“I ain’t got time to bleed.” One of the most tough guy quotes ever uttered in movie history. Being the very embodiment of machismo throughout the film Predator Blain gave everyone a good chuckle, but what does digging in like an Alabama tick have to do with anything? Well, on this very special episode of The Malliard Report Jim welcomes the one and only Jesse Ventura to the show. The former Navy Seal, WWE Hall of Famer, Journalist, Author, State Governor, and possible presidential candidate, gives one incredible interview.
“Jesse Ventura is an American media personality, actor, author, retired professional wrestler, and former politician who served as the Mayor of Brooklyn Park from 1993 to 1995 and as the 38th Governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003. He was the first and only candidate of the Reform Party to win a major government position, but later joined the Green Party of the United States.
Ventura was a member of the U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team during the Vietnam War. After leaving the military, he embarked on a professional wrestling career from 1975 to 1986, taking the ring name Jesse "The Body" Ventura. He had a long tenure in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as a performer and color commentator, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2004. In addition to wrestling, Ventura pursued an acting career, appearing in films such as Predator and The Running Man.
Ventura first entered politics in 1991 when he was elected mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, a position he held until 1995. Three years later, Ventura was the Reform Party candidate in the Minnesota gubernatorial election of 1998, running a low-budget campaign centered on grassroots events and unusual ads that urged citizens not to "vote for politics as usual". Ventura's campaign was unexpectedly successful, with him narrowly defeating both the Democratic and Republican candidates. The highest elected official to ever win an election on a Reform Party ticket, Ventura left the Reform Party a year after taking office amid internal fights for control over the party.
As governor, Ventura oversaw reforms of Minnesota's property tax as well as the state's first sales tax rebate. Other initiatives taken under Ventura included construction of the METRO Blue Line light rail in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, and cuts in income taxes. Ventura left office in 2003, deciding not to run for re-election. After leaving office, Ventura became a visiting fellow at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government in 2004. He has since also hosted a number of television shows and has written several political books. Ventura remains politically active and currently hosts a show on Ora TV and on RT America called Off the Grid. As of September 2017, Ventura is hosting a variety news show on RT called The World According to Jesse. Ventura has repeatedly floated running for President of the United States on a Green Party ticket.”
Jesse gives his fantastic insight to an number of varying hot topics from his multi-faceted approach in a manner that is incredibly relatable. Jesse also discusses what a potential presidential bid may look like, who his running mates could possibly be, and what his platform may look like. We could only hope that we would be so lucky to have a candidate with actual common sense. We can only wait and see right? You can catch Jesse on his show on RT and remember for all things Malliard, head over to malliard.com or reach out through most social media platforms.
A collapsing economy, crippling student load debts, a job market where “entry level” requires six years’ experience, and the idea of retirement is non-existent, it is no wonder that mental health among millennials is a growing concern. Issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and many others are becoming more and more common throughout the current generation. While this is part due to better identification and diagnosis as well as more aptness to discussing when one has an issue, the rising trend should still be a concern. While the causes can stem from a multitude of sources (everything from barrages of technology, to unfortunately war cause PTSD) one thing is for certain is that awareness needs to be growing just as quickly as is the symptoms themselves.
This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is a long time favorite, and now near regular on the show, but comes with a little different approach to what she wants to discuss. Dr. Rebecca Housel, primarily known for her deep studies on popular culture and how it plays into our everyday lives (even more than we realize) is also a huge advocate for mental health awareness. This week she turns her focus onto this growing movement of awareness that we all need to be paying attention to.
Dr. Rebecca Housel, The Pop Culture Professor, is a New York Times bestselling author and editor. Housel was on tour with Comic-Con for three years as MC and performed over 200 live interviews with Hollywood icons. Housel’s column on resilience for Psychology Today, “Survive Anything,” is based on her forthcoming book of the same name; she is also an expert contributor on the subject for mental health websites, 7Cups.com, and, allicantellyou.com. Housel is the sex and relationship expert for the Mental Health for Millennials book series and is the Editor of Mental Health for Millennials III: On Happiness, being released on World Mental Health Day, October 10th (Book Hub Publishing). RebeccaHousel.com has over 3-million readers from 150 countries
This is another great episode, Dr. Housel always makes for an interesting show, but it certainly takes a turn from the normal programming here on The Malliard Report. Dr. Housel stresses the importance of mental health and that we all should be aware for ourselves and those around us. We cannot express enough that you should never feel embarrassed or that you can’t reach out for help. There are always resources available and many people willing to provide them. You can keep up with all of Dr. Housel’s work at rebeccahousel.com or through most social media platforms. We have all been there. Perusing the aisles of our grocery store, glance down at our list and see olive oil. We make a turn past the potted meat, take an extra pass by the bakery again (those salted caramel double chocolate brownies keep calling to you) and then there we are face to face with rows and rows of olive oil. Extra virgin, cold-pressed, Spain, Italy, California, six dollars or forty dollars? What’s the difference between the oil here or that fancy specialty oil store down the street? It’s just olive oil, right? Why am I having an existential crisis in the middle of the frozen foods? Where are my salted caramel double chocolate brownies?
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a very special guest; renowned writer and foodie Larry Olmsted to the show to cover why there are so many options to things like olive oil, cuts of beef, and so many other foods. Larry Olmsted is known for his award-winning book (among many other awesome things) Real Food Fake Food that covers the swindle that happens to us almost every day in grocery stores and restaurants across the nation.
“Larry Olmsted is an award-winning journalist and author who has written several thousand articles for major newspapers and magazines worldwide over the past 20-plus years. He has been a print columnist for two of America’s three national newspapers, written for numerous specialized culinary publications, currently writes one of the most popular columns for Forbes online and was named one of the ‘10 Most Extreme U.S. Journalists.”
In Larry’s most recent book “Real Food, Fake Food brings readers into the unregulated food industry, revealing the shocking deception that extends from high-end foods like olive oil, wine, and Kobe beef to everyday staples such as coffee, honey, juice, and cheese. It’s a massive bait and switch where counterfeiting is rampant and where the consumer ultimately pays the price. Restaurants and retailers are equally suspect.”
Larry gives a ton of great insight on this episode and really shines some light onto a topic that most of us have no clue on. There is so much that we are missing out on in our shopping habits, and Larry pulls the veil back. You can head over to Larry’s website realfoodfakefood.com where you read more about his work, order his book, and much more. You can also follow Larry on Twitter @TravelFoodGuy. With the most recent tragic events that transpired in Ohio and Texas and with the new school year already kicking off for some and just around the corner for others, it is very understandable that there is a bit of an air of fear circling people currently. We all prioritize the safety of our children and selves over anything else, but it can be difficult at times to understand exactly how we can do it. What is the answer? Take up personal arms? More security in locations where people gather? Increased surveillance state? This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is not only a returning favorite, but an expert in the aforementioned field. The Safety Doc himself, Dr. David Perrodin is back to talk about current trends in the industry, the recent string of violence, and simple ways you can protect yourself.
“Dr. David Perrodin separates empirical evidence from mainstream hysteria in response to local and global safety issues. His work centers bullying, harassment and threat input systems that help promote safe environments for the 55 million students that attend school in America each day! Dr. Perrodin's incorporates perspectives from several industries to best inform school safety practices. As an expert in safety preparedness and response, Dr. Perrodin has presented on public television, in school districts and at school safety conferences. He has access to the top safety specialists in the industry and works collaboratively with this talented network to bring unparalleled services to clients. In 2016, he partnered with Pulitzer Prize winning author and producer David Obst to write and direct a script involving an intruder in an elementary school setting.”
Dr. Perrodin’s most recent book “School of Errors establishes another voice in the discussion of how to promote safe schools. It challenges the unchecked expansion of school fortification and hyper-realistic intruder drills and questions the realized benefit of inter-agency collaboration during a sentinel event. This book offers an alternative to traumatizing simulations by providing clear options for improving school safety by the empirically-proven effective measures of instructing situational awareness and teaching students to identify and report threats of harm to self or others. School of Errors restores the scientific method to school safety and clears a path through the media rhetoric fogging this vital topic.”
One of the biggest failures on people’s part that is seen on a regular basis is that of maintaining situational awareness. We are too focused on our devices that often we have no idea of what is going on in our surroundings. Whenever you go into a place (even if you have been there a hundred times before) take a look around. Note the exits, paths leading to, any potential cover and concealment locations and the quickest way to those if needed. There is no need to be hyper observant on the verge of paranoia, just keep aware of what is going on. Lastly, trust your gut. If something feels off or not right. Don’t ignore it.
This is a great episode, and Dr. Perrodin is a wealth of knowledge. You can head over to his website safetyphd.com where you can order his latest book “School of Errors” as well as catch up on his latest seminars. For all things, Malliard makes sure to head over to malliard.com or connect through social media @Malliard.
One once more we have an interesting show for us this week! And as had been said in the last several weeks, Jim took a moment to tell us about our special guest that’s coming up. David Perrodin, of “School of Errors: Rethinking School Safety in America” will still be coming on August 6th, so be sure to stick around and check that out!
With that said, we jump into a very special Malliard Report this week! As some of you may be aware, there wasn’t a special guest that was announced – and with good reason! This week, our host Jim instead wanted to kick back a little bit, talk with the Duck Pond, and talk about current events that are on the news, and speak with audience members who were listening in. After giving out the number to call him, he pulled up the news and started to talk about what was going on in the world at large. Jim gave his opinions, which all listeners should tune in to hear, but the real meat of the show came soon.
Shortly after talking about some going on in the world, our first caller of the evening tuned in to speak – and who better than long-time listener and friend of the show Dave to be the first to speak with our host!
Turning away from the news, the discussion soon took a dip towards what Dave had been up to and the discussion on researching and reporting on developmental technologies that are all space-based. Talking with such mega-corporations such as Boeing, and Space X among others; However, what really caught Dave’s attention during all of his own reporting and findings was that each of these companies had asked him to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement in relation to what he had talked about when it came to these space-based technologies.
Of course, Dave isn’t at liberty to say WHAT he talked about, having signed them and all and thought that it might have been weird to suddenly be asked to sign them when he wasn’t before. Jim, of course, had a feeling that it might have been related to all of the Area 51 Raid memes that are currently going on with the internet and surmised that maybe this was just a way for these businesses to cover their assets in case the meme became real.
Which Dave agreed with – which ended up leading to an interesting discussion about Area 51 in general that all fans of the Malliard Report should check out if they hadn’t already listened to when the show aired, because it does get really interesting.
First off; As Jim and Dave both explained during the entire discussion: DO NOT, under any circumstance, actually storm Area 51 and do not step foot on the Government Base. Instead, what they suggested – which helps out more people in the long run – was to support the Area 51 cottage industry. To go to stores that sell alien Merchandise, support artists, podcasters, writers, movies, and more that is built up around the Area 51 phenomena. That if you have to go, to have fun and support one another but to NOT go onto the government base.
Because, as Dave and Jim explain, they’ve both been to the area before to check it out as curiosity seekers and they take their security there seriously. In a chilling description of events, Dave shares his time on stepping foot onto the grounds and being watched by government agencies.
Soon though, Dave had to leave the call, and once more Jim invited any listener to call in and talk with him on the Malliard Report this week. Soon though, he had his second caller for the evening and who better to come and talk than another longtime fan, and friend of the show, Bryan!
We’re back once again with another excellent week on The Malliard Report, and just like last time we’ve got a special guest with us that sits down with our host, Jim Malliard, to top about a host of different topics that ranges from the interesting, to the political, and to the exciting. Not one second of this week’s talk is mundane, so be sure to strap yourself in for a very special show.
However, before the show properly begins Jim Malliard took time to remind everyone who tuned into the show that “School of Errors: Rethinking School Safety in America” is still set to be released here shortly, and that on August 6th Author David P. Perrodin will be the Reports special guest. Any fans of the show with children ready to return to school should definitely tune in for an awesome show.
Now, onto this week’s show.
Our special guest this week is none other than Dixie Cryptids own Cameron Buckner, who took time away from his busy schedule to come and sit with Jim to talk about his YouTube channel, Movies, Stories, and other things. Though we’re getting ahead of ourselves here!
The first thing that Jim and Cameron Buckner talked about was how Cameron got his start – with our guest revealing that it was his Wife who suggested to him to start the YouTube channel as a way to tell the type of stories that Cameron wanted to tell, and a way to play around with YouTube and gain an audience. Naturally, as Cameron spoke, he didn’t expect it to go anywhere until it eventually did with an audience and attention.
As Jim Malliard explained, there’s a lot about Dixie Cryptid that draws in a lot of people to the show too, who enjoy tuning in (which links will be provided at the end). Not only does the YouTube channel host stories about Cryptid encounters, with such creatures as Bigfoot, Dogmen Aliens and other such beings who might-or-might-not exist, but the YouTube channel also has stories about these type of creatures too. From historical anecdotes from people who lived in the area before our time in ages past, to even local legends and stories that surround the area that they supposedly traverse.
If you’re the type of person who enjoys sitting around a campfire late at night and telling stories, as Cameron explains, then there’s a little bit of everything for you at Dixie Cryptid. Not only does Cameron Buckner enjoy sharing stories of these encounters by other people, but he also has a flair for the fictional as explains how some of the stories within Dixie Cryptid shouldn’t be taken at absolute face value as the reality of there being Bigfoot or other Cryptids, since some of the stories are also works of fiction that he himself has written to entertain fans and newcomers alike.
Shortly after explaining what his YouTube Channel is all about, and what it is about Dixie Cryptid that Cameron Buckner enjoys so much, the discussion soon segued into what sort of Cryptids that both our guest and host would like to see if they had a chance to encounter one.
Our guest answers first on which sort of Cryptids that he’d like to see first, which is an exciting answer that all fans of the show tuning in – first time watching or not – should stick around to listen to. As Cameron Buckner explained, he might be the host of a show that talks about Cryptid Encounters, but he’s a skeptic deep down inside who always is on the “maybe” side of things, so to encounter one would be a definite sure fire way for him to know for sure that Cryptids do in fact exist.
Once more we find ourselves tuning in to the Malliard Report, and this week is as entertaining as all the previous ones. Before the show begins, however, Jim stops for a moment to give us a sneak preview of a future show that he’ll be having with Writer David Perrodin, author of the book “School of Errors: Rethinking School Safety in America” which, as the title suggests, is all about re-thinking school safety.
However, the crux of the interview went amazingly well from there as we of course tuned in to hear him speak with our scheduled guest this week: Actor, Director, Radio Host, Sportsman, and award winner Kevin D. Benton.
The first area of topic that Jim touched on with Kevin Benton was how he got started on his path to being as varied and talented as he was in Sports, Acting, and Directing. The first part of his long, interesting starting off how he got his start in sports, but moved soon on over to acting with a fateful job that proved to him how much he enjoyed the gig, and how much fun acting for other people could be – especially if it elicited some sort of response from them through his sheer acting ability alone.
Of course, what story of personal growth and development wouldn’t be complete with discussing the interesting people he’s met all along the way, including some A-list celebrities that he had the fortune (and pleasure) of working alongside early on his career before he got to the part of his life that he’s at now.
Yet, as Kevin Benton describes soon after; it’s not all fun and games. As said, anything worth doing is worth putting your all into it, and Jim and Kevin soon move on from the topic of the joy of acting on towards the grind that comes with it – describing how you always have to be grinding away at your job. Grinding to meet new people and connect while developing your own network, grinding to do your job and do it well, and grinding to put your hustle on and show that you’re worth working with and improving yourself at your craft.
In other words, Jim and Kevin Benton both know the grind, and what it takes to get your name out there as they both agree on that. Of course, as Kevin Benton said: “If you enjoy what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” which goes to show that the 20 projects that he’s got currently going on this year alone is well worth his time and effort. Especially considering Kevin Benton is a Multi Award-Winning star who earned his fame through hard work and dedication.
Of course, as we soon find out afterward, Kevin Benton isn’t JUST a gifted Sportsman and a Gifted actor, but a writer as well as he reveals to Jim and the audience that he’s currently sitting down and working hard on a screenplay that he hopes will do very well: A screenplay that all fans and listeners to the Mallard Report should listen in on to get a sneak peek at what’s to come – especially if they’re fans of Kevin Benton’s work.
This interview though has something for everyone while. While the crux of the Interview has been centered on Kevin Benton’s life as an actor, he did come from a sports background and at the near halfway point of the hour-long interview Jim and Kevin move on from acting in general, to sports in general, showing that the guest has a lot of knowledge about the field. What follows soon covers a wide range of topics that covers the NBA in general to how the future dynasties will be set up (and the future of the Lakers in dominating the field) to LeBron James and how his career is progressing to other topics that re...
Agent 355. One of the most curious, and yet underappreciated and studied stories from the American Revolution. Agent 355 was a code name/designator for a very elusive female spy that tied to the Culper Ring of spies that was led by Benjamin Tallmadge, and appointed by George Washington himself. Agent 355 was one the more critical elements to the Culper Spy Ring, yet we still know next to nothing about her. Some even say that she was not one person in particular but rather that the term “Agent 355” simply meant there was a woman that had useful information. This theory seems to be disappearing as there are several more credible stories that point to several possibilities to this individual.
While Agent 355 is still a mystery there are several facts that are quite clear. She did in fact work with the Patriots during the war as a spy and that she was recruited into the Culper Spy Ring by Abraham Woodhull. Various deciphered codes suggest that Agent 355 was a woman with a “degree of prominence” and that she more than likely was living in New York City at the time. She frequently made contact with Major John Andre and Benedict Arnold throughout her “career.” Some theorize that it was Anna Strong who was Woodhull’s neighbor at the time or that it could have possible been Robert Townsend’s common law wife by various stories claiming that he (Townsend) was “in love with Agent 355.” There are several other potential claims to the true identity of Agent 355, but for now she continues to hide behind a vail of secrecy…or does she? Enter this week’s guest on The Malliard Report, Travel Channel host, history fan, and all-around great guy, Scott Wolter.
Scott Wolter is a forensic geologist and television host. He is known best as the host of the series “America Unearthed.” Wolter is based out of Minnesota, where he is the founder and president of American Petrographic Services and the inventor of Archaeopetrography (a process used to date and understand the origins of inscribed stone artifacts). In addition to investigating and dating ancient artifacts, Wolter was involved in analyzing fire damage to the concrete at the Pentagon after the September 11th terrorist attacks and has even helped the Las Vegas police investigate a homicide where a victim was found buried in concrete. His first television appearance was as a Kensington rune stone expert on the documentary “Holy Grail in America,” which indirectly resulted in Wolter hosting “America Unearthed.” Wolter is also the author of several books on geology, the Knights Templar and theories related to pre-Columbian contact.
On this episode Scott shares his thoughts and opinions on the Culper Spy Ring, possible candidates as to whom the actual Agent 355 is, life in front of the camera and his work for The Travel Channel, and so much more. Scott has become a regular on the show and for good reason. His insight is top notch, and he brings a wealth of information to the discussion. We as a people are a unique group. That may seem like an incredibly blanketing statement of generality,
but it is true. We all have different callings, passions, things that drive us. Our goals and ambitions may
vary entirely from someone that we feel is one of our closest confidants. Our talents are showcase of
what is available from humankind, and the ability to make amazing somethings out of seeming nothings
is an element to truly behold. But there is one commonality among all of us that we do share. We are all
energy. Some may instinctively recoil at a statement such as this, but more and more it is shown that the
entire universe is energy, so what makes us any different?
Being able to interact with energy rather than simply exist within it is something that manifests itself in
many differing ways. One such is that of mediumship. Mediumship comes in many different forms and
fashions but, in an over arching statement, they (mediums) are able to connect with varying energies
and facilitate a flow of communication. This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is one such individual.
(among other things like a boxing and MMA instructor!) This week to the show Jim welcomes Elena
Servidio -Schwinn to discuss her work as a medium, an instructor, and general overall life as an empath.
“Elena Servidio -Schwinn a Modern-Day Muse is a Divine Anointed Ambassador who works to bring
knowledge, inspiration, messages, and products from the higher realms. She is an intuitive counselor and
crossroads healer who works one on one with people by using her gifts and abilities to inspire, assist and
guide them to their own brilliance and towards their own personal journey towards ascension, and
fulfilling their lifes purpose and helping them attain true abundance. Elena works speaking with leaders
and masters of many modalities, religions, etc....about the shift and sharing personal experiences during
these transitioning times.”
Elena is a fantastic guest and is certainly doing a great thing. Her passion for what she does and believes
in comes through in the way that one can’t help but stop and take notice. You can visit Elena’s website

The spirit world speaks. It speaks to us any many different ways for many different people. For some it is through physical touch, others through digital mediums (spirit boxes, EVPs, and countless others), and some receive communication through intuitive means. Whether this is through images, direct messages, or even things like automatic writing, this is something that only a small number of people can truly say that they experience. Some may argue that anyone can tap into this ability, but most believe that this is a gift that people are born with. This week’s guest is no stranger to both The Malliard Report or spirit communication. If you have listened to The Malliard Report for some time, the name Barry Strohm will certainly ring a familiar bell.
Barry graces The Malliard Report once again, and this time he is not afraid to overturn the proverbial apple cart with his latest of spirit connections. In some of his most recent channelings, Barry has connected with some of the largest names in the religious domain. Within these channelings and connections, Barry has had tremendous information passed onto him in addition to given abilities that even surprised him.
In addition to his connecting with what can be only described as the divine, Barry has also made contact with entities outside of our stellar neighborhood. Barry shares his story about connecting with an extraterrestrial being and how they too share a common consciousness in the universe. (The idea that Earth and human beings in general are what we consider the “wrong side of the tracks” in our terms is becoming more and more believable every day.) Barry also has plans on connecting with some of the biggest names that were taken too early from us; Jack Kennedy (arguably one of the best Presidents ever) and the one and only, king of swinging hips, jailhouse blues and suede shoes, Elvis.
You can reach out to Barry and follow all of his latest adventures into the spiritual realm through his website spiritspredict.com. You can purchase one of his many books through his website and other major online retailers, and he has his own YouTube channel that highlights his sessions. It would probably be quite safe to say that for the majority of us, our dealings with courtroom situations is mostly made up of that of which we see on TV. Maybe there are a few of us that have been summoned to jury duty, but having to really deal with the courts and legal settings is something very different. For those that have to be in these types of situations, often, they do not know how to go about it in a manner that will be best for their interest. There are so many different variables that can drastically sway a situation that the common person probably has no clue about. Did you know you can decide on the judge you want for the case? This week on The Malliard Report, Jim’s guest is an expert in this field and has made it his goal to better equip the common people for these often stressful and confusing situations. Judge Herb Dodell has served more than fifty years as both a lawyer and judge in the American legal system and has recently written the book From the Trench to the Bench – Navigating The Legal System and Finding Your Spiritual Path Along The Way. Basing upon the principles of Universal Law his book aims to “…help you learn to turn an unfortunate situation into an opportunity for personal growth.”
The reasoning behind the writing of his book is certainly noteworthy. The legal system is incredibly confusing, and not intended to benefit the common individual. Herb sets out to combat these anxieties by equipping the everyday person with some of the best advice that he has garnered over his years as a legal servant. His description for his reasoning behind the book explains it best: “… Most people know little about how the legal system really works. When exposed to it, they are faced with anxiety over what to do and fearful about the uncertainty over what to expect, how to get the right lawyer, their exposure and the expense. What is likely to happen? This is an emotional time. Knowing what to expect and how to deal with it is reassuring. For some, they just want to learn about the legal system. The book provides information for them. For those caught up in the legal system or who are about to get caught up in it, whether it is small claims court, restraining orders, general litigation, an eviction or a criminal matter, my intention is to give them practical guidelines from someone who has been there from the day-to-day battles to the perspective of the judge. What can they anticipate? What should they do? How should they deal with it? This book will tell them what they need to know so that they can navigate the legal system and make better choices.”
