Season 3 Episode 3 – Recognizing the signs

Introduction to Episode: During season three, we tackle yet another tough topic. We discuss suicide and all of the many ways to tell if one is suicidal. We give you tips on recognizing the signs of suicide before it progress to the state of completion. We leave with a charge to either get help and seek help for those who are suffering from the suicidal illness.


Co-Host: Barbara Roberts has been in Pastoral Care Ministry for many years. She is the Director of Caring Ministry at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church and is the author of two books. Her first book, “Helping Those Who Hurt” is a Handbook for caring and crisis situations. Her recently published book, “With Her Last Breath: A Tale of Suicide and the Hope of Heaven” is based on the 26 page handwritten journal her niece, Kathy, left upon taking her life. The book incorporates each journal page with a chapter of caring helps for people dealing with issues of despair and suicide.
