Join us for an adventure that's part dinner party and all improvised role-play! Each episode six friends combine forces to weave a tale of fantasy, food, and fun in a home-brewed D&D campaign. There's powerful spells, magic horses, other realms, and enough excitement and laughs for everyone to get seconds.
We're back! The Team returns right where they left off - face to face with nemesis Yanathan. While Fletch may no longer be cursed, new problems quickly come to fore as the evil Fey Elf puts his revenge plans in motion. Margarine has nowhere to hide. Flak doesn't have time to get lost. Zabbas will be with you in a minute. Juno goes for a swing.
In the final part of our one shot adventure, new heroes Alodar, Arden, Barnaby, Lilo, and Müpagroop draw ever nearer their certificates of participation from Durango Steeleye's Excitement and Team-Building Excursion Park. Will Alodar find love? Will Barnaby find a third boring beverage, perhaps skim milk, to enjoy? Will Müpagroop add some more beautiful eyes, forever staring, to her magic staff? Will Lilo's coworkers ever accept her for who she is and not see her as "Lilo, you know, from accounts payable?" I mean, sure, she could maybe make more of an effort in the break room, but these people aren't really her friends, you know? They're just people she has to spend time with while she does her job. It's just random chance they share a coffee machine and calculation toad. Calculation toads are rare after all. Maybe she will reconnect with something out here. She loved numbers once. Maybe she can love them again. Maybe. Maybe she should finally quit. Maybe she should have moved to the city with Gregori all those years ago. Maybe things would be different.
Will Arden ever get a bathroom break?
Hi Everyone! Hope you're all safe and healthy wherever you are self isolating. Here's something a little different for your enjoyment in these strange times. We had some rust on the ol' spurs that definitely needed to get knocked off, so we played a goofy one-shot with new characters that we threw together over the weekend. We'll be back with regular episodes in two weeks, but until then we hope you have as much fun with this corporate retreat as we did. Do what's fun!
The Team finally reaches the Child Island where a friendly sentry reads their auras. Fletch gets one step closer to reversing the curse. Margarine has magic in her pockets. Flak has a little light inside. For the Table, Graessle cooks up some pan roasted duck legs with a homemade teriyaki glaze.
Ryleth and Abolor arrive in Oyakodo to negotiate a deal for the Ohmbra Coast Trading Company. While investigating rumors about the island, Ryleth sees ghosts from his past.
I'm very excited to share with you chapter two of my experimental villain story. As I said before, this is not necessary to enjoy the main quest if you don't want to deviate from the goofier D&D game style of storytelling, but I do hope you'll give this a listen (and listen to chapter 1 first!) Thanks so much for listening!
Strange things are afoot at the Five Docks noodle stand... Margarine and Fletch continue to feel conflicted feelings between old friends and new cooks. Zabbas and Juno join the fire brigade. Flak takes the lead.
Margarine and Fletch start seeing double after some bad street food, leaving Juno and Zabbas to clean up the mess. Meanwhile, Flak learns more about the Oyakodan Tabaxi culture from his new Tortlehunter pals. At the table, Graessle serves miso glazed salmon with ginger rice and sesame steamed vegetables.
The Team's long voyage to Oyakodo is nearly complete, though not without its losses. Juno and Margarine mourn Tim while Fletch's curse effects his otherwise sunny demeanor. Flak must face the consequences of his actions... kind of.
The thrilling conclusion to this seafaring misadventure finally arrives! It's our last episode of 2019 and it's packed with action, magic, and drama! Plus some funny goofs just for you. Fletch calls the Storm, Juno attempts to be a ship's doctor, and Zabbas pitches high.
Flak continues to improvise his way into new and authoritative positions, this time bringing Fletch into the bit with mixed results. Margarine reveals an ability... to mixed results. Overall, things go about as well as you'd expect for the Team on a boat.
Ryleth Oerton sails to the coastal city of Ohmbra D'nah, where the Ohmba Coast Trading Company is headquartered. Still stinging from an embarrassing experience in Night's Pass, Ryleth must now face his mysterious employers in person.
I hope you all enjoy this experimental bonus episode!

The season 2 finale begins with Juno and Margarine in a basement and Fletch, Flak, and Zabbas in a closet. The cast is back together to record, but is the Team back together in the adventure? Juno's beat up. Fletch is Rupert. Flak is boy.
In the first of our special Split Party episodes, Margarine and Juno are deputized by Constable Stokeworth to work on a blackmail case. Juno hopes this brings them closer to solving the mystery of Plyntharyn's Journals and the quest for Hank Urthadar.
Life obligations finally got the better of our recording schedule, but instead of skipping a week unannounced, Graessle, Joel, and James sat down to talk about the party split and how it'll impact the next few episodes.
With the Team still at all ends of the Guild Hall, Margarine gets some confounding new information while Juno chooses a strange moment to try to prove he's a changed man. Zabbas makes a new acquaintance, and Fletch and Flak cross paths with an old one.
After a quick step back in time to fill in some story gaps, we're back to the Team's quest to figure out the Guild Hall clue. After a "side quest" resulted in buying the former Brevrisk mansion, Zabbas takes a fall, Juno makes a cool new friend, and Flak opens new doors.

It's the season 2 premiere! It's been a long time since the team started this journey, and everyone's grown a lot - including Graessle, who made much, much better pizzas for dinner. Juno gets a little greedy, Zabbas changes his hair, Margarine gets the eye of the tiger, Flak rocks out, and Fletch has your local forecast coming right up after sports.
