Marla Varner of Penny Lane Quilts creates exciting quilts in modern improvisational style. But she didn’t start that way. Marla began with traditional quilts and I’m excited to hear about her journey to a different style of making. ================ I first saw Lindsey Neill’s Pen and Paper quilts when there were a lot of adorable snail blocks showing up in my instagram feed. Lindsey creates whimsical modern and minimalist quilts. Let’s hear how she comes up with her creations and what might be around the corner for us ================ Cindy Needham tag line on her about page is ‘Quilting Changed My Life’, I feel the same way. She is an avid quilter that, like me, quit her day job to create a business. She travels to teach and has a class on Craftsy. I’m very interested in her work on linen, how cool is that? ================ Richy Lainson has a fabulous sense of color. He combines things and everyone goes, why didn't i think of that!  He has a new role designing projects for the BasicGrey company to showcase their fabric and he is on our Splendid Sampler design team! ================ Visit American Patchwork & Quilting at Visit host Pat Sloan at ================ BONUS for our podcast subscribers!
