Love this podcast!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and recently started listening to Latinx podcasts. I use a lot of the information obtained from the podcasts in my sessions with a diverse group of clients. I love the speakers! Keep up the good work.
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. The host and guest speakers are great. Very interesting topics that I could relate to. It’s refreshing to listen to Latinx professionals share their knowledge on mental health. I heard all of the episodes available and I can’t wait for more!
Thank you for educating our community!
Honestly thank you for creating this podcast. This is helpful in me taking steps to go to counseling. It feels like home to have this podcast, even though therapy is unfamiliar and scary to me.
Excellence source for Latinx generation
I love it. Very interesting conversations. Very professional host and guest. As a Latina I feel so helpful to listen to this podcast. Latino’s have very similar backgrounds. This is a tool to listen, relax, learn, forgive, be open minded and apply everything you learned from it to your own personal life and become a better person.
Please keep providing us help!!!
Sending love and blessings to you!!!!😘
Wow! You’re amazing!
This is a great podcast! I’m much older than you but your story about bing a teen mom is a true inspiration. I definitely related a whole lot and I’m sure many other women would too.
I was searching for a podcast that referred to the the Latino culture. I’m a Guatemalan mother of 4, and I know I need help will benefit from listening to your podcast.
Thanks for the work you’re putting into helping families overcome the stigma of receiving mental health support.
I recommend this podcast to my clients and the families of my clients because Adriana and her guest do such an amazing job at destigmatizing mental illness. The topics shared are issues related to our cultura and every time I listen to an episode I feel validated and normal. Thank you! Keep them coming!
Thank you Lantinx

This podcast has been an eye opener for me. I had been able to find therapist, learn new vocabulary in Spanish about mental health but most importantly it has help me explain to my mother what are some of the issues I am battling with! A must listen!!! Highly recommend
This podcast is what our community has been needing!
I am a therapist myself and was turned to this podcast by my Latinx clients. This has been empowering for them and exciting for me every time a new one comes out. It’s liberating and revolutionary. Highly recommend.
Invaluable Resource 🙌🏻
The Spanish version of this podcast is an invaluable resource for both Latinx families and social service professionals. This podcast provides psycho-education to Spanish speaking clients in a concise, yet meaningful way. As a Mexican American woman, summing up her 1st year of a 2-year MSW program I have found that this podcast has informed my practice through aiding communication of clinical lingo to my Spanish speaking clients. I can not stress the importance of the messages found with in your podcast Adriana! Muchisimas Gracias!
It’s about time we have a podcast like this!!!
Thank you to Adrianna the host for dedicating her life’s work to de-stigmatizing mental health in our community. This is helping so many people!
Great! Great! Episode.
Such an amazing and educational podcast! Definitely an eye opener if you’re not familiar with the undocumented population. Thanks for having this.
I can finally hear about issues that I go through and learn how to navigate it. My favorite podcast by far and such an inspirational podcast!
Best MH Podcast out there for Latinx
I am a current Master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Dominican-American. I have always been interested in mental health and in recent years knew that this is the profession that is right for me. Listening to this podcast is so educational and really helps to reaffirm that I made the right decision with my career path. It also has the double added positive layer of being Latinx focused. It really helps me to realize things about my own identity growing up Latinx, but also what it will be like going back into our communities and working through the negative stigmas of mental health most of us grew up with. I recommend this podcast to everyone in the Latinx community, but especially to those that work in the mental health field and are not Latinx, because this will really help give you more information and more of a perspective of how to better serve your Latinx clients. Highly recommended!
Thankful for the knowledge
This podcast is incredible! I have pretty much heard every episode in a span of 2 days. It's great to see how much awareness you are promoting to Mental health in the Latinx community. Can't wait for future episodes
Very educational and uplifting podcast
So glad this podcast exists to promote mental health advocacy for our Latinx community!
I have used this podcast to open up conversations on the importance of mental health with my Latinx family while commuting in my car.
I love how each podcast is translated in Spanish. The effort is much appreciated.
I am grateful for this podcast!
I enjoy this podcast so much!!!!!
I am very appreciative for your podcast and thank you for gifting your story to me and your listeners. Your strength and perseverance is highly admirable and I am very encouraged by your story.
I am currently attending Pepperdine on road to become an LMFT so I have been hooked on your podcast. So, thank you!
