I could listen to Jimmy and David talk about projects for hours. Their knowledge and no-fear approach at diving into a new craft are inspiring. I binge listen/watch these two on a regular basis. Keep it up guys? Ron
Friday Morning Favorite
chasethisdude
I’ve woken up every Friday since episode 1 with a smile on my face ready to listen to these three artists hash out there ideas, plans, and knowledge together. Thanks for the dedication you’ve given to keep this show going and please keep it up. (PS...I went back and threw on episode 1 while building in the shop today and what nostalgia. If you guys read these reviews go listen to the people you were, it’s very interesting!)
Inspiring

I have been following these three guys on YouTube for years now and was never into podcasts. This is the first podcast I have listened to and I am loving every episode more than the next.
I listened to every episode in a few short months.
C Hark
This show is great. It keeps me going in the shop while giving me tips on how to become better at making things. I have listened to every episode in sequential order and have loved every minute. (except when they go all inside baseball about YouTube...but that’s what the fast forward button is for.) Jimmy always has a lot to say both hilarious and informational. In “Making It” he has the most time being a maker out of the group and is able to be sort of a go to guy. If you would like to see Jimmy get ganged up on and joked around with, you should also check out the Fitzall podcast. It’s hilarious! Be aware, it’s nowhere near as tidy as bob and David keep things on “Making It” but it’s completely worth a listen.
Bob, stop saying "thing"

Seems Bob's favorite word is "thing".... STOP IT!
My favorite maker podcast
Crashy McCrasherson III
We live in an amazing world when there are seemingly dozens of podcasts about making things. This is my favorite. I love hearing three guys with similar values but very different perspectives.
One of my favorites.
Mr Puskarich
As a fellow “maker”, these three hosts are some of my favorites. Listening to this podcast is like sitting around with your friends, enjoying your favorite beverage, and talking shop. I always look forward to the next episode. When it posts, it’s one of my first to listen to.
Unexpected joy

I haven’t ever listened to podcasts before but I started the last couple days. I personally love watching Jimmy and Bob create stuff, they’re really inspiring. I’ve had a blast listening to you guys talk about random stuff and projects. I’m a huge fan so thanks guys
Maker Faire episode 😃
mmeask
Love love love your reflections and opinions on your Maker Faire experiences. I’d love to see your ideas come to life in future fairs. If you’re ever in the South Jersey/Philly area i’d love to see one happen in this area. I’d love to be a part of a better maker moment in this area too. Great podcast and great job all around guys! 🛠✂️💗
Bob whines a lot
disse 99
Very talented individuals. jimmy is fun to listen to. Bob on the other hand whines about stress and having a successful business. It’s very annoying to listen to a man that is living his dream and still complains about how he don’t like what he do’s
One of the best Podcasts!

This is one of the best podcasts! I wish I discovered it years ago. I’m slowly getting through all the episodes.its my go to podcast now when i’m driving, in my shop, or mowing the lawn.

I have an hour ride to work and listen to this podcast. One of my favorites. Being a “maker” myself and having a side gig. It is nice listening to three of the best, knowing that we are all in this together. Also no matter what level of “maker” you are, we all have similar triumphs and defeats. It’s like a B.S. session, that you don’t have to participate in, and walk away from feeling like you have gained something. Thank You
Listened to ep. 208 and I work in production

First and foremost, I love the podcast. I look forward to it each week. This episode was especially hilarious to me, because I work in the film/video industry. Keep it up guys!
Inspirational and Useful
TurtleClef
I love this podcast. It's my new favorite thing to listen to while driving to and from civilization (I live in the middle of nowhere). I'm an artist in a bit of a rut, and have found so much inspiration by listening to these guys. I originally discovered Bob on his youtube channel, which led to David, Jimmy, and a dozen other great channels. I've binge-listened to 40 episodes (going in order) in the past two weeks, and can't get enough. BTW - My four year old daughter knows the difference between Bob's, Jimmy's, & David's voice and likes to point out when each person is talking.
A great casual hangout!

