I like this podcast because I always feel like I am listening in on a conversation of my coworkers. We are having beers after work and talk about to latest problems we are seeing. That makes it fun.

Update 2020: The format has improved. This could be a 5 star if it came out the week it was recorded. I really hope their security response isn’t this far behind. Let me start by saying this is an information security podcast that is fun to listen to. After being a loyal listener since the beginning the format has gotten old for me. The first 15 to 20 mins of the round table gets long and while it sounds like the hosts are enjoying each other and catching up I just want it to be over, but can’t because something good might come up. Second, Mitch you need to get these out quicker or find someone that can edit for you. The info is too old by the time it gets out and I have to adjust my mind back to when you guys recorded (if I can figure that out) the episode to understand the context of the events/tweets/news that week, and that really ruins the podcast for me. Nigel, love ya man but all the Liverpool updates are tough when the podcast is 2 weeks old. Which brings me to another point. It’s takes about half the episode to get to content that is meant for listeners and not the Talos team. At this point I am still listening but if other podcasts are going to fill up my time I probably won’t be listening as much because of the concerns above.

Addicted to beer with Talos!!! Super entertaining security talk of latest threats and all other. The crew is very knowledgeable, love how they approach the topics, educate on how to mitigate and what you can do for your overall protection. Love it guys keep it up!

The first 12 minutes are complete garbage. The hosts are simply making small talk. Please keep the content relevant and concise!

Lots of banter, not much security.

You all should know Cisco, but more importantly, you should know how good their security special unit is. This podcast takes a nice step away from the overly technical, and makes it feel as if you are really sitting down with this team and having a beer casually talking about major security news. They all have good views on the topics, speak like normal people, and can keep it entertaining as well. I really did not want to add another security podcast but I am so glad I was introduced to this one because they make my day. Keep up the good work.

The Talos folks are both super educational and entertaining, not just about their research but about the state of the industry They seem like the kind of folks that would jazz up any standard Webex conference call

This show makes my droll 90 mile drive to the office so much better. They’re freakin hysterical and also offer a wealth of security knowledge. I gotta admit, at times I’ve laughed so hard I’be almost driven off the road. Onlookers must think I’m a maniacal driver!

Behold the wonderful hilarious Asshatery that is Cisco’s Talos Group. Don’t tell your boss about them. Really funny, and extremely On-Point discussions about Security, Mixed with a few references to alcohol. At no time should you listen at work. Not even with Headphones. Certainly not around children. ESPECIALLY children with Tacos. (But seriously - this Podcast is awesome).

I appreciate the honest, open and insightful dialogue around threat intelligence. It's a must listen every week IMHO.

Rock solid information from the best in the industry.

Spare yourself the additional research that comes with listening to news reporters pretending to understand cyber security, just listen to these guys instead. They're level headed(ish) and know what their talking about cause they deal with security for a living. It's like listening to conversations amongst really intellegent people, whom also happen to spend a lot of time in bars. It just works.

What a group! Beers with Talos is both educational and entertaining. These guys keep your network safe..A podcast "must" for anyone interested in Cyber Security.

As a host of this podcast I can assure you it is fantastic. Despite having to put up with Nigel and his ridiclous love for small horses you may still learn a thing or two about security. Matt will do his best to draw attention to his ankle, he can detach it and launch it across the room like a missle. Joel was a literal mayor so no telling what he's actually capable of. Mitch is here too!

As a host to this podcast, I'm leaving my own review, which is five stars. Which is kind of like #FollowFriday'ing yourself, or ReTweeting yourself, (both of which I've done), but I digress. A bit about the hosts: Craig's undying love of Birkenstocks and cargo shorts is legendary, Mitch has so much gel in his hair that it has been declared a fire hazard. Nigel literally can't even, and Matt, well, let's face it, Matt is the winner here. And me. Matt and me.

SPOILER: I think it is amazing. Except for Mitch, who is clearly the weak link. But even with that sun-guzzling nightmare at the helm, I still give our show five stars. As one email to the show put it: "We are the source supplier and manufacturer of China's Top 100 fiber optic companies, specializing in fiber optic products with good quality and the most competitive price for years." I mean, you can't argue with that, right?

You'll be shocked to see that I gave this podcast 5-stars, I know. To be honest, I almost gave it 4-stars based solely on how long it takes to edit out all of Joel's nonsense babbling. However, I really think the other hosts make up for his yammering on about things. It's a amaizng to get to work with people who are so knowledgeable and helpful. Just this morning I told Nigel I was going to make fun of him in my review and instead of getting angry, he sent me some drone pictures of my dog playing in my backyard! How nice is that! I didn't even know he knew where my house was!

The boys at Talos knock it out of the park with an entertaining and informative podcast. I love finding one not riddled with advertising and product placement - that just focuses on the information I want to hear.
