the road to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio cuz that’s the type of book that belongs in a Hall Of Fame again thank you

I am so happy to have found this podcast with John and Lisa! I have purposefully been listening in the shower when I have some quiet time without my kids running around. It has encouraged my walk and I often share these conversations with my husband. You both are rock solid and anointed!

I have been listening to John and Lisa for years (your wilderness podcast series, “How God grows us up” caused a monumental breakthrough in my faith! Thank you John and Lisa for all you do in the kingdom!) and I was actually one who asked the question, “what has God shown you is the appropriate role for women in the church?” This was probably a year or two ago. When I saw this series I praised the Lord!! Thank you John and Lisa for tackling this sticky subject, and putting so much study and prayer into your preparation. The Holy Spirit confirmed all your findings as I listened, and I truly felt it was a gift from God to me to listen to these podcasts. What I didn’t realize when I asked this question was, I was asking for myself. Since then I’ve become a teacher and leader in my church, and in smaller fellowship gatherings within the inner church, that do include men. It was important for me to know, as Lisa said, that I was/am being obedient to my Father (and honoring to my brothers) in everything I’m doing. This confirmation from the Holy Spirit has so strengthened my confidence in teaching, and my faith! Additionally, I want to say for any woman who is unequally yoked like me (I was not a believer when I got married, but 6 years ago Jesus saved me, praise the Lord!), the Lord will make a way for you too if you are called to lead and teach (or whatever you’re called to do)! He has done it for me, and it’s been hard, I’ve walked through the fire, and I know I’ll do so again, but God is there with me, and He’ll be there with you too! To that end, John says in Bait of Satan, "Some may not understand you as you move with the spirit. Don't allow their unpleasant response to deter you from what you know in your heart is true. Don't abort the flow of the spirit for the desires of men." This single quote set me free from the chain of needing man’s approval, or understanding, to move forward with God, and I hope it does for you too! Trust God, He is a Way Maker even in the hardest places!!

I was invited to read Bait of Satan with a friend, it took me a week to get it ordered and I delayed our get together by 2 weeks. Once I got the book and got together with my friend I saw Satan in trying to prevent me from getting this book because this book opened up the most amazing resources for me to draw closer to God! I am so thankful for you, John & Lisa, I love to listen to Healing for the Angry Heart, Girls with swords, and all the other resources on the MessengerX app over and over! Thank you for following Gods anointing on your lives! You are changing lives! I thank God daily for you and your resources! I pray my adult children listen to these books as well and can hear it❤️ All the praise and glory to Jesus!

I was reading “God, Where are You? Finding Strength and Purpose in the Wilderness” and then you two popped up on my YouTube. This is the podcast I didn’t know I needed. I appreciate both of your openness about things you’ve done and decisions you’ve made, even the bad. I feel like today too many Christians are trying to be perfect, so it’s good to hear stories and experiences we can all relate too. We need to talk about the “ugly” so we can overcome the toxic cycles. I finally released the bad things that happened in the past. I realized that no matter how much I wish for things to be different in my childhood no amount of thinking about it can change it. We were never meant to look back. There’s a reason God told Lots wife not to look back. When we do, we become stuck and unmovable. Keep up the amazing work you two are doing. Much love. TC

Thank you so much for addressing the issue of women in ministry. I have had sermons burning in my heart for years now. I was in a very complimentarian church until about 2yrs ago and am now serving as a teacher at the school of discipleship in my church. The prayer John prayed for women ignited a new zeal to keep asking the Lord to open doors for me to speak. I have had prophetic words given to me about bringing the gospel on stages around the world. I am no longer going to doubt that call. Bless you both!

I’ve been in church my whole life but it wasn’t until recently I have had a longing, a searching for more. I found this podcast after searching on you tube for sermons. Lisa popped up on my feed speaking about a lioness. It was during this time I was going through a custody battle with my ex husband. I felt the power of God just come over me and say listen. I began to listen to sermon after sermon, 8 hours later I found this podcast and the messenger x app. All of these tools have helped my walk with Christ immensely. It has been trial after trial, with my ex husband and custody of my children from new issues arising in my current marriage. All of which I know is a direct attack of the enemy. I am beyond grateful for this platform, for prayers, understanding and sharing real stories that make everything relatable. I am so incredibly grateful I found these resources. Absolutely life changing!

After listening to this while in the gym, I heard Johns prayer and I felt the fire of God ignite in a new way. I prophesied to this man the Lord led me to in the gym and shared what Jesus did for Him on the cross and he was truly encouraged. I have been battling the wrong kind of fear and have been praying earnestly for the fear of God to fill my life after reading the fear of God and listening to the episode about what the bible says regarding women preaching moved me deeply to SPEAK UP!
