Gregory Iron talks with WWE producer and Wrestle Days creator Keith Blomberg. Keith has helped put together a ton of documentaries for WWE Network including WWE Day Of and Raw Reunion.   Greg and Keith sit down in LA to take us behind the scenes of WWE productions and talks about the hectic schedule that a WWE prediter goes through, some of his interactions with the likes of Steve Austin, Jeff Jarrett, Zack Ryder, Xavier Woods and more. Keith also discusses the creation of the Wrestle Days documentary series, the time his dad stalked WCW wrestlers at a casino for him, other jobs Keith had in entertainment -- including being Rob Zombie's driver and house sitter -- and what he went through on his road to get the job with WWE, starting with a car accident in Maryland.   Before the interview, Aaron & Greg discuss the first video package Aaron created in 1995: a montage of him tricking his neighbor into his apartment and fighting him. Plus, did Hulk Hogan REALLY see Dr. D slap Mr. T? We analyze the situation in a brand new "Hulk Hogan's Lie of the Week."   ---   Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. Gregory Iron & Aaron Bauer chat with "Breaking Bonaduce" star, international recording artist and music therapist Jaclyn Bradley.   Jaclyn's passion and pursuit of music took her international -- from living with Danny Bonaduce and eating dinner with Lemmy in LA, to singing on "The Voice" in Holland and Ireland's Got Talent, to performing music therapy for cancer patients and victims of traumatic brain injuries right here in Ohio -- Jaclyn has lived an amazing life. She shares her story and examines some tracks off of The WrestleMania Album with Greg & Aaron.   Before the interview, Greg & Aaron listen to AWFUL pro wrestler cameo shout-outs, with Greg surprising Aar with a Cameo from one of his least favorite wrestlers. Aaron Bauer conducts an "interview" with Gregory Iron -- interview used loosely as some questions are great, while others are absurd.   Aaron starts out hot with a VERY personal question, and follows up with more tame ones like: How did Greg come up with using Bobby Brown's "On Our Own" as theme song, and what was his alternative pick? Besides Hulk Hogan, who were Greg's favorite WWF Superstars and tag teams in his first few years as a fan? What does Greg want to do with his life after wrestling? How does a Greg Iron workout work exactly?   Greg also reads a series of creepy messages from a fan about a special match and reveals who he would kill, marry, and kiss when given the choices of three of his closest friends.. Johnny Gargano, Zach Gowen, and Candice LeRae. These questions and many more are answered!   Get an extra 30 minutes of content over at Patreon.com/IronOnWrestling   ---   Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. As we head into 44.OH! Presents: Murdered Dead Killed on March 19th in Cleveland, Gregory Iron sits down with 44.OH! member Atticus Cogar.   For the first time in a podcast, "The Silver Teeth Satan" talks candidly with Greg about his career and early years growing up in Ohio. In part one of this in-depth two part interview, you'll hear his thoughts on the riot that nearly occurred with 44.OH! and the fans after the now infamous GCW "Run Rickey Run" event in New Jersey. Atticus also discusses the real danger during the incident with fans throwing their chairs towards 44.OH! at GCW "Chopper City" last November in Philly.   Atticus also opens up about his love for skateboarding, growing up in a bad part of Cleveland, the gang violence and drug culture that he got involved with at the age of 14, a fight that led to him nearly losing everything, spending time in a juvenile detention center and how it changed him, starting a backyard wrestling federation, being discovered by Rickey Shane Page and deciding he wanted to pursue wrestling professionally.    Before the interview, Greg tells Aaron Bauer about his Pizza Deathmatch in Texas with Luigi Primo and how his career has finally peaked after wrestling at a Hooters. Aaron and Greg try discussing scary characters on the independent wrestling scene and somehow end up chatting about CWA/K-Mart parking lot wrestler Lick Z. Sac, an infamous Eddie "The Jock" vs. Juggernaut match, Fake Stings, Fake Doinks, fake superhero characters, and Aaron tells about an "powerful" character that his trainer Rod Destiny came up with.   **WARNING: Hulk Hogan's Lie of the Week contains strong language. Greg and Shane sit down for the first time to discuss Mercer's life and career.   