Cara Santana stops by Catt's virtual bedroom this week, and the Vida star opens up about weathering a painful breakup with her fiancé, actor Jesse Metcalfe— in the midst of a pandemic no-less! Cara also shares how a childhood preoccupation with make-believe transformed into a career in the arts; what it was like to grow up in the border town of El Paso, Texas; and how coming to sobriety at an early age has taught her patience and compassion. From her career as an actress and entrepreneur, to her fashion blog, Cara has used her public platform to advocate for women's issues, immigrants' rights, and so much more. And in this episode, Catt shares her concerns about the world slowly re-opening - but also, her excitement, like the opportunity to someday travel with her girlfriends again.  In addition, why you should get tested for the coronavirus if you can, and... the undying brilliance of 1992 Geena Davis flick, A League of Their Own.

We are back in Catt's bedroom this week, and this time, she's joined by Lauren Paul and Molly Thompson - founders of the nonprofit Kind Campaign that aims to end girl-on-girl bullying in our schools. The two real-life best friends share a behind-the-scenes look at how they bonded over being bullied as young girls and why they decided to channel that pain into something productive. After meeting in college, Lauren and Molly joined forces and decided to travel the country to make a documentary on the "mean girl" phenomenon, and what we can do to foster forces of kindness instead. The film grew into an international movement, and the women now work with schools across the globe through in-person assemblies (when those were allowed) and educational curriculum, to help promote inclusivity, love and acceptance among girls and teens. Lauren also shares a peek at what it's like to be married to actor Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad, BoJack Horseman) and how his support has made it possible for Kind Campaign to climb to new heights. And in this episode, Catt shares a story about experiencing harassment by fellow females during her freshman year of high school - and who stepped in to stand up for her.  *A note, this was taped months before the Coronavirus hit, so the interview was done in-person in Catt's home

This week's episode is a bit of a departure from our standard interview. In this episode - recorded remotely - therapist Sheva Rajaee joins Catt in her virtual bedroom to have an honest, constructive conversation about mental health. Focusing on the overwhelming conditions of this COVID-19 lockdown, Sheva shares helpful insight on working through anxiety, how to better cope with increased stress, and why we all need to be just a little bit more forgiving of ourselves.  We also learn how Sheva's own OCD diagnosis led her to start the Center for OCD and Anxiety, why she made a dramatic career shift from marketing and advertising, to psychotherapy, and what healing powers lie within our pets. Sheva also answers some listener questions like, "How do I help my spouse to understand what it is like to have anxiety?" and "What can families with younger children do to cope during this time?". Also in this episode, Catt shares why creating a schedule -- and sticking to it -- has helped manage her stress and anxiety during these trying times. And, she opens up about her hopes for change following the pandemic.

Say what?! This is not an informational episode but instead a let-it-all-hang-out share under the sheets while Catt is, naturally, drinking wine. If you kinda feel like you're losing your mind right now, these two will make you feel a little less alone in your current state of WTF.  And make sure to stay tuned. Named one of Hollywood's Top 10 Power Stylists of the decade, Karla Welch showed up to Catt's bedroom looking enviably cozy chic. Down-to-earth and passionate, Karla is the woman behind some of your favorite celebrity looks - from Olivia Wilde to Busy Philipps and Justin Bieber - she has dressed them all. But being a revered stylist is a lot more than putting together an outfit; Karla's distinct approach involves creating looks for each celebrity that represent the best version of themselves. From designing 'fits for Justin Bieber's tour, to the logistical chaos that takes place behind-the-scenes while prepping for the Oscars, Karla spills all. She also opens up about her personal life - like how she first met her husband while she was working as a server at a restaurant in Canada, and how she credits her parents for her rigorous work ethic. Karla also shares how she's been using her power to advocate for causes she believes in -- like through her collaboration with Levi's that raised money for gun control and her spicy IG posts.  Also in this episode, Catt reminisces about what it was like to work with a stylist (for the first time ever!) when she landed at E!, after years of styling herself on local broadcast TV. Karla and Catt also swap stories about the one and only... Oprah!

We are back in Catt's bedroom with acupuncturist extraordinaire Andrea Thorpe of Sage Wellness Within.  This is Part Two of our deep-dive into Chinese medicine and acupuncture, so if you missed Part One, head on back to learn a bit about Andrea's background, the history of acupuncture, and what landed Catt in Andrea's office last year.  In this episode, we go DEEP into understanding how our bodies work -- and what you can do to start addressing your own imbalances. Using the questions many of you submitted, Catt asks Andrea about the healing (and destructive) powers of the food we eat, how our hormones work, treatment for fibroids, the ebb and flow of our sex drives, and so much more. Also, Andrea shares some simple advice you can start implementing today! Like, consider swapping kombucha with fermented vegetable juice -- it has all the gut-healing powers without all the sugar! And, Catt shares an update on her own health journey, as she combines diet, herbs and acupuncture to restore physiological balance.

Taking a break from her bustling acupuncture practice at Sage Wellness Within, Andrea Thorpe stopped by Catt's bedroom to give us a primer on acupuncture, herbal medicine and listening to our bodies. Andrea shares how she was first exposed to acupuncture as a patient -- when she sought treatment as an undergrad in college because she felt both "tired and wired" all at the same time. This turned out to be a transformative experience, as it not only made her feel exponentially better, but spurred Andrea to trade in a linguistics career for one in acupuncture. She also discusses the historical and spiritual origins of Chinese medicine; how she specializes in treating female patients in ways to improve overall health, hormone regulation, and fertility; and what her initial evaluation of Catt's own physical state was when she sought help from Andrea a few months ago. In our very first LIVE TAPING of the show, Jacey and Catt get NAKED in a very public forum. Speaking at the brand new Pvolve fitness studios in NYC, the two real-life besties put it all out there in this very candid conversation about their careers, motherhood and maintaining a decades-long friendship. After slipping off her Prada combat boots, Trace Lysette settled into Catt's cozy leather chairs and spoke candidly about her life, her career and her future. While you may know her from Transparent or her recent role alongside J.Lo and Constance Wu in Hustlers, Trace shares a glimpse of what her life has been like off-screen. From being bullied as a teen in Ohio when she started to show signs of femininity, to becoming an openly transgender woman in Hollywood, Trace talks about feeling the need to constantly look over her shoulder. She also shares how she's coping with a painful breakup, why a showgirl in Dayton, OH changed her life, and how she's tired of being a "lone soldier." Also in this episode, Catt and Trace talk about equal pay, and Catt pledges to advocate for trans women in her future discussions on the issue. *** If you want to support the show, and keep this conversation going outside of our weekly episodes, you can find us on Patreon. We may be back in Catt's bedroom, but this episode is a dramatic departure from the usual format! In this week's conversation, Catt sits down with our first MALE guest, Karamo Brown. Also in this episode, Catt gets extremely vulnerable, disclosing a never-before-shared fact about her family.