Herb shines a lot of light onto a topic that really hasn’t been covered here on The Malliard Report, but it certainly is incredibly interesting to the very end. Literally. Interview time ran out and the surface was barely scratched. You can find Herb’s book on any of the major online retailers, and it is available through his website where you can also listen to his podcast at judgeherbdodell.us You can also reach out to him through Twitter @JudgeHerbDodell. For all things Malliard head over to malliard.com and feel free to connect through social media as well.
What makes a leader a leader? What defines a leader? We all have someone within our lives that have certainly have made an impact and shown us how to blaze forward on a path, but what defined the characteristics of that individual? Just as we have different ideas, the definition itself may vary as well. One that is probably one of the most prevalent could very well be the what the US Military uses to define their leaders: “Military leadership is the process of influencing others to accomplish the mission by providing purpose, direction, and motivation. The command is the authority a person in the military service lawfully exercises over subordinates by virtue of his rank and assignment or position.”
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Brent N. Cann of IMPACT Consulting and Training. Brent and his team (Brent is fantastic but Eagle truly is the most valuable member of their team) are in the business of pushing people forward to become some of the most efficient forms of themselves. Or as they put it “…centered around building individuals, teams, and organizations. We do not train just for the sake of training, but rather we train to provide you, your organization, or community growth and value creation. We want anyone who attends one of our courses to walk away with a better understanding of who they are, or what the company they work for truly represents and know that it will enhance performance in whatever your personal or professional endeavors may lead you, or simply prepare you to take on whatever everyday life throws at you. In an average course you will realize your limitations are much more than you ever imagined. In fact, it may be the first time you really meet yourself. We do not train to the “lowest common denominator” but rather push the limits of individuals and groups knowing they will step up and perform to levels never imagined…”
Brent N. Cann is a managing partner and self-proclaimed “Chief Trouble Maker” of IMPACT consulting. This week on The Malliard Report we have hit another milestone. This show marks the eighth anniversary of the show, and what better guest to have than a longtime friend, Dave Considine. Dave joins on this marked occasion to discuss his history and passion for the paranormal, his relationship with Ed and Lorraine Warren, and to cover some of the strange and unusual things that we are seeing today. So sit back and enjoy this marker we have planted in the weird journey that we are on.
“Dave Considine is one of North America's few lay religious demonologists that is sanctioned by Traditionalist Catholic Churches. In his twenty-six-year career, he has handled thousands of cases along with his team involving psychic phenomena, historic hauntings, human hauntings, elemental hauntings, poltergeists, demonic infestations, possession and exorcism, the occult, UFOs, missing time, preternatural physical / non-physical entity encounters, abductions and missing people, human / animal mutilations, governmental & religious cover-ups.”
Dave is also known for his relationship and work with the renowned Ed and Lorraine Warren. With her recent passing, interest in their work has recently seen a resurgence, but to say that Ed and Lorraine were trailblazers in the paranormal field would be an absolute understatement. “In 1952, the Warrens founded the New England Society for Psychic Research, the oldest ghost hunting group in New England. They authored numerous books about the paranormal and about their private investigations into various reports of paranormal activity. They claimed to have investigated over 10,000 cases during their career. The Warrens were among the very first investigators in the controversial Amityville haunting. According to the Warrens, the N.E.S.P.R. uses a variety of individuals, including medical doctors, researchers, police officers, nurses, college students, and members of the clergy in its investigations. Stories of ghost hauntings popularized by the Warrens have been adapted as or have indirectly inspired dozens of films, television series and documentaries, including 17 films in the Amityville Horror series and five films in The Conjuring Universe with two more yet to be released.”
Dave also discusses crop circles, paranormal television personalities, the MIB, black-eyed children, Squatches, his first paranormal encounter, missing time, and so much more. This is a great episode and really does hold on until the very ends, where so much is still left to be discussed. Guess we’ll just have to bring him back then. “Through work at SRI International and other laboratories, a number of individuals have demonstrated an apparent ability to accurately perceive information, which is inaccessible through the "conventional" senses and to convey their impressions in words and symbols. At times these individuals can apparently describe events, places, people, objects, and feelings with very high quality. At SRI, the particular ability to provide detailed descriptive information has been termed remote viewing (RV). Although latent ability and motivation undoubtedly play a significant role, some accomplished remote viewers have claimed that this ability can be taught and learned to varying degrees. In FY 1986, SRI awarded a subcontract to Consultants International (CI) to assemble a detailed report of subjective experience that might lead to a testable RV training methodology. CI was selected because of the long and successful remote viewing experience of its founder, Mr. Gary Langford.”
So many of the outside or “fringe” concepts that we know sit just on the precipice of mainstream science and understanding, but often kept out for the negative stigma often associated with believing in such. However, the situation certainly takes a different element when the American government and intelligence agencies make a vested interest in the subject matter. Such is the case for remote viewing. The above quote is taken from declassified documents from CIA experiments during such operations as Project Stargate, Gondola Wish, Sun Streak, and several others. Remote Viewing while often criticized by mainstream science obviously holds some merit for the government to put so much effort into researching, and today’s guest on The Malliard Report is an expert within this field. This week Jim welcomes John Vivanco to the show.
John is part of a team of remote viewers and head of the Right Hemispheric project; a working think tank of professional remote viewers. John started remote viewing shortly after it became declassified in 1995. From there he became a professional Remote Viewer, working in a think tank called TDS, and later co-running it while living in a Zen Center. Through the years, he has worked with clients in the computer industry to the financial industry, as well as counter-terror with the FBI and other government agencies. Part of one of the only successful civilian Remote Viewing think tanks since the declassification in 1995 until they were forced to close their doors. He now he writes books, hosts events, and maintains a VERY busy YouTube channel on the subject. The blog he maintains on his website righthemispheric.com shares his stories with some of the most interesting beings that exist outside our scope and dimension. Definitely a great read.
You can keep up with everything that John Vivanco is working on through his website righthemispheric.com or on his YouTube channel (right hemispheric) and his books can be purchased through most major online retailers. You can connect within him on Facebook book, but John admittedly doesn’t use it a whole lot. Originally airing On September 8, 1966, the television show Star Trek was supposed to follow the crew of the USS Enterprise on its five-year mission “…to boldly go where no man has gone before…” led by the one and only Capt. James T Kirk. Unfortunately, after just three short seasons NBC nixed the show in the summer of 1969 (don’t start singing) despite having won several Hugo awards and numerous petitions from fans across the country. The many adventures of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and the rest of the crew would briefly be resurrected through an animated series that ran for two seasons in 1973 and 1974, however, this was admonished by show creator Gene Roddenberry calling it “non-canon” and did his best to disassociate himself with that particular series. It would take nearly a decade for the people to finally have their thirst for the final frontier quenched when Star Trek The Motion Picture was released December of 1979. But all was not well with Trekkies. The story picked up after the crew of the Enterprise had all gone their separate ways, leaving a huge hole in time between when the series was cut, and when the movie picks up…enter today’s guests on The Malliard Report.
This week on The Malliard Report you get a two-for for interview guests. For this episode, Jim Welcomes Vic Mignogna and Marc Cushman to the show to discuss their internet series phenom Star Trek Continues and the wave of success that has followed one of the most impressive fan-funded programs to date. Based around the missing timeline between the ending of the original NBC version and the motion picture Continues follows Kirk and his crew through the ending of the five-year mission of Enterprise. Achieving critical acclaim and even being deemed “canon” from the Roddenberry estate, Continues does an incredible job at recreating the original legend that was Star Trek. Vic and Marc certainly share their love and passion for the show and it really does shine through.
“Victor Mignogna is an American actor and musician known for his voice-over work in the English dubs of Japanese anime shows, the most notable being Edward Elric from the Fullmetal Alchemist series, for which he earned the American Anime Award for Best Actor in 2007. Other notable animation roles include Broly from the Dragon Ball films, Tamaki Suoh in Ouran High School Host Club, Fai D. Flowright in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Dark in D.N.Angel, Kurz Weber in the Full Metal Panic! series, Zero and Ichiru Kiryu in the Vampire Knight series, Christopher Aonuma in Digimon Fusion, Nagato and Obito Uchiha in Naruto Shippuden, Ikkaku Madarame in Bleach, Qrow Branwen in the anime-style web series RWBY, and Matt Ishida in Digimon Adventure tri. In video games, he is the voice of E-123 Omega in the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Junpei Iori from Persona 3. In live-action work, he has participated in several Star Trek fan productions, including Star Trek Continues where he plays Captain James T. Kirk.”
Marc Cushman originally got his start in writing nearly thirty years ago and has a resume that certainly reaches far and wide. Marc’s TV writing includes Star Trek: The Next Generation, Beyond Belief, Diagnosis Murder, Channel K, and Bachelor Pad. His film list of works is just as impressive with titles like Midnight Confessions, In The Eyes of A Killer, and
Countless uses, surrounded by controversy, and so much misinformation that it makes it nearly impossible to decipher fact from fiction. No, this is not another rotating news cycle story with the same character actors, but it is the predicament of the topic that this week’s guest Jen Hobbs is interested in.
One of the oldest cultivated (records have found that it has been cultivated since at least 8,000 B.C., was farmed across the globe, and has even included farming by a number of founding fathers) and most versatile plants in existence (hemp can be used in everything from textiles, to plastics, and even building materials not including the countless medicinal elements of CBD), the hemp plant finds itself trapped in a situation that seems nearly impossible to get out of. Opaqued by nearly a century of false information, the versatility of the hemp plant is just now starting to come the surface of the public attention, and Jen Hobbs is doing her best to see to it as best as she can.
“Jen Hobbs has been a publicity consultant for the greater part of her career, representing Oscar and Emmy award-winning clients as well as politicians and authors. She has worked behind-the-scenes with Jesse Ventura since 2007, as his book publicist and as a producer for his tv shows. In 2016, she co-authored Jesse Ventura’s Marijuana Manifesto, which inspired the content for her new book American Hemp. Prior to graduating with her MFA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2013, she was a commercial print and parts model and developed a diverse portfolio in print ads and commercials; she transitioned from non-union to SAG in 2010 when she was hired for The Last Airbender, directed by M Night Shyamalan, as the body-double/stand-in for the lead actress, Nicola Peltz. After visiting and living in several states and countries, Hobbs now resides in O’Fallon, Missouri with her husband, Andrew, and daughter, McKayla, and currently employs her artistic talents through her art and custom jewelry company Hobbs Superior Handmade Supply.”
So what is it about the plant that causes so much strife? Is it the obscene amounts of misinformation surrounding it and its cousin the marijuana plant and all the falsified information that has been attached to them? Is it the odd coincidence that the Secretary of Treasury at the time of the prohibition of hemp and marijuana was heavily invested in DuPont and hemp happens to be a cheaper more abundant alternative to DuPont creation nylon? (Also note the similar strange coincidence between alcohol prohibition and the big oil companies…another show for another day) Who’s to say, we’ll leave that call up to you.
You can find Jen’s book through major online retailers and would recommend picking it up. You can contact Jen through social media and keep up with her latest goings on as well. It is not often that an individual goes from conspiracy theorist, to a non-conspiratorial mindset. Typically, it goes the other way around. When you factor in the subject matter that this week’s guest is known for, it makes it even more intriguing. This week Jim welcomes Fred Litwin to the show to discuss his take on the JFK assassination…which is Oswald did it…by himself. Unusual for The Malliard Report right? Well, listen on.
“Fred Litwin is a marketing professional who worked nine years for Intel Corporation. In 1998-1999, Fred managed a team of twenty people organizing the launch of the Pentium III in Asia. Prior to joining Intel, Fred was Vice-President of Sales for LAN Systems in New York City. In 2000, he founded NorthernBlues Music, a cutting-edge blues label. The company has released over 70 CDs, and has garnered 12 Juno Award and over 40 Blues Music Award nominations. In 2007, Fred started the Free Thinking Film Society to showcase films on liberty, freedom and democracy. The Society has now shown over 100 films and also organizes book launches and panel discussion in the fall of 2015, Fred published his first book, Conservative Confidential: Inside the Fabulous Blue Tent, which detailed his journey from left-wing anti-nuclear activist to becoming a gadfly on the right. I was a Teenage JFK Conspiracy Freak is his second book.
Fred Litwin recounts how he became a JFK conspiracy freak at eighteen, and then slowly moved to believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin. This book demonstrates how the left and the right have used the JFK assassination to drive home myths about power in America. There is also the horrible persecution of a gay man prosecuted for conspiring to kill Kennedy, the ugly story of Oliver Stone’s homophobic film JFK, a look at how the Soviets tried to influence American public opinion into believing the CIA was behind the assassination, and the incredible secret why some JFK assassination documents must remain locked up forever. And a whole lot more.
‘As a young man growing up in the heyday of Kennedy assassination theorizing, Fred Litwin believed a conspiracy killed JFK. And then he grew, and he studied and he researched. The result is this volume, a thorough, cogent and meticulously argued case for a lone assassin. A seasoned conspiracy skeptic will learn new things here, and a conspiracy believer open to looking at the other side could do no better than this volume.”
This is an unusual episode for The Malliard Report, but a great listen none the less. As you may know by now the typical stance is the one that strays from the mainstream, so it is always best to hear the other side of the story. Fred has solid evidence that shows that Oswald could very well be the lone assassin that he is played out to be. But that’s your call. You pick up Fred’s book through most online retail sites or through is website conspiracyfreak.com. Make sure to head over to our fantastic sponsor Veriteesapparel.com and get yourself an awesome conspiracy themed shirt. For all things, Malliard makes your way over to Malliard.com or reach out via Twitter @malliard.
What do you get when you have a lawyer, a medium, and an adventurer…today’s guest on The Malliard Report; longtime friend and fan favorite Mark Anthony. No, not the Latin Pop Singer… Mark has been gracing The Malliard Report guest seat for many years now, and it is a welcomed joy each and every time. He even puts up with the bad jokes so that says a lot about him.
“Mark Anthony the Psychic Lawyer and Psychic Explorer is a world-renowned fourth generation science based evidential psychic medium who communicates with spirits. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Amazon and spiritual bestsellers Never Letting Go and Evidence of Eternity. He is featured regularly on TV and major Radio Shows nationwide. In 2017 he appeared on CBS TV’s Emmy Award Winning Show The Doctors where he performed a reading for a family in a brutal cold case. Information provided during the reading led to the murderer’s arrest in April 2018. Combining his gifts as a psychic medium with his experience as an attorney, Mark Anthony relates to each client on a personal level. His positive, personable demeanor is an uplifting influence for people coping with the aftermath of a life-threatening, life-changing, or life-ending trauma. Many of his clients have benefited from his insights, and with his guidance, have found the inner strength to turn away from drugs, alcohol, and other self-destructive behaviors.”
“The death of a loved one is the most painful ordeal you will face in life. While there is nothing you can do about the fact someone you love has died, what you can do is learn to change your perspective on death. There is no cure for grief and there is no substitute for grieving, but to understand the process and to understand the transition from living in the material world to living in the spiritual world may lighten the load of grief. Mark has devoted his life to helping people understand that God exists, The Afterlife exists, our soul is an immortal living spirit, communication with souls is possible and that we will be reunited with our loved ones on the Other Side when it is our appointed time to leave this life. However, in the meantime, we must learn to cope with this heavy load.”
Again, like every other time before, Mark shows why he is one of the favorite guests on the show. Make sure you head over to his website evidenceofeternity.com and pick up his book or catch one of his shows while he is on the road. Don’t forget to visit our great sponsor veriteesapparel.com and get yourself one of their fantastic shirts. “Sometimes to do the right thing, you have to break a law. And the key there is in terms of civil disobedience. You have to make sure that what you're risking, what you're bringing onto yourself, does not serve as a detriment to anyone else. It doesn't hurt anybody else.”
Most of us from a very young age are taught that we are supposed to stand up for what is right. When we see harm (both physical and non-physical) or malice being done it is in our very nature to push back against it. But what happens when doing what is right is viewed as being wrong? Such is the case for several high-profile names in today’s news and culture; Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, and today’s guest on The Malliard Report, John Kiriakou.
“John Kiriakou is a former CIA analyst and case officer, former senior investigator for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and former counterterrorism consultant. While employed by the CIA, he was involved in critical counterterrorism missions following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, but refused to be trained in so-called “enhanced interrogation techniques.” and Kiriakou never authorized or engaged in these techniques After leaving the CIA, Kiriakou appeared on ABC News in an interview with Brian Ross, during which he became the first former CIA officer to confirm that the agency waterboarded detainees and label waterboarding as torture. Kiriakou’s interview revealed that this practice was not just the result of a few rogue agents, but was official U.S. policy approved at the highest levels of the government. The government started investigating Kiriakou immediately after his media appearance. Five years later, the government finally succeeded in piecing together enough information to criminally prosecute him. He became the sixth whistleblower indicted by the Obama administration under the Espionage Act – a law designed to punish spies, not whistleblowers.”
John is an absolute incredible guest with just as fantastic story to tell in these troubling times. However, he provides hope that there may still be good within the dredges of “the swamp” “deep state” whatever you want to call it. His constant fervor to bring dark practices into the light has led him to write several books, maintain a podcast, and continue on an interview circuit that would exhaust just about any other person. You are able to keep up with his latest book, media event, or stance on current happenings through his website johnkiriakou.com. For the latest in all things Malliard head over to malliard.com and of course don’t forget to visit our fantastic sponsor veriteesapparel.com for the best in conspiracy based humor in T-shirt form.
Anyone that holds any sort of interest in the paranormal or conspiratorial fields will certainly be no
stranger to dissenting opinions and ideas from outside skepticism or nonbelief. One of the most painful
factors about the paranormal is that it has no way of being replicated in a regular manner so as to be
studied in a scientific fashion. We cling hold to what we saw, believe what we know, and cover our ears
and yell louder than the dissenting voice that is coming our way. Similarly, in the conspiratorial field, it is
said that what is believed could never happen, “they would never do that”, “too many people to keep
quiet for too long a period of time”, “there is just no basis for it” and so on. On the flip side of the
proverbial coin, there are those that absolutely refuse to acknowledge anything other than the perfect
infallibility nature of those that are lifted within the scientific community. Treating its leaders as near
religious deities. No matter where you stand In the era of fake news, click-bait, and hyper-
over sensationalism, it almost feels as though there is no reason or common sense when comes to many
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Brian Dunning to the show. “Science writer Brian
Dunning is the host and producer of the Skeptoid podcast (skeptoid.com) with a weekly audience of
135,000 listeners, and the author of seven books on scientific skepticism. He is the writer and presenter

From early on we are told to dream big, set lofty goals, and shoot for the stars, but as we become “adults” (very loose term these days) those same thoughts that were placed in us are quickly stomped out by the same voices that put them in. “You have to be real, you’ll never have that kind of job, you’ never live there” and so on. So painfully we die inside and subject ourselves to a less than ideal set of circumstances, because, well, that’s just the way that it is, and those long-lusted passions and goals turn into mere daydreams as we trudge through the daily grind. But what if they weren’t sent out to pasture to die a painful death of boredom and mundanity? What if we really could make those goals/dreams/aspirations come true?
The concept of intentional living (not to be confused with the intentional living that deals with being intentional and genuine with people you interact with…which you should do that too…but I digress) has been something that has been discussed and chased for ages. Having your dreams become a reality. A sort of putting it out to the universe that you want this particular outcome to come to fruition, and watching it unfold is something that is becoming more and more verified with each passing day. Now these have to be realistic goals and hopes. If you are in your 30s and your goal is to land the next Mike Trout sized contract with the Angels, but you haven’t swung a bat since your company’s softball league two years ago, where you rolled your ankle during that awesome dive into third where you were totally safe but that blind and clearly paid off Ump called you out, chances are that it will never happen. That is what is referred to as a pipe dream. But if you put out there that you want to be in the best shape of your life, and have a perfect run in the 90mph batting cage, then that it something that is possible. Same applies for people that “really want to work in this particular field” or “move to this area of the country.” It has been and can be done. This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is an expert in this filed (among many others) and is here to share his thoughts on this, BigFoot, Masons, his awesome tattoos and much more. This week Jim welcomes Mitch Horowitz to the show.
“Mitch Horowitz is a writer-in-residence at the New York Public Library, a lecturer-in-residence at the University of Philosophical Research in Los Angeles, and the PEN Award-winning author of books including Occult America; One Simple Idea: How Positive Thinking Reshaped Modern Life; Mind as Builder; and the The Miracle Club: How Thoughts Become Reality. Mitch has written on everything from the war on witches to the secret life of Ronald Reagan for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Salon, Time.com, and Politico. The Washington Post says Mitch ‘treats esoteric ideas and movements with an even-handed intellectual studiousness that is too often lost in today’s raised-voice discussions. ‘He is the voice of popular audio books including Alcoholics Anonymous and The Jefferson Bible. Mitch has discussed alternative spirituality on CBS Sunday Morning, Dateline NBC, NPR’S All Things Considered, and throughout the national media. His work has been censored in China.”
Mitch is an absolute fantastic guest and very easily enjoys the quick subject changes that The Malliard Report often provides. He is a wealth of knowledge and has a curiosity for the universe and all the strangeness it has to offer that has been with him since birth. It is highly recommended that you head over to his website mitchhorowitz.com where you can read many of his articles, watch his YouTube videos and follow him on social media. Don’t forget to head over to our great sponsor veriteesapparel.com and get your very own shirt today. For all things, Malliard, visit malliard.
This week on The Malliard Report Jim flips the phone switch to “on” for a night of open lines. If you have listened to the show for anything length of time, then you know all the greatness that comes with an open line night. Topics range from sports, the weird, to even weird things in sports, and of course, no open phone line night would be complete without the one and only German Town Runner himself.
At the time of this recording, the Mueller Report is still ongoing, but there is a sense that the investigation might be winding down and a number of clues are beginning to point to a conclusion is about to be made. A conclusion that points to zero evidence findings. Some factors to point out in regards to the basis of this claim, is a number of behaviors of individuals that are on the “other side of the floor” and a few others. One of the original, and most outspoken individuals of this case was Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. IN recent times, Nancy has since pulled back stating that any impeachment pursuit would not be a worthwhile venture are this point. This speaks volumes.
Mike Trout signs one of the largest deals in MLB history, the Lakers miss the playoffs for a 6th straight season even while under the reign of King James, and Alex Ovechkin continues his climb up the charts as one of the all-time leaders in goal scoring. To say it was a busy week in sports would be an understatement. All of this in addition to the near frenzy that occurs around March Madness and you can’t help but get in on the excitement. Well, for some of us. It is known that there are a number of Malliard Report listeners that do not follow sports so we’ll go ahead and just wrap this up here.
The open phone shows are always an experience because they are always unpredictable. Just like this week, they go from school safety, Russian Collusion, to if the Capitals are really the best hockey team or not. There’s something for everyone. Don’t forget to head over to our fantastic sponsor veriteesapparel.com and pick up your shirt today. Also, venture over to the new malliard.com to catch up on past shows, sign up for the newsletter, and so much more. You can also connect with the report via Twitter @Malliard.
There are a handful of companies in existence that with the mere mention of their name can spark spurious debate. One of, if the not the biggest example of such a company has got to be Monsanto. Known and loathed the world over, yet incredibly difficult to escape their far-reaching grasp, Monsanto has pervasively made its way into our everyday lives. Riddled with controversy, predatory lawsuits, and a revolving door between director boards and government seats, they are the focal point of this week’s guest on The Malliard Report.
