    • Anna’s mom died after 15 years of struggling. It inspired Dr. Anna to be an advocate for women’s health.
    • Anna was diagnosed with infertility and early menopause.
    • It took her on a journey to discover what was going on. As a result, she reversed the early menopause and infertility at the age of 41.
    • Anna discovered detoxing. Our liver metabolizes our hormones. The hormone disrupters act as drugs; stress will disrupt our hormones.
    • Nobody talks about reversing their diagnosis. The turning point for Dr. Anna recognized that her lifestyle could be the reason for her diagnosis.

    • After losing eighty pounds, Dr. Anna started gaining weight. She went keto immediately but felt terrible.
    • Our urine pH can give signs of how we are doing.
    • Anna’s urine pH was really acidic. It’s not just about what we eat; it’s about who we are eating with. It will show up in our urine. Cortisol can take us down.
    • Lifestyle tweaks will help us with weight loss, moodiness, and sleeplessness.
    • As women transition into menopause, they rely on their estrogen. Dr. Anna said she was going keto crazy because our brain uses glucose for fuel. In order for our brains to do that, we need estrogen. If we don’t have estrogen, then our minds will not function properly. We can use ketones for fuel because it is not estrogen-dependent.

    • Intermittent fasting and no more snacking. We will empower one of our three major hormones, insulin. We are naturally more insulin resistant as we age. It creates an increased risk of diabetes and heart disease.
    • We have to become insulin sensitive.
    • Integrate the concept of alkalization.
    • Choose to focus on gratitude and a positive mindset.

    • You can get pH paper from your drugstore.
    • Beet greens are the best alkaline foods.
    • Bitter greens can help with detoxification and liver support.
    • Eat your collards without sugar.

    • When cortisol goes up, oxytocin goes down.
    • When cortisol is up for a long time, it shuts down oxytocin.
    • Our burnout can feel like a disconnect.
    • There is a physiology to divorce and grief that has to do with our hormones.
    • When we are stressed, we aren’t going to feel loved.
    • Does this action come from love or fear?