Shane talks about his upbringing in Kentucky, coming up through backyard wrestling, buying a wrestler's license and becoming pro without any formal training, his love of video games, his views on psychology and love for "explosiveness" in pro wrestling, his incredible feats of strength and maneuvers that defy logic, refusing to follow the blueprint of life, ECW, The Undertaker, wrestling Hurricane Helms, and the importance of IWA-MS to him and professional wrestling.   Before the interview, Aaron debuts his own theme and talks about leading his team of young men and women to special olympic gold, Aaron and Greg answer more of your questions, and Greg rips apart a Hulk Hogan/Mike Tyson lie that upon further investigation.. has a bit of truth. --- Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. Trained by WWE NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano in 2006, Iron has conquered his disability and gone on to work with some of the top names in wrestling including "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, CM Punk, The Dudley Boyz, Tomasso Ciampa and many others.   Co-host Aaron Bauer has worked in the professional wrestling industry for over two decades. Gregory Iron sits down with ECW Original and former WWE Superstar--Tommy Dreamer!   Tommy spends some time with Greg chatting about his locker room routines and superstitions -- like how he has not washed his knee pads or wraps in over 20 years -- his biggest fears, his Goldberg-esque winning streak that began in 1989, training with WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz, how Rocky Johnson almost killed his dream before it even began, and his roles behind the scenes over the years.   What did he learn in terms of psychology from the likes of Paul Heyman, Mick Foley, Terry Funk, Greg Valentine and Rick Martel? What was it like shutting the lights off on ECW at a house show in 2001? How did Tommy help guys like The Young Bucks and WWE Raw commentator Vic Joseph? What does Tommy think of AEW? And what major video game company approached Tommy and ECW about being one of their launching titles before they took a deal with Akklaim? Gregory Iron sits down with San Antonio-based Heavy Metal Wrestling promoters Dylan Dunbar & Nerd Rock Josh to talk Texas life and bad pro wrestling! On December 23rd, 2019 Heavy Metal Wrestling will begin streaming all 50 episodes of their unique and entertaining weekly series "Thunder" FOR FREE on Twitch. While Heavy Metal will still be running monthly events, the weekly series came to a close this past November. Promoters and producers "Nerd Rock" Josh Del Barrio and Dylan Dunbar discuss how running weekly shows benefitted Texas wrestling, as well as Heavy Metal's creation.   Dunbar talks entering the business, training under the guidance of Kaientai member and Smackdown's #1 announcer -- Funaki, and Greg and Dunbar discuss an unbelievable incident that occurred between a terrible Texas pro wrestler named "Massive" and a fan sitting front row. Greg talks to Josh about touring with the band "We The Kings," the time he had to run to the video store to let Shawn Michaels borrow a DVD, and that other time he hung out at HBK's mom's house. This trio also discusses some of their favorite terrible pro wrestling matches, wrestler names, and so much more!   Before the podcast, Greg chats with Aaron about his insane travel weekend, going from Chicago to Buffalo on no sleep, wrestling Tommy Dreamer and taking an insane move from the top rope. Aaron discusses his return to pro wrestling commentary for one night only and tells us about the time Rod Destiny decided to change the National Anthem at a wrestling event. Also, we bring you an all-new "Hulk Hogan Lie of the Week," featuring Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, and sticking with the bad wrestling theme, Greg plays a terrible promo from "Mr. RBI" Izeah Bonds.   - - - Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. Gregory Iron sits down with the man behind "Kayfabe News," former Pro Wrestling Illustrated writer and all-around hilarious human -- Colin Hunter.   By day, Colin Hunter studies things like black holes in a quantum science research institute. By later-in-the-day, this same guy churns out articles for KayfabeNews.com, a satirical site that is pro wrestling's equivalent to The Onion.   