Kristian Harloff is the best interviewer. Not asking about the most recent events but about a person’s whole life and career. He really tries to get to know a person. Everyone needs to listen!

Kristian Harloff has more than proven his abilities as a creator, host and producer of his various endeavors (Collider LIVE, Jedi Council, The Movie Trivia Schmoedown and more), but he is at his best when having these thoughtful conversations with his colleagues and various personalities in the entertainment industry. 1 On 1 showcases this and more. It’s one of my favorite podcasts!

All the podcast are in reverse order so the oldest one is first. Every time there is a new ep posted I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list. I dont understand why this is the only podcast that does that. Keep up the good work. Interviews are great.

Love this show, my favorite episode so far is the Brian Tyler episode since I work on film scoring as well and love these type of talks! Moving from NC to LA in late 2018 to pursue film composition full time. Some great gems and one-on-ones such as bigger actors but also Collider peeps. Check this out for some amazing interviews!! Kristian is a great host!

The fact that their are two interesting shows on this podcast feed makes this much more enjoyable. The more content the better

Since I started watching Collider in its entirety, I’ve always enjoyed Harloff’s casual comedic style of interviewing. It’s less formal and more like two regular people having a conversation. It only feels like an interview in the intro and the conclusion, everything else feels like a normal conversation. Love it!

I love this. It is one of the best shows added to my podcast list. Not just the boring fluff you get from actors on press junket. Really interesting stories and incites on the industry.

Kristian’s interview style has a great flow to it and his guests always seem very comfortable and like they have a lot of fun. Love the guests you have been getting excited to see who’s next! Great podcast!

I’ve watched Kristian Harloff for a few years now on a handful of different shows and 1X1 is by far his best work. He knows exactly how to interview people that we may not know much about and make it very relatable for all audiences. A definite show to listen to on your free time!

I like Kristian on Jedi Council. He is a huge fan, thoughtful, interesting. But Kristian is fantastic in these 1x1 conversations. I have enjoyed spending an hour or so listening to these interviews. You really get to know the actors a little bit, find out about their journey to their acting careers. And you can tell that Kristian is really interested as well and everyone seems to be genuinely enjoying themselves. It is the opposite of the typical 5 minute junket interviews that we typically get. Good job Kristian, keep it up. You might be my favorite 'Nole which is saying something. Go Gators!

These interviews are very interesting and he has HD some great people on already. This is a must listen to on the way to work or a great watch on YouTube in the evenings. Clancy Brown is no where near what I thought he was from the characters he plays. Good insight and great interviewing.

1x1 is really fun. It keeps the listener engaged with interesting dialogue between Kristian and the guest. Speaking of guest, there are some REALLY cool guests! Highly recommend for any movie/TV fan. It’s the best!

If you are tired of the same old style of interviews online these days, then listen to Kristian Harloff chat with celebrities in the film/television/comedy industry and getting to know how they made their mark and became successful. This is a more chilled, laid-back form of interviewing with some personal questions asked, but very inspirational messages to take away from!! Every episode has makes me wish I could listen to Kristian talk to a multitude of personalities (famous or not) for hours and hours on end!! These are fun interviews, delving into the lives of the guests while also gleaming fascinating information about their respective experiences in the television and filmmaking process.

Ever since I stumbled onto Kristian Harloff via Collider Jedi Council there was something about his his online style that sucked you in. It made me search out the Schmoedown and I have been a fan of his work since. That same style is present in his interview ability and feels as if the interviewee is just as comfortable as the viewer. Gets them to open up to what may seem a minuscule detail about that person career or life but it turns into some great stories as if you were just hearing two people chat it up at a bar or another causal place. Highly recommend 1x1 and check out his other ventures as well!

Personal, hilarious and always interesting, each 1x1 episode delivers something different. Harloff’s got such a genuine interviewing persona and you can tell each guest feels comfortable to share their own life stories. He’s also got the same wit and humor like Howard Stern so any Stern fans out there won’t be disappointed! Give it a listen yo!!

Podcast is a blast to listen to. Kristian really dives deep with his guests. Pretty great to listen to their struggles and how they overcame them. Also a great but small look into Hollywood behind the scenes with these actors. I love the way it just feels like a laid back conversation rather than a structured interview.

Kristian Harloff is one of the best interviewers out there. His natural curiosity is a real special tool to have in this business. His variety of guests is fantastic and his ability to make something as simple as a persons relationship status a compelling story is something we don’t see much these days. I look forward to and get excited for every new episode.

I love how chill of an atmosphere this podcast gives off. Just two people talking about whatever comes up. I’ve learned a lot about the actors interviewed so far that I had no idea about, & now I wanna go relisten to this on the YouTube page!!
