Great
So it really is great. This podcast gives me instructions on how to do different poses. This helps because I’m an audio learner. However the instructor sometimes speaks very monotone, maybe while trying to be calming. I’m a yoga beginner, and they sometimes skip between poses that I can easily do and ones I could try and try to do, but never get it. Maybe try marking your episodes based on beginner, intermediate, and expert, so that I know which poses I might actually be able to do😅. This may seem like a low review, but I’m very critical and have almost never given anything five stars. I also started at the very first and oldest episodes, so it’s possible my opinions are based on the older versions and they get better. Basically, apologies if that is the case! 😉

Found a new medium that i never considered
I’m a self taught yogi using youtube since 2014. One day, a couple weeks back, i was complaining because I was tired of feeling the need to see what the instructor was doing to know i was doing things correctly. So, being curious, i went on spotify to see if there were any yoga flow podcasts, and lo and behold, i found you guys. Everything i could ask for. Thx guys.

Announcing My Departure 🛫
I’ve gained a lot from the few episodes I’ve partaken in but the spewing of political & racial bigotry is disgusting. Learn to meditate. Lear resilience. Learn more.

Trauma-informed yoga is needed
As a long-time yoga practitioner who has also suffered with many chronic ailments and trauma, I wish the American yoga world had more awareness of how to deal with this. Cues and voice tone that imply how a pose “should” feel easily take those with chronic pain and dissociation issues out of the practice, and can be downright damaging if the practitioner is new. I tried a couple of different recent episodes, and had to stop. It’s a wonderful service being provided, but I would warn those with these kinds of health concerns to find a trauma-informed teacher.

careful - good workout but not yoga
the class i took was more pilates than yoga... pretty much no yoga involved... maybe that’s just the class i took. it was a good work out but there were several moves and cues can easily cause injuries.

Giggle Yoga
I just did the mini core & it was challenging but enjoyable. Well planned. The instructor was kinda giggling a lot, and seemed a bit stoned? lol! maybe she’s just super zen & content from all the yoga Haha! I really liked the workout & will definitely do this one again.

Great for cultivating a daily yoga practice
Yoga Download instructors are excellent and the podcasts offer a variety of styles and difficulty levels. I particularly like to use the 20 minute podcasts when I’m traveling or pressed for time. Thanks to Yoga Download and my local studio, I’ve been able to maintain a daily practice for many years.

I miss the audio classes
This podcast is so amazing and pretty much my main way of doing yoga. I really enjoy the audio classes, I can let myself go into my practice, a lot of the instructors were super good at talking through the movements and poses...but the videos I actually get lost a little easier and find myself looking at the video to often versus being able to just listen and do yoga

Morning quickie
Oh, my, goodness! This 15 minute workout made my heart hate increase, helped me stretch without hurting myself, and as a beginner in yoga this was amazing! So relaxing and I found myself laughing with the instructor and somehow knowing what pose came next. This made me feel like it was just her and I, as if we had had formed a strong bond. I felt very included and relaxed. I definitely downloaded and subscribed. Thank you so much. Honestly. Ashley.

So happy to have found this podcast
Well paced, diverse and accessible. Love being able to have the visuals if I need to or just following the audio.

Perfect except...
When the video ends the podcast should end too. Instead, while we are peacefully resting in shavasana the next video begins with its upbeat music which startles us out of our resting place. Otherwise I so enjoy the variety and quality of teachers and classes available. Thank you!

I only wish they used more specific words.
I can't see very well. I need to hear "left/right/up/down/forward/backward" more often. Otherwise, I love this podcast.

Favoritive Podcasts of All
I love Yoga Download podcasts. I do them everyday to give me a good start to my day. Please continue to include meditation to the podcasts, I find those wonderful, especially the one on Yoga Nidra. All the podcasts are so well done. I have been doing this for years.

Unclear
The narrator does not make it clear what pose comes next and does not make it clear when you start the next pose. This podcast goes way too fast and even on half speed it is difficult to understand what it happening.

Perfect for me!
I’ve been doing yoga for years and all I was looking for was audio to guide me! I don’t need the visual anymore for most poses and this is portable too! I just did my first session outside in a park on my mat after a run. Love it!

