Funny how he says this isn’t a self help talk. The gospel is not about what we do but about what has been done for us. Being obedient to God most of the time does not end in wealthiness, in fact the Christian life even in obedience and letting go is filled with weariness, but there is rest in knowing that his grace has been and will continue to be poured out unto us no matter what we do! Nothing we do can change his love for us.

This message was perfect for me at this 'time' because a lot of chances have been presented to us. It really puts into perspective that not only those chances may not come around again, but to look at every chance as a possibility and steps closer to our calling. Even though sometimes it may not seem like it, God walks along side us with whatever path we take but the next step you take could be closer to that person that needs you. If we can change our perspective and look at chances as one that is being offered by God ,to just praise Him when it comes and get excited to watch what God does with it. As a 18 year old, I can honestly say that Ps Brian and defiantly a man to look up to. Hillsongs sermons stay true to The Bible and each sermon helps in different areas in life. It's really great there real, they know life is hard yet they love God and believe in His Power through His Name and cause of that, it's why they've been blessed.

I'm very picky about pastors, evangelists, music and so on. Gotta say this man does right by God to just do what he's called to do. No ego, no finger pointing, no fluff he just lays it out. Yes, I like it a lot!

Brian Houston is an outstanding teacher who exhorts others to live life with passion and give others. I have heard him live in London and Los Angeles as well as online and he always gives a great message.

This guy is very interesting to hear; love to listen to him because he is so full of life and so aweinspiring it's a joy to listen... That and I like his Australian accent :) but he has a unique way of preaching his messages::: thank the lord for these messages!

This is absolutey a must! He gives you a lot to think about. The only only reason I give him 4 is that I wish he gave us longer than 15-20 minutes at a time. I would love to have thw whole sermon at once. But, none the less... It's still a wonderful thing to have on the iPod while working.

I've been listening to Pastor Brian for about 9 months now and I look forward to getting his latest podcast. I often listen to his podcasts at the gym (makes time go by faster :] ). Although Pastor Brian's sermons aren't "theologically heavy", they make very good devotionals, just something to think about all day. I recommend his podcasts.
