I absolutely love this podcast. I find myself taking notes when listening and I just look back at it and remember what the message was about. I am so thankful for this podcast because when I miss church I feel so empty and I need to hear something so I’ll listen to an episode from this podcast and it’s a message I needed!
This podcast has been such a blessing in my life. Not only has it helped me become closer to God, it helped me understand some hard things that I never really could understand on my own. The way that each message is delivered speaks so much truth and I will always recommend this podcast to any individual needing guidance.

I love this podcast so much. God has used it in an amazing way to grow me spiritually, and I am so grateful for the wisdom y’all share weekly! I grew up in a Christian home, but I feel like God has used this podcast to deepen my faith. I think he has grown me so much in the past year and a half that i’ve been listening to the Porch and I am beyond grateful for it!

I love how open and real they are about tough topics like sex and relationships.
Dishonest and manipulative
This podcast spreads dangerous misinformation, especially about lgbt people, by cherry picking studies and leaving out a ton of information. It is NOT true that being gay takes 20 years off your life; that’s based on a single problematic study done during the AIDS crisis and even the authors have come forward to say that if they did it again today, life expectancy would be far better. And everything—including that Stockholm study—suggests that increased depression in the community has to do with being marginalized. Sweden may be better, but that doesn’t mean it’s without homophobia. This information is easy to find but somehow never comes up on the podcast.
And that’s just the beginning. There is all kinds of nonsense hidden behind these friendly-sounding words, especially about sex and relationships. Please, don’t use lectures as your primary source for relationship advice. They constantly make statements that are not supported by reality.
The impact that listening to the Porch has made on my life is incredible. I have learned and grown so much through these sermons. The pastors at the Porch are not afraid to talk about the gritty stuff others are afraid to speak on. Keep it up!

I’m a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or Mormons as we are sometimes known! I love this podcast so much! I listen to it every morning and I feel the spirit so strongly! Love all of these messages and they help me being Jesus into my day to day

I listen all the way from California. Although technically not a young adult anymore at 30. I find how all these topics are so relatable for everyday life. It’s tough living a godly life in this day and these inspiring messages help me make it a little easier. They help in my spiritual growth each week. Keep posting and coming up with great topics

Such a Blessing
This podcast has been such a help in my walk with Christ. Although I'm a bit younger than their targeted demographic, the topics are relevant and engaging; I would reccomend this for anyone 17 and older. May God bless you guys!!
Thankful for this podcast!
I discovered this podcast in November of 2018. I was feeling very lonely and I felt like I needed to reach out to a community of like-minded people who are hungry for God. This podcast has encouraged me, convicted me, and strengthened me. I can’t wait until I’m done with nursing school and be free to experience a service at the Porch on Tuesday nights! Highly recommend to any and all young adults who are hungry for more!
Doesn’t get any better than this
I have been listening to this podcast for over a year now, and I’m convinced that it’s the best podcast out there if you want to understand who God is and who you are. This was created with young adults in mind, but the principles apply to all ages, and I would personally recommend this podcast to anyone age 16 or older. All negative comments I have read in the reviews are similar to what I see all over the internet, where a sentence is taken in isolation and completely out of context of the ideas and principles that are being taught.
These guys do a fantastic job of recognizing relevant and important topics and teach with such clarity and common sense that the fog is removed and the truth is clear. They approach difficult and sometimes controversial topics that many teachers stay away from, and often speak from their own experience, having been in the trenches themselves.
If it were possible to give a 6-star rating, I would. Men of God! Fantastic!
So many wonderful and valid points for young adults in college. Start training now friends, life is a marathon! The part where he says that “all things come from God even heroine and other drugs” what he says after that is that we as a world use things that God made (as in God made the different elements that are combined to make drugs like that) and we as humans abuse those. He’s not saying “heroine is good! You can thank God for that”
The one star review was written by somebody who’s favorite verses from the Bible are generally spat at unbelievers by “Christians” who don’t understand that God’s love is all you need. But hey, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion and interpretation. All sinners, whether it be sexual, idolatry, substance abuse, or as they put it “fornicators” (gosh I hate that word) ALL SINNERS are set free from those chains and will be welcomed in Heaven simply because you repent and believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and died on the cross to save you from your sins. (John 3:16) Boom. Spread the love people.
God has demonstrated his love for you and this isn’t it

This man said that, this stuff is okay to use drugs yet. Doesn’t God tell you to live a sober life sober mind? He’s saying that following God’s word is “a doctrine of demons” IM DEAD! I was dead because you’re a doctrine of demon. Telling people how to live life how you want, your going to make it to heaven as long as you believe in Jesus and THATS NOT THE WAY!

