If you’re going to produce a podcast select a narrator who can read a bit more naturally.

Lives up to the description
Hometown Murders sets a new standard to the true-crime genre that's been blowing up recently. I really love the narrative structure which is enhanced by the tight editing which ensures they're getting straight to the point,

Crazy stuff
We’ve all listened to true crime. But this just hits home a little more with the hometowns mentioned. Makes you think it could happen anywhere…. Crazy stuff!

True crime fanatics must have
I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts. This is an interesting and short show to give you that little taste of you’re on the go. I enjoyed the Atlanta episode. I’m fascinated by the strange minds of criminals. The host has a great voice that I find intriguing and the production values with the music are a nice a touch to set the scene. Great show!

Great Pod!!
Love the pod, learning about true crime i've never heard about before and will certainly do some research myself now my interest has been picqued. Like the format and each episode under an hour is a winner for me. I can listen in one go without having to stop halfway though. Happy to share and have recommended and my friends are listeners now.

The first Gloucester episode is worth 5 stars alone.
I’ve heard the Fred and Rose West story several times before but this is a whole other level of telling it. Thank you making quarantine better

Great concept, good effort
Thanks for the Episodes on Syrian War, gave me a good basis to start trying to get to grips with this horrific and ongoing conflict. Full review at: andyspodcasterpodcastingpodcast.com - Syrian War Episode.

Monotone recital of Wikipedia
I only listened to the first 5 minutes if the Spanish American War episode, but quickly tuned out after realizing it was a monotone reading of the Wikipedia page. I guess this could be useful for someone unable to read, but please, do some research and inject some creativity into your show!

Great review of less known history
Background music is annoying.

Some stylistic things
While the content is interesting, I’d like a more dynamic presentation style- the narrator sounds like he’s reading a script, which isn’t as engaging. Other history podcasts I like are good at inserting a personal touch into the history, which makes it more engaging and fascinating

Great in Most Ways
I have enjoyed the topics greatly. Good first steps. However, there are some flaws that bring down my rating. The podcast itself sounds like it’s being recorded in an big empty room causing an annoying echo. Also Mr. Knight, the echo along with your background music/drums make it difficult at times to hear what you are saying. Additionally, you have to annunciate some of your words more clearly as there are a few times in each podcast where you sound like you’re mumbling. These points are done in all honesty to help and not hurt. I hope this podcast goes on for a long time, and it’s production gets better and better along with it.
