South Texas College of Law Professor Josh Blackman discusses the record for the federal government’s lawyers in the past Supreme Court term. The Solicitor General’s office posted a better record than last term in cases in which it was a party to—but it still barely passed the 50-50 mark, winning twelve cases and losing ten.
