I started listening to the phrogging episodes because of “I think not”. Now I’m listening through them. Starting at the beginning. I’m still a few years back in the catalog, and catching up fast.

Katie and Kimberly are so much fun to listen to. There’s nothing you will not enjoy about their podcast. They make Wednesdays something to look forward to!

This podcast is great…and that’s what I believe!

Katie & Kimberly (I listed alphabetically - no way I could decide who comes first otherwise), may not know it, but they are my new best friends. I never thought anything could be better than Dateline, but I look forward to their after-show even more than the show. Warning - Be prepared to snort and laugh out loud. They are just that good!

Love your show & your perspectives! Just a few comments about this episode. Y’all mentioned that you were curious about how the dad & grandfather died on the same day. I did a little googling & actually found a genealogy page that Bambi made for her family. One entry had a picture of her dad who died at age 34 of cirrhosis (according to the page). The grandfather actually had his son (Bambi’s dad) at age 50, so when he died he was in his eighties. Also, y’all also discussed having felt like you may have already done this episode due to the unique hairstyle in the show. This same hairstyle was shared by a prosecutor in another episode but I can’t remember the name of it because I was too caught up in the hairstyle.

If Dateline was a cake Kimberly and Katie would be the icing.

My mom’s name is Linda and she’s the best. This Linda isn’t a murder, she’s is accountant who is retired.

I would say that I’m biased, but I don’t interact as much as other dateline fans. BUT— Being a more quiet/behind the scenes fan, I am a little disappointed that I have never received a full shout out— but maybe that means I should step up my game? In a perfect world, KimberLeeLee would know that although I don’t watch Bobs Burgers, I do actually “laugh out loud” when she links a Seinfeld/Office/Arrested Devlopment quote and scream when she misses one. Katya with a Z would know that I believe we are best friends because we both love TnT, pallets, hair dye and all of the queens… and I’m not totally delulu that whilst planning a trip to Nashville I thought- hey! Maybe I can meet Katie finally! 🤦🏼‍♀️ However, I’ve loved Dateline since I was a wee Bebe and now that we have K & K commentate, I cannot imagine a world without them. Thank you both for the last 7 (7? Seven? SE7EN??) years. Cheers to many more water shoes, Lindas, hankies, lebanons, etc. 💁🏼‍♀️

Is it unhinged? Do they ramble? Is it like listening to someone sitting on the couch discussing their favorite show? Yes, yes, and again yes. It’s completely comfortable and like growing an entirely new friendship the more you listen.

I find Katie and Kimberly’s voices very soothing for whatever reason. I like to listen to episodes while I’m winding down. I realize they are normally about murder. I’ve become a true crime junky - don’t judge me. Also they are super witty.

I’m sorry. I’m late to the game on your podcast. I used to be a Law & Order devotee but I found Dateline (like seriously watched all the backlog) during the pandemic. And now I’m obsessed and my family doesn’t want to talk about every episode with me (which feels rude but may be valid) so finding y’all has been perfect! Keep up the good work. Best podcast ever!!!

As an avid Dateline watcher, I’ve now all but ceased my own popcorn dates with Keith to fire up K&K whilst searching for my Thrive mascara. Now, that’s not to say Mank has exited the building altogether. I listen to the podcast, then rewiiiiind and watch the episode. Armed with my bingo cards, I sit through endless episodes howling laughing and reminiscing of my 90’s teenage years. Let’s be real, they are covering vicious crimes that break your heart, but K&Ks empathy and compassion stretch as far as their comedy. If you like true crime (um…who doesn’t nowadays) this is for you. If you need to laugh, you needn’t go further.

This is like hanging out talking about dateline with my besties… I recently discovered this podcast and have been binging the last couple months. They’re hilarious, I get glares for laughing out loud while listening on my headphones

Kimberly brings the spicy snark, and Katie brings the heart and sweetness. I love listening while I am working (as a pet stylist). Wow, I’ve been loving Dateline for years and years, but I just recently discovered this podcast. I love Kimberly and her deadpan lines while giving a great rundown of the Dateline episode they’re covering. You can’t consider yourself a Dateline fan without listening to this pod!

These ladies have been self appointed my podcast besties and my go to mood enhancers!! I laugh out loud at work and always feel a mood lift listening to them. The stories are always done in a respectful way and the banter is hilarious! I seriously feel like I’m hanging out with friends when I listen. They also almost always respond on social media comments or direct messages which makes everyone feel a part of it. Date with dateline is a fun community to be a part of!

I had never even watched Dateline when a friend suggested this podcast, but I was hooked from episode one. Kimberly and Katie have a fantastic rapport. They are witty, clever, and I love having them ride along during my commute. Every now and then I am so intrigued by their retelling that I actually go watch the episode. I don’t even skip their commercials because they do such a fantastic job of weaving the commercials into the episode. It’s also refreshing to listen to a podcast that isn’t full of salty language. Kimberly and Katie are my absolute favorite imaginary friends. Thanks, ladies!

I love this podcast and you ladies just mesh so seamlessly together!! I’m obsessed with the new intro “words” (didn’t actually love it at first but each time I’m like ooooo, I wonder where that goes in the episode) and love the “Dateline” whisper. Didn’t care much for the “ahhhhh.” The whisper is on brand! Love you ladies!! Keep doin what you’re doin!

I knew of this podcast, but had never really listened. I started recently an absolutely love it. Great recapping and humor.

So a friend & I were out running errands one Saturday & found ourselves near a friends work. Decided we would pop in & say hey! He wasn’t working that day, so back to the car…I’m talking to her saying at least we tried as I am trying to open the door…only to see a big black lab dog in the front seat!!! I instinctively say I’m sorry & close the door before he can get out or get upset!! I then notice her car is right next to this one & is identical to hers!! I’m laughing to tears & she never saw what happened!

Not my cup of tea. Too much performance and extraneous jabber for me. I can get more information from other podcasts without the singing and trying to be cute.

So I have you both beat in the car blindness….. i forgot what episode tho! I went to pick up pastries at a local bakery and carried them back to my car and very carefully placed them on the floor of the back seat. To my HORROR there was a man in my car in the drivers seat so I screamed in his face and then saw there was someone in the passenger seat so I screamed louder and fell back. As this was all happening ( the screaming and the falling and pretty sure flailing) I noticed the people were laughing and as I was gasping and looking i noticed my car was a different color and then it all was making sense. Yup…. Not my car…… I laughed so hard I was leaving without my pastries and they had to run them over to me. Oh yeah their car was running so I also didn’t hear it. 🙄😳🤪
