Just finished every All Ears English episode!!!
Hi Lindsay, Michelle, Jessica, Aubrey! So excited to share with you that I just finished all episodes of AEE today! I initially found your amazing podcast at the start of the pandemic and listened to dozens of your episodes daily while I was doing experiments alone in the lab in the midnights (our lab set a schedule to avoid social contact). Sadly I broke my phone at the end of 2020 and lost all podcast records. I picked up AEE again at the beginning of 2022 and have stuck to 3 episodes a day since then. I re-listened to all the episodes I had listened to and gradually went back in time. Your voices accompanied me in my alone time for so long that I feel you 4 are like my close friends. It’s such a weird thing since we never met. I took your connected communicator course last year and learned so much about the US, where I’m planning to immigrate. Thank you for bringing so many wonderful things to the English learning community. I also want to share with you that I scored 30 on TOEFL Listening last month with zero preparation and I think I owe all that to you four, my amazing remote teachers/friends! I’m now listening to Business English (and the upcoming new AEE of course). Hope I can listen to you forever. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ (PS. Did you remake the first 200 or so episodes? As I went back in time, I was a little excited to hear how Lindsay sounded more than 10 years ago, only to find the very old ones had been remade. But it was a pleasant surprise to hear Aubrey’s voice after so long!)

Who is McGee?
Hey Lindsay and Michelle, Hi, it's Shiva from Iran, a 30-year-old fan of yours! I listen to your podcasts every day, and it's like therapy for me. Not only am I learning American English in a fun way, but I also forget about all my problems when I sink into your voices. I've got a question for you guys. I was watching "How I Met Your Mother," and I noticed they use the word McGee a lot, like reading McGee, truths McGee... Who is McGee? How can I use this name in my conversations, and is it really natural? I've only heard it in this specific sitcom, not anywhere else. I need it to sound authentic for Americans.. Thanks a bunch. Keep shining ✨

A nice English learning place
I like your podcasts a lot. But your app charges too much for non-dollar currency country. Would you consider to lower your price? Like $1.99 monthly? I believe you'll get more subscribers.

“Like”
I really tried to like this podcast and although the content is useful, I’m afraid this episode (9/6) would be my only listen. The fast-talking voice of one of the hosts gave me anxiety and the overuse of the word “like” was a total turn off for me. I do appreciate your work! Thank you!

Question!!!
Hello!! I'm Shiori(she/her), originally from Japan, but I currently live in NY. I've been listening to your podcast before I moved to NY, and it's super helpful to improve my English skills! I recommend this podcast to all my Japanese friends around me, and everyone loves it! I have a question about using the idiom “in a way.” I've heard of it many times within your conversation, for example, from the episode 2052, “This is kind of like very in fashion IN A WAY because of this moment we’re living in the world.” I looked up several dictionaries, but I just can't seem to get the nuances of the words. Could you please explain how and when you put this idiom in your sentences naturally? Thank you in advance!! Love you!!

Not the best podcast
First, there is too much advertisement. They will push on you their ads non-stop. Second, the authors are too woke. Almost every podcast comes with comments regarding COVID vaccines, DEI and such. If you want to get a podcast just about English, look somewhere else- American English podcast, Hadar Hemesh’s podcast just to name a few.

Best Podcasts ever. Can you make an episode about the word: “along”, it’s very confused to me, I don't know how to use it.

Question related to grammar
Dear hosts, thank you so much for answering my last question! I was super stoked when you guys mentioned my name on the show!I really appreciate it. But today, I have another question related to grammar. I’ve heard you guys and a bunch of other native speakers say they’re wanting to do sth, for example in episode 1919 ,but I’ve learnt that you can’t use the present continuous tense with words such as want or know. I’m kind of baffled because I think that this is a grammar error but natives seem to say this all the time.I would like it very much if you can break this down for me. Thanks a million From David Beijing China

Thank you and a question for you
Hi dear hosts, I am Mei from China. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a podcast. Normally I am just a quiet listener. But I really want to say thank you to your team. I have been following your program for 5 years, learning many useful English expressions that I have no chance to get from textbook. Such a fruitful experience! And a small question for you: I notice some of my foreign colleagues usually say “finger crossed” when they are hoping to see something good happen. Can you explain it a bit, and perhaps introduce some similar expressions? Thanks a lot.

So Much Misinformation
Hi there, Im British and came across this podcast. Congratulations to you for feeling you want to help in the world and educate, however a lot of your interpretations are extremely misleading. You are teaching foreigners bad English, that quite simply the English do not use, as your implying. Also wondering what two American ladies are doing trying to educate people to understand English terminology and expressions. One finds this baffling. Your better off teaching people the like for like words the Brits and the Americans use. There are also so many different ways to speak English depending on where you are geographically in the UK. Ladies please stop this nonsense and get your facts correct. Your spreading misleading education on such an old and beautiful language.

