The Utah Jazz played their 4th pre-season game in Portland last night and while they won the call card of the franchise its defense was non-existent. Why were the Jazz so weak defensively and how concerning should it be?   David Locke, radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA Insider, thinks it is a bigger issue for the Utah Jazz.

Last year, when the Jazz made the run to the playoff their was a desperation and an urgency that any loss would knock them out of the playoffs.  That intensity can't be replicated for an 82 game schedule.  So what do the Jazz do to create the same urgency and focus, what do they use to place their stake in the ground.

The Culture Code interview series continues as Thabo Sefolosha brings his years in the NBA of perspective to the Jazz culture.
