Gabe and Joe continue talking about Johnny Football into the second hour, questioning why his CFL team released him out of nowhere. They discuss a conspiracy that one of the teams in the XFL or AAF paid his Canadian Football League team off so they could sign him in the future. Gabe says that he just isn't a good Quarterback and no mater where he goes he won't do well. In today's segment of Get Off My Lawn: Gabe Morency goes after Islander fans who are mad that former Islander John Tavares left to go to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Tavares will be making his return the New York and is expected to be met with boos, when Gabe thinks his stint with the Isles was a very good one and that Tavares doesn't any more to the franchise. Gabe's topic of choice leads to a conversation about the trend in major sports these days with big name players moving to different teams and franchises, when it used to be superstars played for one team for their whole career. To close out the hour, Gabe and Joe discuss if the NFL Combine measurables correlate to being a good NFL QB like hand size and IQ, with the news of Kyler Murray's measurements coming out and him grading above what was expected.
