Again, please.
I have listened to all of these but when I try to listen again, they are “ Temporarily unavailable.” Which means, apparently, permanently unavailable. Subscribed to this when it was current, and I’m wondering why I can’t get them again.

Nooooo!
Please fix it, I just finished The Rooster Bar and would love to listen to the last few book stops and it won’t let me!

I encourage anyone to listen to this podcast. John Grisham is amazing as always. He is my absolute favorite author. I met him one time many years ago and he is a very captivating speaker.

Great Conversations
Thank you for having these events and allowing us to listen. I have read many of your books and enjoy hearing you provide insight into the backgrounds of them. It’s also very interesting to hear how you relate to other writers and your industry. Again, thank you for giving us this opportunity.

Fine but repeative
This podcast is very interesting with some great stories but because John Grisham has a new audience in each episode, his anecdotes are repeated often.

Finally!!
Finally there's a podcast for fledgling writer's to hear how the "Big Guys" break in! Each episode is packed with tips and inspiration from PUBLISHED authors who are making a living as a writer. What you'll find out is that they're no different than you (cliche, I know -but it's true!). I love listening to this podcast because it puts me in the frame mind of a real writer who is making a living doing what he (or she) loves! Thank you John Grisham and the GENIUS who put this together!

This podcast has changed how I read
Most podcasts to me are like talk shows - wade through the chatter to mine a little substance. Not so with “Book Tour with John Grisham”. This podcast has changed my thinking. Truly. For example, my perspective of authors: they’re by and large ordinary people but with the ability to follow through on an idea. This podcast has given me an understanding of the rich importance of bookstores, especially the mom and pop variety. And it’s made me much less of a snob when it comes to taking a chance on a new author. Thank you for this podcast. I hope there are many more episodes to come.

Candice Millard
Candace Millard was an amazing guest. Immediately purchased a copy started “River of Doubt.” Thank you for turning me on to her. Before you choose guests you should talk to them personally first. Emma Straub was so obnoxious and poorly spoken, um, yeah, so, I couldn’t finish the episode. I couldn’t finish it. I mean I couldn’t finish it! 😂

Book & podcast
I started listening to the podcast then started the book, Camino Island. The book and the podcast surprisingly compliment each other!
Uses?
More like this!
This podcast has been a pleasure to listen to. The guest authors were all interesting, the conversations were fun, and each interview gave a nice behind the scenes look at the writing process. I hope John Grisham does more of these in the future or it becomes a more permanent thing.

Amazing Podcast for Aspiring Writers
This podcast is a must for aspiring writers, John Grisham fans, and anyone else who appreciates the behind-the-scenes ways authors write and create their books. Grisham does an excellent job interviewing the different authors who accompany him on the tour and the conversations are always interesting.

Must-Listen for Any Book Lover
It's so great to follow the tour and slowly get to know the man behind the books. Favorite episode so far is the eleventh stop, at Park Road Books. Looking forward to more!

"That's what we do, we steal stories"
I have been writing an amazing (truth is way stranger than fiction) for months, but only after listening to "Book Tour w/ JG" did I realize how to make it something other than a catharsis: I need to tell the other guy's story, that I was (unfortunately) first hand witness to ..and don't talk about it until on the shelves.

Love Bookstores ,Booksellers, Books? You Will Love This!!!
I cannot say enough about this podcast. Not only do you hear from author John Grisham, but also from guest authors who he interviews in local bookstores across the country. In addition to that, the listener gets to hear about the Independant Bookstore in queustions history, and more. Love this podcast so much. If you love books, give this a listen. It is so much fun.

Long Live the Bookstore!
I'm really enjoying this podcast. I appreciate that Mr. Grisham is taking his time to highlight independent bookstores and the discussions between authors is an added bonus. I have been fascinated by the insider stories and can't wait to listen to the next episodes.

Book Tour with John Grisham
I'm so excited to have found this new podcast. John Grisham is an excellent interviewer/conversationalist who brought out the best in author Jodi Picoult. He managed to focus the interview on her opinions and achievements and she in turn drew him out - great balance that allowed us to learn a lot about them and their work. Grisham is funny and personable - confident without being overly impressed with himself. I'm looking for to his next stop on the tour and plan to listen to every single one!

Got "Time to Kill?"
Found this podcast while on a road trip with my husband. We both are avid readers and enjoy books, authors and visiting independent book stores as we travel. Don't miss John's conversation with Jody Picot. We loved every minute and look forward to the next installment!

Two great writers, one great conversation
This podcast kept my interest throughout. I usually just listen to podcasts as background noise while going through my daily tasks, but with this one I sat and actually listened. I'm looking forward to more episodes and hope they are just as entertaining

Bucket List Item -- Thank You!
Thank you for this series! It helps me to check off an item on my bucket list -- to visit and support as many indie bookstores as I can. My ideal tour would be a group of readers (including me) traveling by luxury tour bus, visiting stores featured in "My Bookstore: Writers Celebrate Their Favorite Places to Browse, Read and Shop". Those stores would, I hope, be so delighted to see us that they would arrange for the recommending author to be there. (I would be delighted to see John Grisham at That Bookstore in Blytheville.) This is a dream, of course, but the next best thing is this series. I so enjoyed the repartee among the authors, store-owner and readers and of course, adding (always adding) new titles to my "must read" list. Thank you! Julia Harmon, Bookwoman

Exactly What I Hoped For
If you're a fan of John Grisham or author interviews in general, this is great. Grisham opens episode one with a short conversation with independent bookstore owner Chris Morrow and then speaks briefly with Grisham's agent/former editor David Gernert (this conversation includes some fun background on how Gernert purchased the hardback rights to 'The Firm'), before moving on to a humorous, insightful discussion with Jodi Picoult. This is exactly what I look for in author interviews/discussions, and I can't wait for the next twelve episodes.

Only thing better than John Grisham's writing voice is his ACTUAL voice
I'm a huge John Grisham fan and he is by far my favorite author. Since I'm not near any of the book tour locations I'm "forced" to listen here. I'm so excited to hear more of his interactions with other authors and look forward to hearing more of his southern accent! 🙂

Terrific, Grisham is funny and sharp
This is a brilliant interview series - at least I hope it is, since we only have the first episode to work with, Grisham is an excellent interviewer, witty and on point, he not only listens, he hears; he is involved. This isn't so much an interview as a chat. There are a million gurus selling 'How do you?' advice. Grisham and his guests offer enough 'How did I?' experiences and anecdotes that will entice aspiring writers into a second listen.

Book Tour with John Grisham
I just listened to the Podcast with John Grisham and Jodi Picoult. First of all i wanna say thanks for doing these and for doing your book tour. Wish i could get to Square Books to meet you. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to these two talk about their ins and outs of wrinting, their research , and other tales. Being a Mississippi boy ( and of course an Ole Miss man) John G. has had a special place in my readings. Ive enjoyed every single book he's written. Although i didnt read in order and Im having to go back and read a few i missed along the way (such as The Racketeer in which I LOVED ). Now as I listen to Jodi, I beleive Ive found a new author Id like to follow. (Im sorry i haven’t began any of hers YET. But I am on my way to my local bookstore to purchase Small Great Things & Camino Island. Thanks again for a great Podcast. Ill be listening to others. Lee Rains Biloxi/Oxford

Love Grisham!!
So excited! Camino Island is such a good book, as I've come to expect after reading his books for years. You're right Jasper, I heard that interview and loved it! Can't wait for more.