Founded in 1901 by John Frances, Monsanto started as a chemical company in St. Louis Missouri with the capital from a soft drink distributor. In the infancy stages Monsanto began creating commodity food additives such as saccharin (a now commonly known carcinogen…see a trend here?), caffeine, and vanillin. Monsanto continued on and began purchasing companies involved in pharmaceuticals, food, and even founded their own town in 1926 so as to avoid taxation and avoid stricter environmental regulations. (At the time, most environmental standards were put into place by local jurisdictions.)
During the second world war Monsanto began their venture into military projects and began partnerships National Defense Research Committee (NDRC). This juncture included the involvement of Leslie Groves, James Conant, Robert Oppenheimer, and many others. Monsanto were the leads for the Dayton Project, the creation of Mound Laboratories, and assisted in the development of the first nuclear weapons. Additionally, during the 1960s and 1970s, Monsanto was the creator and distributor of “Agent Orange”; the highly controversial defoliant used by the United Stated Armed Forces during the Vietnam War.
Monsanto is also infamously known for many other “for the good” ventures that actually seem quite nefarious. The widespread use of genetically modified food production, falsified or non-peer reviewed publications, copyright lawsuits on crops, and a plethora of cancer-causing consumer grade products have certainly left a foul taste in the people’s mouth. So much in fact that Monsanto has been banned from many different countries for a multitude of reasons. (The use of glyphosate, GMO products, etc.) In a recent land mark purchase, Bayer acquired Monsanto in a 66-Billion-dollar deal and has dropped the Monsanto name in hopes to “regain consumer trust.” But does changing the name actually make anything better? Will the practices that have been in play for over a hundred years change?
So, with all of that, we welcome to the show this week Mitchel Cohen. Mitchel “…coordinates the No Spray Coalition in New York City, which successfully sued the City government over its indiscriminate spraying of toxic pesticides. In 1997, he organized the campaign to rid NYC public schools of milk from cows injected with genetically engineered Bovine Growth Hormone, and in 2001, he ran for Mayor of NYC as one of five Green Party candidates. He was editor of the national newspaper Green Politix, and of the NY State Green Party newspaper…” Mitchel is also an author of multiple publications including his most recent The Fight Against Monsanto's Roundup: The Politics of Pesticides.
Mitchel provides some incredible insight to the inner workings of the company and how they have been able to get away with what they have for so long. You can purchase Mitchel’s works through all major retailers, but recommends visiting your smaller brick and mortar store. Remember to visit our great sponsor veriteesapparel.com to get your excellent t-shirt and for all things head over to malliard.com for past shows, to sign up for the newsletter, and so much more.
The world of cryptids is certainly one that draws a lot of attention; both good and bad. With such a diverse group of “creatures” and schools of thought for each and everyone, it is hard for certain elements to not become polarized. While unfortunately, this (as is the same case for many of the other fields within the paranormal community) trend continues to grow, there are some that hold steadfast to the idea of researching for the sake of researching and finding the actual truth. This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is a longtime friend of Jim, Brian Seech. Brian has a passion for researching cryptids and various other unknowns, is the Research Coordinator for the Center for Unexplained Events, and facilitator for one of the largest and longest running paranormal conventions in the Pennsylvania area. While gnomes, werewolves, dog boys, gargoyles, and so many more are definitely topics of interest for Brian, his primary focus is the one and only giant hairy beast himself, Bigfoot.
Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Skunk Ape, Boogers, and many other names; no matter what you call it, it conjures up images of a giant monkey/human type creature skulking through the woods on grainy, low-quality footage. Generations of civilizations have all reported sightings and interactions with the possible missing link, however, one has yet to turn up in one form or fashion. If these things really do exist, then why do we not have more evidence that low-quality video? Where are the bones, fur, bodies of these creatures? Are they really just bears that are mistaken in a hastily identified manner? Are they inter-dimensional like some people have possibly speculated? Some have even said that aliens, sasquatches, demons, etc. are all just personal interpretations of how some higher-level consciousness presents itself to us. Who knows which is right?
Brian has a fantastic way of keeping a unique topic (and sometimes overdone depending on the case) entertaining, humorous, and engaging. Make sure to check out his Facebook profile for the latest updates in his research and to follow up with information about the conference. Throughout modern history, humanity has made remarkable strides toward unraveling the secrets of the universe. Yet in spite of these impressive scientific achievements, certain fundamental mysteries continue to evade both our powers of reason and our modern physics. Among these are: Is there a Divine Order within the cosmos? What are the causes behind the bizarre events known as the paranormal? Are anti-gravity, time travel and teleportation possible, or are they just food for fantasy? How was matter created “from the void?” Is there a gateway to a higher dimension, and what does it look like? Is dark matter real, and why can’t we see it? How did life originate on earth? Could UFOs really be advanced spacecraft? And how does religion and spirituality fit into all this?
Questions like these have long confounded scientists, philosophers, and ecclesiastics alike. Efforts to solve these riddles have often suffered from too narrow a focus, such as those that attempt to describe telepathy or consciousness in terms of quantum theory while overlooking the vast body of other unexplained phenomena. None have led us to a single cosmological framework that can accommodate the wealth of scientific anomalies, spiritual experiences and paranormal events that are observed and recorded.
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a guest that if you have listened to The Report for any length of time, then you will have heard this guest before. Adventurer into the unknown realms where science refuses to acknowledge that there may be something outside the comprehension of man is the one and only Thomas Fusco. Thomas P Fusco has devoted nearly three decades of research into the relationship between mind, physics, spirituality, parapsychology, scientific anomalies and paranormal phenomena with the goal of uncovering the unifying cosmological framework that has eluded mankind for generations.
Like every other time that Thomas has been on, the conversations go deep, the jokes are frequent, and the discussion is engaging. Thomas is a great guest and a long time friend of The Report and it is always great to have him on. You can follow Thomas through his blog and website at cosmicveil.com. “Freedom of speech and freedom of press; the right to speak his mind is close to the heart of every American, the constitution prohibits most forms of censorship over the press and speechmakers. The argument against censorship is clear: no government official should be permitted to dictate what ideas or beliefs we are entitled to hear or believe. Both good and evil should be averted by more speech and not enforced silence. “
As enforced silence is becoming more prevalent in any medium in which the mainstreamed narrative is questioned, or dared to go so far as to dissent against, we must ask ourselves “at what point is the proverbial line drawn?” Podcasts, YouTube channels, and even entire websites are being pulled due to alternative views. Investigators used to strive to bring truth to the people, now they are about creating an image and a following, and truth is lost.
In an era of fabricated stories and click bait narratives, anyone that should happen to stray from the fold is quickly painted as an outsider and a rebel rouser. This week on The Malliard Report Jim has two guests that know this stigma all too well. In an episode for the record books, Jim welcomes two of the most polarizing guests in the history of the show; Dr. Jerome Corsi and Roger Stone.
As Special Counsel Robert Mueller continues on his search for whatever it is that he is looking for, he continues to operate within in a manner that is outside of what one would believe to be for the betterment of the people. While we will skip the details of the specifics of the investigation and try to avoid any appearance of any sort of political leanings it will be said that the manner in which the investigation has been conducted is far from appropriate. Additionally, does it not seem suspicious that Mueller has direct ties to the notoriously questionable Clinton Foundation? That might be another show for another day.
Roger Stone. Love him, hate him, there is no denying him, he certainly has left his mark on current politics, and it is very possible that mark is what aided in the situation that he found himself in late January. Once again in the “free world” Roger is now pushing forward with his legal fight against those responsible for the early morning raid on his house. (Let’s be honest here; is a full-fledged FBI raid on an individual with no passport or firearms really the best use of the American taxpayer’s money?)
This episode is one for the ages, but one of the biggest take aways is that we as a whole need to pay attention to where the line is being drawn, and who is drawing it for us. Censorship is slowly becoming the norm and those that are speaking out are quickly being silenced, and this is not okay. You may not subscribe to the same core beliefs as today’s guests, but you should absolutely stand for the freedom of speech. If you would like to contribute to either one of today’s guests defense funds you can do so here: donorbox.org/dr-jerome-corsi-legal-fund or whoframedrogerstone.com. We as a people have been fooled into thinking that science and research are set for the common good: that research would be impartial, untainted, and for the betterment of mankind. That money would have no sway in the outcomes or findings that are presented to the public. Unfortunately such is not the case. More and more we are discovering that the companies that are manufacturing products that are harmful to us are the exact same ones stating that everything is just. The sugar companies claiming that fat is the primary problem in our diets and not the sugar, Monsanto claims that Roundup is perfectly safe yet the World Health Organization has officially declared that the primary ingredient glyphosate as a carcinogen in 2018. We continue to be told that everything is okay by the ones with the deepest of pockets.
“We should not need to reminded about the importance of scientific evidence is forming public policy in modern society. But in this day and age of ‘fake news’ and science denialism, we need to be. Sheldon Krimsky notes…studies on the topic of conflicts of interest and science that a scientific establishment dedicated to the pursuit of credible, verifiable knowledge unbiased by political, economic, or personal interests is essential. Otherwise, a society cannot guarantee that its citizens will have access to reliable information that will enable them to make informed political, social, and medical decisions …”
This week Jim welcomes Sheldon Krimsky to the show to discuss these matters. After spending much of his time research the links between paid research and apparent skewed results, Sheldon’s results are staggering. Professor Krimsky’s research has focused on the linkages between science/technology, ethics/values, and public policy. He is the author of 14 books, over 200 essays and reviews, and co-editor for a number of papers and other publishings.
Professor Krimsky served on the National Institutes of Health’s Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee from 1978-1981. He was a consultant to the Presidential Commission for the Study of Ethical Problems in Medicine and Biomedical and Behavioral Research and to the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment. He participated on a special study panel for the American Civil Liberties Union that formulated a policy on civil liberties and scientific research. Professor Krimsky was the chairperson of the Committee on Scientific Freedom and Responsibility for the American Association for the Advancement of Science for 1988-1992 and currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Council for Responsible Genetics and as a Fellow of the Hastings Center on Bioethics.
You can purchase Sheldon’s works on most major online retailers and his website is a fantastic resource for his works. Every year the President of The United States gives a speech on the intended
direction of the nation and goals that are hoped to be achieved. Just as POTUS
pontificates on the possibilities of the upcoming year, Jim Malliard muses over the
mysterious and the direction of the unusual in his Paranormal State of The Union.
A topic and question that is a frequently discussed on this show is the future
of paranormal investigations. The early-mid to late 00s so the rise of paranormal
investigations in popular culture with many shows exploding on to the scene;
drawing huge views, fan-bases, the creation of larger than life personalities, and a
new found infatuation with the ethereal that had not been seen since the likes of
Victorian era parlor days. However, like most trends (like it or not, there is no
denying that the paranormal search wave was in fact a trend) it eventually waned
into an existence that is more hum drum now than exhilarating. Even those of us
that have had a lifetime interest in the unknown eventually grow bored with seeing
the same overreactions or painfully overhyped lack of evidence. (An experienced
researcher should not have a near meltdown freak-out over every EVP and how can
you tell me you are an expert in Sasquatch behaviors, if you cannot provide true
physical evidence for one. Plus let’s be honest, Sasquatches like rave music and
So the question to be had is “where is the future of paranormal research
going?” Actually, within this episode, Jim poses the question of who will be the next
generation to take up that mantle. While there are still a very small handful of
television shows still making the rounds on syndicated TV, there is nothing new
coming out of these, and while they continue to churn out the same story over and
over again, a new breed of investigator is beginning to stir things up. The future of
investigating has seemed to shift into the field of strictly ITC. Researchers are now
focusing less on capturing that proverbial golden egg full-bodied apparition, and
working towards making direct contact with spirits. In addition, these researchers
are stepping away from outdated philosophies of only high end, super expensive
equipment should be used, and instead finding ways to utilize more obtainable, and
often far more reasonably priced means and often achieve outstanding results. With
modern pioneers in this field such as Josh Hope of Hope Paranormal and Steve Huff
of Huff Paranormal breaking new headway, and not caving to commercial based
television, it could be bold, but a possibility to say that a bright new future is on the
Every year this is a great episode, and 2019 is no exception. There is much,
much more covered than what is mentioned in the preceding notes but why should
the whole show be spoiled within the notes here. Just give it a listen for yourself. If
you have any ideas or thoughts to where you think the future of paranormal is
heading, feel free to reach out to Jim and share your thoughts. Jim is found on

On the 25th of January, in the early pre-dawn hours, over a dozen heavily armed FBI agents stormed the home of a guest that happens to be a Malliard Report favorite. Escorted out and placed into custody in a fashion that mirrors the capture of El Chapo, long time presidential confidant Roger Stone found himself with the newest title…criminal. A situation that Roger himself said that was a long time coming, and that he knew it was inevitable, but there are a number of questions that linger with the situation: was this show of force too excessive? What does this mean for the current political climate? Is there legitimacy into the investigation or is this an ax to grind from other individuals? This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes back Lee Stranahan to give his expert opinion on the situation and insight for what may come in the future.
While this event is certainly a major one in Malliard history, it is not all that is in store for this episode. In addition to Lee, Jim has the pleasure of bringing back Germantownrunner to the show.
This is a great episode because it provides some fantastic insight into two very different topics. Politics, the paranormal, and paranormal politics. The continuation of a thin-skinned and weak feelings generation, and taking on one of the most taboo type things today; talking religion and politics around the dinner table. On this episode of The Malliard Report Jim welcomes author and teacher Charles Banks to the show to discuss how we as a generation have become too afraid to talk about important things, too easily offended by criticisms that would normally be seen as helpful, and people still being weirded out by “professionals” having an interest in the unusual.
Charles grew up in small, rural Iowa where wooden spoon corrections and open forum discussion were commonplace. Charles climbed through the educational ranks and became an educator himself. His love for knowledge is something that is regarded by many, however, even with the vast amounts of credibility that Charles holds, some people still find his passion for the paranormal something as a taboo topic. A question that has been asked time and time again on this show is “how in this day and age are people still so fearful of admitting that there is something that we may not be able to explain?” There is too much credible evidence available through many different types of outlets that one cannot deny the fact that there is something strange in the neighborhood. When will we as a whole put the fear aside and actually embrace the unusual?
Charles, a long time friend of The Malliard Report, is guest that keeps things entertaining to the very end. You can find Charles’ books in both digital and physical formats through many different retailers. (Around the Dinner Table Religion and Politics The Butt Hurt Saga 1962-2015 is a great read by the way) You can catch up on all things Malliard through the website malliard.com and connect with Jim via Twitter @malliard. As with the ebb and flow of the tides and the rise and setting of the sun, the news circuits go through their cyclical pattern of craziness. And along with the roundabout we go, so too does another of episode of The Malliard Report with everyone’s favorite segment; the live call show. This week Jim opens up the phones and discusses the outrage of a particular advertising campaign, tries to Beetlejuice a former guest, and once again goes deep into the shop talk of podcasting. Off the rails and always a wild card, open line episodes are a favorite for many, many reasons and this one is no exception.
Manipulation from the media in the way we think is pretty much a universally accepted theory now. (They don’t call it television programming for no reason at all) However, some stories have a tendency to stand out more than others and such is the case from a recent advertising campaign from a particular men’s grooming line. While there are behaviors that were once “acceptable” during an era, those have long been extinct, and this recurring theme of “needing to apologize” is just ridiculous. Yes, we humans as a whole just need to figure out that positivity and respect will do wonders, but, this constant “feel bad for being who you are” needs to end.
Another subject in a roundabout way that is discussed is the following of one’s passions. Why put blood, sweat, tears, countless hours of work, and personal frustrations into something that in some instances no one may see? Because it is something you love. It brings joy to watch something come to fruition that you have toiled so hard for. So if there is something that you have had a drive for but been hesitant to do it, stop messing around and just jump in already. It should not matter if someone will see what you do or not, if it will make you money or not. Chase after it because it satisfies your soul and for no other reason than that.
Open phones always make for a fun episode because it is always great to hear what is on the minds of the listeners. If you have listened to The Malliard Report for any length of time you can easily catch on that humor and conspiracies are a cornerstone to the report. This week’s guest has encapsulated these two principles and branched out to start his very own T-shirt company that reflects this. Aaron Keith is the founder, designer, and CEO (he’s a one man show if you haven’t deduced by now) of Veritees Apparel. A clothing line that takes conspiratorial ideas and spins them with a humor twist. On this episode Aaron shares with Jim how he got started down that proverbial rabbit trail that so many of us have come to know quite well, what inspired him to start a clothing line, and much more. Alex Jones. What name stirs up more controversy than that of Alex Jones. Bullhorns, costumes, and theatrics that will rival that of any up and coming thespian, Alex has a way of being larger than life that you cannot help but stop and take notice. While many in the conspiracy theory communities have either turned their back on or refused to believe him from the get go one cannot deny that he has opened the eyes of many people to the conspiratorial ways.Aaron brings his humor to the show as well as the passion he shares for things conspiracy and the unknown. He also strongly believes that his approach to conspiracy theories has been more palatable to those that may have yet to venture into the crazy world that is. It is far more easy to get a more natural and organic conversation going over a humorous T-shirt than simply stating facts to someone that may not be ready. Second Part of the Report
In all things Jesse Iwuji does, there are two constant elements: his love of country and his fighting spirit. This talented driver went from a D1A college football player to a lieutenant in the United States Navy and is now well on the way to making his NASCAR dreams an incredible reality. It has been key for Iwuji, who is currently serving in the Navy Reserves, to honor his country while pursuing and attaining excellence. It should come as no surprise that he has championed companies and charities that give back to our men and women in uniform. From https://www.jesseiwuji.com/
How do you see yourself? When you walk past a mirror are you the type to always stop and do a double take? Do you like what you see, or are you the type to see all the “imperfections” that you think that is the only thing that others take notice. Do you project your personal awareness onto others or into the universe? This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes guest Bernie Taylor to the show to discuss his book Before Orion and so much more. Bernie believes that “...we individually project our psyche into the cosmos, in all of the animal beings and geological and meteorological formations that are encountered.”“Bernie Taylor is an independent naturalist, thought leader and author whose research exploresthe mythological connections and biological knowledge among prehistoric, indigenous and ancient peoples. His works in these areas include Biological Time (2004) and Before Orion: Finding the Face of the Hero (2017). Before Orion is premised on Joseph’s Campbell’s hero’s journey monomyth that is at the core of stories worldwide among indigenous peoples, the ancients, and our modern society. Before Orion explores a deeper root for this monomyth by looking at how hunter-gatherers viewed themselves within the natural and spiritual worlds through Paleolithic cave art from 40,000 years ago. Taylor proposes that select cave paintings are fundamental pieces in the human journey to self-realization, the foundation of written language, and a record of biological knowledge that irrevocably impacted some of the artistic styles, religious practices, and stories that are still with us. Taylor addresses a profound archaeological elephant in the room by opening up an uncharted place in our history, which points to the cultural ancestors of mankind in western North Africa. Before Orion will change the idea of who you think you are.”Bernie is a great guest that certainly brings some very interesting insight to things and makes for a great episode. The ability to communicate with the other side is something that we as humans have sought after since the very beginning of time. The shamans of the ancients, the mediums of old, and even today with the incredibly rapid growth within the ITC realm, communication with the other side has been a long and elusive quest. There are plenty of instances of what appears to be incredible pieces of evidence, however, there is always that…thing…that does not quite give it the validity from the general public, let alone anyone within the scientific community, that it so deserves. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Stéphane Allix to the show, who just so happens to be one of those fighting to prove the validity of the talking with the dead.
Stéphane Allix has always had a knack for digging into difficult and challenging things. Early on in his journalistic career, he found himself in the heat of battle in 1980s Afghanistan as a war reporter. He continued on this path for more than fifteen years, but eventually found his way out in 2001. With his fascination with the unusual (he holds a very strong belief that intelligent extraterrestrial life does exist somewhere in the cosmos) and his acuteness for journalism, Stéphane would go on to form INREES (Institute for Research on Extraordinary Experiences), host and write the French Television show Extraordinary Investigations, and author several books including The Test: Incredible Proof of the Afterlife.
Stéphane comes with a fantastic background into the field and has yielded some absolutely astonishing results. You can find his book The Test: Incredible Proof of the Afterlife on major online retailers and follow him on multiple social media outlets. (Instagram @alix.stephane Facebook Stephane Allix Official). Don’t forget to head over to malliard.com for all the latest in show news, newsletter signup, and so much more. After four long years, this week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes back a long times friend and favored guest; Peter John. An indie singer songwriter based out of Pittsburgh, and former schoolmate of Jim, Peter brings his system- bucking attitude to provide great insight as to the incredibly fabricated music industry, cheap news stories, time traveling bard Kurt Cobain and the free speech clamp down on social and digital media outlets.
Peter has seen and personally known on an all too familiar level the struggles that are associated with being an independent musician. While there are countless avenues for a musician to get their music out to the world (the explosion of sharing sites over the last decade has been helpful) getting the break to mass distribution is incredibly difficult. The industry is littered with fabricated creations and talentless acts that we are sold as the next great thing. If one should happen to get an opportunity to have a possible break, they are often subjugated to changes to their content, appearance, musical style, etc, killing the once creative entity they were.
Both good and evil should be averted by more speech and not enforced silence.” These words ring strong and true today as we watch a clamp down happen before our very eyes on one of the most open forums known to mankind.
Love him or hate Alex Jones is one of the most clear-cut cases of this. While his antics may seem quite outlandish at times, his removal from YouTube and social media only adds more credence to his claims. If the stories he is reporting are not true, then why are they so hard pressed to silence him? Is his silencing merely a deeper play to gain popularity for him? Is he in on the game? Either way, we are seeing too much censorship in a world that claims the freedom of speech as one of its most prized possessions.
Supporting independent art is one of the best things that anyone can do, and here at The Malliard Report it is HIGHLY encouraged. Whether it is music, physical arts, other podcasts, you need to support those that are willing to share their creations, their blood, sweat, and tears with the world. Also, do not be afraid to put yourself out there. Have you wanted to take that step? Then do it. Head over to Band Camp and give Peter John’s music a listen. Baby it’s cold outside…wait…is that okay to say anymore? Regardless, winter has set in for most us, the holiday season has come way too quickly, and Christmas songs invade the air waves of radio stations and department store background music tracks alike. This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is no stranger to this marshmallow world, nor to the report itself. This week Jim welcomes back the lovely and very talented Cynthia Basinet to discuss abuse from large tech entities, the loss of intellectual property rights, thunder shirts, and so much more. Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Cynthia was raised on Ela, Coltrane, and many other jazz legends. This early introduction to music soon blossomed into a love for creating her own. Starting out as a woodwind player through her younger schooling years, Cynthia quickly discovered that her true love was for singing, specifically the art of crooning. Prior to the launch of her first full length album The Collection in 2006, Cynthia released a handful of singles that gained her notoriety as a vocalist including the classic Santa Baby in 1997. In addition to her musical career, Cynthia was busy working as both a model and actress. Cynthia was one of the go to models for Bob Mackie (the fashion designer, not the infamous haunted night club proprietor) and I.Magnin. Cynthia’s filmography includes roles on television series The Bold and the Beautiful and Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction as well as appearing in films such as The Big Tease and Blue Gold: American Jeans. Outside of singing, one of Cynthia’s biggest passions is that of humanitarian work and philanthropy, most notably for the Sahrawi refugees that are living in the Western Sahara. In 2001 Cynthia met with the United Nations Fourth Committee (known as the Special Political and Decolonization Committee) where she stated that “…Saharans lived bravely and were attacked and died in violence at the hands of Moroccan policies and perpetrated by their army.” Cynthia also stated in the same committee meeting that “As a single mother, I understand only too well what lack of security can do in undermining what the Saharawi believe in and wish for as a society. Their ability to withstand all for 30 years in the pursuit of self-determination is truly a role model for us all, as we enter the new millennium. For they had displayed faith, honour, compassion and resourcefulness in the face of such opposition.”Any time with Cynthia quickly and clearly reveals that she is incredibly passionate about what she does. She is a great guest and keeps things engaging. You can keep up with Cynthia through her website cynthiabasinet.com or through her Twitter @cynthiabasinet. Even after the paranormal entertainment wave reached its peak a few years ago, and with the longevity and popularity of a few television shows to this very day, the paranormal and conspiratorial genres still fail to gain the respect that it deserves within the “mainstream” media outlets. UFO stories are written off as airplane lights misidentified by drunken red necks and ghosts are nothing more than over sensationalized door creeks and radio static staged for television. Therein, any credible evidence that does surface, or those that are legitimately making great strides within the field are quickly shoved aside as quackery. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes Dave Scott of Spaced Out Radio to the show to talk about his journey to the weird side, his career in broadcasting, and what life is really like in newsrooms.
