Live From The Edison Times Square Chronicles Presents: owner Suzanna Bowling chats with author and Lit Path co-founder Tamara Dowling about healing after betrayal, breaking the silence surrounding compulsive sexual behavior disorder, and transforming pain into purpose. Dowling's deeply personal memoir, Worn, Weathered, Worthy: The Journey to What Lies Beneath, explores the devastation of discovering sex addiction within a marriage and the difficult, often nonlinear path toward healing, restoration, and hope. Drawing from lived experience with striking candor, Dowling discusses trauma, resilience, relationships, and the emotional realities too many people suffer through quietly and alone.
The conversation also shines a light on Lit Path, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Dowling co-founded to make trauma-informed mental health treatment more financially accessible for individuals, couples, and families impacted by compulsive behaviors and betrayal trauma. Through Lit Path, Dowling launched Sex Addiction Awareness Week and the annual CSBD Hope for Healing Conference, a first-of-its-kind national gathering designed to reduce stigma, connect survivors with resources, and create meaningful dialogue between clinicians, advocates, peer support leaders, and those seeking recovery. Held each June, the conference combines therapeutic workshops, educational programming, and community-building initiatives while raising scholarship funds for individuals unable to afford specialized treatment and care.

Live From The Edison Times Square Chronicles Presents: owner Suzanna Bowling chats with Cabaret Legend Sidney Myer. There are performers who entertain audiences, and then there are artists who become woven into the emotional architecture of New York nightlife itself. Sidney Myer belongs firmly in the latter category.
A renowned cabaret performer, longtime booking director at Don't Tell Mama, and multiple MAC and Bistro Award winner, Myer has spent decades shaping the pulse of New York's intimate performance scene both onstage and behind the curtain. Beloved by audiences and fiercely respected by performers, he is one of those increasingly rare figures who understands cabaret not simply as entertainment, but as emotional conversation.
At Pangea and across New York's cabaret landscape, his sold-out performances have become events unto themselves.
Behind the scenes, Myer's impact on the cabaret community may be even greater. As the longtime booking manager for Don't Tell Mama, he has championed generations of performers across cabaret, comedy, and music, helping sustain one of the city's most vital artistic ecosystems.
The American Popular Song Society will honor Sidney Myer at its 2026 Gala on Monday, June 15 at The Cutting Room.
In Sidney Myer's world, songs are never just songs. They are memories, punchlines, heartbreaks, survival stories, and little pieces of New York history carried from one piano-lit room to another.
I am so grateful to Sidney for being with us and sharing his life and career.