Now entering its eighth year, Colin chats with Greg about his journey into writing pro wrestling satire for Kayfabe News. Colin tells us how he never thought wrestling was real as a kid and how his newspaper journalism gig in Kitchener, Ontario led to an interview at the home of then-TNA Champion Christian Cage. Colin also shares how he got his foot in the door of PWI, how much of the Pro Wrestling Illustrated stories he wrote were phony, which wrestling match makes him cry, the writing process that goes into creating a Kayfabe News article, how many articles he has written since 2012, times readers thought his Kayfabe News articles were real, the difference between good satire and bad, his views on the art form and the magic behind pro wrestling, his Kayfabe News web series, and how stalking and befriending Mick Foley helped in creating Kayfabe News -- plus so much more!   Before the interview, Greg tells Aaron about a "cancelled" wresting event turned "meet & greet" and the opponent he avoided facing from this past weekend. Aaron and Greg discuss the WWE release of Luke Harper, working with Brodie Lee on the indies, and how an angle between Lee and Kevin Nash saw a drunk Big Sexy in Brodie's face accusing him of having something not-so-big-and-sexy hanging from his beard. Finally, Greg unveils a new weekly segment involving The Hulkster. Gregory Iron sits down with "The Weapon of Sass Destruction," "The Feminist Icon" -- EFFY.   EFFY is never one to hold back his opinions, and that doesn't change in this conversation with Greg. EFFY talks about his favorite video game systems, his very first match, not actually being a pro wrestler, wrestling psychology -- the right moments to rest during a match, positioning and communication within the ring -- and being in attendance to witness Ric Flair's "Special Night In Greenville."   EFFY also discusses his time in the music industry; managing musical acts, playing in a Christian rock band, and running the Twitter account of Hootie & The Blowfish. You'll find out the reason behind the EFFY name, how he broke into wrestling by wandering into an NXT show high, what it's like for EFFY being openly gay in pro wrestling while trying to change the perception of homosexuality within the industry, how he entered pro wrestling with a 5-year business plan, investing in himself and producing high-quality video content for marketing, and more!   Before the podcast, Greg chats with co-host Aaron Bauer about getting into pro wrestling with a business plan -- or lack thereof. Aaron talks about promoting strategies he learned from wrestling promoter and trainer, Rod Destiny, and how Rod had a tendency to use entrance music that was already used by more famous wrestlers to get over. Greg shares the story about his first payday in pro wrestling, and the importance of merchandise in indie pro wrestling. - - - Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. Gregory Iron sits down and spends Thanksgiving Eve with one of the most controversial wrestling personalities -- The N****taker!   Many pro wrestling fans learned of "The Man From The Dark Side of The Ghetto" from an independent wrestling flyer that went viral in December of 2015, but no one has explored the mind behind this supposed deadman.. until now!   N****taker talks candidly with Greg about his debut in the Cleveland Wrestling Alliance with manager Cracker Bearer, what famous pay-per-view appearance N****taker compares his debut with, making a caucasian ring announcer feel uncomfortable about saying his controversial moniker aloud, getting his start in pro wrestling back in the mid-90's, his favorite version of The Undertaker, his alter-ego of Michael McMahon -- illegitimate son of Vince --  the controversial slur that he said to Carlito's face about his father Carlos Colon, why he believes he would fit in with AEW, the evolution of The N****taker look, investing in his custom mask and costume, how a muscle disorder allows him to wrestle just like The Undertaker, being billed on "PG Shows" as "Soul Taker," contemplating making "N****taker" merchandise, discovering that there was ANOTHER N****TAKER that existed before him in New York/New Jersey, how he reacted when the original N****taker passed away and how people DM'ed him thinking he was dead, if he would have formed an alliance with the original N****taker, who would have won in a match between the two N****takers, and what inspires him to continue building a legacy for The N****taker.   Before the interview, The Gym Nasty Boys do a special intro for this special holiday edition of the podcast, and Greg and Aaron talk turkey as Aaron shares a story about a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner he had at Denny's with Sabu, Rob Van Dam, Tracy Smothers and of course, Howard "Animal Steele."   