Love the show. It's like garage beers with great neighbors.
30+ audiences
xanderpascual
David. Speaking as a 30+ audience. I rarely get a chance to watch you tube on a weekend as I spend most of my time taking my kids to all their activities. Week days I get to watch after the kids have gone to bed.
Love it and they always have something interesting to talk about
dbakerko
I never miss this one. Very interesting topics on making and the business of YouTube/social media
Encouraging and entertaining
Bueller823
I was a fan and follow of Bob’s on YouTube after hearing him on the NDQ podcast. I started listening to this and became fans of David and Jimmy. This podcast has been insightful and inspiring. It makes me want to get in my basement, get out my tools, and make something. It’s also encouraging on a personal level to motivate me at my job and at home. I love hearing their thoughts and the topics covered are important. Knew it up guys! I started about episode 197 and am up to date on current podcasts. I’ve gone back and am through the first 30 or so as well. Go back and check the older ones out too. So much great stuff.
Like sitting at the Cool Kids Table
DLS2012-1
There's no better way for a 'Maker' / 'Maker - Wannabe' / 'Shop-Guy-Girl' to spend time listening to something, especially on a long drive or commute. I may be the only listener like this, but I am for the most part non-social except in environments where the conversations revolve around 'shop stuff', so being able to listen in on what The Cool Kids are talking about is really nice. I had the opportunity to meet Jimmy Diresta at a meet & greet in Zanesville and really appreciated his 'genuine-ness'. I was sitting at table shooting the breeze with some folks and someone said, 'Hey, mind if we join you guys?' - it was Jimmy Diresta AND MrPete222. I'd first come across him on TV when living in China watching re-runs of Dirty Money and Trash2Cash, then found on Youtube after moving back to the US. Genuinely a 'Nice Guy' that gets right to the point. Please keep up the good work. My only suggestion is to repeat the channel names of the folks you're watching a few times, as I almost never read the show notes, and by the time I get out of the car and on to the next thing I forget the names of channels mentioned. Thanks again for the three of you letting me vicariosly 'Sit at the Cool Kids Table'. Would definitely like to meet Bob & David too.
Awesomeness!

This podcast is a true authentic cross section of creativity. Very inspiring and I can’t thank you enough for sharing all your experiences about making and life.
Built to last
Mschmidt1477
I love this podcast because I can listen to one from 3 years ago, or a new one from last week and still take something away from each. I feel like all the questions someone has bouncing around in their head of how to get started, or how to balance life, or even how to fail(not a fail if something was learned) is covered every week. Thanks
Wonderful podcast!
Mwagner36143
These guys are some of the best makers out there and it’s great that they come together each week for a podcast. Each week they offer the audience a plethora of brainstormed ideas, tidbits about ongoing projects, and other useful tips from their personal experiences! Keep up the great work Jimmy, Bob, and David! Cheers!
Jimmy is hilarious!

Great chemistry between the three of them but Jimmy is the best.
Amazing content!!

Here’s the thing: I really love his podcast. I’ve been a listener since episode 1 and sometimes I’m cheering along others I’m screaming in frustration. It’s how discussions go. But I’m starting to worry about Bob and his chronic throat clearing. That’s what the title of this review is all about. I’m not a doctor but man if Bob were my real life friend and not just an imaginary weekly internet person I would urge that guy to get checked out. Just a thought. Again love the podcast, and I hope you google the title of this review. episode 191 I’ll be counting the urruhhahems

I downloaded stoopid Itunes again just to make getting this podcast easier.
Entertaining, Informative, Inspiring.

A Must-Listen for Makers. In my opinion this is the best maker podcast. The three hosts have backgrounds that are different enough to provide interesting perspectives on the topics discussed. The main focus is on the business of creating video DIY content but there is so much more discussed that it has a much broader appeal.

One of the best Podcasts around!! Love it!

