DHI Special – Hollywoodland Earlier this week, the DHI podcast received its one millionth download.  It clicked over as I was recording an episode for our Bandcamp subscription site.  It’s the last in a series on unbuilt lands once considered for the acreage behind Main Street.  To celebrate, I’m going to put that episode up on the main iTunes feed for a few days.  Although it finishes off a long series explored on Bandcamp, most elements in it are stand alone sequences.  Its topic is the unbuilt Hollywoodland in California, but outside of this, the episode covers some important elements of Disney’s efforts in the 1990s--elements that haven’t yet been explored much in print.  If you enjoy our podcast—these extended explorations into the life of Walt Disney and the history of the Disney Studio—please support us by subscribing over on Bandcamp.  You can put in any amount you like, starting at $3.50.  In return, you’ll find podcast episodes and full series not available on iTunes.  The DHI Bandcamp subscriptions are not a way to make money—but to bring this podcast up to the point where it simply breaks even and covers its own costs.  You can contact me through my personal website at www.toddjamespierce.com
