Love this podcast so much. The host is a gem. The podcast is weird, and it takes a little getting used to. But it works really really well!

Only complaint is the theme
I really like this podcast and it works great but I always skip the theme song because the guy who wrote it is singing SO off key that it’s painful to listen to. The music itself is great though - all he needs to do is auto-tune some of those lines and it’d be perfect. Other than that, I love the podcast and it works. I’m not sure how it works but it just does.
At first I thought it was weird
Now I wind down and fall asleep in 20 min with Scoot. Thanks for being a great night time bud through my anxiety.
Calms Restless Minds
This podcast works during the night to calm restless thoughts for sleep. But it’s also tremendously entertaining and effective against anxiety during the day. Scoots’ random and meandering train of thought is an asset for those that struggle to cope throughout the day.

Scoots is so soothing
I heard about it when Night Vale promoted it but wasn’t sure if I should try it out ‘til a year later I finally listened to an episode. This honestly has been helping me get better sleep and slowly stop my habit of burning the midnight oil. Definitely a strange solution to my insomnia.

Massive skeptic turned devout listener
I’ll make it short and sweet. Have had a history of years-long chronic insomnia to the point of delusion and hallucinations (btw, I’m was/am an exec so had/have all sorts of scheduling/profit/travel/lifestyle demands). Tried everything from Xanax to bottles of scotch/whiskey/vodka (I don’t recommend this route).
Was recommended this podcast by another exec and it took a year for me to get desperate enough to give this podcast a chance as an aid to sleep.
First night, couldn’t get over his annoying voice and nonsensical talk which lead to tangent after tangent. Kill me.
Second night, I got so annoyed and angry I slept. Don’t get too excited, I slept 2 hours.
Third night, same thing.
By the fourth night, it transitioned from annoying and nonsensical to soothing. Fell asleep after setting an hour time off twice. Slept through the night.
I am now a mega fan and am so so so appreciative of this famous person who spends hours in a studio (pre/post) babbling on at a STEADFAST PACE BY HIMSELF FOR OVER AN HOUR to help others sleep. You are an angel.
Chronic insomniac here. Sometimes the stories put me to sleep and sometimes it just relieves some of the anxiety I feel when I am not sleeping. Scooter is a benevolent distraction. Thank you Scoots. The long dark nights of tossing and turning are not as daunting as they used to be.

Sleeping with the enemy
Dear Scooter, I recently left a domestic violence marriage. However, my abusive husband still lives only a short distance away. I hadn’t slept in months always afraid he may be pulling up in my driveway at all hours of the night to harass me and make me more fearful. Though the harassment subsided, when night Fell I was still somewhat afraid. Then, I found your podcast and it was just what I needed! Now at night when I go to bed I listen to you instead of what’s racing through my head and within a matter of minutes Im fast sleep! You are a lifesaver! I don’t know how else to say it. Thank you and may life always bring good things your way.
PS. Do you think you will ever add more episodes past 2017?
ads make this inconsistent
a really great way to fall asleep and then consistently wake up throughout the episode. interspersed ads make this an ineffective app to use for a sleep tape.

Best “Bore-Friend” Ever
I am a college student far away from home. Alaina, I was very recently diagnosed with ADHD, and my medication definitely does not help with my insomnia lol. So I get really sad and lonely at night, but I can’t go to sleep. That is, until I play this podcast. I’ve been listening for about a week now, and I can even take naps. Thank you, Scooter. I can confidently say...
...that this is an effective podcast, but I can’t tell you why. Because I have no idea what scooter is saying. Because I am always asleep as soon as he starts talking. It’s mysterious.
After years of medicated sleep—and the not-true rest it brings—SWM lulls me off to dreamland no matter what is keeping me awake. I think it’s been three years now.
At first it was hard to let go and let Scooter. Especially after trying so hard to get in the zone with hypnotherapy pods. There is no zone to get into. Just listen. Try a few different topics. Some are more lulling for me. An episode about the cats of Westeros, one describing a gorgeous board game, and a few of the TNG episodes really do it for me. Sometimes the timbre or cadence of his voice just isn’t right. Switch episodes. Hey, there are over 800! Try a few. It’s brilliant.
After a few episodes I can only make it through the introduction. Perfect!
I have a really tough time letting myself relax. Hearing Scoot say every night that I deserve a goodnights sleep is the most comforting thing in the world, and I love his sweet non-threatening company. Thank you for reminding me that it is okay to rest.

