I DEVOUR this podcast every week. First off, Iliza is hilarious, smart and can hustle. If you haven’t seen her stand up stop reading and go watch. Emily brings balance and a bit of weirdness to the pod. I love them both and talk to my car radio like we are all friends. Not weird at all.

A lot of people in this comments section are open about hating Jews and they substantiate their ignorance by calling me names or giving this a 1 star because they think me standing against widespread violence against Jews the world over makes me a bad person. They think bc i don’t believe Jews should be murdered in every country that means i “support genocide” yet not one thing i have ever or WILL ever say supports their weird gaslighting, antisemitic claims. I don’t want followers who think that a Jewish woman in France deserves to be stabbed because of a conflict in Plstine. I don’t want listeners who think bc i don’t love the idea of Jew hatred that I am pro any kind of war. You people are insane and so unabashed in your blatant, not only gross misunderstanding of what is happening, but in your antisemitism - your unwillingness to hear anyone’s side other than yours about a conflict you just found out about is horrifying. Bc I don’t see this same vitriol being spewed about other waring cultures/countries. Just direct hatred of Jews when it comes to this. We see your hate and you should be embarrassed and ashamed.

Seriously! My work weeks would be so sad without you! Love the banter between you both. Love ilizas humor. You could probably talk about anything and id still listen for the banter and the jokes. Consistently laughing out loud in the workplace with NO SHAME.

This used to be my favorite podcast and Iliza used to be my favorite comedian. After the events that occurred in October, she started using her platform to say ignorant and miseducated things about Arabs. Being Arab, it was a downer to hear these things during a time that I was using as a humors respite. Really really disappointed.

Light, funny, entertaining even with complex topics. Wednesdays never come soon enough!

So much privilege and lack of accountability. No empathy for the immense suffering of the Palestinian people. And apparently she hates cats or wouldn’t recommend having them declawed. A practice that is outlawed in many places because of its cruelty. Avoid this trash.

I used to love listening to this podcast but Iliza’s doubling and tripling down of her support for the Zionist occupation has made this hard to listen to. Oh well, plenty of other folks more deserving of support.

I’ve loved this podcast since it first came out bc I’m a fan of Iliza and have loved it the whole time!! but I’ve also listened to other podcasts from other comedians/celebrities I like and they aren’t that good and I stopped listening, but I look forward to this every week. If you love listening to other peoples crazy drama or even just need some solid thoughtful advice from an insanely smart and hilarious comedian this is for you!! Also Emily does a great job producing and I love their dynamic. I hate Apple Podcasts and listen on Spotify but wanted to come here and let the people know they need to listen!!

While the primary goal is fun, AIA is not just all cutting up and jokes. Emily is the perfect buffer for outspoken, opinionated Iliza, the end result being an entertaining show that actually does dispense some sound advice, and addresses relevant social issues without getting too political. Early episodes had special guests (entertainers, doctors, scientists) that were always informative and thought provoking, but unfortunately its been a long time since there were guests (with the exception of Iliza’s parents, who are great). Fans of felines will quickly become fans of Emily.

I feel really sad because I used to love Iliza and her comedy, but as she’s become more successful she also seems to be getting more negative, out of touch, and can come across as really entitled. I try not to judge her support of IS because she is Jewish and I do not have that background, but it’s getting increasingly hard to ignore her lack of empathy for both sides. It makes me so sad that the podcast has become so rant-y and negative, because I’ve been a fan for years and years. I’m putting it on pause for now, and will miss them both. I hope Emily can influence Iliza a little.

Sorry not sorry. The N word in her comedy/zero accountability? Zero empathy for people of Gaza (ie brainwashed by her Zionist upbringing in freaking Texas)? No thanks! Emily seems like she knows when Iliza is in the wrong but she works for her so what can ya do. Done listening to this podcast because I can’t with Iliza’s self righteous diatribes. Bye, Emily. Iliza is such a level headed advice columnist, with just the right amount of silly humor to offset some of the heavier questions. She respects her fans and gives it to them straight. It’s the top of the cob!

The podcast has officially just become a space for iliza to speak down to anyone and everyone including her most recent rant about how awful it was of an airline tarmac employee to tell her to put her dog away without saying *please. This apparently was an awful enough offense against her as a “first class customer” that she tells us “that’s why he’s outside, like a dog”. Girl, go touch grass, please come down to earth. She’s giving Tom seguras rant on being better than the poors vibe.

Genuinely used to look forward to Wednesday’s then slowly as time past began to really see Iliza for who she truly is. How do you support blm, and lgbtqia+ community but fall short of supporting basic human rights. There is a ethnic cleansing happening right before our eyes, religion aside how could you sit back and think that way? No issue for me, I’ll gladly stop listening because I can go somewhere else and find true comedy. Later cringey millennial.

I have been listening to this podcast for YEARS. I love Iliza and her perspective. Her opinion, her vernacular, her interjections….I not only find them hilarious but also I find myself thinking “she stole the words right out of my mouth”. We have a slight age difference, but I’m convinced we are cut from the same black cloth. For example: Mustard is the only condiment worth using. Eating while recording the podcast is not annoying. Making animal impersonations in your stand up are comedic gold…and wildly accurate. Yes, it’s normal to make out with your dog. Keep kicking it Iliza!