When I am short on Time
When I am short on time, I need this kind of class even more. I can not always make it to my studio. To be able to slow down & honor my practice and myself is wonderful. Thank you!

Best Yoga App for Travelers
I’ve had this app for over five years and I absolutely love it! Being a constant traveler this gives me the opportunity to always have a new practice waiting for me. The pose guide and the guided practice are very detailed and helpful. Highly recommend!

Wow
I've listened to them all, well, some I'm afraid to hear, about kids. You do a fantastic job! Love this Pod

Great but still figuring it out
I would probably give this 5 stars but for two things. First, I think there’s a system that I haven’t figured out. Maybe I will after a while but by the second class, I had to stop and recheck the poses. Clearly I need to use the provided charts. Anyway, I practiced yoga for many years and feel like I know most of the poses but have been out of it for a while so need a refresher. The classes move very quickly though so if I miss a pose, we’re off to the next one before I can get it right. I’m used to a slower style where you hold the position for a while. The speed isn’t a criticism though. It’s just different than what I’m used to. Anyway, as I said, I’ve been out of yoga for a while and want to get back. I am loving these classes. For me, 20 minutes is a good length because I don’t think I can last a 90 minute class at this point. As I said, I am still trying to figure this system out because lesson 2 seemed to be pretty advanced compared to 1. Maybe it’s just because I am so out of shape at the moment. And I assume that students combine these classes to get longer practices. So slight confusion on my part about how to follow along and the speed. Neither are really criticisms of what is really a great podcast. It is challenging and the provided pose charts are invaluable. I am looking forward to getting into this more and enjoying it for a long time. Thanks!

Great workouts
This was a great workout. Better for someone who's a bit familiar with yoga, as the instructor moves at a moderate pace. However, the format and the downloadable guide make these accessible to everyone. Plus, as has been mentioned, you can work in yoga whenever you have a few minutes. Practice makes progress!

Only one glitch
I really enjoy these podcasts and how easy it is to try different teachers and styles of yoga. The one issue I'm having is that some episodes won't stay deleted. They reappear every time I open the app and it's very irritating.

Best yoga podcast out there
I’ve tried a bunch of different yoga podcasts, and this is definitely the one I like the most. It’s great to have 20-25 minute sessions, perfect for in the morning before work or winding down after a long day. The variety is great too - relaxing, morning flows to sun salutations to tough power flows.

Absolute quality
I have always loved doing yoga, but like many others, having to depend on a visual like a teacher or video is distracting and difficult for me. I do at least two 20 minute sessions a day with these podcasts and they really are the first time I have legitimately (and consistently) enjoyed exercising to the point where I am actually seeing positive change in my body. I may even have to look at longer sessions because they don't seem long enough!

Alright
For the most part the sessions are pretty good and helpful and I usually enjoy doing them but on of the sessions just made me angry, the fearless heart one, because half the time the speaker would say the indian term of the position and wouldn’t explain what it is so I had know idea what I was doing because I didn’t spend the time memorizing the poses. Also I couldn’t understand what the speaker was saying so once again I had no idea what I was doing. My yoga level is probably intermediate but I don’t think that was an aspect in my frustration to that session. I have done many other sessions on this site and liked them all but the fearless heart one.

Amazing!
These are quick and easy to follow. I do them in my apartment when I don't have time to go to a studio and still get a good workout in a short amount of time.

Love it!
I love this app. I play the podcast on my iPad while the downloaded positions guide is on the screen for reference. I love that sessions are around 20 minutes, so I can get a little bit in on a hectic day. Sometimes I'll do several sessions at different times whenever I have a break.

Fantastic for home yoga practice
I've been following Yoga Download for a few years now and I love the majority of their classes--especially classes taught by Jackie Causal. I find their audio recordings are easy to follow and more relaxing and "inward focused" than watching yoga videos. I've bought several of their longer classes at their website. Well worth it!

great home practice!

Go Slow to Go Fast
I'm amazed how much is packed into a short time, yet without feeling rushed. The instructions are clear and precise. My husband and I have used four of these recordings and we are looking forward to more.

Excellent yoga podcast!!
Just learned about this podcast and have loved all the episodes I've tried so far! I will be using this podcast a lot! Very excited to have a free resource for awesome yoga guidance. I've already donated thru PayPal which is a very easy process I'd encourage you to do if you also enjoy yoga downloads.

