This week The PMO Podcast™ Featured Story presents "Top Three Characteristics of a Business Driven PMO" presented by Mark Perry (about Mark), host of The PMO Podcast™. As many of you know, I am a big proponent of the concept of the Business Driven PMO. About a decade ago, after performing some basic PMO research, it became clear to those of us involved in the PMO research project, that the findings were showing a cluster of data in two distinct and measureable areas. At the time, we coined these to clusters Business Driven PMOs and Inwardly Focused PMOs. Today, we present the top three characteristics of a business driven PMO.

The PMO Podcast™ Points Memo asks, "Is Project Risk Management tied to Personal Risk Management?" This last month, I have been spending more time than usual discussing Project Risk Management with peers, colleagues, and some of my PMO manager friends. Our discussions came about on account of each of us having some kind of personal project at home to manage. And what we discovered was a correlation between Project Risk Management and Personal Risk Management.

The PMO Podcast™ Mailbag answers a listener question about qualities you look for when interviewing a project manager candidate.