Dave Scott is the creator and host of Spaced Out Radio; a weekly podcast where he too covers the strange, unusual, occult, and just plain weird. Graduating from Canada’s top broadcasting school in 1998, Dave enjoyed more than a decade in sports broadcasting where he gained the respect and friendships of some sport’s biggest names. However, like many others in the same situation, after a handful of unusual personal encounters with the strange, and a growing frustration for the lack of legitimate coverage, Dave left the sports world to pursue high strangeness. Dave’s many years as a top broadcaster has allowed him to refine his interview style, and combined with his own experiences with the unknown, he has been able to connect with listeners and guests alike.
Dave is an incredibly engaging guest, and is very vocal about his frustrations with the current state of journalism in the paranormal field. Dave’s stories of his past career in sports reporting are extremely interesting as well. (Not everything has to be strange and weird right? Nothing wrong with kicking back and catching a game) To check out Dave’s show head over to spacedoutradio.com where you can catch his show Monday through Friday in addition to articles and many other features. If you have paid any attention to the news lately, it is guaranteed that you have seen at least some footage of Insight exploring our red interplanetary neighbor. The excitement of the landing crew, the pictures of the rocky surface, and the new wave of talks of manned exploration in the not so distant future. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes guest Julio Rezende to the show; speaker, engineer, and advocate for the further exploration of space.
“Professor Julio F. D. Rezende is a pioneer in Brazil promoting quality education related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts an Mathematics (STEAM) and Mars, identifying some possible solutions to be applied in arid and semiarid regions, verifying issues related to the operation of self-sustainable habitats. His interests are related to sustainability and innovation. In 2016, published a research about Mars during the 19th Mars Society Convention in Washington D. C. During 2017 and 2018 had published at International Conference on Sustainable Development at Columbia University The professor is interested in research about climate change, Mars, sustainable development of semiarid regions, economic development, entrepreneurship, sustainability and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is acting in sustainable construction in communities.
Julio’s passion for the advancement for science and exploration shines through during the interview and is a fantastic guest. Jumping out of the back end of a C-130, having multiple identities, finding yourself in heated situations in the Balkans, poisoned by a rogue Russian agent, and long love for French Cuisine. No this is not the character from another Tom Cruise movie, it is the guest on this week’s episode of The Malliard Report. This week Jim welcomes Texan, author, and CIA Spy Eric Burkhart to the show.
“Eric Burkhart was born in North Carolina in 1965, and raised in France by his mother while his father was serving in Vietnam. Eric's parents retired to San Antonio, Texas in 1978, and Eric has considered himself a Texan since that time. After completing college, Burkhart relocated to South Africa for a job in community planning and design. After returning to the United States in 1994, Eric started a career in federal service by becoming a Federal Agent. In 1999 he moved over to the CIA, which became his passion and focus in life. After being poisoned by while working in Kosovo in 2001, Burkhart was eventually obliged to medically retire, but not before extending his career to include tours in Iraq and Africa”
Eric’s story is one that is certainly one to be heard and is told with such passion that one cannot help but be completely captivated while listening to him. On this episode Eric shares the story of when he was poisoned, his thoughts on UFOs and pilots that believe as well encounters with a scientist working on time travel, and so much more. Eric’s story really is incredible and worth listening to. You can find Eric’s book Mukhabarat Baby! My Life as a Wartime Spy for the CIA on most online retailers. It is without any doubt that we today sit on the edge of a precipice of a major global change. As the internal structure of the US continues to become more and more divided in conjunction with rising world tensions, one cannot help but feel that a breaking point is near. World powers continue to flex muscles, atrocities continue to be allowed, and the chasm between peoples grows wider each day. Today’s guest on The Malliard Report has an expert finger on the pulse of these happenings and is open to share his professional perspective. This week Jim welcomes Lieutenant Colonel Robert L. Maginnis to the show to discuss his recent book, political turmoil, the world powers standoff, and much more.
“Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Bob Maginnis graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, the Naval Postgraduate School, the Command & General Staff College, the Defense Language School and the Army War College's strategy course. He is an Airborne-Ranger infantry officer with service in four infantry divisions on three continents. Once retired from the Army he joined the FRC where he rose to be the vice president for policy before returning to the Pentagon 16 years ago. He is currently the vice president for his contracting firm with duties at the Pentagon supervising a team of national security experts and is a security cooperation expert for the Headquarters, Department of the Army as well as instructing a course at the Army War College.”
While officially “ending” in 1991 with the collapse of the USSR (but with the most notable final blow coming in 1989 with the fall of the Berlin Wall) the Cold War was a tense geopolitical standoff between the Soviet Union and the United States. The Cold War bore witness to an arms race of monumental proportions, numerous “conflicts” and skirmishes, and a manufactured fear that weighed heavy on the innocent bystanders. Nearly 30 years later, the Soviet Union is still no more, however, an arms race amid rising tensions seems to be unfurling before our very eyes between three of the world powers; Russia, China, and the United States. With rapid expansion and advancement of weapons, military staging and shows of force, and aggressive land acquisitions, it would appear that history is once again repeating itself and the world is turning into a proverbial tinder box.
One of the unfortunate byproducts of the previous cold war, and potentially this one, is the threat of nuclear weapon usage. While the idea of nuclear weapons being used by any side (especially considering the knowledge of the aftermath that we have today) is unnerving in and of itself, a lesser known (but equally disconcerting) problem has risen from this global “mine is bigger than yours” contest and that is the current state of our nuclear weapons. The last nuclear test in the United States occurred in September 1992. For 26 years these weapons have been dormant, which brings into question their stability and effectiveness.
This along with many other fascinating topics are the subject of discussion for this episode with Lt Col Maginnis and his expert analysis really shines through. You can purchase Robert’s books through online retailers and keep up with his updated postings through his Facebook account, which are incredibly insightful. With 2018 rapidly drawing to a tumultuous close, it is once again that time of year. The annual Malliard Report predictions for the upcoming year. With 2019 just around the corner Jim and guests again make their predictions for what is to come.
Before jumping into what the future may hold it is probably best to look at what was thought to happen during the current year. One of the more common threads for future events in the year 2018 was a major technological breakthrough. While many were (or still are) thinking of a major consumer grade break through like a revolutionary new smart phone, or something similar, instead of what we did see in tech advances, however what we did get is nothing short of extraordinary. One example of such was the process of 3D metal printing. While 3D printing has been around for quite some time now, it has been limited to mostly plastics and usually consists of one off type builds. 2018 however saw the rise of metal printing and at a cost that would be consumer grade. This potentially opens the doors for small scale manufacturing that could certainly revolutionize many different industries.
Another prediction for 2018 was that of a major breakthrough in the medical field. While many of us long, and anxiously await for something like a cure for that horrendous scourge cancer, we still are able to embrace the fantastic changes that we get to see. One of the biggest breakthroughs the medical community saw in 2018 was what could be called “Genetic Fortune Telling.” Scientist are now able to review genomes in what they call polygenic scores to predict a person’s a chance of getting things like heart disease, breast cancer, even potentially an individual’s IQ. This is a huge because this will help in identifying pre dispositions that may arise in children, however, this could allow the possibility for genetic discrimination. If it should happen to show that an individual is pre-disposed to Alzheimer’s would it be ethical for an insurance company to drop a client even though they currently show no signs of the disease. Something to think about as this technology advances.
There are a handful of predictions that Jim makes as well as several callers that are very possible for the upcoming year. So tune in and take note to see what actually happens as the New Year unfolds. What are your predictions for 2019? Reach out to us via Twitter @Malliard and let us know. The United States Army defines leadership as “the process of influencing people by providing purpose, direction, and motivation while operating to accomplish the mission and improve the organization.” While some may believe that leadership is a trait that people are inherently born with, this week’s guest on The Malliard Report believes that even some of the most timid individuals have the ability to become the most successful leaders. This week Jim welcomes Lolly Daskal to the show to discuss her role with some of the most influential people, spanning multiple levels of industry, and harnessing that inward wherewithal to become a successful leader.
“Lolly Daskal is one of the most sought-after executive leadership coaches in the world. Her extensive cross-cultural expertise spans 14 countries, six languages and hundreds of companies. As founder and CEO of ‘Lead From Within’, her proprietary leadership program is engineered to be a catalyst for leaders who want to enhance performance and make a meaningful difference in their companies, their lives, and the world. Of Lolly’s many awards and accolades, Lolly was designated a Top-50 Leadership and Management Expert by Inc. magazine. Huffington Post honored Lolly with the title of The Most Inspiring Woman in the World. Her writing has appeared in HBR, Inc.com, Fast Company (Ask The Expert), Huffington Post, Psychology Today, and many others. Her newest book, The Leadership Gap: What Gets Between You and Your Greatness has become a national bestseller.”
Lolly’s prowess and almost instinctual level of understanding on how to develop leadership on a personal level clearly shines through on this episode. Make sure to head over to Lolly’s website where you can follow her latest blog posts, track her latest speaking engagements, and even reach out to her personally at lollydaskal.com. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes back familiar voice and fan favorite John Carman to the show. With even more to cover with the events that have transpired over the last few weeks, John once again calls upon his past experiences as an agent to provide some fantastic insight to the chaos that is.
A long term veteran of law enforcement and seeing a career that has spanned across several decades, John Carman has served as a member of The Secret Service (protecting the President, First Family, and many other prominent heads of state), worked as a San Diego Police officer, US Mint Police (protecting gold bullion at the US Federal Depository in San Francisco), and as an agent for the US Customs and Border Patrol. While John holds an esteemed career, this is not where his notoriety comes from. Maintaining a belief in the oath that he took, John believed that the proper response to the corruption that he was witnessing was to report it. This whistleblowing has led him to be put on a proverbial blacklist and have “tainted” reputation. This has yet to deter John and continues to push forward in exposing the truth.
One does not have to pay close attention to the news right now to have heard of the large migrant caravan heading towards the US border. Pushing up through South America and now into Mexico the caravan continues northward. While many at surface level may feel for these peoples and their search for whatever it is they are after; if one takes a moment a looks a little deeper, one will find more questions than answers. Who initiated this caravan? Who is driving the motivation for this group? Where have they acquired the current supply cache they currently have, and lastly, is it not strangely coincidental that this caravan all of sudden appeared a few weeks prior to these critical mid-term elections? Actual group of people looking for a better future or Soros led distraction? You decide.
John as usual provides fantastic insight into the way that he perceives the events that are currently plaguing our news outlets and has no shortage of opinions. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes back a guest from far too long ago, but may still be someone that you recognize. Known for his “macabre menacing characters with an undercurrent of melancholy” from Tony Commando to Abraham Lincoln, the very talented Bill Oberst Junior. Bill joins Jim to discuss his life as an actor, his love and history of horror, and dives into what is considered controversial ideas today.
“Bill Oberst Jr. is an American actor of stage and screen whose real-life gentleness and interest in things spiritual are at odds with his often macabre screen persona. Ron Chaney, great-grandson of Lon Chaney, presented Oberst with the first Lon Chaney Award for Outstanding Achievement in Independent Horror Films in 2014.Perhaps most widely-known internationally as the face of director Jason Zada's Take This Lollipop, awarded a Daytime Emmy Award by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in the category of New Approaches-Daytime Entertainment. Oberst has been seen by over 100 million viewers worldwide as an online stalker in the interactive application for Facebook users”.
With the rise of the equality movements that we see today, there is one trope that is still surprisingly prevalent today. The ever classic horror movie staple damsel in distress is seen just as often today as it was sixty years ago when classic horror made its break into the scene. This is unique in the fact that with so many of the “stereotypes” that were common place in movies past having been done away with, this one still stands. Why is that? Let us know why you think so in the comments or through Twitter.
Bill also shares his insight to red carpet events, what drew him into acting, his love for horror, and much more. Bill is a fantastic guest with a great story to tell. You can follow him through most social media outlets or through his website billoberst.com, and keep an eye out for his latest movie, the Rob Zombie directed 3 from Hell to come out in 2019. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes (for the third…or fourth time?) back the one and only Pop Culture Professor, Dr. Rebecca Housel. Bringing her expert insight and knowledge to the table, Rebecca discusses the future of comics, Gamergate, Millennial culturalism, Kanye at the Whitehouse and much more.
Rebecca Housel, Ph. D. is an author and editor of both fiction and nonfiction in popular culture, philosophy, film, and more. Housel was a teacher and a professor of English for fifteen years. Housel is listed in the Directory of American Poets and writers for her works in nonfiction and is a sponsored member of the National Association of Science Writers for her essays on cancer. Housel is renowned as a feminist scholar and social theorist
The “digital revolution” has changed the way that we take in media. Whether it be the movies we download or the latest album we stream right from our phone, it is safe to say that physical copies have gone the way of the buffalo.(This pendulum seems to be shifting back the other direction though. With vinyl sales growing exponentially over the years and even cassettes making a comeback) No other medium has truly felt the brunt of this movement quite like the print industry. Newspapers are long extinct, the white-pages are an ancient artifact that turns up on your doorstep from time to time, and magazines are quickly becoming relics of a bygone era. (You see more kids glued to a screen in a doctor’s office than you do picking up an outdated copy Highlights) However, the one that has surprisingly held on for as long as it has is that of the comic book world. While it may be hard to imagine a store book-rack without the latest superhero adventures, even major powerhouses such as Marvel are prepping for the inevitable and offering fully digital subscription services for your favorite hero.
The current atmosphere within the news lately has been a strange one to say the least. While a number of the events have been completely polarizing (and we will not get into those, another discussion for another day) we can all agree on the fact that the old saying that your past will haunt you, and that truth really is stranger than fiction. Rebecca recounts an interview that she had where the individual asks her what her (in a condemning manner) thoughts were about a section of a book that a friend of hers wrote that has a far more different meaning today. Rebecca also laments that she fears stuff she has said in the past will come back to bite her. It is safe to say that all of this “gotcha” movement has gotten out of control, and things are being used in contexts that are blown far out of proportion. Side Note, Chuck Klosterman’s Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs is a fantastic read and celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.
Rebecca is always a fantastic to have on, and this episode is no exception. Her insight to the deeper than we perceive world of pop culture is enlightening, her wit is classic, and she keeps the conversation flowing. Be sure to head over to her website rebeccahousel.com to catch up on her latest blog and adventures and her works can be purchased through any major online retailer. Instrumental Transcommunication (or ITC) is known the world over within the paranormal communities as being an absolute staple (if not the cornerstone) to any type of investigation. Now, for the few that may be unfamiliar with the concept, ITC is the utilization of varying electronic devices to communicate with the other side. This could range from a hacked radio, to various electronic applications, or countless other audio and visual devices. Over the years, the devices have become more advanced with increasing evidence that points to that there really is something there. But what if the tables were turned? Instead of us using devices to reach out to connect with the spirit world, what if spirits used our ordinary mundane devices (such as cell phones and voicemail) to try and connect with us? That is where this week’s guests on The Malliard Report come in to the mix. Jimmy Petonito and William Hall (not to be confused with Bill Hall of the Milwaukee Brewers) join Jim on this episode to discuss their latest book Phantom Messages: Chilling Phone Calls, Letters, Emails, and Texts from Unknown Realms.
In this book Jimmy and William investigate the unique phenomena of people experiencing phone call and voice messages from either unknown sources or even from friends and relatives that have since passed on. Stories of premonitions of hearing one’s own death, greetings from lost loved ones, and even the tragedy and horror of the events that transpired in September of 2001. Within the book you will “…Discover life-altering direct contact by phone, computer, TV, radio, letter, and other mediums. From whom? Entities, loved ones, extraterrestrials, and bizarre beings from the past or future. They take photos, deliver warnings, cause havoc, transcend time, and more. At times you can hear past and future events in progress. Sometimes messages are friendly and welcoming, such as Thomas Harden from the year 1521. Other times? Your worst nightmare.”
This is a very unique mystery within the realm of paranormal that does not get enough attention and is certainly worth more research that what has already been given it. It is crazy to not think that there may be those on the other side attempting to communicate with us on this side of the ethereal plane. These stories along with the fascination of the urban legends of past (that are slowly dying out) are what drove Jimmy and William to start on the path of writing this book. While their subject material may be heavy and mysterious, as guests they are an absolute crack up, so this will certainly be a show that you enjoy.
If you are in the Connecticut region you may be able to catch them at a book signing or a meet and greet but for everyone else, their book can be found through major online retailers and their website halloftheparanormal.com. Remember to head over to malliard.com to catch up on past shows, sign up for the newsletter, and learn more about guests and the host. No matter what side of the “political fence” you sit on (or if you even believe that there are sides at all) there is absolutely no denying that the current “fake news” movement is causing a number of problems. With many of the larger online entities (e.g., Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) nerfing most of their searches so as to weed out thoughts and ideas that differ from that of the “mainstream” and even outright banning personalities and shows, it is safe to say that the whole thing is mess. However, not all hope is to be lost in an Orwellian dystopia. More and more it is becoming apparent that a push back against the censorship is taking place. One example of this would be the legal battle that is taking place between Alex Jones and PayPal. We will not get into a discussion about Jones in this particular time and place, but it is refreshing to see someone taking a stance. (Love him or hate him, you have to give him that.)
This week’s first guest (This show is a great two for episode. Or would it be more of a BOGO? Either way you get a great deal) is no stranger to the truculent approach to alternative media and continues to see a rise in popularity due to the jingoism of the “mainstream” media. The Gateway Pundit founder and journalist Jim Hoft joins Jim Malliard to discuss numerous events that are taking place in the circus that fills our newsfeeds: From the cesspit and clique mentality of the Whitehouse Press pool, the censorship coming down from the tech giants to Hoft’s scheduled testimony on Capitol Hill, the discussion is incredibly informative. Hoft and Malliard also discuss the very peculiar events that have transpired in Alamogordo New Mexico over the last few weeks at a solar observatory. The FBI has shut down the observatory for unknown “security reasons.” Other than the generic “security reasons”, no further information has been given, but large teams, and even black hawk helicopters have been seen in the area. Whatever is going on there is obviously something big and is not being reported in odd “fringe” publications either. This story ran in Popular Mechanics.
Following the interview with Jim Hoft, Jim Malliard then shifts gears drastically and welcomes a returning guest to the show, Daniel Abella. Daniel has previously graced the show in regards to the Phillip K. Dick film festival but this week he his promoting an entirely new “experience.” When people often hear the term “psychedelic” they assume that one is referring to various substances that cause an altered mental state. Many believe that the only means to reach these other planes of existence is to undergo a substance-induced state, but Daniel’s newest undertaking is out to prove this wrong. The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival is an exhibition of music, film, and art that is supposed to take the viewer to a whole new level. Psychedelia is about substance, but substance of material.
This is great double episode that covers two completely different topics but still a great episode as a whole. You can follow all of Jim Hoft’s latest news and information sources over at thegatewaypundit.com or on Twitter @gatewaypundit . “I ask for, not at once no government, but at once a better government…that government is best which governs not at all; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have.” These words penned by the great American essayist, poet, philosopher, abolitionist, naturalist, tax resister, development critic, surveyor, and historian, Henry David Thoreau; the prominent subject matter of this week’s guest on The Malliard Report.
This week, Jim welcomes Cathryn McIntyre to the show. Cathryn is “…an indie author and researcher who has studied the literary history of Concord Massachusetts for over 25 years in both university and independent settings. She is a natural psychic, an astrologer, occasional ghost hunter, and an avid genealogist with ancestral ties to the Mayflower and to historical writers Margaret Fuller and Henry David Thoreau. Cathryn is also known for her works The Thoreau Whisperer: Channeling the Spirit of Henry David Thoreau and Honor in Concord: Seeking Spirit in Literary Concord. Additionally, she is currently working on a fictional story that takes places in the seaside town of Marblehead Massachusetts.
On this episode, Jim and Cathryn dive deep into the philosophical playground that many of the thinkers of the past frequented regularly yet is widely abandoned in today’s modern movements. With the very pointed and blunt question “where are the real thinkers of today” being asked; a great conversation follows, however, one is left wondering that very same sentiment. With an absolute saturation of vapidity, narcissism and “insta”-gratification that is generated by an almost all-encompassing kiddie-pool level depth one cannot help but think this very same thought. One can only hope for a modern renaissance, but until then…”smash that like button, and don’t forget to subscribe.”
Cathryn is a fantastic guest that opens up on many different levels and topics for this episode. From her work as a medium and channeling writer to her experiences as an abductee, her thoughts on Ouija boards, and even when and how a person can open themselves up for spirit attachment. Cathryn is a very skilled writer and her enthusiasm shines through in her writings. You are able to purchase her works through major online retailers and of course, you can catch up with all of her latest through her website theconcordewriter.com. September 11, 2001 is a day that will certainly live in infamy. A day that just about everyone (now considering there is a generation that is too young to remember the events of that day) remembers exactly where they were when the news broke. While this particular topic is one of regular interest on The Malliard Report, we will be taking a different approach from what we usually do. We will be setting aside the conspiratorial hat, and simply looking at the happenings of that tragic day.
There are many theories to what happened, why it happened, and to whom the blame falls upon, but we will not be focusing on that this week. All too often we become so focused on the conspiracies that shroud the day in mystery we forget that a catastrophic amount of life was lost on that day. Brave firefighters answering the calls of the unknown, unsuspecting office workers, and countless others fell victim to the event. We need to take time to remember those that suffered; those who lost loved ones, and not let the gravity of the day be forgotten.
This is a special episode because we get to hear reflections from several different prominent people, and their take on the situation as whole. First up is best selling author Jim DeFelice. Most notably recognized for his work American Sniper, Jim shares his experiences while working in New York. Following Jim DeFelice is political tycoon Roger Stone, never short of great insight, Roger gives his take on the day, and lastly the Malliard favorite, Germantown runner shares what life was like on the east coast during the tumultuous weeks that followed.

This week on The Malliard Report we dive into the one of the most terror inducing, regularly vilified, and demonically charged pieces of cardboard and plastic marketed by Hasbro; yes, the Ouija board. Other than playing Monopoly with family members, never has a board game been more dividing among so many people. Is it really a gateway tool of the damned? Is it another form of ITC; no different than an SB-7, digital recorder, Wonderbox, or many other devices used today in paranormal research? Or is it one of the best and longest lasting marketing campaigns used by a toy manufacturer to date? This week’s guest on The Malliard Report, Karen Dahlman, dives right into the topic and provides some really good insight into the usage and history of the infamous Ouija.
“Karen is known as a leading, expert Ouijaologist. Since 1973, Karen has been directly communicating with her Spirit Friends via the Ouija® Board and through other means. She is a channel for a collective group of light beings of Source Wisdom who come forth to share the Wisdom of the Ages. Their divinely inspired messages help us discover our greatest joys and possibilities for living the life of our dreams through self-empowering choices. Currently, Karen continues to push the boundaries of consciousness as she explores, researches and communicates with this expansive and sentient Source energy. Karen is the host of Creative Visions TV where she further explores the unseen energies and dimensions with her guests.”