The change you made in my life
Hello, you are fantastic. You can’t even imagine what a huge change you’ve made in my life. I used to think that it was impossible to find a way to improve my English . I have moved to America recently and I found out that I can’t communicate with people properly. That I thought I was on intermediate level was an illusion. I tried a lot to use what I knew but in reality I forgot even the simplest words or structures when I wanted to talk. So I couldn’t find a job that I needed to make some money to help my husband to survive in this country. Then miracle happened and I found your podcasts. Now, I think I took the first step and made a great change in my mind- connection not perfection . I feel more relaxed when talking with people- of course with a lot of errors. I manage to save some money to take a course with you guys. Meanwhile, I listen to your podcasts as much as I can. Thank you guys a million for being me angels. Mina

Teaching Baby
hello dear friends, My husband and I listen to your podcasts every day. Good job keep going👏🏻👏🏻 I have a question, we are expecting a baby in four month, what should we do to make it easy for our child to learn English as second language? What procedure is right? Thanks a lot in advance

My very first review 😍
I fell in love with your podcast 😃 I listen to podcast's episodes , when I'm driving to work and back and when I'm doing house work 🧹😅 I get crazy and I'm like overloading with this amount of new information I receive. I also freaked out as I registered for the open conversation club 😬😬 Honestly I'm not a good speaker and I often wouldn't dare talking in English. But when I first told myself you can't do it! I answered "watch me/ try me / oh I will do it / trust me I can do it "😁 May God help me,🤞 Thank you and wish you the best

Great show.
I love this podcast, however, it make me uncomfortable when y’all started adding your own political opinion into this podcast. It’s like brainwashing these foreign audience who are not politically educated. All of you say that Chinese is communism. As a Chinese I would say Democrats are much worse. Tax ppl who works hard to help the lazy people who are parasites? This is not a right incentive. I’m not saying Republicans are good. Just saying this is not a political podcast. Adding ur own political opinion would be a huge drawback for this podcast.

Having fun binge listening to AEE
Hi ladies, I subscribed a few weeks ago and have been binging on it ever since. I have lived in the US for quite some years but am still not as fluent as I would like to be in English. Your podcast brought me new prospectives as well as gave me a chance to really understand a lot of the words, phrases, concepts and etc that I have been hearing a lot but didn’t clearly know how to use. I also love that you guys are so in touch with what is happening in the US and the world now and give the audience your takes on it. I wish I discovered your podcast earlier but on the other hand I am glad I found you just this year when I am stuck at home all the time doing loads of housework. You made housework fun! Boy am I glad that I have 1000+ episodes to binge on so I don’t have to worry about running out of episodes, at least for now:). Thank you for the wonderful job and keep it up! All the best, Wendy

The Best Company
I have been hearing AEE for almost a year. The best company while I exercise every morning, especially when it to comes to deal with these challenging times. Its podcasts goes over several topics, all episodes are very dynamic and look very natural and spontaneous; in fact, they have allowed me to improve my English overall, specially my listening skills. Very excited to start taking the AEE’s courses which will allow me to achieve other several short term goals. Warm hugs Javier Stacey

Awesome real podcast
I love this podcast. It’s real English from native speakers. Makes me laugh with others comments about not liking topics. Welcome to learning other languages. Learn a new language and what others think. Welcome to the world of English.

Your podcast is brilliant (for sure)
I’ve been listening to your podcast for a while and I appreciate so much for your efforts. You guys are great. I wanted to ask about an episode for transitive and intransitive verbs and verbs which are usually followed by complement. ( if u already don’t have one about this grammar). Happy early Christmas Niya

Alright for a non- native speaker but....
But you guys support corrupt Joe Biden. And he is pro- Beijing. The Chinese communist party has no regard to human rights. They brutally oppress the peaceful protesters in Hong Kong. They blatantly disregard the Sino- British declaration which gives Hong Kong the freedom that the mainland China doesn't have until 2047. Yet the CCP takes that away from like last year. If China Joe wins the people in Hong Kong are gonna be miserable. And the CCP will get stronger a lot quicker. Once they've surpassed the US they will take Taiwan and the South China Sea by force. A dictatorship authoritarian regime like the CCP with this kind of ambition is dangerous to the world. Plus I don't think Joe have the cognitive capability to lead a country. He's been in public service for like 47/48 years and has done nothing good. Now all of a sudden he could make America great? C'mon now....plus his proposed policies are terrible to say the least..

Thanks for all you’re doing
Can you please have a session on different pronunciations of letter “T” in American native accent. Most of the times t sounds like d and I was wondering if there is any regulations for that. Thanks in advance! Love you guys!
