Hong Kong is in the midst of a crisis that will determine the very future of Democracy in their country. A controversial extradition treaty has been proposed in the Hong Kong legislature which, if passed, will make the scary possibility of China extraditing political dissidents out of Hong Kong a reality. Needless to say, the citizens of Hong Kong are fighting tooth and nail to protect their sovereignty and independence.

Julia Salazar, a New York elected official, spoke to a rally of "Democratic Socialists" to talk about how difficult her life was growing up... only problem, her ethics disclosure revealed her massive trust fund! It looks like it's Socialism for thee, but not for me!