Depending on the school of thought, the roots of the Ouija board can be traced back to the rise of various mediumship techniques to come out of Victorian paranormal craze or various ancient channeling methods used across many different peoples from all around the globe. However, the demonization can very easily be traced back to a particular movie released in 1973. The priest hating, pea soup spitting phenom that swept theaters left a nasty mark on the Ouija’s reputation that is still felt to this day.
So what is your take on the Ouija? Is it something that should be avoided? Is it something that bored teenagers use to scare themselves at sleepovers? Is it something that can be used to channel the other side? Let us know your thoughts be reaching out to us through the website malliard.com or via Twitter @Malliard. “Bernard Abbey’s life was routine, stagnant, and lonely. That all changed the day she entered his life. To save him from being killed, a mysterious young woman transports Bernard to another point in time. As he comes to grips with what has happened, Bernard realizes his new friend is unable to speak. She cannot tell him who she is, where she came from, or how she can travel through time. Even worse, she’s unable to tell him what is chasing her. As she takes him back and forth in time, they cross paths with strangers who claim to know his new friend, each with a different story of her origin. The only thing he knows for certain is that the fate of humanity’s idyllic future is somehow connected with his new companion.”
This is the premise of the newly released novel from this week’s guest on The Malliard Report. On this episode Jim welcomes author J.D. Sanderson to the show to discuss his book, his life as a writer, the Orwellian path that media is continues to head down, and his love for all things Star Trek. J.D. is a busy writer from South Dakota where he shares life with his wife, new baby daughter, and miniature poodle that keeps him more on the go than the baby. Join us as Jim and J.D. discuss Sci-Fi, unpopular opinions, bourbon, and interesting historical figures.

This week on The Malliard Report Jim pulls a fan favorite and opens up the topics and phone lines to the live listeners. So join us as we break from the norm, and hit on a topic that is Malliard first; the automobile industry.
While some may view cars as simply a means to get from Point A to Point B, there are many others hold a true passion for working on, or simply the enjoying the engineering marvels that they can be. From the early classics, to rat rods, muscle cars, and the insane world of hyper cars, there is something for everyone. However there seems to be a pandemic that is sweeping manufacturers, and it is not for the good.
Next time you are out and about, pay attention to the cars around you; on the road, in the parking lots, parked in your neighbor’s garage. Notice anything? If you said small SUVs, then you would be correct. The “compact crossover” is the latest in the trends of automobile manufacturing. While often loaded with nice creature comforts, the vehicles themselves are typically unusably small, bland looking, and lack functionality. There is no one particular car maker that the blame can be placed on due to every maker has at least two or three models of this type of vehicle. So much in fact that in a stunning move, Ford recently stated that outside of the Mustang, Ford will no longer make cars; only trucks and SUVs.
To simply explain a move like this, it is safe to say that most car builders are uninspired, and focused strictly on profits. Every maker is as guilty as the other. The Detroit muscle car wars of the late 60s and early 70s, and the small coupe’ shoot outs from the 90s and early 00s, given way to Toyota Priuses and Buck Enclaves. Without looking at the badges themselves it is almost impossible to distinguish a Corolla from an Accord.
While it may seem the world has turned to neutral tones and bulbous shapes, not all hope is lost. While the makers continue to pump out boring, destination to destination, tools, not all hope is lost. A number of the domestic manufacturers are starting to step out of the grey and present trophies of craftsmanship. With the Demon and Hellcat from Dodge, the insane ZR-1 from Chevrolet, and the incredibly impressive Shelby GT-350 from Ford, there is a light in the dark tunnel. Now, before you go up in arms “What about Pagani? What about Koenigsegg? How about the Nurburgring record smashing lap put up by the new Aventador SVJ?” This argument is for the cars that are available to us in the everyday world. Super and Hyper car builders continue to produce awe inspiring creations both mechanically and visually, but this is not available to the everyday Joe.
This is a fun episode and does not focus solely on cars, but it is a different topic that is always open for a good discussion. Remember to head over to malliard.com to sign up for the newsletter, catch up on previous shows, and so much more. You can connect with The Report via Twitter @Malliard.
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes back a returning guest, however the interview is a lot more different than the previous time this guest was on the show. Barry Strohm is back for this episode but it is not Jim interviewing Barry, or Barry and Jim discussing paranormal and unusual topics; Jim interviews several individuals…in the hereafter…through Barry. Yes. You read that right. This week, Barry conducts a channeling session with Jim and answers to questions that have been plaguing Jim for some time have finally been answered.
Barry and his wife are able to conduct spirit communication sessions through the means of channeling via a channeling board (similar to that of a Ouija) to garner information on the subjects of life after death, reincarnation, aliens on Earth, conspiracy theories, and many other topics. During these sessions Barry has sought out the spirit guidance of many historical giants in order to gain clarity on number of topics and in doing so has made contact with John F. Kennedy, Ulysses S. Grant, George Custer, Buddy Holly, John the Baptist, and many others.
During this session Barry connects with several spirits that are tied to Jim. One of a Confederate Civil War solider, and one of a very boisterous and jovial prankster. This is certainly entertaining episode and one worth checking out. Make sure to look for Barry’s books on all major online retailers or head over to his website spritspredict.com for all of the latest predictions, news, and readings. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a guest with a name that you may not have heard of, but a voice that you have heard. With a career that spans film, television, and even gaming; Robert Clotworthy’s career is incredibly expansive and exciting. From his most notable and current role as the voiceover on History Channel’s Ancient Aliens and The Curse of Oak Island to characters in the hugely successful Grand Theft Auto V and the ever classic StarCraft. Join Jim as he dives in with one of the most recognizable voices in today’s entertainment industry.
“A Master in the Chinese Martial Art of Kung Fu San Soo, he’s found that the discipline, awareness and attention to detail has helped him develop and add layers to the many characters he has created. An example of this is Robert’s portrayal of fan favorite, Jim Raynor, in Blizzard Entertainment’s award winning StarCraft” Video Game Series. Named one of the top ten gaming heroes of all time.”
“In feature films Robert has worked with numerous acclaimed directors and stars including Bette Midler and James Caan in Mark Rydel’s WWII epic For the Boys, Seth Rogen in The Green Hornet, Alan Arkin in Rendition, Robin Williams in One Hour Photo and Kristen Bell in Pulse. Robert is also one of the most sought after narrators on television, lending his voice to hundreds of hours of programs. George Lucas chose Robert as the narrator of the Emmy nominated documentaries Empire of Dreams: The Making of The Star Wars Trilogy and Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed. In 2017 Robert won the prestigious SOVAS award presented at New York‘s Lincoln Center in the category of Outstanding Narration, Best Voiceover for his work on Ancient Aliens.”

To rehash the events that transpired on that fateful November 1963 day in Dealey Plaza would be rather redundant. Additionally, if there is still any belief that Oswald was a lone, nutcase gunman, then you may want to put listening to this episode on a hold for a bit and do a little bit of digging on your own. For the rest of you, Jim welcomes retired Air Force Major and historical researcher and archivist Ralph Ganis to the show. While there are many researchers into this subject, Ralph has a unique insight that others have not had at their disposal. A rare collections of records and documents from former Senior Nazi Officer Otto Skorzeny that reveal deep connections to Kennedy’s assassination.
Otto Skorzeny was an Austrian born SS-Obersturmbannführer (lieutenant colonel) in the Waffen-SS during World War II. During the war, he was involved in a string of operations, including the removal of Hungarian Regent Miklós Horthy from power and the rescue mission that freed the deposed Italian dictator Benito Mussolini from captivity. Skorzeny led Operation Greif, in which German soldiers infiltrated enemy lines using their opponents' languages, uniforms, and customs. For this he was charged at the Dachau Military Tribunal with breaching the 1907 Hague Convention, but was acquitted. Skorzeny escaped from an internment camp in 1948, hiding out on a Bavarian farm for 18 months, then spent time in Paris and Salzburg before eventually settling in Spain. In 1953 he became a military advisor to Egyptian President Mohammed Naguib and recruited a staff of former SS and Wehrmacht officers to train the Egyptian Army, staying on to advise President Gamal Abdel Nasser. In 1962, Skorzeny was recruited by the Mossad and conducted operations for the agency. He spent time in Argentina, where he acted as an advisor to President Juan Perón and as a bodyguard for Eva Perón. Skorzeny died of lung cancer on 5 July 1975 in Madrid at the age of 67.
Ganis’ latest book, The Skorenzy Papers uncovers the post-World War II activities of the former Nazi officer of which at one point was deemed one of the “most dangerous men in Europe.” Within these pages it is revealed that Skorenzy’s activities branched much further than that of South American nations and in fact was a front for many US based covert operations. This includes revealing many ties to players and business that lead to one of the most tragic events in US history, the murder of John F. Kennedy. While the book does not point to a shooter or blame a particular culprit as so many others attempt to do, Ganis reveals concrete evidence of key players tied to the event and the means used to get to their positions.
Unlike some “researchers” Ganis is not simply a fan of history and YouTube channel. Ralph has made archiving and researching history a part of his career, and has been very successful at it. In fact he was awarded the Perry Award in 1997 for discoveries on the James Gang and the Admiral Chester W. Nimitz Award for excellence in archival research. He was the historic collections consultant for the movie the Assassination of Jesse James. Ganis has a Master of Science of Strategic Intelligence from the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Ralph provides some incredible insight to one of the possible biggest players in the Kennedy assassination as well as gives history on one of the most interesting yet relatively unknown historical figures from the Second World War. You can find Ralph Ganis’ books through any major online retailer in both digital and hardcopy forms. Digital wearables, human micro-shipping, and training yourself to be able to achieve the very best that you can (even your golf swing); expert of the personal betterment Morry Zelcovitch joins Jim once again on this episode of The Malliard Report to discuss the aforementioned as well as other potentially controversial technology trends found today.
Morry Zelcovitch thought he had hit rock bottom. Severe depression encompassed his entire existence. Seeking to pacify the pain through any number of addictive vices (drugs, booze, sex, and many others), Morry eventually reached the point to where none of those even sufficed in dulling the pain. After multiple, unsuccessful suicide attempts Morry decided that this was his turning point, and something needed to change.
Mory soon noticed that certain sounds and tones would affect his mental state in a more positive manner: a new path was being laid before him that would change himself and many others. Not satisfied with the results he was seeing from the small amounts of material that was available at the time, Mory began his own pursuit. Seeking information from one of the top sources within the Brainwave Engineering field, Mory quickly reached a level of expert status and ventured out into fine tuning the best of materials for positive reinforcement. The Mory Method continues to astound listeners around the world and has received critical acclaim through a major university study at top Brazilian university.
If you own a pet, you more than likely have it micro-chipped. In the event that your precious little furry snuggle buddy happens to get out, this chip will help in the speedy recovery of your friend. We as pet owners think nothing of it. If we lose them, we want to be able to find them quickly. So what about using this same idea on humans? Why is there all of a sudden such a contrasting difference? You stick a trackable device in Fido with zero hesitation, but if mentioned within a human usage it suddenly becomes evil. This certainly could become something that is beneficial for Alzheimer patients or those suffering from dementia. However, it does allow for access to incredible amounts of evil. If all information (banking, vitals, etc.) is stored on these implantable chips, what is keeping someone from shutting them off, essentially leaving the individual a virtual ghost? No identity, money, and so on. Could this be a fulfillment of biblical prophecy? Revelation 13:16 (ESV) does state “Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark…”
Jim and Morry also discuss the benefits of wearable tech such as smartwatches, and ways to improve on your short game. Morry is a fantastic guest and his story is certainly one worth taking notice of. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Stephen Erkintalo to the show to discuss the future of paratainment and his new approaches to ghost hunting. Stephen is host and investigator for the newest paranormal show “Haunted Tours” on Amazon Prime.
In a field that is becoming more and more difficult to establish any sort of footing, Stephen sets himself aside by bringing a level shock to the field of paranormal investigating that has yet to be seen. Armed with a Ouija tattooed on his chest, a larger than life personality, and a propensity for showmanship Stephen takes one of the most interesting approached to paranormal investigating to date in hopes to gather new evidence in proof of the paranormal. During the first season of “Haunted Tours” Stephen has used his own blood along with ashes from a deceased family member on a Ouija board, spent an extended time laying on an active set of train tracks, and in season two plans on being buried inside of a coffin all in hopes to garner evidence not yet seen.
This begs the question however of what really is the state of paranormal investigating? As it seems as though the sun has set on the field in the eye of the general public, it appears that paranormal investigating has once again taken residence in the “underground.” With many teams publishing their evidence on alternative mediums such as YouTube, and like “Haunted Tours” utilizing Amazon Prime, the big time syndicated investigations have all but disappeared. (With the exception of few more commonly known shows) So will this allow for more organic evidence to once again make its way to the surface?
You can catch up on all of season one of “Haunted Tours” through Amazon Prime and to keep up to date with Stephen you can follow him on Twitter @ErkintaloS. This week on the Malliard Report Jim welcomes Barry Strohm to the show to discuss his work as particular and peculiar type of host. Barry is an author, medium, lecturer, and antique dealer (what better way to bring more spirits into your day to day right?) that speaks to the other side, learning truths about the spirit realm, past lives, aliens, conspiracies, and much more. The contacts that Barry has made on the other side are certainly some heavy hitting names that will leave you in total disbelief.
Barry has a very unique approach when contact spirits on the other side. Unlike most mediums where the focus is solely on simply making contact, or asking questions about family, or if they are happy on the other side, Barry uses his gift to answer the unknown questions, especially those shrouded in conspiracy. Barry has spoken to JFK about who the real assassin was (sniper on top of the book repository, one of several shooters in place, ordered by LBJ to pull the trigger) the true fate of John Wilkes Booth (there have been multiple accounts of him living to an old age in Texas) and insight to one of the most enigmatic skyjackings of all time; the ever mysterious D.B. Cooper.
Barry’s connection with the spirit realm is certainly one worth taking note, and his stories are just as entertaining. Especially about a cantankerous spirit that does not like the music in his antique store. You can visit Barry’s website spiritspredict.com to get information on previous sessions and see his large collection of spirit photography that he has captured over the years. You can also reach out to Barry via his Facebook group where he hosts many live events. All of Barry’s books can be found through online retailers such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble so be sure to check those out.

The beauty of the human language is something that often goes overlooked by most, but to a small few, the intricacies and detail are studied and revered. How one annunciates a particular word can give very specific details as to where they are from, how they were raised, and so much more. This week’s guests on The Malliard Report are both very familiar with the fantastic workings of language and have built esteemed careers upon this linguistic fascination.
The first guest that we would like to introduce is Natalie Schilling. Natalie is the Director of Sociolinguistics Concentration at the highly regarded Georgetown University. “Natalie Schilling specializes in sociolinguistics, especially the quantitative investigation of language variation and change and how it is shaped by, and helps shape, social factors such as regionality, ethnicity and gender. She is particularly interested in stylistic (i.e. intra-speaker) variation and forensic linguistics. She directs the department’s ongoing sociolinguistic investigation of Language and Communication in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area (LCDC), as well as Smith Island Voices, a real and apparent time study of the endangered dialect community of Smith Island, Maryland. She is the author of Sociolinguistic Fieldwork, co-author of American English: Dialects and Variation, and co-editor of The Handbook of Language Variation and Chang.” Natalie also has a personal connection with second guest on this episode and who happens to be a favorite returning guest, James Fitzgerald. Natalie was a professor of James’ while he attended Georgetown.
James is a former FBI profiler and linguist with an extensive resume that includes work with the FBI on very high profile cases such as the Unabomber, and The DC Sniper, a consultant for several popular television series such as Criminal Minds, and an established author with multiple publications to his name. So join us as James shares his experiences on raiding Ted Kaczynski’s cabin, finding break throughs on the sniper case, and his work with Hollywood.
This is a great episode and focuses on a very interesting subject matter. Natalie and James are extremely well versed within their fields and can only be referred to as experts. You can find Natalie’s book through Amazon and Audible. James’ books as well can be found through Amazon and you can connect with James via Twitter @JFitzJourney . “When you’re 200 miles up, it is easy to hide what you are up to…” While the recent declaration of the implement of another branch of the military creating a Space Force has generated a lot of buzz, it by no means is anything new. While the current administration’s recent move has many disclosure movement fans frothing at the mouth, the actual reason may be far more mundane on the surface level to the everyday person. This week Jim reaches out across his expanse resources to get insight and speculation as to what the real driving factor of the creation of a Space Force would be.
Some of the main responses from many different people with the announcement of the Space Force were “why have a space force? What do we need protection from in space?” and “do they know something we don’t?” Many people were asking if this was the first step into disclosure. Others brought up project Blue Beam and the potentiality of a staged alien invasion, and of course the simplest of reasons, (and the most likely) justification for bigger DoD contracts and defense spending budgets.
Project Blue Beam, while not one of the more commonly known conspiracy theories, is still a large scale one that does deserve some recognition within this regard. Project Blue Beam is suggested a staged alien invasion will incur so as to allow for a government “unification” to stand against the impending “invasion.” It is theorized that the invasion will be nothing more than holographic type projections and the “unveiling” of advanced military aircraft. Many have laughed this idea off, but the theory seems to stay around for being so farfetched, and that may have to do with one of the most prominent individuals to speak of such a thing.
One of the most renowned names in space exploration is that of Wernher Von Braun. Former NAZI scientist granted amnesty during Operation Paperclip, Von Braunn was the brains behind many of the designs of rocket technology used through the infancy of the US space program. While during the early part of his career Von Braun sought to stake the largest claim in the final frontier, he later became one of the most outspoken individuals against the drive to weaponized space. He is quoted saying “…space based weapons are dumb, dangerous, destabilizing, too costly, unnecessary, unworkable, and an undesirable idea…” This change of heart is something certainly worth paying attention to, it does not address the Operation Blue Beam connection. In addition to his stance against weaponized space, Von Braun made it known that there were powers that be that were planning such staged events so as to allow them total control. The story would not play out as a straight alien invasion, but rather a slow build up so as to not to raise too many eyebrows at the buildup of greater and greater weapons. Looking back at Von Braun’s words and taking a peek through what happened in history, the two eerily coincide with one another.
Von Braun stated that the first enemy would be the Russians. He said that there would be claims of killer satellites and various other deadly technologies. With that we have the cold war, the space race, and the arms build ups of both the USSR and modern Russia. Strangely enough that narrative is once again coming back to the forefront of headlines. Following the Russians, Von Braun said the next enemy would be “third world crazies”. Today we see never ending “skirmishes” throughout the Middle East and northern Africa. Von Braun states that following the “third world crazies” would be asteroids. This would cause a need for the US to build space based weapons so as to destroy the asteroid. (How many articles have you seen lately about asteroids “just missing Earth”?) Then in a just so happens sense, we will have these space based weapons and the aliens will then show up. Von Braun stated “the final card is the aliens…we’re going to have to build the weapons against the aliens.
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes actress, vocalist, Nobel nominee, and activist Cynthia Basinet to the show. Cynthia joins us to discuss her career and introduction into the world of music, her humanitarian, efforts, and how mass produced “high fashion” is destroying the truly independent clothiers and artist.
For they had displayed faith, honour, compassion and resourcefulness in the face of such opposition.”
Cynthia is very passionate in what she does and that is clearly evident in the way she speaks on subjects that she loves. Cynthia is also a firm believer in maintaining true to one’s self and not falling into the trap of worrying about what other people think you should be doing. You can keep up with Cynthia’s latest through her website www.cynthiabasinet.com or Twitter @cynthiabasinet . This week on The Malliard Report Jim brings back experienced guest and author Nick Redfern to discuss the topics of his latest book The Black Diary: M.I.B, Women in Black, Black-Eyed Children, and Dangerous Books.
In this book Nick reveals the very latest information on the sinister Men in Black, the chilling
Women in Black, and one of the “newer” topics to arise in the paranormal and strange, and the Black- Eyed Children.
Black-Eyed Children (or Black Eyed Kids – B.E.K.) are one of the newer phenomena to crop up in the realm of paranormal and unusual. While the mainstream genesis of the topic is often associated with Texas reporter Brian Bethel on a ghost related mailing list. Several stories surrounding the topic filled thepages of the mailer back in 1996, however, there were stories of the black-eyed children cropping up in the 1950s. Bethel’s first encounters were alleged in 1996 in Abilene, Texas while claiming to know of someone that has had similar experiences in Portland, Oregon around the same time. Bethel’s stories have become so popular that they are regarded as classic examples of creepypasta and that he has put out a FAQ “just to keep up with demand for more info about the new urban legend.” Bethel also was able to share his story on the television series Monsters and Mysteries in America.
The question that surrounds the Black-Eyed Children is what they exactly are. Often when encountered these “children” are found in remote locations along roads or homes asking to be let in by the “victim.”
They are described as very pale, with black eyes, and typically wearing oversized and outdated clothes, usually asking for a favor (food, use of a phone, etc.) from the individual experiencing the encounter. It is also often reported that following an encounter with the Black-Eyed Children people will feel ill, drained of energy, and often report nightmares involving the “child” they met. With this, there are many different theories as to what they are. Some believe them to be demonic in nature (the persistent asking to be “let in”), others say that they are vampiric in nature due to the often energy draining side effects after an encounter, and even stories of being similar to the Jinn in Arabic religions.
While there are many theories to what the Black-Eyed Children are, one thing is for certain, the idea of demonic children trying to force themselves into your home is a bit unsettling.
Nick Redfern is a familiar and welcomed voice to The Malliard Report and it is always a pleasure to have him as a guest. You can order any of Nick’s books on online retailers and follow him though his website www.nickredfernfortean.blogspot.com

Deep within the south eastern parts of the United States a culmination of spiritualism, Christianity, and an element of conjuring evolved into a practice that is best known as Hoodoo. Brought to the North American continent due to the transatlantic slave trade, it represents a blend of practices from the peoples of the Congo, Benin, Togo, Nigeria, and several others. Due to the lack of religious practices in an open manner of the enslaved individuals and a want for something to hold on to, the practice of Hoodoo garnered traction rather quickly in the densely slave populated Mississippi Delta region. Even while practiced under a strong veil of secrecy, the movement gained rapid momentum with its elements of contact with the other side, spiritual balance, retributive justice, and self-improvement (e.g. luck).
One of the most commonly associated elements of both Hoodoo and Voodoo is that of the Voodoo doll. Often a small effigy with pins pushed through and stereotypically tied with malice intent, the iconic symbol actually holds far more than just afflicting pain onto your enemy’s spleen. These dolls, (often called “gris-gris”) offer things such as protection, healing, luck, and even have the ability to open one up to becoming an empath/sympath and tapping into the other side.
That segues into this week’s guest Paul Kershaw. Paul joins Jim this week to share one of the most interesting stories to date. When Paul was a child, he and his father one day were walking along a beach when Paul spotted something that caught his eye. Picking up the object Paul found the pin filled doll to be interesting but his father quickly intervened making him toss it aside. Not paying much mind to it at first, Paul’s world would soon quickly change. Later that evening, milling about his kitchen Paul soon found himself passed out on the floor and a new door opened.
In this episode Paul Kershaw shares his fascinating stories about becoming an empath, seeing a UFO, crossing paths with demonic entities in Haiti, and his fateful ride with the devil. This one is certainly worth a listen. Remember to keep up with all the latest with The Malliard Report via www.malliard.com and connect with us via Twitter @Malliard
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes back a guest that has become a favorite of the show. Taking some time out of his very busy schedule, the voice of late night himself, George Noory sits down with Jim to discuss the recent flurry of unusual current events, the passing of the legendary Art Bell, the pain and joys in talk radio/broadcasting, and his most recent book release Mad as Hell.