SO uplifting and resonating for young adults
This podcast is great. It’s only a portion of the actual worship with The Porch but the message is still the same. The Watermark Church team truly has a talented staff that knows how to speak to young adults about real issues that we face in today’s culture and how we, as Christians, can face them head-on.

Jaclyn Brooke kept on saying so many good things about it on her YT channel and now that I’m 17 I have been really wanting to dive deeper in my relationship with God, and better equip myself while really growing my mind and heart for what’s to come in the future. I’ve been taking everything to heart and I can’t thank you enough for what your doing for Gods kingdom!

Convicting while Encouraging
These podcasts are soooo good! Every single one of them ties in biblical truths while relating it to young adults, getting specific about what college age students struggle with and providing helpful, biblical advice on how to handle it. I wasn’t a podcast listener, then I found the Porch Podcast, and now I can’t listen to enough!
Even from hundreds of miles away, Jesus is working through the ministry at watermark and the porch! I love Sharon these very real and very relatable messages with friends of mine who are looking to grow in their relationships with Jesus and I find them so helpful in my life as well! Keep doing what your doing for Jesus ❤️
I don’t have enough good things to say about pastor JP. These sermons keep your attention, they’re raw and real, and I can feel God helping me apply this knowledge each day. I started listening a year ago and I listen to one every single morning and there’s been a real transformation in my life. I wish I didn’t live 16 hours away from this church or I would TOTALLY call this my home church.

I’ve been listening to the Porch for a year or so now from North Carolina and absolutely love it. JP and David speak the truth in love to young adults like me and the practical, boots on the ground wisdom is life-giving and encouraging. I have listened to a number of Sunday morning sermons from Watermark as well and can definitely say that if I ever move to Dallas I would become a member/serve at Watermark.

Got this reference from Kanakuk. Absolutely has hanged my life. I am not being hyperbolic either. I have filled my life — up until “The Porch”— with what I would say is pretty repetitive and eventually meaningless music. After I found it, first I haven’t stopped listening to it since, second and 100% correlating with the first I am much happier because I fill my life with this joy and thought provoking sermons. I am enjoying learning again! Subscribed to a bunch of other educational podcasts after this on. No way they will be as good, but thank you JP!
So Much Truth.
This podcast is hands down my favorite! Since beginning to listen to it I have found The Porch on Facebook and tune in every Tuesday night. I have listened all the way through the episodes many times, each time gaining new nuggets of knowledge. The Porch has truly impacted my life in more ways than one, God is truly alive in this ministry! Can’t wait to see how it continues to reach so many people! Stumbled across The Porch a few weeks ago & cannot stop listening! So refreshing, but also convicting. Never fails to shed a new light on truths believers may have heard for years.
The Porch at Watermark Church has been instrumental to my spiritual growth. I first came across the podcasts about 5 years ago. I began listening on my 2 hour commute to work in Los Angeles. At the time I was not committed to any church. The messages at The Porch are so relevant and do not avoid any of the tough issues. JP’s transparency and outright-brutal honesty at times have caused me to evaluate my own sin more honestly. I am now not only attending church regularly, I am fully committed to our God, his kingdom, and his will for humanity. Thank you! Keep on doing what you’re doing.

Confused Young Adult
I started listening to these messages when I decided to dig deeper in faith. JP and David helped me realize that I needed to stop merely identifying as a Christian and start actively pursuing a relationship with Christ. God bless the porch.
I began listening through the Porch App and it is fantastic! Lots of great messages that apply to the life of young adults weather its marriage, dating, pride, pornography, homosexuality, the Grace of God, etc. they get into the Word and speak to what we deal with.
