This is Coronavirus 411, the latest COVID-19 info… Just the facts… for Friday March 20th, 2020.  With over 14,000 cases of COVID-19 in the U.S. and over 200 fatalities, The Governor of California has issued a statewide “stay at home” order to 40 million citizens. The Mayor of New York City warns that the city is 2 to 3 weeks away from running out of medical supplies. Bank of America will allow customers experiencing hardship due to the virus to delay mortgage and credit card payments. The State Department has raised the global travel advisory to 4, do not travel.  U.S. citizens abroad should return home, or make plans to stay where they are for an indefinite amount of time.  

The European Union is willing to extend the Brexit deadline in light of the pandemic. The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Malaysia has placed a nationwide “Movement Control Order” starting Sunday, the armed forces will be used to enforce it. The president of the International Olympic Committee, said they are not considering cancelling the summer games. China has gone a 2nd day without a locally transmitted case. They need 14 days in a row to declare the outbreak over. Italy’s numbers continue to rise and as of today, they report 3,405 deaths, more than mainland China.
