When is the show coming out next?

I listen to this podcast years ago and it still stays with me. I was shocked. Living in a small rural community in Minnesota this podcast is a must listen. The podcast did a fantastic job bring you to that day to that moment. It was eye opening.

I was not looking forward to this one but felt it needed to be heard. I’m glad I listened, though the story is frustrating and sad and makes you feel that justice has not been served. Which is the point.

Do not waste your time unless you enjoy liberal leaning media BS. Their disdain for the police and ability to paint people as angels is par for the course for today’s s media. Example: When detailing the couples activities the day of the shooting, “they smoked a joint and then went to pick up her daughter” ...REALLY?! So, she was such a great mother she allowed her high boyfriend to drive with her daughter in the car. This doesn’t excuse the actions of the police officer and nobody deserved to fie over it, but do not paint them in an angelic light.

This was one of the worst Cop shoot black cases in US history! Thats the story, 74 Hr tried to make a story beyond that. Shame, Phill deserved BETTER!

This podcast is incredibly good. It’s deep, and thought provoking.

Good look into this case.

Subtly biased at times, and very biased at others. Basically this is a poorly done podcast. The case and cases like it are riveting but this podcast is not worth your time. They should speak to more experts and have less discussion about their personal views.

This podcast was extremely well done. The deep dive into the entire incident was spectacular along with the delve into the lives of Philando Castile and Jeronimo Yanez. Like many people, I was already extremely mad and upset about the incident and knew it should have never happened. I wanted (and still want) change and for cops to be charged and persecuted for their crimes. This podcast did an amazing job of going through everything that happened and explaining it. Would definitely recommend.

A well done podcast with excellent interviews and updates. They shed brilliant light precisely where it needed to be shed.

Can the episodes be maybe 20 mins long instead of 5? Just put them together... it gets annoying after listening for 5 mins then end credits roll, again and again and again.

I have listened to it yet, but I’m sure it’s unbiased. I decided that before listening. 😂 That’s the way we’re encouraged to think these days! Works for me!

but i can’t get all the episodes of the trial. For ex. days 2&3 are missing from the feed

First of all, before anyone starts listening to this podcast, it must be said that the reporters are not comfortable around guns. Even though that is obvious when listening, they do an excellent job showing both perspectives of this story. I wish they would continue by digging into and analyzing more controversial police shootings.

This series was really excellent. It was trying to do more then just pin a blame on someone or play a political game with a tragic event. Every question they asked was to draw clarity in the issue or questions that I am certain some listeners had. I can’t recommend this enough.

I randomly found this podcast, and even though I knew how it all ended, it was still interesting to listen to the whole thing. The host has a nice voice, good production, good job!

Thought it hit all the right notes--well done!

Based on the 3rd Coast Festival win, I started this podcast with high expectations- however unfortunately, it was immature and lacking any legal analysis. With coverage like, “we stood up, the jury left, we sat down” and packed into the ‘seats as close as you would sit with family’ were nonsensical. This could have been outstanding with less about how the reporters were feeling/experiencing and more professional legal analysis. Serial set forth the gold standard and this was no where even close. Back to school, kids, and keep listening to good trial reporting.

This podcast is for all those who question why football players kneel. This isn't about disrespecting a flag or the veterans and soldiers who risk their life. This is about the men and women like Philando whose lives are cut short simply because they are seen as an automatic threat and gunned down senselessly. It's heartbreaking to listen to this podcast but very necessary.

Just finished listening to S-Town, and this just doesn't compare. It's a timely and important topic, but these two reporters sound like 16 year olds reading the morning news script at a high school.

The podcast provides an in-depth look into the story that so many of us have heard about, but forgotten. We cannot afford to forget Philando Castile.

This was a very informative podcast. I like that it wasn't riddled with pointless information to drag it out. Perfect amount of time. I would definitely recommend this to all of you out there.

Very detailed and fair coverage of the murder of Philando Castile. Does a good job of focusing on the events and remains impartial; actually impartial not "impartial aka definitely supporting the officer" #blm

Justice was not served for Philando. But hopefully this podcast can spread across the nation, share his story, and bring justice to our systems.

I feel like you all convicted the officer before the trial even began!!! You wanna know who is to blame for this shooting, it's the 90% of black men in gangs shooting people with no regard for anyone but themselves!! If you have one group of people, regardless of their color, who are out there in gangs killing each other in record numbers, those are the people you get nervous around!!! There has been black officers shoot black men, why do we not hear about this!!!

Listen, you won't regret it.

Listening to this really helped me through the difficulty I had with the outcome of the trial and everything in the news. It was objective, I liked hearing the facts of both sides, yet so though provoking, emotional and sincere to the listeners and community concerns. Thanks for making a podcast like this!

Fascinating, well done! In my opinion the most important detail revealed in Episode 3 was a recent incident Yanez was involved in before Castile was killed. On a traffic stop he lost his cool, it took Yanez 13 minutes of hyper ventilating, and with help from his fellow officer, to calm himself down.

This Podcast takes out all of the emotion and explains what happened in Minnesota without a whole lot of exaggeration. This should be required listening for all people, especially in these troubling times.

Thank you for doing such an amazing job covering such a horrific story. It's blantantly and painfully obvious that something has to be done about our poorly trained officers and culture of racism. RIP Philando. Tax the 1%, end Citizens United, and help fund public services such as police depts. for better training and more salary.