Noory is known best for his role as host of the mass syndicated radio program Coast to Coast AM, but also holds a recurring guest role on the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens, and leads the Gaiam TV program Beyond Belief with George Noory. George is also published author with such titles as Someone is Hiding Something: What Happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, Talking to the Dead, and his most recent work Mad as Hell. Mad as Hell is an insight to the times in which we find ourselves where things seem more like a plot to a terrible movie more than life itself.
In Mad as Hell George takes pieces of the proverbial puzzle and insight that he has gained from his years hosting Coast to Coast and shows a bigger picture of what may be. One of the more stand out points in the book is the apparent reasoning behind countless wars and refugee crisis situations. George writes “…there’s something else afoot here besides the fighting and violence, the victims by the tens of millions, which we hear about on the news so often. There’s a bigger picture for which I’m trying to put all of these pieces of the puzzle together. I believe one of my roles on Coast to Coast is to see what this puzzle looks like when we have the whole picture. The pieces I have put together tell me that these endless, meaningless conflicts and the displacement of vast numbers of people, refuges by the tens of millions, is not an accidental consequence of wars fought over right or wrong but as a result of wars that premeditated, deliberate. What I am grasping is that there is an end result to all these purposeful conflicts – a one-rule world government, created in order to break the United States down to nothing so that it can’t defend itself…”
Art Bell’s passing in April 2018 certainly left a painful void in the world of talk radio and broadcasting. Truly a pioneer into a genre that we all know and love Art blazed a trail for many greats to start on. George openly shares how Art’s passing affected him but also recounts the legend he left behind.
George as always is a fantastic guest and his insight is spot on. You can hear George on Coast to Coast on over 650 nationwide affiliates or streaming through the website www.coastocoastam.com . You can purchase any of George’s books through Amazon or any other major retailer in either physical or digital mediums. The fascination with the hereafter has been something that humans have pondered over since we first set foot on this corporeal plane. The problem that has plagued this curiosity is the small detail of being able to venture on to the next realm requires that one…well…dies. With that, it has a tendency to make things a little more difficult in being able to report back ones findings.
It wasn’t until the late 19th century when a phenomena called expérience de mort imminente by French psychologist Victor Egger was studied. These “experience of imminent death” situations were further studied due to the claims of panoramic life reviews experienced by climbers during falls. Further study was then followed up in 1892 when a series of subjective observations by workers falling from scaffolds, war soldiers who suffered injuries, climbers who had fallen from heights or other individuals who had come close to death (near drownings, accidents) was reported. Eventually gaining traction as more than simply an anomalous perceptual experience or hallucination, the phenomenon was then described as a clinical syndrome and popularized thanks to the work of psychiatrist Raymond Moody who coined the term “Near Death Experience” or NDE.
On this episode of the Malliard Report, Jim welcomes Robert Kopecky to the show. Robert is a former animator and illustrator turned author and spiritual advisor/speaker. Robert’s change originally stemmed from a brush with death, however this was not his only journey to the other side. Robert experienced not one, but three near death experiences with each one being entirely different from the others. However, while these were different from each other, one common thread weaved between them and was an eventual take away and that is you do not have to die, to get to Heaven. Robert now has written two books that share how to find Heaven while still here on Earth and tours the nation attending various conferences sharing the same message.
Robert’s story is quite an interesting one and we don’t want to give it away here, so go ahead and give it a listen. To keep up to date with Robert’s latest blogs and thoughts head over to www.robertkopecky.blogspot.com or to contact Robert for events you can go to www.robertkopecky.com . You are able to purchase his books through Amazon and numerous other retailers. For all things Malliard heave over to www.malliard.com or connect via Twitter @Malliard
“Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable.”
“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity and conservation, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality, nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit.”
Love it or hate, change happens. How one accepts the change determines the outlook of the situation to the individual. For The Malliard Report, change is happening and it is all for good.
One of the worst things that anyone, no matter the field or situation, could do is become stagnant or complacent within their element. Doing the same thing over and over becomes predictable and hinders any opportunity for future growth. So what is trying to be said here? Well, if you have not picked up on it yet, The Malliard Report is undergoing a sort of metamorphosis.
Now before you dust off the pitch fork and light the torches, rest assured dear listener that these changes are all for the better. The Malliard Report is evolving, shifting to maintain relevancy with the times that we are in. While not completely straying away from the paranormal, but rather expanding into the alternative, topical, trending, and conspiratorial, The Malliard Report will be covering everything from the fringe to current events. Jim will still bring the tough questions in an interview format, but just to a wider base of topics.
So join us on this new adventure into deeper and more exciting waters. Make sure to keep up on all things Jim Malliard at www.malliard.com and via Twitter @Malliard. or Live Tuesday's at 9 pm eastern
Crawling out “from a dark, damp, stench infested laboratory that smells of decomposing bodies of tweakers and crack heads used in alien experimental research” is this week’s guest on The Malliard Report. With a name that conjures up images of melting heat, saguaro cacti that tower over the landscape, and creatures of all types waiting to kill you with some form of venomous bite or sting, but actually hailing from western Ohio; Arizona Tramp joins Jim to discuss UFOs, missing time incidents, and all the joy associated with podcasting.
The concept of missing time is an event that is widely associated with paranormal experiences, especially encounters with UFOs or aliens. While the event of the sighting or abduction is often the key focal point (as it should be), the whole missing time element is frequently overlooked. Strangely enough a subject that does not garner more attention in the alternative thinking communities, time and its oddities are becoming a growing topic of research and discussion in the fields of high level academia.
The idea of time and how it works is highly debated, but one thing that is quickly coming to an overall census is that the whole notion of how time works has been wrong. For most people, and for many years, time has been viewed as a linear object. While relatively, yes, this is the case (you are born, you live, you die…sorry for being totally blunt there, but it is the truth) however, as an actual “thing” it is completely incorrect.
A growing theory on how the universe works, and that could explain events like missing time (hate to crush the paranormal part of this, however, it still is very strange) lies within the idea of string theory. While explaining theory is something that would take an entire dissertation, it can be somewhat (very loose term here) explained as follows. The universe is made up of numerous interconnected “strings” and these strings (along with the entire universe) is constantly vibrating. Now it is suggested that the concept of time travel or even elements such as lost time can be explained with these vibrating strings and wave like formations. Now a postulated theory on how these elements of lost time occur can be seen like this. Imagine that you are sitting on a surf board just outside the breakers with three friends of yours. You are facing the shore while your friends are facing the surf as a large wave rolls in. They are able to ride the wave to the shore while it simply crashes over the top of you. The same amount of “time” has passed, but you and your friends are in two different locations. What if these lost time moments are simply people having a vibrating string wave crash over the top of them instead of riding it forward like the rest of the universe around them? Just something to ponder over.

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together."
"The very word 'secrecy' is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings...Today no war has been declared--and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired."
As President Dwight D. Eisenhower prepared to leave his presidential seat, he addressed the nation and passed on an often overlooked grave warning. John F. Kennedy in front of the American Newspaper Publishers Association decried a similar alarum. If at least sitting Presidents felt compelled to alert the American public of an ever growing power within the shadows of the government, then at the very minimum, general awareness should be spread far and wide right? This week's guest on The Malliard Report is working to achieve such a goal.
This week Jim welcomes Dr. Jerome Corsi to the show. Jerome Corsi is an American author, political commentator, and conspiracy theorist best known for his two New York Times Best Selling books: The Obama Nation and Unfit for Command (with co-author John O'Neill); the former written in 2008 and the latter in 2004. While a rather short interview (Jerome is under the weather at the time of the interview and has a late night spot on another popular show that is heard from coast...to coast...) Jerome still crams a lot of information that if true, could be a huge revelation. So join Jim and Jerome as they discuss the shadow government and deep state, progress of the whole "draining of the swamp" movement, and the possible identity and legitimacy of "Q".
You can find Jerome's books at most retailers and through online outlets, and follow his livestreams on YouTube. He is also on Twitter @jerome_corsi . “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.” Genesis 6:4 ESV
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes two former guest back to the show for a collaborative effort into a potential piece of ancient history that is victim to a cover up. (Say it ain’t so!) This episode sees the return of both Chris Zuger and Denver Michaels; both of whom are leading experts in their respective fields to discuss one very large topic. Giants.
Native American lore speaks of a race of giant people that roamed the lands long before they did. Western explorers wrote of red-haired natives of great stature that could run alongside buffalo, snatch and carry them under one arm, and devour them as if they were a normal sized individual biting into a chicken leg. Countless biblical and other ancient text references riddled with giants and even sources as late as the early twentieth century recount excavating skeletal remains of abnormally large humans. In fact there are numerous New York Times articles from the 1880s through the early 1900s reporting of railroad workers digging up what they believed to be giant Native American remains.
So the question posed here is that if there are in fact was traces of a very large race of humans verified by reputable sources (at the time), what happened to them? Like many of the other times where a person or entity that is tied to power is proven to be wrong, the news goes nearly silent, and very little is heard on the subject. Just recently a US Supreme Court ruling has forced the Smithsonian to release classified papers that prove their involvement in a major historical cover up.
A number of whistle blowers from within the Smithsonian and even those that were tied to the cover-up itself have come forward stating that “…there has been a major cover up by western archaeological institutions since the early 1900s to make us believe that America was first colonized by Asian peoples migrating through the Bering Strait 15,000 years ago, when in fact, there are hundreds of thousands of burial mounds all over America which the Natives claim were there a long time before them, and that show traces of a highly developed civilization, complex use of metal alloys and where giant human skeleton remains are frequently found but still go unreported in the media and news outlets” and that “… We are hiding the truth about the forefathers of humanity, our ancestors, the giants who roamed the earth as recalled in the Bible and ancient texts of the world” The official release of these papers is scheduled for 2020.
So what will be the ramifications once these papers are finally released? The credibility of assumed pillars in the world of academia completely destroyed? Ancient texts often touted as nothing more than lore and stories proven to be correct? The whole course of our human evolution and history as a continent (and others) needing to be re-written? If these giants were an advanced civilization like some speculate, what other secrets are they hiding? What are the origins of these giants? Is it not a strange coincidence that one of the biblical terms referring to the giants is Anak and how eerily similar it is to the word Anunnaki? There are so many cans of worms that are opened here and one can barely figure out where to start.
Chris and Denver are both amazingly brilliant and researched individuals and their work reflects it. To catch up with Chris, head over to www.denoflore.com and to follow Denver’s work you can visit www.denvermichaels.net . To keep up with all things Malliard connect with us via Twitter @Malliard.
One final note, this week marks a very somber moment in the para/strange/crypto community with the passing of ...
Returning to the show this week is Scott Wolter. While probably most widely known for hosting the late A&E networks H2 television show America Unearthed Scott also holds great notoriety as a forensic geologist, being the president of Minnesota-based American Petrographic Services, and developing an entirely new field of science called archaeopetrography. Archaeopetrography is a scientific based process in which mysterious stones, artifacts, and locations are dated and studied so as to better understand their origins and meanings. Scott joins Jim this week to discuss his most recent source of intrigue, The Newport Tower in Newport Rhode Island.
The Newport Tower is nestled on top of a hill in Touro Park, located in a historical residential neighborhood, on a small plot of land that was purchased by the city of Newport from the generosity of Judah Touro (who donated 10,000 dollars to the city to purchase the land in 1854 so as to not have any development occur in that location). Rather unassuming in appearance, the Tower is the centerpiece to several high profile debates and Scott is square in the middle of it with his own expert opinions.
One of the main arguments that is making the circuit in regards to The Tower is the age and actual architect of The Tower. While there are many good speculative guesses at the actual age, the only one for certain is that the tower is old. One of the first written mentions of The Tower can be found in 1677 in the will of Benedict Arnold where he mentions “….my stone built wind mill”. Some theorize that the architecture matches that of Norse buildings and that it was a church built between the 11th and 14th centuries. Another theory for The Tower is that it was built as a signal outpost for Chinese junks of the Zheng He era in 1421. There is little supporting evidence for this theory, but it is not completely disputed.
Now where does Scott come into play with these? Scott’s theory is one of the upcoming ones and is one of the most highly disputed. Scott along with writer Andrew Sinclair have put forth the hypothesis that the Newport Tower was built by medieval Scottish Templars led by Scottish earl Henry Sinclair as part of an alleged voyage to New England approximately one hundred years prior to Columbus setting sail. This theory is vigorously disputed and Scott states that this is what causes him to believe the theory even more. There are many other possible ideas out there to the origin of The Tower and its builder and more continue to pop up.

“Consumers ought to have clearer information, not opaque policies and complex click-through consent pages. The tech industry has an obligation to respond to widespread and growing concerns over data privacy and security and to restore the public’s trust. The status quo no longer works. Moreover, Congress must determine if and how we need to strengthen privacy standards to ensure transparency and understanding for the billions of consumers who utilize these products.”
“If you and other social media companies do not get your act in order, none of us are going to have any privacy anymore. That’s what we are facing. We’re talking about personally identifiable information that, in not kept by the social media companies from theft, a value that we have in America, being our personal privacy, we wont have it anymore.”
While these, along with many other scathing words, were launched at Mark Zuckerberg by congressional members as he shifted and squirmed in his little booster seat, one could not help but scream in agony at the palpable hypocrisy of the entire situation. The very same members of Congress that continue to allow organizations such as the NSA, and CIA to openly spy and illegally collect personal data on its citizens lectured the social media giant for four hours on the “dangers” of allowing data to be so free and accessible. Only in America (a place that brags about unprecedented “Freedom” by its citizens) can a case of irony so stupendous in size like this play out.
This week on The Malliard Report Jim Welcomes back Trip Elix to the show to discuss the three ring circus that is the Facebook Congressional hearings, Zuckerberg himself and much more. Trip Elix a former hacker turned author and personal advocate has started the ItsMyInfo.org campaign to help people keep their information out of the distributing hands of the large data mining companies. Stating that “I watched the internet evolve; I witnessed unparalleled innovation and creativity with a leveling of sorts. The story of the individual making a difference for humanity is what the net is all about. It was why Tim Berners-Lee left his creation it to the world. Equally common people now have a platform, and ability to share with others, though the vision of Zuckerberg. After the invention of Facebook countless other services came online. It created the platform and a movement for the world to follow.” Trip urges for a more free and secured internet, but like many of us, fears the Orwellian dystopic nightmare that we continue to race towards.
To follow Trip you can find all of his information on his websites www.itsmyinfo.org and www.tripelix.com or follow him on Twitter @trip_elix. Make sure to keep of with The Malliard Report via Twitter @Malliard and don’t forget to share the show.
John Trudel has led an interesting life to say the least. From graduating in an elite level of electronic engineering and research, chasing an elusive doctoral degree, to bouncing around in the back of an airplane in the height of the Vietnam War testing new electronic intelligence and weapons systems in varying Special Operations missions as a civilian. John has found himself as an advisor to the Secretary of Defense, the developer of the first automobile radar detector (a personal huge “Thank You” for that one!), and as a consultant for a number of large, world-wide tech firms. John’s latest endeavors however is one of his favorites; writing.
This week on The Malliard Report John is the featured guest and joins Jim in discussion about the current unrestful state of information security, the growing collection of novels that he has written and one of the most unusual declassified CIA programs to date.
Operation Stargate. No not the movie from 1994 with Kurt Russel and James Spader (while a bit dated, is still actually a halfway decent movie) but rather a classified program ran by the CIA in 1970s through the 1990s in an attempt to use remote viewing to gather intelligence and influence Russian operations. .
Originally falling under a handful of different names (Project Gondola Wish, Grill Flame, Center Lane, Sun Streak, and Scanate) the projects eventually merged together under the Stargate moniker. With a purpose “To provide an overview on remote viewing focusing on definitions, operations, management, participation, benefits, primary and secondary methodologies, categories of taskings, types of targets, and operational methodology” the program studied many different elements to remote viewing. One of the most astounding take aways from this program is that within the actual documents themselves, from the CIA website archives, it states that remote viewing is “ accessing information without the use of: The normal five senses, Information from other people, Logical deductions, Direct connective implementation of electronic or other devices.” Remote viewing is also declared as “A talent which is inherent to every human to some degree. Probably a vestigial form of self-preservation. Largely ignored in today’s societal setting. Through proper training, can be developed to a person’s individual potential”.
The program allegedly ended in 1995 with the results stating that remote viewing should not be used as a “stand alone source” for information but “Remote Viewers can be used as Collectors in Conjunction with other Intelligence Sources Throughout the DoD Intelligence Community [sic].” Pretty crazy huh?

June 10, 2009, a creepy pasta thread found within the Something Awful forum bore witness to the birth of a modern day mythological monster. Described as unnaturally tall, thin, sporting a black suit and tie, and having a white featureless face, the tentacle sprouting Slender Man has terrorized horror fans for nearly a decade through many different mediums. Unlike many other fictional fan favorites, the line between reality and make-believe seems to have been greatly blurred and getting worse as time goes on. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes back distinguished guest Nick Redfern to the show to discuss whether or not this is simply digital folklore that has gotten out of control, or the possibility of this having become an actual tulpa set loose into our world.
Seeing as how the Slender Man’s backstory has no real “official” canon, his appearance, abilities, habits, motives, etc. change dependent on who is telling the story. The common imagery with Slender Man is that of a very large gaunt figure with no face stalking through the woods. He wears a black suit and tie, and is said to have (again varies from story to story) multiple tentacle like arms sprouting from his back. It is often claimed that being within close proximity of the Slender Man can induce “Slender Sickness” which is described as “rapid onset paranoia, nightmares and delusions, often accompanied with severe nosebleeds” in addition to interfering with audio and video equipment. Motives of the Slender Man have been shown to target children and young adults as its “prey.”
The Slender Man was originally created in a Something Awful thread as a Photoshop contest where users were challenged to take every-day photos and make them appear paranormal. Under the username “Victor Surge”, Eric Knudsen submitted a handful of pictures with a tall, thin, spectral figure, wearing a black suit with bits of text added to resemble tellings from individuals that may have found themselves within the presence of that being. The quotes that Eric added to the photos read:
“We didn’t want to go, we didn’t want to kill them, but its persistent silence and outstretched arms horrified and comforted us at the same time… -- 1983, Photographer Unknown, presumed dead”
“One of two recovered photographs from the Stirling City Library blaze. Notable for being taken the day which fourteen children vanished and for what is referred to as “The Slender Man”. Deformities cited as film defects by officials. Fire at library occurred one week later. Actual photograph confiscated as evidence. – 1986, Photographer: Mary Thomas, missing since June 13, 1986”.
These images accompanied by the subsequent text instantly shot the story into internet lore status and generated a flurry of follow on content. Today you can now find video games, a series of web shorts, and countless other stories however, unfortunately like many other things people have taken this fictional (maybe?) idea and gone too far.
May 31, 2014 in Waukesha, Wisconsin 12 year-olds Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser lured friend Payton Leutner into the woods near their home where they stabbed Leutner 19 times as a sacrifice to appease the Slender Man. Leutner miraculously survived the ordeal and was able to drag herself to a nearby road where she was discovered by a passing cyclist. Weier and Geyser were soon picked up by local police walking down the interstate carrying the knife they had used to stab Leutner. Leutner recovered and returned to school the following year while Weier and Geyser were both committed to state mental institutions in 2017 for extended periods of time. (Weier 25 years, and Geyser 40 years)
Jim and Nick also discuss the possibility of the Slender Man becoming a tulpa, the power of combined consciousness, and much more. It is always a privilege to have Nick on the show. You can find all of Nick’s books through Amazon and many other online retailers and you can kee...
In the time between the original airing of this podcast and its posting for preservation, a number of events have unfolded in such a manner it was as if the guest could see into the future. Or maybe it was more obvious than anticipated; either way, the eerily predictions that were made have come to fruition, and seem to be getting only worse for those involved in the upper levels in the field. This of course is the huge data mining/selling/vulnerability that was exposed with Facebook. In this episode, Jim’s guest Ellie Maloney makes the prediction that big data and data mining and selling from large companies will be one of the problems in the near future, and it so happened that this came true. In a recent expose’ , a former lead with Facebook blew the whistle and now Zuckerberg continues to face severe backlash.
In a recent interview, whistle blower Sandy Parakilas stated that “…one Facebook executive advised him against looking too deeply at how the data was being used, warning him: ‘Do you really want to see what you’ll find?’ Parakilas said he interpreted the comment to mean that ‘Facebook was in a stronger legal position if it didn’t know about the abuse that was happening’. He added: “They felt that it was better not to know. I found that utterly shocking and horrifying.” In addition to this these claims, Zuckerberg is now being formally requested to appear before the cultural committee for the UK, EU, and the US for an oral evidence session.
In addition to the somewhat prophetic nature of this episode, Ellie and Jim discuss very interesting topics for this show. One of the most perplexing questions presented is why have we not been back to the moon. Some claim that the cost and benefit of sending explorers to the moon is not worth the investment, others say there was no other reason after beating the Russians in the race. These are all plausible, but what if there was something else? With all of the heavy redactions on transcripts, missing footage and photos, and a number of other glaring oddities one can only question the story and is left theorizing what could be.
Jim and Ellie also discuss Area 51, quantum consciousness, ancient aliens, aliens meddling with our affairs, and others. “Ellie in a previous life, was a lawyer specializing in human rights. Now she writes fiction, consumes massive amounts of late night comedy and politics, collects typewriters, and lives all over the world with her spouse and a 5-yo Newfoundland dog. She lived, worked, and studied in such countries as Kosovo, Ukraine, Liberia, Albania, and the United States.” You can find Ellie’s book 329 Years Awake on Amazon and through her website www.elliemaloney.com . Ellie can be found on all social media (including Facebook) and enjoys hearing from readers. It is no surprise that conspiracy theories are a regular staple here on The Malliard Report. While a large number of people question the given narrative for many of the events that take place, (and the Las Vegas shooting is no exception) there is still an element that is often overlooked within the conspiracy circles. More often than not, a number of events are in fact orchestrated, or at a minimum allowed to happen, but there is a human element still attached to these situations. People still are affected by the events in many different ways, especially those that unfortunately bare witness first hand.
This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Bryan Hopkins to the show. Bryan is a slightly different guest than the usual line up, in the fact that Bryan has no background in the paranormal or conspiratorial. Bryan is a full time musician; front-man/ lead singer for the band Elvis Monroe. The success of Elvis Monroe is not why Bryan and Jim sit down for this episode. It was the events that transpired on October 1, 2017.
Wanting to see Jason Aldean perform from the viewpoint of the crowd and “fanboy” with the rest of the people, Bryan and guitarist Ben Carey left the backstage area and moved their way to the front of the stage. Not long after chaos ensued. As shots rang out and people began to scatter, Bryan sprang into action. Grabbing two women and having survival mode kick into full gear Bryan began to flee for the backstage area. Discovering a large refrigeration truck, Bryan led the women into the safety and waited while hell unfolded around him.
Bryan’s story is far more in-depth that what can be provided here, harrowing to say the least, and to hear him tell it adds a human element that many conspiracy heads tend to forget. To check out Bryan’s band Elvis Monroe you can find them on Spotify, iTunes, and many other music streaming services (no paid advert here). In 1942 the Office for Strategic Services (OSS) began covertly planting military leaders and experts into journalism circles so as to influence the direction of public opinion through news and other forms of media under the code name “Operation Mockingbird.” This continued on “officially” until 1948’s passing of the Smith-Mundt Act. In essence the Smith-Mundt Act eliminated propaganda from media outlets, however, this seemed to be more of an attempt to prevent overt propaganda and completely forgot the more subversive attempts at subliminally reaching the public. In 2013 the Smith-Mundt Act was repealed under the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013, and coincidently enough there was an increase in movies that romanticize certain elements and a major schism occurred in an already divided media.
