Tonight on The Last Word: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi vows to not send the articles of impeachment to the Senate until she determines that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will hold a fair trial. Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe reacts to the congressional standoff after writing an op-ed earlier this week suggesting a delay in transmitting the articles. Also, Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono reacts to the likelihood of getting a fair impeachment trial in the Senate. Plus, Evangelical magazine “Christianity Today” publishes an editorial calling for Trump’s removal from office. Ruth Marcus and Jonathan Alter join to discuss the important editorial.