I just want to say that if i had your expensive tools and large work shops, my projects would still look like crap. It’s all about the skill weather it comes naturally or you worked hard to get it. Thanks for letting us see them on social media.
It’s good most of the time

There are times when I want to unsubscribe because it’s a little too much inside baseball of the world of makers troubles and tribulations. I do love Jimmy’s stories and how humble he is as a maker. Dave I think sells his self too short he makes some really cool stuff and makes awesome videos but can lose his flare in the podcast. Bob is very professional with everything very clean and polish and well spoken but can be a little vanilla for my liking. All in all good stuff here
Be a Maker just by listening to this Podcast
Therandallknight1
If you’re into making things look no further. This Podcast has everything- a tough New Yorker that has mad style and skills. A thoughtful and kind hearted Italian American. Some guy from the mid-West that seems to swallow his spit between every sentence. Hear Jimmy sprinkle humor and wisdom, hear David P carefully give his opinion, hear Bob C. swallow his saliva. Great work guys keep it up!
Best making podcast by far
Steven Kronenberg
I listen to you guys every week. I had the chance to meet Jimmy and Bob on separate occasions and realized just how down to earth you guys really are. Your show is funny, entertaining, educational, and always encourages me to start my next project. Hope to make it to the “making it - 200” episode when that happens too. Atlanta?
Amazing Trio !
TimWdisappointed
I am a big advocate of the maker movement. I do not think there are 3 better people to team up to offer 3 differing perspectives on interesting topics. Bob, Dave and Jimmy have awesome personalities and are all amazing at their craft. I love this podcast.
You can't go wrong!

These are guys are entertaining as individuals on their separate youtube channels, but when they get together they are incredible!
Very well done

I’ve been binge listening to this for a few weeks now. Fantastic content - both helpful and entertaining. Thanks guys.

This is my first podcast that I have subscribed too and was referred to me by 42Fab from YouTube. Thank you guys for giving me the tools to make my channel better. R/ JK Canvas
Application for all of life

This podcast is a staple for every week. I anticipate Friday mornings when this podcast hits my playlist. Having 3 people who do “similar” work, but approaching these similar works from 3 different perspectives, 3 different ways of problem solving, and with a heart 3 times the size of any 3 men (not because of medical reasons), these men encourage each other, encourage other makers, and they inspire me.
Fantastic, well rounded show that changes from one day to the next.
Robert T w
They guys do a great job of changing up there conversations and continue to keep my attention as I listen to episode after episode.

This is a weekly show that I look forward to. Each member on this podcast are all extremely open about their lives as YouTube creators as well as offer excellent dialog on topics of making things. Whether the topic is inspiration, or overcoming stumbling blocks or giving shout outs to other creators Jimmy, Bob and David showcase their passion for making in a way that is refreshing so that I fell like I'm part of those club. These three seem so genuine and humble I throughly enjoy their podcasts and how it coincidences with their YouTube presence. The each have different strengths and approaches and I'll come away with countless moments of inspiration by following along on their maker journeys. My learnings have been anywhere from what spray paint not to use to how to let you kids join you in maker projects. These podcast covers so much and it's a true gem and I wish nothing but he best for these three.

Great Chemistry!

I’ve been listening for a few years and realized I had never written a review. This is the least I could do for a bunch of guys that take the time to keep me and the rest of the maker community inspired and motivated. These guys have progressed so much since the start of this podcast. Their bumps, leaps, and crashes are all presented in ways that let the listener understand that they are not alone. They speak about how to look past short comings and how to learn from them. So many more things I could say about how these guys brighten my week. Thank you very much for what you do!
Awesome Podcast!

Three of the best makers on YouTube, what more could you ask for! This is a great podcast not only about making, but also about life. Jimmy, Bob, and David all bring a unique point of view, all of which work very well together. So, if your looking for a podcast that will help you working in the shop, motivate you to get started, and make you laugh, then you are in the right place!
Awesome

I’ve tried to listen to other maker podcasts and this one has set the bar so high most just annoy me. Excellent chemistry between Bob, Jimmy and David.

If you're a maker this podcast is for you. Great dialog and awesome recommendations. I've learned a lot listening to these gents.
Be creative!
kikiArt1
Love the show! But I have to disagree on the topic that you can learn to be creative. That is completely wrong in my opinion as a fine artist turned Furnture maker and Maker in general. I believe one is born creative how or if applied maybe to chance. But when applied right genius is born. From your point you can learn to draw. I agree much like you can learn to write a sentence. But now write a novel or paint the Starry night. Get my point. Btw writing isn’t my strong point. My Furnture is check it out. Herlander HerlanderArt
