The Bible tells us that Jonah was rebellious against the word of God and went in the opposite direction of where God told him to go. And we know that God sent a fish to swallow Jonah, and God had compassion on Jonah and allowed the fish to spit him on the land so that he could go to the city of Nineveh and minister there. We also see how God has mercy on the city of Nineveh. Even though it was a wicked and crazy city God still loved them and had compassion for them. That's our job, to spread the Word of God to the entire world.
