So many people don't understand why they aren't where they want to be. Yet others all around them are moving forward, getting pay raises, new opportunity, receiving recognition etc. It's not until we realize how little we actually know are we able to position ourselves for growth. In this episode Chris breaks down the Dunning–Kruger effect, a cognitive bias in psychology which proves people assess their cognitive ability as being far greater than it is. The process of proper goal setting is a surprisingly complex psychological tool, that when utilized correctly will help you accomplish anything you seek out to do. Anything. Every success minded individual knows exactly what it is there after and sets goals strategically that help them get there. Using the Holiday Season as an excuse to justify complacency is disrespectful to the magic and power this time of year brings.  With December here there's good vibes brought on by gratitude, love, generosity, friends, family, gift giving and holiday parties. Unfortunately, hidden in plain sight amongst all of these great things also lies complacency, the killer of all things success. Complacency over the holiday season is tough to identify because we're distracted by holiday festivities and most of those around us are deviating off the path or lowering their own standards as well. But with the holiday season spanning over the course of 2 months, it can be crippling to enter a new year having ended the year with a loss.  The holiday season is not an excuse to stop working on achieving our goals. In fact, to really experience the magic of the holiday season, it should be the opposite; an excuse to step it up! In episode 34, Chris focuses in on how the holidays can breed complacency. He provides some valuable perspective and challenges us to use the holiday season as an opportunity to go harder to put an exclamation point on 2019 and begin the New Year with some steam!

Every year we all set new goals. While most will state their intentions to accomplish more and do better, very few actually follow through by honoring the commitments they've made with themselves. For one reason (excuse) or another society has become all to comfortable not keeping their word as it relates to the follow through of one's goals, which has resulted in a wide spreading epidemic of mediocrity, frustration, anxiety and depression. Self respect begins with honoring the commitments we make with ourselves and following through with what we say we are going to do, regardless of what may stand in our path. We MUST stop making excuses, stop letting ourselves off the hook when we fall short and stop justifying quitting just because so many people around us do! We MUST develop the mentality of a wolf and stay clear of the sheep. Tune in as Chris drills down on the significance of keeping your word, following through with commitments you make to yourself and recognizing when you've fallen off track!

Like it or not, you are judged every day by how you look, dress and carry yourself. Everyone who wants to crush it in life needs to put personal feelings aside and understand the relationship between our personal, physical appearance, and how it directly impacts success.  The way we look plays a significant role in our confidence, self esteem and self image, which influences the way we present ourselves to the outside world. It’s also the way we speak to the world about where our priorities lay without uttering a single word. Here’s the truth, we all make judgments about each other based on our personal appearance, so it is important to think about what kind of image we want to project to the world.  Looking the part of success and maintaining a clean, healthy, neat appearance is one of the first steps towards feeling, and becoming successful. It’s also a very easy thing to do that produces an immediate impact! In episode 28, Chris discusses the importance of prioritizing our appearance and how it not only shapes the way others view us, but more importantly, how we view ourselves!

What separates the people who are consistently achieving their goals, moving forward and getting results from those who don’t, is their commitment to the process, NOT the end result. While the end result is important, success is NOT some kind of “event” with a finish line, expiration date or ceiling - and it’s not something that can just be achieved or completed one day. It’s easy to get motivated or pumped up when thinking about the actual goal or outcome you’re after! The same can’t be said about the daily practices and discipline that needs to be in play, firing at optimal levels to ultimately experience the result you’re after. In this short insightful episode, Chris shares with you some powerful mind hacks that he used to reprogram his brain to learn to love all the daily rituals that he used to hate, that allowed him to go from being a depressed insecure drug dealer with no purpose or future; To a multi time Forbes featured entrepreneur, thought leader in the personal development space and millionaire! They helped him experience life changing results and they’ll do the same for you as well!

Research has shown that of the up to 60,000 thoughts human beings have every day, 80% of them are negative and 95% are repetitive - meaning are the exact same as the day, weeks or years before! It’s not possible to have a positive life if 80% of what goes on in your head every day is negative. The importance of, truth about and what exactly a mentor is, or more importantly is not, is something that is extremely misunderstood in today’s society. If someone told you there was something out there that if you did it, you would be happier, healthier, mentally stronger, wiser, smarter, more efficient and increase your earning potential, would you want to do it!? Of course you would. Well, it’s out there - and that “thing” is personal development.  Personal development is an often used,  rarely explained term that is widely misunderstood and taken for granted. It is without question the MOST IMPORTANT WORK OF YOUR LIFE and could be more accurately described as a gift from the Gods that when used properly, helps you evolve into something so much more than what you are now. When utilized as it is intended, it allows ordinary people to develop superhuman abilities, levels of consciousness and skills.  The issue is most simply do not do it consistently enough to experience the extraordinary power it possesses, or don’t understand how powerful it is which prevents them from reaping its true benefits.  In episode 18, Chris breaks down the impact personal development makes on the 6 key areas needed to achieve mastery in life. He discusses why personal development is essential/mandatory for growth, the impact it’s made on his life, how most people who think they’re doing it actually are not, how to prioritize your personal development to GUARANTEE your success and how without it, it’s impossible to go any further than where you are currently are in life.

80% of Americans report that they hate their job and feel it’s negatively impacting every area of their life- and they’re not wrong. Have you ever wondered what separates people who love what they do & are absolutely killing it from those who despise their job & struggle? It’s not skill, experience, luck, education or socioeconomic status... It’s passion. Passion is what gives human beings purpose & is ultimately the defining factor between those who succeed & those who don’t. Society has led you to believe that in order to be truly happy you need to do what you love; so people go from job to job their entire lives searching for the perfect opportunity that they’ve convinced themselves will all the sudden ignite a flame in their soul & grant them the come up in happiness they desperately seek. Unfortunately, this belief system is subjective, fundamentally flawed and completely inaccurate. Winners win not because they do what they love, but because they learn to love what they do. In episode 15 Chris discusses how ANYONE can train themselves to become passionate about ANYTHING & the profound positive impact it will have on your life personally & professionally.

Most believe their inability to save money and invest toward their future is a reflection of their current income; but the reality is that it’s actually a reflection of pre-existing associations toward money that most are not consciously aware of, a lack of discipline toward finances and operating without a strict budget in place. These factors are the primary reasons 80% of Americans currently live paycheck to paycheck, regardless of how much they make! 75% of people operate without a budget regardless of income and struggle to ever gain traction in this area. Would Bill Belichick lead the Patriots in the SuperBowl without a meticulously organized game plan in place? Of course not! The consequences would be disastrous!
