Just found this podcast and it’s a treasure. I love that they engage different opinions without wrestling you into agreement. They present the information and let you decide what to do with it. I also like the variety of guests from different fields, which is refreshing. Interesting content and great team.

The pod cast is so uplifting and positive. It serves as a reminder that leadership is optimistic and possibilities. As a leader it is important to have the reminder of the true leaders that are out there.

This podcast is teaching me and feeding my hunger for commentary from grounded, strong, engaging people of integrity and courage to break up the status quo. As someone who also has to fight status quo thinking in my own world, I’m getting lots of inspiration from these powerful discussions. I never let a new podcast sit for more than a few minutes before I’ve plugged in and listened. Thank you, Carly!

More often than not, guests are great. Really appreciate talks with Gen. Powell, Jay Bilas, and Senator Dole. However, I really dislike the format. I don’t mind the people that work for Carly, but when they interrupt the conversation with Carly to speak disrupts the flow and honestly makes it hard for me to keep listening.

How could anyone ever say life's too hard, or I can't do this after listening to this REAL American hero. Great job Carly, keep it up!

Carly Fiorina impressed me as a leader during the presidential campaign. I have listened to the first three podcasts. The content from Ms. Fiorina and her guests on leadership is fantastic and I heard many pearls from each podcast. The third podcast, however, had so many interruputions from the staff during the interview, about what was said during the interview, I lost interest in the interview. That is not a great format for me, but may work well for others. I just want to hear Carly and her guests.

Carly Fiorina destroyed people’s lives and got a golden parachute. People literally ended their lives in desperation thanks to her. She should not be in the iTunes podcast store.

Carly and Justin (Constantine) are so positive and inspirational. "We can choose what to fill our hearts with... We can fill our hearts with the people who lift us up" Carly and Justin are in my heart today. Wonderful examples of leaders who have overcome adversity while maintaining courage, gratitude, and compassion. "Lifting others up by example".

You will be hard pressed to find a better place to be moved so effortlessly. Plug and play

I was already a fan of Carley and this is exactly the podcast I need to fine tune skills for leading in my family, job and community. Each time I listen I come away inspired that even without position, power or title beyond mom, teacher and volunteer, I can lead and solve problems in my “circle of influence” as Steven Covey wrote. I especially loved the tender and relatable Christmas message. Please keep the interviews and episodes coming!

I like the podcast but would like fewer interruptions by the producers. I am hear to listen to Carla and the featured guest not the producers. Let’s hear more from the guests. Thanks.

Enjoy Carly’s interviews but dislike the interruptions by the staff during the interviews. Or put their dialogue at the end so the listener can choose whether or not to listen. I kept having to ff past their talking and then missed parts of interviews. If they keep this format, not sure if I’ll stay a subscriber.

Carly thoughtfully explores the characteristics that make up a successful leader, going far beyond the surface offering depth and insight. I agree with Carly’s point that, “Everybody has more potential than they realize and that leaders are made, not born.” The trajectory to success is paved with hard work, collaboration and imagination, and striving toward an end, solution-oriented goal.

New follower 🙋🏻‍♀️. As a mother, please I hope you include anecdotes from childhood. Would love for my daughters (ages 10 & 7) to listen to those moments in childhood that you can recall as significant—-and have shaped you into the adult you are today. I have two very bright, kind and passionate young daughters. Leaders in the making, I know it would empower kids to hear you relate and discuss how you became who you are today. Carly Fiorina shows a side of herself that some people may be surprised to learn about but those that have followed her career will be very familiar with. She is a humble and empathetic listener and expertly teases out some amazing leadership lessons from her guests. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who is interested in listening to real conversations with some amazing people who have accomplished so much and changed the lives of those people who are lucky to be in their orbit.

"By example is not the best way to teach, its the only way." -Albert Einstein. I believe "teach" can be replaced with "lead" in that quote and mean the same thing. We lack political leadership because we too often vote for our favorite talkers instead doers. We need less Cable News hot takes and more in depth debates and actual votes taking place in our Congress. This podcast helps me identify what doers really sound like.

Especially enjoyed Colin Powell’s interview. 2 comments- the lead in could be shorter and this interview was not easy to find. When I put in “By Example” Carly’s interviews were not among the selections offered. I had to write in Carly and Colin.

It is more than just how to be a leader, but how to recognize people who are working hard, people with whom you should connect, the power of listening, and empowering others to problem-solve. I am really enjoying this podcast and look forward to more episodes!

Carly is a gem and the topic is a much-needed discussion.

As a high school student, I’ve only followed Carly Fiorina since 2015 during her presidential campaign, but since then I’ve always admired her poise and leadership. I am so excited to keep listening to this amazing podcast by an incredible leader who is one of my role models!

This is a welcomed series that the listener really gets an honest, inside look into what leadership actually is. I learned so much about Colin Powell as a person and about the role of a leader. I look forward to Carly sitting down with more leaders to remind folks what the true meaning of leadership really is.

Great insight into leadership and what truly defines a leader. I could not agree more than anyone has the ability to be a leader. We must focus on the soft skills needed to make a difference in the world. One of my favorite parts is that “the people closest to the problem are best at solving them”. Way to go! Love this.

Carly Fiorina has the best philosophy of leadership--the same one she's been spreading for years at university speaking tours, consulting, and her candidacy for president. Leadership is solving problems by unlocking the potential of others!

They hit the nail on the head - leadership is not about titles, it’s about people rolling up their sleeves and solving problems. Something we need more of. The best way to learn is by example - I’m anxious to see who else is on the interview list.