The relevancy is heartwarming. I can tell ha the host takes her time with the content as pours her heart. I highly recommend it for anyone who is latinx or of color!
My Teen Pregnancy Story Part 1
I’ve been listening to this podcast from the start and I can relate to most of the episodes. It’s an amazing podcast. This specific episode really hit home with me. I myself was a teenage mother who went through similar issues. My children are now teens and I really needed to hear this to remind myself of the fact that I’m not the only one going through this. I just feel a sense of community every time I listen to the podcast. Keep doing amazing work!
I found this podcasts on IG. I was so excited to find a page and a podcast dedicated to mental health specifically for the Latinx community. I am on podcast #3 and so far it has been so interesting. I am a Latina myself. I am currently working on my bachelors degree in Human Services with the goal of working directly with the Latinx community. In class, when we talk about issues; we don’t talk specifically about the Latinx community which is expected especially because my university is a PWI (primarily white institute) Latinxtherapy is that extra resource I can use to learn about the issues I know about but exactly how it affects the community. I want to add that the author/owner of the podcast is amazing. I watched her live on IG today and I just felt reassured and happy to be in the field I am. Although I currently don’t plan on going to graduate school to obtain my masters; I might down the line because we need more Latinx representation in mental health. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DO THESE PODCASTS!
Bipolar disorder episode
I’m new to the podcast world and had a friend recommend Latinx Therapy. Let me tell you, I am so grateful for his recommendation and for this episode. The info on Bipolar was on point as to how I have experienced seeing and living with a close friend of mine with this illness. It’s been hard to watch him go through the ups/downs of this illness, but glad he is getting help. Thank you Latinx therapy for educating us about such an important topic - signed a new listener.
This podcast is everything! You must listen to it. I’m telling you. Subscribe!
Just what we needed!
I was excited when I heard about the podcast launching. As a new Latinx therapist, I was looking forward to hearing a podcast that talks about mental health through the Latinx lens and it didn’t disappoint! It not only brings in mental health professionals to talk about mental health topics but also other Latinx influencers to talk about heir personal mental health experiences. Adriana does a great job in talking about topics that pertain and are of interest to the Latinx community and are bilingual!! I look forward to see how the podcast continues to develop, I’ll be here to listen!
I appreciate the cultural relevancy weaved throughout the podcast. In order to improve the podcast, I need to point out that the Bipolar episode is grossly misinformed. The length of time in hypomania and mania are so varying and not confined to 4-7 days. Bipolar 2 hypomania can last months. I share this because both disorders are misunderstood.
Love listening in Spanish!
I am a young Latino in California who has recently graduated college and this podcast feels really relevant to me. It’s been great getting to listen to other people in the community talk about mental health and I love that it’s also in Spanish.
These conversations are so needed. Especially centered within the Latinx culture lens. Thank you for creating the space for these conversations.
Hi, Im a mental health therapist and I learned about the podcast through my colleague and I shared with my group supervisor. We listened to the chancla episode and wish that it could be Spanish. So many of our client’s parents can benefit from listening to it. I have tried to discuss it but it is not the same. Hoping that it can be offered in Spanish!!!!!
I really enjoy this podcast and I haven’t seen or heard another one like this! Please do one on Latinx suicide awareness/prevention.
I absolutely love this podcast! I’m Latina and I work in mental health. It’s so refreshing to hear someone talking about uniquely Latinx issues when it comes to mental health. We need more of this!
Love this podcast 💗
I’m a Latina who has been suffering from anxiety and depression for some time. I love that this podcast acknowledges my culture and the dynamics of mental health within familia. Definitely opens up a door to talk openly about this with my Mom who speaks Spanish. I would encourage people to seek professional one on one help. You’re worth it!
I’m an bilingual LPCA trained in the US. One of my challenges is how to efficiently translate disorders and interventions for my Latinx clients. This podcast can help!
Gracias por este podcast!
I love this podcast, I appreciate how informative and relatable it is since they are focusing on our culture. I LOVE the Spanish episodes I send them to my mom and tías right away 💖
I’m so happy for this podcast. The stories, the educational aspect and the narratives of POC. It’s great to listen to stories I can relate to and connect with. Thank you for creating. Stay shining! 💚✨
I am a BSW and always eager to learn & connect with other professional in the field. I came across this hidden gem & I am so glad that this podcast talks about real issues that Latinx face. I can’t wait to hear more!