I fall asleep in minutes
I’m a start-up business owner who battled insomnia for a number of months, maybe longer. This podcast has become my go-to to help me fall asleep. It took a few listens but now, I’m asleep before the 30 minute timer runs our. I no longer dread trying to sleep. I’m eternally grateful.
Best way to sleep
I have anxiety and over think a lot most the nights don’t sleep till 3 or 4 in the morning I have absolutely fell in love with this nothing worked for me before this now it’s apart of my every night routine for the past month thank you so much!!!

Long time listener
I’ve been listening to the podcast since early 2017. I’ve always had problems sleeping, but this podcast has made going to sleep a lot easier. Usually I go to sleep before the end of one episode, but if I can’t go to sleep it’s nice having something to listen to throughout the night. I’d love to be a Patreon at some point, but until then this review will have to do. Thanks Scoots.
I really loved their podcast on skin care because I felt that I was multitasking with sleeping and learning. I’m always trying to maximize efficiency so I’m usually multitasking. I also like the other silly stories. It helps me take my mind off of things. :)

I honestly do not know what this podcast is about, it helps me fall asleep pretty quick. I only use it when i am having sleeping troubles, mostly while traveling.
Trying to get back to sleep after feeding a newborn 2-3 times a night is difficult. I started turning this on as soon as my head hit the pillow. It has optimized my sleep schedule and helped me get back to sleep as quickly as possible. I listen to it every single night and always fall asleep during the intro. THANK YOU!!

Great for new moms!
I am a new mom. I listen all night. I love this podcast because it helps me fall asleep quickly. It also keeps me mildly entertained every two hours when I wake up to feed my newborn. After feeding him, I am able to go right back to sleep. It makes the night feedings a little less difficult.
Some of the best sleep
I will say this honestly, I have never listen to a full episode. I always end up falling asleep 15 minutes in. His voice is so calming and the stories just take you into a new world of relaxation. Really helpful when going to sleep. 10/10 would recommend

It Really Works
I ALWAYS need talk to get to sleep; this is best because it is the complete opposite of content that engages my brain, which is why “Sleep with Me” works extremely well, especially when I have racing thoughts, which is more often than not.
Right to bed
I’ve listened to so many of these podcasts and I have no idea what has been said in any of them. I fall asleep so quickly. Necessary each night.
“Listened” to about 10 episodes so far. Don’t remember a single thing he said in any of them. 11/10 will keep listening every night.
wouldn't have believed how good
this podcast is amazing. i normally can't fall asleep if there's anything going on, TV or other people, so i didn't think a podcat would help my insomnia. IT DOES. something about this guy's voice... i feel bad for his friends and family cause they must always be dozing off around him. i generally skip ahead about 15 minutes past the intro, and set a sleep timer on my phone for about 45 minutes. it's perfect. THANK YOU!!!
Best sleeping podcast I’ve come across.
scoot’s voice is so calming. A creaky dulcet tone that puts me to sleep. I await the day where I’ll be able to support Sleep With Me financially, but until then, I know I’ll sleep soundly with the soothing of Scooter’s pleasantly boring tales. A wholesome podcast that gives me so much more than I realize, even to this day. ❤️

Honestly obsessed with this podcast. I always have trouble falling asleep at night and especially staying asleep. Now I listen to sleep with me every night before bed and queue up some more episodes and it really does help me stay awake. I’m no longer waking up for an hour or two in the middle of the night and I feel well rested when I wake up. I can’t explain how this works so well but it does!!
