Gabe Morency and Joe Raineri open up Tuesday's show recapping all the news from the sporting world from last night, including the drama surrounding the Suns and Utah Jazz. Phoenix guard Devin Booker was still in late in the game even though the Suns were down 30, with his teammates blatantly trying get him the ball to score 60 points. The Jazz didn't appreciate the Suns gesture and started intentionally fouling other players to keep Booker from scoring. Joe and Gabe both agree that it was ridiculous that Phoenix cared that much about a player scoring 60 while they are losing the gam by thirty points. Mets ace Jacob deGrom looks like his is staying put in New York after reports come out that the Cy Young winner has been given a extension, totaling 137.5 million over 5 years. Gabe and Joe agree that this is a good move for the Mets, saying that the new wave in baseball is to keep your best players, rather than paying others in Free Agency. Outspoken UFC fighter Conor McGregor announced on social media that he is retiring from MMA and will continue to work on his whiskey brand Proper 12\. Gabe doesn't believe for a minute that the double champ is actually retiring and will fight again by the end of the calendar year.
