Sommer goes into depth about what you can expect as the pregnant mom from your massage experience.
In episode seven, Rolando and I continue our discussion on various modalities. In this episode, we discuss some techniques that work specifically on the things that don’t necessarily heal on their own with conventional massages: the fascia and the cerebrospinal fluid. The massage modalitites discussed are: Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, and Rolfing. We also discuss how we implement these modalities in our massages.
In episode six, Rolando and I continue our discussion of the various types of massage modalities. In this episode, we talk about some of the "non massage" massage techniques and delve into energy work: Reiki, Healing (Therapuetic) Touch, and Polarity Therapy as well as discuss how we use energy in our treatments.
In episode five, Rolando and I are joined by special guests Sommer and her son as we continue our discussions about various massage techniques. In addition, we also discuss the different issues female massage therapists face when having to implement deeper massage techniques on male clients as well as how we integrate these massage styles into our massages.
For episode four, Rolando and I begin a series of podcasts focused on the most common massage modalities used by massage therapists.
