I did a Bible study at church that Jennifer co-authored. I absolutely fell in love with her and started listening to the podcast shortly after. My son struggles with severe anxiety and so many mornings are extremely stressful and many are full of tears. However, after listening to the podcast and hearing the laughter and the inspiring words, it helps remind me that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength each and every day. Thank you for such a gift!

Jennifer's bible study, Psalm 23, completely changed my awareness of God's constant presence. I truly fell in love with my Shepherd as He used her study to show His love for me. Then, I listened to her podcast with Joni and cried happy tears as I heard them both proclaim this Psalm to be a favorite! I know that both ladies will be celebrated in heaven for their earthly work through the grace of Christ who provides all we need!

I was moved to tears by the end of Jennifer’s and Joni’s message! Wow! This message gave me so many tools to use in my everyday life. I praise God Almighty for the way He has used these two women to bring Him glory and spread His beautiful message of love, faith, and hope! SO GOOD!!

There have been so many of these podcasts that our Heavenly Father has used to bring words of insight, healing, thoughtfulness, or a balm to my soul at that time. I started out the year with my word being patience, and in a Beth Moore study I remembered the other day that patience bows. I lost my Mom suddenly on January 4. She was a believer and 96 years old, but it is so hard to miss her. Especially after 3 1/2 years of taking care of her in our home, but I’m entering this new phase bowing (surrendering) and receiving whatever Jesus has to give me. You have introduced me to so many wonderful authors, and I can’t really say how appreciative I am. Thank you is small but all I have to offer - thank you!

Well this is my second time writing a review… I still haven’t missed an episode of this podcast! For my part-time job, I clean a house every Thursday morning and always look forward to starting this as soon as I begin to work. It has become a staple in my Christian walk and I am SO thankful for all the encouragement and growth it provides. And as I prayed for my word of the year I’ve felt the Holy Spirit bring a simple, and maybe even seemingly cliche’ word to my mind several times. But I can’t deny that it is from Him so I’m going with it! 😆 My word is GROW. Already I have noticed myself having more intentionality in different ways because that word is in the back of my head. It’s so cool! It’s amazing how intimate, gentle, and loving the Holy Spirit is with us. I will continually be listening to Jennifer and Casey weekly as I GROW this year!! 👏🏻

I love how Jennifer has a variety of subjects and speakers on her show. I recently listened to the audio pictures from Italy and enjoyed every episode. I’ve never been to Italy and this makes me want to go! Please keep up the good work as you encourage us 4:13er’s.

I began listening to this podcast just a couple of days ago after hearing Jennifer Rothschild’s part of the Bible study: When You Pray. She spoke in Lament. The study is great and her part was exceptional. I listen to the podcast as I go on my walks and it has brought so many calming thoughts to my mind after heartache from my mother’s passing 6 months ago. I’m so thankful Jennifer, KC and all of these wonderful people are allowing Jesus to be seen through them. Philippians 4:13 was the verse I used to get through each class in Nursing school. I’m so glad I found this and will share with others.

Hey there, thank you for FGF and for this podcast. I appreciate that your messages are uplifting, funny, sometimes deal with some hard issues and are based on Biblical truths. I have attended FGF twice, most recently last Fall in Downingtown, PA. However the first time I attended was at Ogletown Baptist Church in Newark, DE in maybe 2012. My husband and I had just moved to the DC area from Newark, DE due to his job transfer. I left my Kindergarten teaching job, my friends and my just about grown children and was having difficulty adjusting. A friend invited me to come back to Newark for your conference. Your theme was “It may not be well with my circumstances but it is well with my soul”. That really spoke to me and it still does today. Thank you for your ministry:)

Thank you for this 3-part interview. I wish we could have heard (audio) a short excerpt of this book—hence only the 4 stars. I am a bit older than Beth and have never used any of her books for a Bible study, but I can identify with becoming a Christian at a very young age, being a people pleaser, and total involvement with our local child (different denomination). I also came from a large family of 6 children—I was number 2 of the 6 but the first of the 4 girls. I knew the Bible inside and out, including LOTS of Scripture memory (KJV). I was “judged” by my behavior, yet my heart was inwardly in rebellion due to having to “obey rules.” I was never asked about my feelings and reconciling them with the “rules” of my parents (strong disciplinarians), especially when trying to live in the pop culture of the 1950s and 1960s and fit in with public school classmates and other secular organizations was very difficult for me—I had to attempt to become 2 different people. We were taught to have a personal relationship with God, how was an adolescent to reconcile “real life” and be a “strong” Christian?

Jennifer has such a way of teaching and encouraging… it’s truly a gift! Two years ago my whole world turned upside down when my adult children and husband estranged from me. I have found much comfort and growth in these podcasts as well as her Bible studies. I wouldn’t wish estrangement on anyone but God makes a way!

I stumbled onto this podcast when I was going through a season of parenting change & also death of my father & several other family members & a few close friends. It was such a hard season & it was so difficult. I would listen to every weekly podcast even if the title didn’t seem like it would be anything that I needed. Inevitably it would always be something that would help me…even if it was to correct my attitude. I’m thankful for the many subjects that they present. It is a well balanced program & very helpful.

I had never listened to a podcast until something drove me toward this one. I listen to the them at the gym, work, anywhere I need a spiritual “pick me up”. Jennifer and KC are a necessary spiritual supplement— and that is an understatement :-) I know that I can turn to them for down to earth yet factual biblical nourishment. I listened to the how to behave right when someone does you wrong podcast this morning. Tonight after work I will drive 100 miles on a snowy road. Try to get 4 hrs sleep in my old truck, fly to the middle of nowhere, and try to provide a little support for 3 days to my daughter’s family while they have a new baby. My ex-husband will be present. Yes it’s toxic. I have an NLT Bible to gift him, and a nice note about God’s gospel. The podcast centered me. I will definitely meditate on the given scriptures during the layover. Thanks for this “ I Can “.

I have been listening to Jennifer and KC for a while. They are my go-to daily podcast while walking my pup, awake in the wee hours, just hanging out, and most recently, during an 11 day hospital stay. I know that I will find wisdom, laughter, giggles, and encouragement. Philippians 4:13 is one of my life verses, so I am declaring it with them daily.