I am so happy this exists!!! Finally, we are confronting the issues that occur as a result of growing up in a bicultural community.
Great podcast. Knowledge is power!
Absolutely enjoy this podcast. As a clinical therapist myself, I appreciate that you created a podcast that reaches the Latinx community in order to educate regarding the value of mental health and resources that are accessible to all. I will definitely recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to get informed. Knowledge is power and provides hope!
Let’s Talk Mental Health
I came across this Podcast while scrolling through Facebook one day and I’m so glad I did. The last few months I’ve experienced so many changes in my life, from getting married, to leaving my parent’s house for the first time in my twenty-six years of life, to managing a home with my husband- still feels so weird saying!
With that said, as a first generation Mexican, mental health was never discussed while growing up. Other than the word depression being mentioned here and there, we never spoke about mental health. It wasn’t until I started my career in social work that I discovered how important it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which includes taking care of your mental health. So I started therapy six months ago, and it has made a difference in my life and the way I now view things. The few episodes that I have listened to have been very informative to me in helping me better understand therapy and it’s components. I plan on sharing this podcast with my family (great to see episodes in Spanish), to help them dive into a deeper understanding of how valuable our mental health is and how it really can make a difference in our lives!
Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for all of the information you share in your podcast. As a future health care social worker, a LatinX one at that, I find your podcast to be so informative. From the very first one to your latest one on anxiety. I can relate to so many points in your podcast. I believe that it takes more individuals like you and like the person I want to become to help not only the Latinx community but our society as a whole. Thank you again.
A serendipitous resource!
I’ve recently have started to go to therapy and found out about this podcast through Mitú. While all the topics have resonated with me, the anxiety episode really hits home for me since that’s currently what I’m working on in my sessions. I’m greatly looking forward to future episodes! ☺️
Saber es poder!!
Mexicana con Anxiedad
It has been wonderful to find you. Currently, I am experiencing anxiety. I had reach for help but while I wait (there is a lack of Spanish speaker therapist-it’s my native language) to start therapy- you have been amazing. I had put in practice the suggestions I have heard. My favorite podcasts had been anxiety 101 in Spanish and La Vergueza- being a first generation mexicana in college and dealing with anxiety it has great to hear professionals talk about what I am experiencing. I would hope to win the gift away so I can bring more awareness about
mental health and look cute.
As a bilingual, non-Latinx therapist, I feel this podcast is so helpful for increasing cultural competence among therapists like me, and provides such excellent, accessible information for all people, too!
The podcast I didn’t know I needed. 🌙
The beautiful thing about this podcast is that it’s done with a fun, and lighthearted tone. It makes thinking and learning about these things easy, and relatable. Thank you for making my drive to work an entertaining and educational one. I can’t wait to hear more.
Been looking forward to this.
Excited to listen in. But why is your voice soothing?
Edit: So I’ve caught up and let me say, WOW! Every episode is engaging and relatable. A definite must listen in. Hope to hear more!
Chancla violence isn’t cute
elva de tejas
I loved the episode about the chancla and how it goes too far. Sometimes we see things growing up and we don’t know how to process it. I just loved the episode, it’s everything I was thinking got put into words. I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels this way.
I’ve just discovered your podcast and I couldn’t have found it at a better time. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Anxiety/panic disorder and I’ve lived with it my whole but recently have reached out for help. The whole bad stigma in my Mexican culture has always stopped me from getting help. Thank you for your wonderful podcast. It’s so comforting to know that there is help and someone understands.
I’m so happy de que finally there’s a Podcast that is culturally competent with the Latin community ✊🏾.
Me encanta! So informative, fresh, and important to break the stigma of mental health in the Latinx comunidad. Shoutout to Zea Lopez on La Vergüenza, loved it!
Loved this topic. The conversation flowed super easy!! Zea is so informed and really cares about the community and it’s people.
Where do I begin! I can go on and on and on as to why I love this podcast! It is so relevant and needed and the quality of the content and guest is spot on! Great job and keep up the good work 👍🏼
Accurate and engaging content
I really appreciate the host discussions around the stigma of receiving mental health services and provides much needed information on how to values ones mental wellbeing.