Operation Mockingbird (like many other “conspiracy theories”) is a confirmed program through FOIA requests and happens to be one this week’s guest on The Malliard report’s favorite conspiracies. For this episode, Jim welcomes the likes of Sean Ras to the show. Sean is a fellow podcaster, conspiracy theorist, and all around hunter for the truth. Jim and Sean both got their start around the same time and share a mutual acquaintance that helped them onto the path that they both are on today.
This is a great episode that covers a lot of conspiratorial ground in a short amount of time. Sean shares his thoughts on the JFK assassination, Operations Mockingbird and Paperclip, certain popular conspiratorial, Texas based radio hosts, the Parkland shooting, 9/11, Chemtrails, and many others. Sean is very open about how his views have continually shifted as he learns more, and believes that many share the same views as him. So go ahead, hit play, and enjoy this episode already. “I only wear underwear with little pictures of Santa Claus on them, because then not matter what mood I’m in, it’s always Christmas…in my pants.” This week on The Malliard Report, Jim features a Tarot reader, ghost hunter, and a standup comedienne which happen to be all the same person; the talented and very funny Karen Rontowski.
Originally from Pittsfield Massachusetts, Karen has been a full time comedienne for almost twenty years. Deciding to pursue her dream and follow in the footsteps of her inspiration Gracie Allen, Karen left the northeast and soon found herself in Las Vegas. After her stint in Vegas Karen continued her westward journey and eventually wound up in San Diego California where she became a regular at the Comedy Store and The Improv. Karen today continues to see success in her comedy career and has been featured on shows such as The Tonight Show with David Letterman, and has rubbed elbows with some of the biggest names in the industry (Jay Leno, Sinbad, and many others).
As a described “elegant hippie” (according to a Cosmo quiz she took) she aspires to live up to her Bohemian moniker. Not only has she found great success within the entertainment world, Karen is also an established paranormal investigator and tarot reader. Karen shares that one of her favorite parts of touring on the comedy circuit is her ability to visit many different paranormal locations for investigations. Karen also discusses that even as common place as paranormal material is today, people still seem unsure and uneasy when it comes to discussing. Even in a comedic sense, she has learned that are boundaries still to what people are okay with, and what they consider “too dark” when it comes to paranormal.
Karen is a very funny individual and this is a great episode. Karen shares what drives her as a performer, what got her into Tarot readings, some of her favorite places to investigate, and her soon to launch podcast. You can keep up with her very busy tour schedule, schedule a Tarot reading with her, or just connect with her in general through her website at www.karenrontowski.com or through social media @rontowski . This week on The Malliard Report Jim opens up the phone lines to see what has been on the minds of the listeners. There have been a lot of major news worthy events over the last few weeks and it is always interesting to see what you dear listener have to say about it.
On February 6, 2018 Elon Musk launched a groundbreaking payload into space, and secured himself into the history books of modern science. While it may seem a tad gimmicky launching your very own personal roadster into space with the likes of David Bowie blasting through the speakers, it goes far deeper than that. While the motto for “Starman” was “Don’t Panic”, it is safe to say that the government sector may very well be doing just that. The Falcon Heavy launch was more than just being able to send a Tesla to the stars, it was am enormous leap for the private sector; showing the world how bloated and unnecessary government programs have been.
The prime example of the now completely inefficient nature of government programs can be seen simply in the operating costs of the two different platforms. For NASA to launch any sort of payload it costs the program 59,000 dollars a kilogram to launch. For the SPACE X program it costs a mere 49 dollars a kilogram. Yes that is correct. The SPACE X program is able to operate at .001% of that of NASA. As to why these costs are so dramatically different is another story for another day, but the bottom line is that it has been shown the private sector is able to operate beyond the capabilities of that of government entities and in a far more efficient manner.
In addition to the brilliance of the Falcon Heavy launch, one takeway that can be gleaned from the event is the stunning views of the Earth that were captured during the on board filming. The photographs that showed in great detail the Earth, its continents, its weather patterns, and of course its shape. We’ll just end this part of the conversation there.
During this episode Jim poses a question that certainly is one to get the ol’ noodle going on several different fronts. The 1960s was one of the most pivotal decades in modern history. The 60s bore witness to The British Invasion, multiple major social movements, and two of the biggest events in human and conspiratorial history; The Moon landing and the assassination of John F Kennedy. While conspiracies are one of the top subjects for The Malliard Report, this episode will not get into depth as to what exactly happened, but rather pose the question “which was the bigger event?”
On this episode you will hear some familiar voices to the show that share some very thought provoking ideas and it is encouraged for you to share yours. So head over to www.malliard.com or connect via Twitter @Malliard and let us know what your thoughts on the events are or any others.
This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes the Safety Doc, Dr. David Perrodin to the show to discuss one of the major events that happened just recently (depending on when you are listening to this episode), the Mandela and butterfly effects, how easily people can be persuaded to believe certain things, and how effective his podcast featuring Jim might have been at changing the narrative to a major news story.
January 13, 2018, at 8:07 a.m. local time residents of Hawaii received an official emergency alert that stated “Ballistic missile threat impound to Hawaii. Seek immediate shelter. This is not a drill.” For 38 long minutes, residents, confused and terrified, sought out shelter, called and texted loved ones, and wondered what was next. After what must have felt like an eternity, word eventually got around that this was a false alert. As the news continues on alongside an ongoing investigation to what exactly transpired that day, we are left with more questions than answers, the feeling that something is being hidden from us (go figure), and that again we are not getting the full story. We may never know what exactly happened, but here are a few ideas:
The threat was real, and the missile was shot down: The amount of time it takes an ICBM to travel from Southeast Asia to Hawaii is approximately 20-30 min (~10 min to hit ICBM max speed of 7 km/s, ~7200 km, (7200/7)/ (60) = ~17 min for total travel time of ~27 min, not accounting for earth's rotation in that time period). The amount of time it took for the false alarm to be sent out was 38 min. he way the US's ABM system works is that they basically launch a giant chunk of metal at the ICBM and hit it really hard. The ABMs have no ordinance or anything, they just destroy the incoming missile through shear impact. However, even though our ABM system is the best in the world, it's still only successful around 50% of the time. So when the incoming threat was discovered, it would still be protocol to alert the intended target of the threat in the event that the ABM systems fail. This is a plausible theory however one argument that could refute this is “why would the US not tell us they shot down an enemy ICBM”? Most likely reason is that the President does not want war. While the President may put on an air of bravado he may realize that it is not beneficial to declare a war where no casualties were involved. When one of these missiles goes off the US pretty much immediately knows where it's going and where it came from. So if there was a real threat, the US Government is for whatever reason not sharing this information with the public. Maybe they don't want to cause panic.
Another possibility as to what happened is that the event was staged. This theory is one that seems to have gained some of the most traction out of the numerous ideas that have been spread around. In an attempt to distract the main stream media from policies that the President may be trying to pursue a “fake” threat was ordered so to allow the alternative motives would be obscured by the threat. Alternately there is the notion that a fake threat was issued so as to show other world powers that we have an effective early warning system and/or to test public response to see how they would respond in the event of a real threat.
The third one to consider (there are many others) is that the system malfunctioned. This happens more often than you would think. The early alert systems are very sensitive. They're a lot better than they used to be, but they've detected false missiles before. There are reports of them being triggered by sunlight reflecting off large pieces of metal. They're sensitive for a reason. Additionally, the large spike in recent meteor sightings could very well be a factor in the triggering of the false alarm. So possibly in an effort to prevent people panicking over a faulty early warning system, the government blamed a bumbling employee.
With a case that is as synonymous to the 90s as much Rollerblades, Grunge, and Friends, the O.J. Simpson trial dominated the news and for weeks on end. Following the controversial acquittal and what seemed like a never ending barrage of late night comedy punch lines, O.J. eventually faded out of the not so wanted limelight, left to live a quasi-normal life. Such was the case until 2007 when again he found himself in unfavorable circumstances staring down felony charges of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, assault, robbery, and use of a deadly weapon. In December of 2008 Simpson was charged on all counts and was sentenced to thirty three years in prison with the possibility of parole after nine served. In July of 2017 Simpson was granted parole and was later released in October 2017 having served the nine mandated years.
So while this 90s nostalgia trip and brief bio on The Juice may seem irrelevant it actually is the cornerstone to this week’s guest on the Malliard Report. This week Jim welcomes Malcolm LaVergne to the show. A high energy, Ivy League educated, Las Vegas based attorney who happens to be the personal lawyer for both O.J. Simpson and Floyd Mayweather. Having an incredibly diverse background (ranging from construction worker, ambulance driver, and even firefighter) Malcolm eventually found himself heading down the path of a legal work and graduated from Cornell Law School in 2000. Opening his own practice in 2005, Malcolm maintains a very successful firm based out of Nevada.
So join us on this great episode when Jim and Malcom discuss Malcom’s more notable clients, Malcom’s love for astronomy and astrophysics, the history of the universe, the highway that leads directly to Area 51, and much more. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes one of the most caring and genuine guests to date. Often pushed far outside of her comfort zone, and lead by her incredibly passionate nature, Nancy Byrne is medium driven by her fondness to help and empower others.
With a deeply rooted respect for all life, Nancy finds her drive in empowering others. Not only is this prevalent in the way that she conducts her readings with her clients, but her life’s work reflects this exact same ideology. With both an Undergraduate and Graduate degree in psychology, working in adolescent psychiatric hospitals, was an executive director the Rape Crisis Center’s Women in Need of Support Groups Program, Director of the Victim Services Unit for the Denver Police Department, and worked as a counselor at multiple shelters focusing on “at risk” youth and has taught at the University level. Stating that it is her “soul’s desire to ‘give back’ to the Universe and to serve by assisting others in their life’s journey” it is apparent that Nancy thrives on not her own selfish ambition (which is often seen within the realms of mediumships especially…”keep coming back to me for another session at 150 bucks an hour week after week and you’ll be fixed!”) but rather that of seeing those around her rise to their fullest potential.
So go ahead and jump into this episode as Nancy shares some incredible stories about how Spirit intervenes with her journey, the fears she has had to overcome, the unexpected turn of events leading her to write a book, and much more. To follow Nancy’s latest or to schedule a reading you can visit her website www.choices-nlb.com and you can find her book on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/CHOICES-Nancy-Byrne/dp/1504326482 . This week on The Malliard Report, Jim peeks under the mysterious apron and reveals some of the checkered insights to a number of the most renowned yet mysterious symbolism known to man. On this episode Jim is joined by 32nd degree Free Mason and bestselling author Robert W Sullivan IV to discuss hidden symbology in movies, themes, trends, and their cyclical patterns, and provides some insight to the meaning to some of the iconography that so many know, but know so little about.
Growing up in Maryland and studying Law at Trinity, Oxford, and Widener University, Robert honed his quick wit, and delved into his fascination with the occult. Joining the Masonic Lodge in 1997, Robert quickly rose through the ranks and soon found himself sitting at the 32nd degree. An avid writer and fan of the rich meanings and history of symbolism especially that found within the Masonic teachings, Robert soon noticed that rituals and iconography were sprinkled throughout most of our popular culture. (Most notably within movies) Robert quickly began documenting the various appearances of rituals, symbolism, etc. which eventually led to his first Cinema Symbolism: A Guide to Esoteric Imagery in Popular Movies. As most of these creative endeavors go, Robert quickly learned that he had too much information for just one book. A second Cinema Symbolism soon followed and there currently is a third in the works.
While there may be a large shroud of mystery surrounding Freemasonry, the overarching general concept consists of fraternal organizations that trace their lineage to the original stonemasons. Stonemasons originated as a fraternity in the fourteenth century in efforts to regulate the qualifications and interactions of stonemasons, authorities, and clients. Today they retain the levels from the original craft guilds of Apprentice, Journeyman (or Fellowcraft), and Master Mason. These individuals fall under a larger group call a Lodge which is overseen by regional level Grand Lodge or Grand Orient. Each lodge is independently ran, and does not answer to a singular hierarchy. Modern Masonry is broken into two very broad groups. Regular Freemasonry, which maintains that a volume of scripture is open in a working lodge, that every member professes a belief in a supreme being, that no women shall be admitted, and that political and religious discussions are not allowed. Secondly, there is the newer more “liberal” variant of Freemasonry referred to as “Continental Freemasonry” and this allows a lifting on some if not all of the aforementioned restrictions.
Robert provides some amazing insight to some of the meanings behind the symbology that is often seen and associated with when dealing in Freemasonry and candidly shares his thoughts on the perceived notions of Freemasonry and much, much more. There is so much to Freemasonry that an hour long show is not nearly enough, and without writing a dissertation that would rival that of a doctoral thesis, we can only begin to scratch the very top surface level of the very tip of an incredibly large iceberg. So we encourage you to go out there and dig into your own research. If not on this topic, on something else that you find fascinating. The world is a crazy and mysterious place. But I digress. Robert is a great guest and you can find all of his latest information on his website www.robertsullivaniv.com and all of his books are available through Amazon. Fake news. A phrase that was once tied to tabloidesque style super market papers has now become a common staple in today’s lexicon. Like many elements that unfortunately flood our daily routines, this has turned to a point to where we now just gloss over when we hear the term. Seeking to combat the ever failing reputation of media, the guest on this week’s episode of The Malliard Report has been a pioneer and trail blazer for the citizen journalist movement that is quickly gaining hold in this seemingly turbulent time.
This week Jim welcomes to the show Lee Stranahan. Lee is an American journalist, talk show host, and advocate for citizen journalism. Hosting a show on the Russian owned Sputnik new agency, Stranahan was originally picked up by the network after being let go by Breitbart for covering the controversies surrounding the Chobani yogurt company and their usage of Syrian refugee workers harboring tuberculosis and numerous sexual assault cases.
Originally moving to Los Angeles to work as a television producer and graphic artist, Lee made his way into reporting during the 2007/2008 writers guild strike. Having started out by making political parody videos on YouTube poking fun at prominent figures of the time (Mitt Money, Rudy Giuliani, etc.) he quickly gained interest and was soon picked up by the Huffington Post. While his edgy humor was the catalyst for his quick success, it was not looked upon as fondly by HuffPo and Lee soon found himself in the circle with Andrew Breitbart. After a handful of firings/rehirings and disputes over his stance on the death of Alton Sterling, Lee parted ways with Breitbart and is now co-host of Fault Lines on Sputnik Radio.
The passion for citizen journalism is very evident within Lee and this is a really great episode. To keep up with all of Lee’s latest, head over to www.stranahan.com and of course get the most up to date Malliard at www.malliard.com or via Twitter @Malliard. The threat of malware, viruses, spyware, worms, etc. is something that we have to deal with on a regular basis. We have to constantly upgrade our devices, and it seems just as we get them up to date another batch of maladies makes its way through. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes for the final show of 2017 Trip Elix to discuss computer exploitation, protecting yourself, and finally explaining what the actual difference between a virus, malware, worms, and spywares really is.
Trip Elix a former hacker turned author and personal advocate has started the ItsMyInfo.org campaign to help people keep their information out of the distributing hands of the large data mining companies. Trip goes into detail about which companies are the biggest culprits of harvesting your information, how they acquire it, and to whom they distribute the information. It is very disturbing to say the least.
Malware, virus, spyware all seem to be words that are used interchangeably on a regular basis however, the three are all very different from each other. Trip does a good job explaining what these differences actually are. First there is Malware. Malware is a generic term used for malicious software. This could encompass any virus, worm, spyware, type program designed to cause harm to your PC. A virus is a program that continues to copy itself and spreads from one file to another, then eventually from computer to computer once those files are shared. Virus are often found on executable files and only serve one purpose: to cause problems and break things…sounds like some people I know. Spyware is any software that is installed on your PC that collects and sends information to the creator of that program. This could be anything from logging passwords, search histories, credit card numbers, etc. Ironically we shun this when people use it for a “nefarious” purpose, but when large companies do this exact thing, everything is just fine. Much like viruses, worms cause havoc and destruction however worms move across networks and are able to reach larger targets than a particular virus.
Trip also provides great information on ways to protect yourself form a number of these threats, how to maintain a low online profile, and much more, but still barely scratches the surface of the tip of the iceberg. You find all of his information on his websites www.itsmyinfo.org and www.tripelix.com or follow him on Twitter @trip_elix Of course you can find all things Malliard at www.malliard.com and Twitter @Malliard. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a guest that is as diverse as he is. Not afraid to shy away from any of the topics, Gerald Posner dives right in to very deep and controversial subjects and presents views that go against the norm. From the mysteries surrounding the Vatican, the always perplexing JFK assassination (his view may shock you), Josef Mengele, and even Martin Luther King Jr. Gerald digs in and brings his legal background to shed new light on these subjects.
Posner has an incredibly impressive background and this plays into his ability to research the unusual. “…one of the youngest attorneys (23) ever hired by Cravath, Swaine & Moore. A Political Science major, Posner was a Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (1975), where he was also a national debating champion, winner of the Meiklejohn Award. At Hastings Law School (1978), he was an Honors Graduate and served as the Associate Executive Editor for the Law Review. Of Counsel to Posner & Ferrara, the New York law firm he cofounded, he is a member of the NY and DC bars as well as the International Criminal Court. In the past, he was a regular panelist on HistoryCENTER, the History Channel’s Sunday current events program. He has been a freelance writer for many news magazines, and a regular contributor to NBC, the History Channel, CNN, FOX News, CBS, and MSNBC. In 2009 he was the Chief Investigative Reporter for The Daily Beast. A former member of the National Advisory Board of the National Writers Union, Posner is a member of the Authors Guild, PEN, The Committee to Protect Journalists, and Phi Beta Kappa. He is represented by BrightSight Group for lectures about investigative journalism and his books. His wife, author, Trisha Posner, works with him on all his project”
The Vatican, one of the most well-known places in the world yet shrouded in some of the darkest of mysteries. In Posner's latest book, he paints an expose’ that reveals some of the shady dealings of one of the largest financiers in the world. Some may find it shocking that a religious institution would be tied to major under dealings, but it would not be the first time. From their secret archives implemented in the 17th century by Pope Paul V to the infamous “Ratlines” (passports issued by the Vatican to NAZI and SS leadership to escape Europe to Central America) during World War II, the Vatican is no stranger to controversy.
This is a short but powerful interview and Gerald’s work is certainly worth looking into. You can find all of Gerald’s books on Amazon and through his website www.posner.com . You can also find Gerald on Twitter @GeraldPosner . For all things Malliard head over to www.malliard.com and connect with Jim on Twitter @Malliard. Make sure to share the show and spread the word.
Leviathan, Behemoth, and Ziz oh my! This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a guest that dives into a realm in which many may not know about, but certainly makes impact on the world around us. Spiritual warrior and Seventh Day Adventist, James Walter McIver brings his insight to spiritual warfare, demonic and angelic beings, and the possibility of ancient biblical monsters still lurking within our midst.
James refers to three large beasts that are mentioned within biblical texts that many may be unfamiliar with, or simply skimmed over because they seemed oddly out of context. Such is the first monster mentioned and that is the Leviathan. Found with the Christian scriptures (Job 3:8/Job 41:1/ Psalms 104:26 and Isaiah 27:1) it is described as “…a derivation from the root לוהlvh to twine; to join", with an adjectival suffix with a literal meaning of "wreathed, twisted in folds". Both the name and the mythological figure are a direct continuation of the Ugaritic sea monster Lôtān, one of the servants of the sea god Yammu defeated by Hadad in the Baal Cycle. The Ugaritic account has gaps, making it unclear whether some phrases describe him or other monsters at Yammu's disposal such as Tunannu (the Biblical Tannin). Most scholars agree on describing Lôtān as "the fugitive serpent" (bṯn brḥ) but he may or may not be "the wriggling serpent" (bṯn ʿqltn) or "the mighty one with seven heads" (šlyṭ d.šbʿt rašm) His role seems to have been prefigured by the earlier serpent Têmtum whose death at the hands Hadad is depicted in Syrian seals of the 18th–16th century BCE Sea serpents feature prominently in the mythology of the Ancient Near East. They are attested by the 3rd millennium BCE in Sumerian iconography depicting the god Ninurtaovercoming a seven-headed serpent. It was common for Near Eastern religions to include a Chaoskampf: a cosmic battle between a sea monster representing the forces of chaos and a creator god or culture hero who imposes order by force. The Babylonian creation myth describes Marduk's defeat of the serpent goddess Tiamat, whose body was used to create the heavens and the earth.”
The second creature (and one of the more interesting sounding ones) is Ziz. Found in 2nd Chronicles 20:16, the Ziz is describes as “…as Leviathan is the king of fishes,
In an era where sensationalism and showmanship supersede facts and critical thinking it is refreshing to come across someone that places evidence ahead of entertainment. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Dr. Brian D Parsons to the show to discuss his podcast, ancient aliens, Tom DeLonge’s “adventure” into UFOfology, and super heroes.
Starting out as a paranormal investigator in the mid-90s, Dr. Parsons has always kept a close watch on the goings on of the paranormal world. From hoaxes and urban legends that circulate the internet to legitimate cases that cannot be explained, Dr. Parsons provides a scientific and realistic approach to the abundance of stories that bombard internet forums and television on a daily basis. Today, Dr. Parsons compiles a sampling of some of the best stories, and shares his thoughts and the reality behind them. While this may not be the rating driving excitement that we have come to enjoy, it provides some much needed fact in a fluff filled world.
People often laugh at the idea of Scientology: A pulp fiction writer from the 1940s leading a religion where people pay money to gain their freedom from a collection of evil intergalactic space entities. As of the writing of this, currently more than 2000 people have donated over 2 million dollars to a Pop-Punk musician in order to be part of a company that will take you through space with “electrogravitic” and beamed energy propulsion utilizing a brain-computer interface…yes. You read that right. This is a point that Dr. Parsons likes to drive home; our love for entertainment has a way of destroying our critical thinking skills. People are often quick to throw out logic because someone with status (even if they have no viable credentials) claims one thing or another.
Dr. Parsons is a very engaging guest that provides insight into many of the hot topics within the paranormal community that forces you to think outside your status quo. So go ahead and press play and jump into this episode already. Jim and Brian openly discuss the fallacies presented on a popular television program involving ancient alien contact, Nibiru (and the usage of the term “Planet X”), what really constitutes a super hero, and much more. You can follow Dr. Brian Parsons on his website www.paranewsinsider.com and listen to his podcast over at www.wcjvradio.com . It is that time of year again: for most of the country a chill has settled in (there are some of us still wearing shorts and t-shirts in our regions), Sinatra’s smooth tones permeate the air with visions of snowy lanes and glowing fires, and shoppers with arms full of bags and presents all wrapped with care. What is it about the crooners of old that puts us into the giving spirit? Could there be something deeper…subliminal possibly …hidden with the carols of old that triggers us in a Pavlovian manner? This week’s guest on The Malliard Report suggests that this is very much a possibility. On this episode Jim welcomes back returning guest Morry Zelcovitch to discuss the commercialism of the holiday season, subliminal messaging, and that rectangular cage that holds you hostage, but fits in your pocket.
Morry soon noticed that certain sounds and tones would affect his mental state in a more positive manner: a new path was being laid before him that would change himself and many others. Not satisfied with the results he was seeing from the small amounts of material that was available at the time, Morry began his own pursuit. Seeking information from one of the top sources within the Brainwave Engineering field, Morry quickly reached a level of expert status and ventured out into fine tuning the best of materials for positive reinforcement. The Morry Method continues to astound listeners around the world and has received critical acclaim through a major university study at top Brazilian university.
