What is ‘Post Pain Gratitude’? Are there benefits to gratitude beyond coping with the present moment and experiencing its’ immediate benefits? Last week I discovered something powerful about gratitude that I did not know before and I am excited to share it with you in this week’s segment of Attitude of Gratitude.

If you remember in last week’s episode (https://hopetorecharge.com/episode/practicing-gratitude-during-pain-attitude-of-gratitude/) we talked about a difficult time my family and I were walking through as my youngest was transitioning into school. We talked about the benefits of practicing gratitude during painful moments and how it can bring a new perspective to even the most difficult of times.

However, something happened afterward that I did not expect. After walking through the experience and when we could finally see light at the end of the tunnel, I notice that my gratitude was not only still there, but it had drastically INCREASED. It was like there was a new voltage to my present moment and I was hyper-aware of the goodness around me.

My positive energy came back, giving me the ability to truly see and gain clarity. It was through this that I realized the importance of working through pain WITH gratitude. It not only helps you through the darkness but it shines a light on your days to come making you hypersensitive to the GOOD.

We would LOVE to hear from you. Have you experienced post-pain gratitude? Find us on Facebook in our private Facebook Community, Hope to Recharge, because as always, together is better.
