Last night, when hundreds of men, women, and children arrived to the United States, they were ordered away. They had the proper documentation, but they were told that US Customs and Border Patrol had issued the order to not let them in.

So, yesterday, in a very dangerous vote, North Carolina state legislators passed House Bill 370 which would force sheriffs to cooperate with ICE. Five years later, it’s outrageous that this case is still being investigated.  It’s simple. And the people who could actually do something about it lack the political courage  and will to do so.
