Best audio!
Compared to other podcasts featuring the old Dragnet radio shows, this podcast’s versions are extremely clean and crisp. Best quality!

Opinion:
Agree with previous review being it’s just the program and not a play by play oration by an announcer !

Great
No announcer giving background info or opinions makes this series better than other podcasts of Dragnet. Just the shows. The only way to improve it would be to eliminate the original commercials, but there are 15-second-skip forward and reverse arrows, so you can skip the commercials by hitting the forward arrow a few times. Once you've heard the commercials for an episode or two, there's no historical value in hearing any more, and they just get annoying. Howver, the quality of the shows makes up for it.

Addictive
This is a great peak into life in midcentury LA. Just as the city was becoming what we know it as today, it still had one foot set in the past. If you're into crime drama, and noir mysteries you'll love this. I've listened to 10 of these in the past week. They're so good. I was a fan of the 60s tv show watching reruns on nick at nite as a kid. The only radio drama I've listened to are the modern parodies on Prairie Home Companion and The Thrilling Adventure Hour. Those are okay, but these classic episodes are much better. The production is so good I'm able to be captivated by this theatre of the mind in a way I didn't think would be possible. I get bored watching tv and have to grab my iphone or laptop constantly through a show. I don't have that urge with these old fashioned radio dramas. There is some tape his, and other noises from time to time. Otherwise the audio quality is decidedly lo fi, but completely intelligible. In fact it makes it feel even more like you're listening on an old am radio.

Best podcast ever!!
Best podcast ever! Just love the old Dragnet radio shows. This podcast presents them just like they were first broadcast in the 40's and 50's. Great sound and nothing extra to get in the way of the great show. Please keep it up. Thanks for doing this for all us fans!!!

Love it!
Ever since I got this podcast I've been hopelessly addicted to it! I'm a fan of old time movies, television shows, and radio programs. I don't need all that junky modern stuff, just my old time programs!

Outstanding Podcast! One of the very best. If you love old radio shows you'll enjoy this one. Each episode is just that. There is no secondary announcer describing it or giving his opinion. It's just the show just as it was originally broadcast.
