I really enjoy Behind The Smoke. I like Shawn’s position as the OG alongside two younger and sensible co-hosts. There’s a mutual respect and dialogue between the three hosts, and a whole lot of funny in between their commentary. This isn’t the typical “Boys Club” Podcast, with immature stances and uninformed views for the sake of putting out content. It’s substance AND style.

I’ve been around long enough to know Wisdom and Knowledge, and this podcast gives both.. Keep up the great work, Champ..

This has always been my guy. Real talk from a real Guy!! Love the topics and the stories. Flashbacks when he tell the stories of times gone by. I can testify that they are real. Been around when a lot of it was going down. He can tell a story and keep you intrigued, but bring you back to today and let it be known that it’s not like that anymore and he will tell these youngsters what they need to hear in regards to not getting caught up. It’s hard to find anything based on true events that actually keeps the “true” part of the story. While Shawn provides his side of topics, past and present, his take is honest and absolutely warranted. He says what most will not say and what most cannot say. I’ve been a fan of his music since I was a kid (was born in 85, hip-hop fan since 4 yrs old) and its awesome to see his re-emergence in this way. Please keep providing all of the jewels and sharing the rawest content around. 💨💨💨 #behindthesmoke
