I am so sad that Dawn Serra is no longer making this podcast! Such a fount of knowledge with zero judgement and open hearted discussions with guests. The content is informative and so important for healthy lifestyles. I’m going back and re-listening to old episodes just to get all the goodness this show has to offer again!

i found this podcast to be very informative, and it discusses topics in a very human way which is nonetheless mature and respectful. It’s validating to hear non binary identities discussed in such a way that presents them as inevitable and as a fact instead of a possibility. It makes me feel visible. There’s information on so many topics and if it gets wordy then I just skip around to what I want to listen to. Thanks for the awesome podcast!

Thought this was going to be informative and interesting but all I heard was Canadian Libtardisum. Woa is me. Really? Only the strong survive so get used to it missy, you can’t change nature.

Dawn is a wickedly smart and deeply compassionate human being. A skilled interviewer with great guests. Truly one of the best sexuality podcasts out there.

I can’t understand a single word

Dawn is really doing the work to make this world a better place. It’s so rare to hear people talk like she does with the guests, and offering little steps people can take to truly make a difference in how they interact with other humans. This show gives me hope for humanity!

I feel completely at home here - bowled over by brilliant advice and nourishing conversations. The great content & advice Dawn and her incredible guests provide, combined with the relatable way in which they deliver it had me hooked from the very first listen. Sex Gets Real is a must listen for anyone interested in exploring their own sexual evolution & development. Keep up the incredible work Dawn! 🙏

Amazing inclusive podcast. An active ally and intersectional feminist. She is goals. And this podcast is worth every minute.

I love Dawn. She is a breath of fresh air. But the show is boring. I said it. It is so busy plugging other podcasters and selling. I’m glad she’s doing well. But it’s like a college panel that you want to sneak out of. Good information but it’s torture most of the time.

32 minutes in and hasn’t addressed the topic? I’m waiting for them to say “gotcha we wasted your time lol”

DAWN!!! Wow! I didn’t think I would learn as much as I have about communication between my partner and I. I’m a big fan of this show now. I’m kind of geeking out on it. I really hope this show continues to bring on unique insights on sex and the guests are always super unique.

I just started listening but so far has been amazing with advice and talk about real sex/relationship/body topics that we need to hear about. I can not wait to get through more episodes and continue becoming sexually confident and free!

Trying to make Sex, Sexual Encounters and everything sexual too complicated. Uses the word “Like,” “Do the thing,” and “yea” a bit too much. Its sex, there doesn't always need to be an explanation or a reason, its just sex.

I am warning you this music is bad bad bad. 👎👎👎👎

I absolutely LOVE this podcast! Dawn responds to listener questions with so much compassion and kindness. I love that loaded/taboo topics like sex can be discussed matter-of-factly. I have learned so much listening to this, and it has significantly expanded my world view! Sex positivity is essential to reducing shame and improving public health and this podcast is a great way to bring it to the public!

The content of this podcast is ok but I would suggest to the host that when you’re discussing problems people are facing you don’t laugh about everything. I realize you’re trying to make it fun but not everything is laughable.

I have been diving into sexuality and feminism and racism for the past 7 years. I have learned so much from this podcast, I often write in and have my questions answered. Dawn will change your life for the better!

I went to a Catholic HS lol, so this podcast has been very educational, eye-opening, and empowering for me. The range of topics covered is great and I like how in depth they go.

Love, love, love! I’ve just now in my 30s begun to educate myself and explore an alternative sexuality. And I have been very pleased with the content and topics from this podcast.

Dawn is a wonderful host and she treats her guests and her listeners with respect and honesty. She is not afraid to talk about any of the hard questions and she always helps me think about things in new ways.

I love this podcast. It's really thought-provoking and exemplifies the hosts intellect and compassion. As a fat woman with a disability, it makes me feel very heard. It's a treat listening to it whenever it comes out.

Dawn Serra speaks about sex, relationships, kinks and fetishes, and being kind to yourself in a way that is approachable and easy to listen to. I find it to be a very helpful and educational podcast, and there is much to learn here. The Explore More Summit she's worked so hard to produce the last couple of years is one of the most life changing, amazing, educational collections of talks out there, and really helps a person learn how to navigate relationships of any kind with people from many walks of life. Dawn Serra's podcasts are amazing and fascinating. Anyone interested in becoming more capable of effective communication with their partners, or becoming more kind to themselves, should consider listening to this!

This podcast is incredibly great for sex education and just creating an open space for people to learn and discuss sexuality, relationships, sex, communication, gender, and all the things related!

OK show but needs better production. The outbursts of laughter into the mic are obnoxious and distorted.

The info is thick and cogent. The topics are a good variety and I am always interested as to what the next week's show will be on. The weak spot is the host. Her nasally voice gets very monotonous and drones on and on at times. Perhaps breaking up the long spans of chatter with ad breaks or 'follow' reminders would make the show a little more palatable.

Dawn is literally a soul sister, best friend and mother in one voice. Always educational, always inclusive, always inspiring, always REAL.

Love the podcast. It helped me open up to the person I love about different types of sex and everything else and we are both extremely happy because of it.

Found recently. Listening Thru the list when commuting. A few times, some concerns about crossing over into giving actual medical/ health advice. Generally good solid open sex positive, good questions and answers. Try listen to 12 episodes, see if you like it, you probably will!

Informative, Entertaining, Addictive, and Educational. I have listened to nothing else since discovering Sex Gets Real. Dawn is such a great resource of information. I have been inspired to try new things and explore. This is by far my favorite podcast.
