In episode seven, Rolando and I continue our discussion on various modalities. In this episode, we discuss some techniques that work specifically on the things that don’t necessarily heal on their own with conventional massages: the fascia and the cerebrospinal fluid. The massage modalitites discussed are: Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, and Rolfing. We also discuss how we implement these modalities in our massages.

In episode five, Rolando and I are joined by special guests Sommer and her son as we continue our discussions about various massage techniques. For this episode, we discuss the medium to deeper massage styles: Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, Thai Massage, and Strain/Counterstrain. In addition, we also discuss the different issues female massage therapists face when having to implement deeper massage techniques on male clients as well as how we integrate these massage styles into our massages.
