Still no word on Pokémon HOME, but we are getting four new Pokémon Funko Pop figures? Pokémon GO is stacking even more events for February on top of an already busy month. Gigantamax Toxtricity arrives to Max Raid battles (along with Kingler, Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, and Orbeetle) for the next couple weeks. Pokémon Masters is getting a new Sync Pair that involves Professor Oak! Voting for Pokémon Day has opened up this month too!

Pokémon HOME is coming and we now know the details. Pokémon Masters gets a Gen 3 fan-favorite pair, Pokémon GO is dropping event after event this February. Milcery is now taking over Max Raids in Pokémon Sword and Shield with two new sweets you can collect. Pokémon Sword/Shield also passed Pokémon Sun/Moon in sales numbers after only two months of being on the market, we dive into that before HOME is released.

The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra is the first Pokémon DLC coming to Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield in 2020. With new Legendary Pokémon, new Galarian Pokémon, and with 200 old Pokémon returning, you will be able to purchase this DLC for $30. The Isle of Amor arrives in June, The Crown Tundra in the Fall of 2020. Three new Legendary Pokémon have been shown such as Kubfu, Urshifu, and Calyrex. Gigantamax Forms of Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon have also been shown off. Changes to the Sword and Shield TCG are coming in February. We cover the entire Pokémon Direct in this episode.

Niantic just settled a 4 million dollar lawsuit regarding trespassing. A new, mysterious Pokémon was shown off, and the internet thinks they know what it could be. Pokémon Center got a new revamp of plushies, including every Pokémon from Johto, plus some Halloween merchandise. Pokémon Masters apologized to players by offering them 6,000 gems for their bug issues.

According to a Famitsu article from a month ago, Game Freak has stated that the models in Pokémon Sword & Shield are NEW and made from scratch (not taken from past games). A new trailer also debuted showing some new, creamy Pokémon to catch. Pokémon GO released an update to Trainer battles, but then pulled the update due to complaints. Pokémon Worlds is open for registration, and attendees can get a special Aerodactyl for showing up.

The Pokémon Sword and Shield Direct unveiled new Pokémon including Corviknight, Wooloo, Gossifleur, and Drednaw. The Wild Area brings what seems to be the raid mechanic from Pokémon GO into a Zelda-like environment for multiplayer action. Game Freak showed off characters such as your Rival, the Champion, and the Professor of Galar. We talk about how Dynamax can provide more possibilities over Z-Moves or Mega Stones. Finally, we talk about how the Legendary Pokémon may be related to CMYK.

The Pokémon Company has announced that there will be a full rotation of the current cards in the TCG format the day before Pokémon Worlds. Cards such as Ultra Ball, Guzma, and Tapu Lele will not be playable starting August 15th, 2019. There are Pokémon GO issues in Milwaukee, WI, so restraining orders are in line for some players. Mr. Mime was almost cut from the Detective Pikachu movie, but after talking to the president of The Pokémon Company, it made the cut!

Mewtwo is no longer an EX Raid Pokémon in Pokémon GO! Ash gets an Eevee in the anime, making it possible that the new Pokémon in Let's Go is not an Eevee evolution. Korea gets a bunch of events, a special edition PikaVee Nintendo Switch has been announced at GameStop and Best Buy, and there was more footage shown of Let's Go from the Nintendo Direct this past week.