Exactly what I was looking for
I have been wanting to get back into yoga for a long time, but feel intimidated walking into a class while so out of practice. In addition I am a graduate student with a hectic schedule and low budget. These podcasts have been exactly what I need to work on my posture and poses and to get back into the flow of things. There are different options for tuning into each class whether you prefer audio only with a pose guide, or the video to see what you're supposed to do, or all of the above. I will support these podcasts as much as I can and will recommend to many.

Exceptional
This podcast is exceptional. The instructors give explanations to help you get the correct position even without looking at the pose guide. When taking live yoga sessions, instuctors have asked if I am advanced and 90% of what I have learned has been from this podcast. It will help with tightness and minor pains. Yoga stretching is an unbelievable cure for so many aches and pains. Highly recommend this podcast.

The best yoga guidance!
Love the calming voice. I am a runner and do Hip opening flow2 regularly. I feel great when I'm done. No more pain in my hip. :). So grateful to start my day with yoga. Great guidance on breathing, positioning and daily focal point/offering. Thank you!!!

So many good things about this podcast
What's great about this podcast is that whatever your need is, you can find something that fits. For example: I've been doing yoga for years, but after a few busy weeks when I did a lot of gardening and traveling and little yoga, I'm stiff and my back and hips hurt. I'm chronically busy, but determined to find 20 minutes a day for yoga and aspiring to 45 minutes to an hour. Finally, because my internet connection is somewhat unreliable, I may not be able to download a large video podcast, but a still would like a visual reference. Solution: download a gentle hatha sequence, a hip opener, and a shoulder opener in the audio format, with the excellent pose guides for each. As my back and hips get back to normal, I can substitute a more vigorous vinyasa sequence for the hatha yoga. If I've got 20 minutes I can get a short class in, but if I have more time, I can skip shavasana and go directly to the next class. The queuing and instruction for all classes I've tried were clear and easy to follow. The wide variety of classes available means I can try many different styles of yoga without shelling out $15 for a class I may hate. There are a number of excellent yoga podcasts on iTunes, but this is my current favorite.

Perfect for squeezing in some OM
I can't always make it to a class or even commit to an hour. These podcasts are well done and give you that perfect blend of gentle workout, massage, decompression, and stretching that I love about yoga. I've done a few of these and most of them are really good.

Perfect
I just tried episode 1. It's almost like being in yoga class... Without the desire to compare yourself to everyone else! ;). On top of that, the PDF pose guides are an excellent and necessary addition. Thank you so much!

The Best!
These podcasts have brought yoga into my life on a daily basis. I am 56 yrs. with arthritis, a compressed spine, and years of not stretching. I'm working on my strength and flexibility when I can, where I can, and privately. I love the music, the pace, the clear concise instruction, and most of all the wisdom given with each lesson. Thank you so much for providing me with a no-excuses way to a healthier body and spirit. Kathy

The video was a great idea but i think the instructor talked waaaaaaay too much. i don't know if they even noticed but she repeated herself at least 5 times about this video being about flexibility and strength. i was so disappointed. usually this workouts are great and straight to the point. i had to turn this one off, too slow and too much talking. ugh!

great yoga podcast
I looked through all the yoga podcasts and apps and this is the best I found! Thank you! The combination pose guide + audio keeps the downloads reasonable in size (compared to video).

Love it!
This is a great podcast. So many different types of classes, it's a great substitute for yoga classes and is better than the yoga apps in the app store, all for free!

Love the slideshows
I found my first yoga download slideshow in 2008 when experiencing Hip soreness. New to yoga I loved how simple it was to follow the slideshow format. Now with the Apple TV I can once again enjoy the slideshows and a simplistic way to experience yoga!

No labels when loaded to iPad!
I really like these audio and video workouts. But when I go to use one, all of the titles look the same, except for time, and the title that showed up in iTunes doesn't show up on my device. A real pain! So I have to open each one to look at it and see if it is the one I want. I would give 5 stars if it was just more practical for use.

Excellent classes
I started doing yoga with this podcast. The resources were clear enough for a beginner to figure out what to do. Now that I am more practiced I still love these for quick workouts.
