I have been listening to Sally for several years, and I am ashamed that I am just now writing this review. Please, if you are a mama or even a mama-figure or mentor of any kind, get to know Sally Clarkson through her books, her podcast and her membership (lifewithsally.com). Sally has influenced my life in so many profound ways, and every single time I listen to her, I always come away more encouraged, more uplifted, more excited to breathe LIFE into the people around me, and especially my husband and children. She speaks as if you’re sitting right there with her, both sitting in cozy chairs, drinking tea and looking out into some beautiful meadow or other nature scene, enjoying life together and discussing the things that matter most and sharing about the good, true, fun and beautiful things in life. I always rave about Sally to my husband, and he encouraged me to write to her this month. I do plan to write to her just to thank her, but I thought I would also write a review for her podcast since I listen to her so frequently. I also would encourage you to join her membership life with Sally as there are so many archives on there that aren’t available on her podcast. Love love sweet Sally! Thank you so much! -Marjorie

I just happened upon this podcast and am so blessed by it. The grace shared, Christ-centered focus and simply hearing from someone who has endured in their walk with Christ is just encouraging. Demographically I am very different from Mrs. Sally, but we surprisingly share many interests! I love that about the family of God. If you passed me on the street you wouldn’t pick me out as a listener 😂, but I have been so encouraged by this podcast and each time I listen I feel I’m being guided by an older sister in the faith- which I need. As a mother of twins and one on the way, I’ve been through just about every emotion possible the past three years. I’ve struggled with horrible PPD and found Sally’s podcast through another podcast. This podcast, especially Tea Time Tuesday, has been absolutely life-giving and has changed my entire perspective on motherhood and what it can and should be. Sally, you will be blessed eternally for the way you’ve contributed to bringing exhausted moms to Jesus and reminding us of who we really are in Christ. I started using Podcasts as a sort of “morning devotional” when I get ready a few years ago and little by little narrowed it down to just a few. Sally’s has become a kiss from heaven when new episodes pop up a few times a week. Always relevant to what’s going on in my life and encouraging - and they just make me smile. I listed to an episode from a few days ago on bitterness and forgiveness and MAN! It was spot on sometime going on in my life right now that just felt wrong. It totally spoke into my life; giving me confirmation and peace. God is surely using Sally to speak into the lives of others and for her willing voice I am forever grateful.

My goodness I don’t even know where to start except to say that Sally Clarkson has become a defining voice in my motherhood and my life. Her guidance and wisdom are steeped in love and a determination to seek out the beauty and joy in any situation. Every time I listen, I feel like I am sitting next to a friend who genuinely cares about the burdens of my heart. So thankful for Sally and her ministry!

I recognize some wonderful tips for current leaders and some words that will no doubt call future leaders. What a noble ministry this is!

I found Sally through a membership on Read Aloud Revival, and since I cannot stop listening to her. I put her on AirPods before falling asleep. I play her loudly while I wash the dishes. I read her books and feel inspired. Sally’s heart for the Lord, her openness, and honesty makes me feel like no matter what, all will be okay. Homeschool, marriage, trusting God through ups downs and uncertainty, she nudges you to keep going, and to be kind to yourself. She is refreshing and wise. I couldn’t recommend anyone who can comfort and encourage more than her. Thank you Sally, for your devotion and love toward people and God.

Every once in a while, I’ll meet a woman, just a bit older than I, who is a wealth of knowledge and has great wisdom. These women tend to be rare and I am just drawn to them, wanting to just be in their presence to learn, absorb, and watch. Sally Clarkson is one of these women. These podcasts have been a joy to listen to, as I absorb her wisdom shared so abundantly. I have been taking my morning coffee in my library with Sally on her podcast and starting my day with a gentle push towards Godliness, love, hospitality and grace towards my family and others.

I was led to the podcast after reading your devotion on Proverbs 31. Gentleness was not something I grew up with, nor learned about while sending my three children to a local parochial school and attending their church during the 80’s. I wanted my children to have a Christian education, and that was all I knew to do it. I have recently rededicated my life to Jesus Christ and am so thankful to have been lead to so many positive people like you who seem to know exactly what I need to hear on any given day. I have been praying for some way to help my daughter through some challenging times with her daughters, as well as learning how to be a follower of Christ, and this podcast is perfect for us both today! I first heard of Sally Clarkson from my Cousin who highly recommended I read "Different". A blessing straight from God; grace-filled, truth-based and creative parenting for those children of ours, who are just a slight bit (or a lot bit) harder to train and discipline than your average kiddo! After finishing that encouraging read, I began looking for more from Sally and came across this podcast! I soak in her peaceful and calm dialogue while doing my chores or sipping a cup of tea while my littles nap. I have always walked away inspired to live in light of God's Kingdom!

As a mom of three young children, I don’t have much time to spend on myself. The little time I do have I spend in the morning reading the Bible, which is intended to set my day on the right path. As I go on to do my chores throughout the day, Sally Clarkson is a warm and welcome companion. I listen to her podcasts as I wash dishes, fold laundry, sweep the floors. Her positive messages help me to continue setting my heart in the right place for the rest of the day. She is relatable, she is graceful, she is merciful, she is real. I love that she does not edit her Podcasts to remove the occasional fumbles, everything is covered with grease and I appreciate that so much!