Morry tirelessly seeks to share his findings with the rest of the world in order to help as many as he can. Drawing upon his own personal struggles, he hopes that he can provide some form of benefit to someone in need. That is why when you contact him, it is not someone from a contact center/help line/etc. it is Morry himself. To contact Morry, or to acquire his materials please visit www.themorrymethod.com and for all things Malliard head over to www.malliard.com or via Twitter @Malliard.
This week on The Malliard Report Jim may step outside the realm of paranormal, but stays within the fascinating and creepy. On this episode Jim welcomes James Fitzgerald to the show.
Between the years of 1978 and 1995 headlines were constantly peppered with stories of bombings occurring at various universities and places of large development. Authorities found themselves completely stumped due to lack of traceable evidence at the crime scenes and countless intentionally misleading clues left to throw police off the proverbial “scent.” The FBI eventually turned to the Behavioral Sciences Unit who put together a profile originally declaring that the individual was of above average intelligence, had an academic pedigree in hard sciences, and had ties to academia. However, this profile was later scrapped for one that favored the idea that a blue collar airplane mechanic was the culprit based on evidence found at the crime scenes. Finally in 1996 FBI agents raided a tiny cabin where they discovered a cache of bomb components, tens of thousands of hand written journal pages, various write ups from bomb making experiments, a live bomb ready to mail, and one Theodore Kaczynski.
Theodore Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber is “…is an American mathematician, anarchist and domestic terrorist. A mathematical prodigy, he abandoned a promising academic career in 1969, then between 1978 and 1995 killed 3 people, and injured 23 others, in a nationwide bombing campaign that targeted people involved with modern technology. In conjunction, he issued a wide-ranging social critique opposing industrialization and advancing a nature-centered form of anarchism. A child prodigy he entered Harvard College at the age of 16. He earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard in 1962, then his master's and doctorate in mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1964 and 1967, respectively. After receiving his doctorate at age 25, he became an assistant professor at the University of California, Berkeley, but resigned abruptly two years later. As an undergraduate at Harvard, Kaczynski was a research subject in an ethically questionable experiment conducted by psychology professor Henry Murray, which some analysts have claimed influenced Kaczynski's later actions. After resigning from Berkeley, Kaczynski moved to his parents' home in Lombard, Illinois, then two years later to a remote cabin he had built outside Lincoln, Montana. Here he lived a simple life on very little money, without electricity or running water, working odd jobs and receiving some financial support from his family
His original goal had been to become self-sufficient so that he could live autonomously. He taught himself survival skills such as tracking game, edible plant identification, organic farming, bow drilling and other primitive technologies. He used an old bicycle to get to town; a volunteer at the local library said he visited frequently and read classic works in their original languages. Other Lincoln residents said later that such a lifestyle was not unusual in the area. By 1975, Kaczynski decided it was impossible to live peacefully in nature because of the destruction of the wildland around his cabin by real estate development and industrial projects. In response, he began performing acts of sabotage against nearby developments, and dedicated himself to reading about sociology and political philosophy, such as the works of Jacques Ellul. In a 1999 interview he described his loss of faith in the poten...
If you have a been listener to The Malliard Report for any length of time,
one name you are most certain to recognize is Dave, better known as the one
and only “German Town Runner.” A staple in the Malliard.com chatroom, a
steady source of fantastic questions for the rapid fire, and an all around pillar
within the Malliard community Dave is not the guest this week, but rather the
host! Yes, the table has turned and Jim is in the hot seat.
This is an episode that has been in the works and talked about for quite
some time. For this special, Dave (Germantownrunne) is interviewing Jim so as
to give us a little more insight into the host that we’ve come to know and love.
Dave digs into Jim’s past so we get to know a little more about Jim growing up,
his ventures in reaching the elite Eagle Scout status, his first foray into ghost
hunting, and his first experiences with the paranormal.
One of Jim’s big achievements is that of reaching the level of Eagle Scout.
Obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout is no small matter. Only four percent of Boy
Scouts are granted this rank after a lengthy review process. The requirements
necessary to achieve this rank take years to fulfill. Since its founding, the Eagle
Scout rank has been earned by almost 2.5 million young men. Requirements
include earning at least 21 merit badges. The Eagle Scout must
demonstrate Scout Spirit, an ideal attitude based upon the Scout Oath and Law,
service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout
plans, organizes, leads, and manages.
One of the prominent stories told on this episode is Jim’s first real
experience with the paranormal. On a family outing to Gettysburg (an absolute
hot bed of activity to begin with) Jim was touring the Devil’s Den area (...” a
boulderstrewn hill on the south end of Houck's Ridge at Gettysburg Battlefield ,
once used by artillery and infantry (e.g., sharpshooters) on the second day of the
1863 Battle of Gettysburg during the American Civil War ”) when he saw what he
thought was an actor in a picture perfect setting. When Jim tried to catch up to
the actor to get a shot, he was gone.
If you have wanted to know how Jim got his start, this episode is certainly
the one for you. Jim also shares how he got into podcasting, shares his most
“creepy” experience during an investigation and answers a barrage of rapid fire
questions. To keep up with all things Malliard make sure to head over to
www.Malliard.com or follow via Twitter @Malliard. Also, to follow Dave you can

Ladies and Gentlemen, boy and girls, paranormal fans of all ages; it is that time of year again. Yes it is the annual tradition that we have all come to love, marking its 5th year of existence, The Malliard Report prediction show. Join us as Jim (along with members of the Duck Pond) gives predictions and thoughts of what to expect in the upcoming year.
With the highly volatile political climate that we find ourselves in, it is no surprise that a number of the predictions for 2018 are tied to these uncertain times. With news events constantly creating a greater divide, the situation finds itself ever more unstable than before. Along that line of thought, one of the predictions made is that there will be significant splits within the parties themselves. The rift growing within the DNC has been well known for almost a year due to the issues tied to the Clinton/Sanders debacle however, the rapid growing split within the Republican Party is quickly coming to the forefront. Many of the dissenters are coming within the President’s own circles. Is this truly a division of the people that are becoming fed up with the elements that they are used to, or is this a divide and conquer tactic used by higher powers to continue to divide us? Who is to say? One thing is for sure, it does seem like a very likely possibility that this scenario could play out.
Another common theme that plays itself out within this episode is the prediction (from both Jim and the Duck Pond) is that there is a major technological breakthrough that is just on the edge of the horizon. Some speculate that this will be a cure for one of the major diseases, others say that it will be in the field of genome manipulation and understanding. There is the possibility that it could be both. The genome understanding could lead to advancements in the cure for various maladies. Either way, very exciting things in the future if these do come true.
There are a number of other predictions that are put out there within this episode, but you’ll have to listen to get those. All of which are VERY possible for coming true along with a “death pool” of who may pass on to the hereafter in the upcoming year. Make sure to spread the word about The Malliard Report through the many different online outlets and let us know what you think! Follow Jim on Twitter @Malliard to get all of the latest for all things duck.
All Hallows’ Eve on The Malliard Report; The Fastest Hour in Paranormal Talk Radio. So it would be safe to say that Jim would pull out only the spookiest of guests with the most horrifying stories right? Wrong. No this is not a trick, but is in fact quite the treat. On this special episode Jim welcomes the one and only Roger Stone to the show to talk JFK, “Fake News”, the recent events with Paul Manafort, and much more. This is a fast, but great episode. Sit down, turn up, and buckle in…it’s a good one.
Roger Stone is “an American political consultant, lobbyist, and strategist, noted for his use of opposition research usually for candidates of the Republican Party. In 1980, he co-founded the Washington, DC-based lobbying firm Black, Manafort, Stone with principals Paul Manafort and Charles R. Black Jr. They recruited Peter G. Kelly and the firm was renamed Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly in 1984. During the 1980s, BMSK leveraged its ‘White House connections’ to attract ‘high-paying clients" including ‘U.S. corporations’, ‘trade associations’, and foreign governments. By 1990, it was ‘one of the leading lobbyists for American companies and foreign organizations”. Stone variously has been referred in media as a ‘political dirty trickster,’ a ‘renowned infighter,’ a ‘seasoned practitioner of hard-edged politics,’ and a ‘veteran Republican strategist over the course of his political career.”
While Stone happens to be in the middle of turmoil involving a former partner of his, another large topic happens to be in the headlines, but coincidently enough is being over shadowed by the Manafort debacle. This week was supposed to be the monumental, total release of the JFK assassination files. However, as with everything that may shine a light onto the dark under-dealings of the government, the total release was held back and transparency once again is nothing more than a pipe dream. Roger shares his thoughts on the assassination wholly believes that all roads lead back to LBJ. The Who, Why, and How of JFK’s murder are lengthy and often muddy with many different possibilities, but the Johnson ties are almost undeniable.
While the Kennedy assassination is an incredibly interesting subject, and there is a plethora of material available to anyone willing to do some research on their own, it is not the only topic discussed on this episode. This truly is a landmark episode for The Malliard Report so go ahead and jump in already! To keep up with the latest on Roger Stone you can visit his website www.stonecoldtruth.com and hear him regularly on the Info Wars Wednesday broadcasts. (Normally this is where the guest’s Twitter account is mentioned but there seems to be a slight issue with that…) For all things Malliard head over to www.malliard.com or via Twitter @Malliard.
“Hey Jim, long time listener, first time caller…” it is that time again! Where Jim bubbles with anticipation and trembles in fear at the same time. The call in show. So jump on in and get ready for some spooky stories from the listeners, discussion on what types of places are the most active, particular locations that are deemed as some of the most haunted, and rapid fire questions directed at Jim.
There are two locations mentioned in this episode that are known for their particularly high levels of paranormal activity, and after some further research, share a gruesome common thread. First up on this short list is the former thriving town of Dumas Missouri. Once a bustling railroad hub in the late 19th century, Dumas quickly began to dry up and dissipate in the 1920s and 1930s as more people began to flock to larger cities. However, one particular individual felt the need to stay behind and is said to still be there to this very day. It is purported the apparition of a headless woman wanders the train tunnel and near the river looking for her severed head. Allegedly a victim that succumbed to the tragic train wreck of 1892. On May 5, 1892 a Santa Fe Railroad, California Express Line was crossing a truss bridge when the bridge itself gave way due to torrential floodings from a previous storm. Six of the seven cars plunged into the water and seven individuals were killed instantly. It is said that the woman was launched from the car and her head severed in the process. Longtime residents of the area are familiar with the story, with many of them claiming have to seen the woman themselves.
The next location on this list is one that if you are at all the least bit familiar with the paranormal, you will certainly know this location. The most haunted nightclub: The one and only Bobby Mackey’s. Featured on numerous paranormal television shows and documentaries, the high level of activity here draws enthusiasts from around the globe. While Mackey’s has stories attached to it ranging from Satanic practices, jealous murders of nightclub crooners of a bygone era, and overall slaughterhouse goodness, the one story that stands out above the rest is that of Pearl Bryan. The victim of a gruesome beheading due to an abortion that went horribly awry, she however is not the spirit causing all the trouble. It is said that Scott Jackson and Alonzo Walling vowed to haunt the place for eternity just prior to their demise at the gallows.

Back again from the land of andouille sausage, sordid history, and the hushed whisperings of
Voodoo, it is the Creole King of Creepy himself; Mr. Dark Waters. Joining Jim for a second round, Dark comes to share the release of his new audio book set to drop on Halloween, his approach to demonic entities, his favorite types of cigars, and much more.
Dark Waters brings a new format into the world of recounting paranormal experiences. More
than just retelling old stories, Dark Waters seeks out and researches the history of some of the most chilling encounters with the unexplained. Dark Waters then presents these stories in an audio book style format with the goal of leaving the listener frightened at the end of every segment. It is very easy to see why his channel continues to grow at an exponential rate. Dark Waters’ acute attention to detail causes the listener to not only visualize the scenario, but allows them to feel as if they are a part of theexperience as well. This certainly ups the creepiness level making for a more addictive listening
An interesting point that is brought up during this episode is the number nine. Why is nine not
used in things such as OS designators, phone variations, and so forth? Could it be because nine is “the last of the cardinal numbers, and the most worldly and sophisticated of all numbers? The 9 has some similarities with the 6. However, whereas the 6 as a symbol of motherly (or fatherly) love, giving its love and care to friends, family and the immediate community, the 9 offers it to the world at large; the 9, more than any other number, has global consciousness. Looking at the shape of the symbol is, as always, quite telling. The 9 is like the 6 upside down, a symbol of her offering sympathy and compassion to everyone; a reservoir of giving with a generous downward spout.” Does nine hold some numerologist significance that would spur a great awakening and the powers that be seek to keep us in a perpetual dulled state so they totally avoid the number knowing the great potential it holds? Maybe. Just a random thought. Dark Waters’ site is a treasure trove of the creepy and unknown so make sure to head over to www.iamdarkwaters.com to get all of the latest info and stories. For all things Malliard your destination of choice www.malliard.com and of course Twitter @Malliard. One last follow on to the show and an agreement with Dark Waters, Drew Estate’s Liga Privada line of cigars are fantastic, especially the “No.9” and “Dirty Rat.” This is by no means an endorsement for Drew Estate, just this humble writer’s simple opinion.
A field that is plagued by charlatans, television personalities, and those out to make a quick buck
on the latest trends, parapsychology is a mixed bag of reception from the general public. A subject that warrants legitimate scientific exploration yet encounters more mockery than it should, is beginning to see a resurgence in credible evidence and studies. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes Dominic Parker, who is one such individual that is bringing science back into parapsychology.
Having a fascination with unusual religious phenomena from an early age that eventually
bloomed into a full on passion, Dominic quickly learned in order to be taken seriously within the field one needs nothing short of at least one graduate degree, and he just so happens to be fulfilling those requirements. Currently a PhD student, Dominic is seeking to bring more concrete evidence in supporting the scientific backing to parapsychology. Partnering with agencies like The Rhine Research Center, and developing an app ( Am I Psychic ) that uses scientific measures to test the potential psychic abilities of the user, Dominic will certainly present a doctoral dissertation that will certainly change the views of many in both the worlds of academia and the general public.
Dominic also discusses both the pitfalls and advantages of taking classes within the field of
parapsychology. With a blossoming that is happening within the field, more and more options are becoming more widely available to the public, however, where there are reputable instructors, there are charlatans looking to make a quick buck. Praising once again the fantastic work of The Rhine Research Center, Dominic recommends those that are interested in taking a class on the subject look into the many options that The Rhine offers. Dominic also warns against taking classes and seminars from individuals tied to the more “pop culture” side of the community due to their often lack of actual scientific backgrounds. A hit television show does not make you an expert.
Within this episode Jim and Dominic also discuss the future plans for the app, the power of
combined consciousness and the anomalies surrounding it, remote viewing, and which gender has the better propensity towards psychic abilities.
If you have any interest in beginning your trek into the realm parapsychology feel free to check
out The Rhine Research Center at www.rhine.org . You can download Dominic’s app through both the Apple and Android stores for a mere two bucks (remember that the profits all benefit The Rhine) and it is very well done. Santería, Witches, and Puritans oh my! Mix in some Husker homeland and a touch of paranormal mystery and you have this week’s guest on The Malliard Report. Welcome one Ileata Kenley: Paranormalresearcher, author, and Malliard Report fan to the show. Ileata joins Jim to discuss hauntings of the Midwest, house cleansing, and some of the darker sides to a particularly staunch 18 th century religious movement.
The mid to late 1800s in America bore witness to one of the largest migratory movements in
history. Known as the “Homestead Acts”, a series of various laws passed in hopes to suppress growth of southern plantations and increase the span of what was known as the “Yeoman Farmer.” (Yeoman Farmer essentially meaning the everyday, Joe six-pack, type person) Even though mass amounts of land was more or less just there for the taking (in some areas such as the Oregon Territory during the Donation Land Claim Act of 1850 people were able to claim up 640 acres for free!) there were still disputes of boundaries and borders and such is the basis for one of the most notorious hauntings of Nebraska.
One of Ileata’s favorite cases/hauntings actually ties back to this period in history. In 1885,
Nebraska saw its first and only lynching of a woman. Failing to heed the warnings from Elizabeth Taylor about harvesting timber from her land, a neighboring farmer was shot and killed by her two teenaged sons. Already under scrutiny for the strange disappearance of her husband, tired of her constant feuding with neighbors, and now the murder of a fellow farmer the local people had reached their tipping point.
A vigilante group was quickly formed and decided to give Elizabeth and her brother (Tom Jones...another oddly coincidental celebrity name...another thread for another time) thirty days to get out of town. Not being one to shy away from confrontation (obviously) Elizabeth and Tom refused to acquiesce to the demands of the mob. Feeling as though they had given more than enough of a fair opportunity, the mob sprang into action. Forcibly removing Elizabeth and Tom from their home, the group tied them up and led them to a nearby wagon bridge where they were offered one final chance to confess their crimes. Again denying any wrong doing, Elizabeth and Tom were placed on horses and led under the bridge where ropes were then tied to their necks and the bridge. Guns were fired to spook the horses causing them to run out from underneath the two. You can figure out what happens next. Eight
men from the posse were arrested and brought to trial for the lynching but were quickly released due to “insufficient evidence” found against them in the lynching. It is said that the events from that day can be heard in addition to their ghosts roaming the area.
On this episode Jim and Ileata also discuss the spiritual cleansing of homes, tulpas, residual
effects of Santería on a family, the battle between Puritans and Witches, and much more. To follow Ileata, you can find her on Twitter @Ileata and for all things Malliard head over to www.malliard.com or @Malliard on Twitter.
Welcome back Jack! Author, researcher, and disclosure advocate Jack Brewer once again graces the airwaves this week on The Malliard Report. Following the wake of Hurricane Irma, Jack joins Jim to discuss the state of MUFON, tips for bettering FOIA requests, and survives a barrage of rapid fire questions from the Duck Pond.
If you have any familiarity with the paranormal field then it is a given that it is known that MUFON is suffering from a near catastrophic implosion. Many different factors have been attributed to the decline of the organization (infighting, selling out, infiltration, mismanagement, et.al) but Jack believes that two major issues are plaguing the movement: 3 letter agencies involvement and succumbing to the razzle dazzle of the entertainment field. Like so many other branches of the paranormal tree, the UFO community has fallen victim to show business. Legitimate research and analysis is being traded in for entertainment driven fodder. Rather than show the world irrefutable evidence of UFOs, many are selling themselves with cheap antics in hopes to be the next History Channel marathon series.
A topic that is brought up early on in the episode, but is one that isn’t regularly discussed here on The Malliard Report is that of weather modification. So many are quick to write off the idea as that of chemtrail conspiracy theories but fail to realize that weather modification is in fact an actual weaponized thing. While it is theorized that weather modification has been used in a militaristic/weaponized manner since the 1940s, actual declassified instances first appear in the 1960s during the Vietnam War with Operation Popeye.
Operation Popeye was “…was a highly classified weather modification program in Southeast Asia during 1967–1972. The cloud seeding operation during the Vietnam War ran from March 20, 1967 until July 5, 1972 in an attempt to extend the monsoon season, specifically over areas of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The operation was used to induce rain and extend the East Asian Monsoon season in support of U.S. government efforts related to the War in Southeast Asia. The former U.S. Secretary of Defense, Robert S. McNamara, was aware that there might be objections raised by the international scientific community but said in a memo to the president that such objections had not in the past been a basis for prevention of military activities considered to be in the interests of U.S. national security. The chemical weather modification program was conducted from Thailand over Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam and allegedly sponsored by Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and CIA without the authorization of then Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird who had categorically denied to Congress that a program for modification of the weather for use as a tactical weapon even existed.”
This was not the first instance of weather manipulation and most certainly not the last either. Many other projects and experiments have been documented over the years such as Project Stormfury, Project Cumulus, and the unfortunate Lynmouth Disaster where 35 people were killed due to severe flooding from cloud seeding experiments conducted by the Royal Air Force. So with this information, one can’t help but wonder about the “natural” possibility of the recent rash of hurricanes that battered the Caribbean and Florida coast (Jack’s stomping grounds).
To round out the episode Jim calls out all of you listeners. Yes, it is your turn to fulfill your listenerly duties. (Listenerly is a real word! Pack your bags, because once again The Malliard Report is heading north of the border. This week Jim features fellow podcasters, conspiracy truthers, and fans of the unknown, Grimerica hosts, Darren and Graham as they talk about Sasquatch, UFOs, secret military operations, and much more.
Grimerica features two very unique guests that bring very different approaches to the table when discussing the unknown. Darren or “D-Ron” “…spends a lot of time with his family, but the majority of his free time is spent swearing at computers that don’t generate perfect audio quality, and screaming at his houseplants to grow faster. His skeptical approach to the phenomena investigated on The Grimerica Show is tempered by his libertarian leanings, though this combination frequently leads him to crush the dreams of anyone looking for a high-rated synchronicity. Working in high steel construction has given him the privilege of having a bird’s-eye perspective on a variety of subject matter, both literally and figuratively. His avoidance of cameras has nothing to do with paranoia, taking his picture will, very literally, steal his soul. Someday, Darren hopes to bust a few caps in Sasquatch, while he has more than a few caps swirling around in his own head.”
Then we have Graham or “Grahambo” as he likes to be called, who …”wants to live in a world of spiritual enlightenment and brilliant health. As a veteran podcaster, his journey in alternative media was sparked by a multiple-witness UFO sighting that forced him to question the very nature of reality. He has recently petitioned Tim Horton’s to serve hashbrowns dusted with monatomic gold, and coffee-to-go that is perfectly calibrated for enemas. When he’s not podcasting or tolerating Darren, Graham can be found sitting cross-legged in the desert, or fervently digging in the vast subterranean crystal mines outside Vancouver. Clean and sober for more than a decade, he lends an open-minded clarity to the Grimerica Show. When he wears Daisy Dukes, Graham’s calves really pop. Favorite subjects include consciousness, spirituality, alternative history, and conspiracy facts.”
A topic that is covered on this episode and certainly is one that makes for interesting conversation is would you kill a Sasquatch? Imagine that you are out hunting and all of a sudden you cross paths with a Sasquatch. You have a perfect shot lined up to take it out. Do you do it? What would be the risks involved if you do kill it? Would people ever believe you if you let it go?

“Light is the force of reclamation stewarded by the power of creation. Light is nothing less than life itself.” If light and life are one in the same within this great cosmic mystery that we tread through, then would it not be advantageous to work within the light? This week on the Malliard Report, Jim’s guest Ty Majestic does just that. Ty is an advocate and practitioner of light work and is doing his very best to help spread the awareness and positivity that he himself seeks.
After an encounter at a young age with an inter-dimensional/extraterrestrial being, Ty was commissioned to be a light worker, and has since made it his lifelong passion to fulfill this role to the very best of his ability. Being a light worker often finds itself surrounded by a shroud of confusion; not by the worker themselves but rather those around the individual. People often want to lump light workers into a religious category, but light work is much like the term “spiritual.” It means many different things to many different people, however, when boiled down to a simple premise, a light worker is an individual that wants to make a difference in the world and make the world a better place.
Actual assigned light workers are a different breed of people all together. Light workers are old souls. In fact, to be a light worker, one must have been through this crazy journey of life at least 144 other times. The goal of these light workers is to impart wisdom from their previous journeys, to those that are still on their early voyages, but this is not to stop anyone from practicing light work. Light work is a process that benefits humanity and the Earth as a whole. This does not need to be some grand over top gesture every time, something as small as an encouraging word to a random stranger could be seen as light work. It’s about being a whole as a wanderer on this cosmic journey. All of us can benefit from and by using these principles. Each day try doing something nice for someone. Give some encouragement to the barista that just got chewed out by that annoying customer, help someone with loading their groceries into their car, volunteer or donate to your local animal rescue. Let’s all be positive vibe merchants spreading our goods through the universe. Ya get what ya give, ya feel me?