Iliza supports a certain yt supremacist ethnostate. The audacity of a her being a rich white lady in a Southern Californian mansion saying she feels threatened by pro-pal es t1ne rallies - While an actual gen0 cide is happening to pal3s tinians 🙄 demonstrates a paper thin understanding of history. Also, why does she talk to her listeners like they’re idiots? I’m over her and her useless yt liberal politics.

The podcast hasn’t been funny in a long time. She loves to say that single parents should settle when dating, and if you’re dating one, you hold the cards bc they’re damaged goods. She’s mean and comes off bitter about how hard she works yet still isn’t successful as she’d like to be. And her latest Zionist rants without any acknowledgement of ISR war crimes or the apartheid or sympathy for the 10k killed were the final nails in the coffin. It’s a lot of anger and negativity for a comedy podcast.

I’ve moved this podcast for a few years. I would cringe a little when politics and Covid came up, though. It didn’t stop me from listening as Iliza is obviously intelligent and hilarious. I just don’t agree with a lot of her views. Having said that, I’m so proud of her for voicing her views and confusion with the anti-semitism in the US right now. I know several liberal white women who have started going to Free Palestine rallies. It makes me so sad because I am sure they are ignorant of the origin of these chants and movements. I hope they are listening to you, Iliza!

Iliza is my very favorite comedian and her podcast doesn’t disappoint! She’s just as hilarious off the cuff and gives very good advice. I am a little surprised at how much her advice matches that of my husband, but I much prefer to hear it from her. Her assistant Emily as a cohost gives a good balance. I’m feverishly listening to the back catalog and heartily recommend! Kick it!

I love Iliza and Emily -they are so different and have great chemistry. They do a good mix of serious and silly questions. I can literally listen to this all day and not get sick of it. It’s fun and funny even when answering difficult questions. Kick it!!

Used to listen to the podcast, but Iliza’s negative energy left me feeling so icky I had to stop listening. Her words have become increasingly hateful and decreasingly funny. She comes off as a self-righteous bigot, a narcissist masquerading as a SJW, and there is nothing funny about being a phony.

On one recent episode, Iliza recommended that Emily declaw her cat. Do not do this. It is cruel and inhumane. Unsubscribing after listening for years.

I listen to a lot of different types of podcasts, but AIA is my favorite by far! I look forward to listening all week & am always sad when it’s over. Following Iliza & Emily on Instagram is a treat that gets me through Thursday-Tuesday until new episodes release. I couldn’t love their personalities more. The advice is always thorough and straightforward, with humor sprinkled throughout. I’ve turned friends onto the pod & make my husband listen on road-trips lol

Really funny and light-hearted. I love listening to this podcast when the other more serious podcasts get too heavy. I prefer episodes with just Iliza and Emily.

An amazing podcast with celeb comedian/party goblin/ real life human Iliza and co-host/baby arm/ movie lover Em Hig. Wonderful advice for real world problems, and actually advice you would use for that friend who is kind of a piece of poop or a co-worker who is (not) flirting with you. If you are a nurse, truck driver, or someone getting graduate degree then this is the pod for you!

I love this podcast. Iliza and Emily are smart and super insightful, while also being hilarious. I often find myself laughing at my desk while I’m working with my headphones in or while I’m driving. Highly recommend!

I’m super upset that I’ve been watching Iliza’s standup shows for YEARS and just discovered her podcast! I was never much of a podcast listener in general because I’ve never found pleasure in listening to people talk forever, but I could listen to Iliza and Emily all day! I’m 7 months pregnant in New Orleans in the middle of summer and this show is one of the few things that bring me absolute joy while being super uncomfortable constantly😂

I totally wait and listen to this podcast when it comes out and in the meantime, I’m always listening to historical episodes because Iliza always has some thing hilarious and funny and just relates to the modern woman. Her and Emily get along so well it’s so sweet. I wish I had an Emily because obviously if I was role-playing, I would be the Iliza. The only thing that slightly bothers me is that Iliza is always complaining to Emily please summarize these questions if someone writes in a three page question don’t read the whole question people don’t want to know every single word of the question. She’s right! Sometimes it’s funny, but the person keeps going on and on. But then it’s funny to hear Iliza scold Emily about it, but she never listens because she keeps doing it. anyways, I seriously feel like you guys are helping people and your take on things is always just so realistic and some things somebody can actually do unlike other advice, columns, or podcast where people give unrealistic advice. Keep up the great work, ladies! Do, or do not summarize the questions. Either way you will still be awesome!

I love this podcast, I’ve listened to all, and this particular one that included Ilizas Mother was impressive because what her Mother had to say about the alianation from contact with other people by porn, internet and yes, even podcasts and what may occur because of that alienation was timely and important.

I’ve been listening to this pod since its inception and have never missed an episode. I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with one of Iliza’s takes and I love her and Emily’s dynamic. Truly brightens my Wednesdays!