After the interview, Greg and Aaron do an extended outro so that they can fully unpack what they just listened to in the N****taker interview, including the fact that there were TWO DIFFERENT AND COMPLETELY UNRELATED N****TAKERS. Greg discusses the research he did to find out more information on the life and death of the original N****taker from the early 2000s, the OG N****taker's most infamous matches -- which included a low budget casket match -- N****taker's stint in WWE developmental promotion FCW, and how he ultimately passed away in 2018.   - - -   Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. Host Gregory Iron chats with independent wrestling rising star -- Kody Lane! Trained by WWE NXT's Jordan Myles (fka ACH), Kody Lane talks about his journey from one of the smallest towns in Oklahoma to becoming a pro wrestler and working some of the biggest promotions and names in the industry. Kody tells Greg about his first experiences learning about pro wrestling from old ECW videos, the unlikely WWE tag team he initially fell in love with, his love for WWE Superstar Edge, tattoos, paying for and going through professional wrestling training in a local park, the terrible first gimmick he was saddled with, training with Jordan Myles, his longest pro wrestling drives, having the same name as a porn star, and more. Co-host Aaron Bauer is MIA this week, so Greg sits down with longtime friend, lifting buddy and mask and costume designer Sarah Snyder (@aeon_flex on Instagram for mask/costume commissions)! Host Gregory Iron sits down with the toughest son of a bitch in WWE history, the one and only "Stone Cold" Steve Austin!   Last October, Greg sat down with Steve at 317 Gimmick Street to record a couple episodes of "The Steve Austin Show." The "Wrestle Days" documentary crew was following Greg that morning to capture the unique friendship between "The Handicapped Hero" and "The Texas Rattlesnake." While a lot of great banter made it to the "Wrestle Days" doc (available on YouTube), there was a lot of footage left on the cutting room floor. On this episode, you'll hear an exclusive conversation between Iron and Austin -- with content you've never heard from "The Bionic Redneck.".   Steve chats with Greg about his 1997 neck injury and the inevitable surgery that he had in the winter of 1999. Austin tells us how he convinced doctors to clear him to get back in the ring in 1997, when he knew he couldn't put off his neck surgery any longer, what he did during his time off in 1999, how he told Vince he wasn't coming back in 2000, his near death experience while blowing up the DX Express, his final run with The Rock in 2003, the emotional experience of having One More Round at WrestleMania XIX, and more.   Before the interview, Greg and co-host Aaron Bauer discuss their first, best and worst pro wrestler interactions. Aaron tells a story about answering the challenge of former WWF Champion Iron Sheik, Greg tells us what ECW wrestler stole $10 from him, and Aaron and Greg discuss "Stone Cold" impersonator "Even Colder" Mike Austin.   - - - Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. Host Gregory Iron sits down with EVOLVE Wrestling star and independent wrestling standout "The Lone Star" Curt Stallion. In only six years, Stallion has quickly carved out a name for himself as one of the top stars on the independent scene based on his untouchable work ethic and unwillingness to quit. Curt could've easily settled for a life like most that live in his small town in Texas have: a lucrative job in an oil field, a nice house, and marriage to his high school sweetheart. Instead he traded the certainty life for the uncertain journey of a pro wrestler, sometimes driving over 50 hours straight on no sleep just to achieve his dream. Curt talks with Greg about growing up in a broken home, being bullied as a kid, his longest roadtrip, training with ACH and Michael Elgin, not following the blueprint that life gave him, smoking marijuana with a former WWF Heavyweight Champion, staying in a lake house with Hulk Hogan, training in the NJPW dojo, his distain for 30-miler wrestlers, his love of Randy Orton and so much more! Before the interview, Greg and co-host Aaron Bauer read the obituary of Howard "Animal Steele" and share some weird locker room related drug and alcohol related stories featuring the likes of Sabu, Balls Mahoney and a TGIF sitcom star! - - - Gregory Iron wrestles with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects the mobility of his right arm, hand and fingers. On the eve of his 32nd birthday, Johnny chats with Greg about his formative years on the independent wrestling circuit, while Candice LeRae bakes in the background.
