Every Thursday on Sorry We're Stoned, mother-daughter duo Tish Cyrus and Brandi Cyrus sit down to have candid conversations about anything and everything from current events and Cyrus family stories to advice and design inspiration from the hottest mom in the game. This podcast will provide fans a chance to connect with Mama Tish (aka MT) and Brandi on a personal level. There’s a lot going on in these busy ladies' lives, and on this podcast, nothing is off limits... even getting stoned.
This week, Mama Tish is turning over a new leaf. She’s been staying up late, taking walks and even swimming laps in her pool (family swim expert Cody Simpson was encouraging, but maybe not super impressed). Meanwhile, Brandi needs some High Design advice of her own as she has been taking steps to make her house into a home, including taking a page out of Tish’s book (floating shelves!!) and discovering the perfect pillow.
Even though we’re on episode nine, Mama Tish is still having trouble figuring out the whole recording situation... probably because she’s high. Brandi, on the other hand, has bigger sh!t to deal with, literally, because Little Dog, Astra, and all her furry friends have decided that the middle of the night is now the best time to go number two.
Brandi drank so much coffee before today’s recording that she honestly feels she might be high on something and Tish has spent the morning outside planting something very large (no... not that kind of plant). Life of the party and queen of podcasting, Kaitlyn Bristowe, joins Brandi and Tish to get some advice for Dancing with the Stars, to talk about her thoughts on relationships in the time of coronavirus, and to pair up with Mama Tish for a joint segment of Dear MT and KB.
Sorry, we’re a little stir-crazy this week, but don’t worry Stoners, we still have plenty of fun segments and fam stories to bring your way! Brandi is pushing hard for a stoner-themed travel show with Mom and a Cyrus family Christmas album (Tish on tambourine and/or backup vocals). Mat Sanders, who also happens to be Tish’s design obsession, joins the co-hosts to talk about Miley’s home renovation and answers some design-related listener questions.
Tish has a new obsession with circles and Brandi is renaming today’s advice segment “Dear BC” because she has all the info when it comes to sibling rivalry. In the second half of the episode, we're joined by Tish’s childhood friend, the Democratic Representative for the 100th district of Kentucky in the Kentucky State House of Representatives, Terri Branham, who touches on the opioid crisis, the battle for legalized medicinal marijuana, and why politicians need to remember that their true work is public service.
Brandi is officially the tannest (or the most tan?!) she’s ever been and Tish has been spending the past few days planting her heart out. Missy, aka the real-life Tami Taylor, joins Brandi and Tish to talk about all the shenanigans they got into growing up in Ashland, and to share how she and Tish have stayed so close over the years.
Brandi and Tish the Dish have a lot of catching up to do on today’s episode, from Billy Ray’s Father's Day gifts to Brandi’s recent horse shows to their mutual TV crush. Mama Tish is coming to us this week from Lake Arrowhead where she has found some new inspo to share on today’s segment of High Design. Brandi, with the help of Olivia Caridi, teaches Tish how to post a proper thirst trap and shares tips on how to maintain long distance relationships.
On today’s episode of Sorry We’re Stoned, our favorite mother-daughter duo dives into traumatic experiences with cheese sticks, advice for making it in the acting world, and the discovery of a real-life Old Town Road. In the second half of the episode, Shirley Raines, Founder of Beauty 2 The Streetz, joins Tish and Brandi to discuss how she found her purpose bringing hope to the homeless and what we can do to better understand the homeless population.
On episode two of Sorry We’re Stoned, Brandi explains why her and Miley’s horses may be having a love affair, and Tish gives the dish on the podcast’s new number one fan, Billy Ray. In the second half of today’s episode, Brandi and Tish are joined by an incredible guest, Annita Hetoevėhotohke’e Lucchesi, a Cheyenne survivor of domestic and sexual violence and the founder of the Sovereign Bodies Institute for research on missing and murdered Indigenous women.
