Wisdom Point #11 - Your Personal Invitation to Soul Detox!
The Soul Detox event in 2023 was one of the biggest game-changing events of my entire life. I had realized that I was gaming my own therapist, navigating through life with logic but missing the soulful connection. I realized that I was self-aware, but I was not soul-aware. And more importantly, I knew that if I was really going to heal, something was going to have to shift. I needed a Soul Detox and let me tell you, it was nothing short of beautiful. But in 2023, I didn’t expect the overwhelming response and I hadn’t yet stepped into the confidence level I needed to set up a big event. I had 100 seats available for 400 people who tried to sign up and in that moment, I knew Soul Detox was something we all needed. So, for 2024, consider this our personal, exclusive invitation to join me for Soul Detox 2024. The True Cost of Clutter: How It Impacts Your Life and Finances
Hey there, Purpose Chasers! Welcome back to another episode of the Redefining Wealth podcast, where today we're kicking off our new month with a new theme and a new pillar: the SPACE Pillar. And let’s be honest, this is a pillar that many people are notorious for neglecting. Let’s get started by talking about clutter. Yes, that's right – clutter in all its forms and the staggering (and surprising) costs it incurs on our lives. Now, before we unpack the chaos, let's define what clutter really is. It's anything that's taking up space in your physical environment and the things that are cluttering up your mental space, too. And trust me, it's more than just a nuisance – it's a silent thief robbing you of your time, energy, and peace of mind. Clutter isn't just about having too much stuff lying around. It's a reflection of the chaos within us. And it's costing us dearly. From heightened stress levels to diminished productivity, clutter is a sneaky culprit behind it all.So in today’s episode, you’ll learn the hidden costs of clutter and how it's impacting every aspect of your life. From wasted time to missed opportunities, clutter is holding us back in ways we may not even realize. So, join me as we embark on a clutter-busting new month all about the SPACE Pillar. It's time to reclaim our space and our sanity so we can truly thrive.Show Notes:[1:49] - Your physical environment matters.[3:38] - Detoxing my space is an important part of my healing.[5:05] - Clutter is not just about physical space and too much stuff. It is also the physical manifestation of the chaos in your mind.[8:21] - Clutter produces more stress, overwhelm, and anxiety.[10:35] - Research has shown that clutter has a direct impact on cortisol levels, the stress hormone.[12:12] - There’s a time cost of clutter. Managing clutter takes so much of your valuable time.[13:55] - When you have more surfaces or space, you do not need to fill it with physical objects.[16:48] - Clutter can impede your daily activities because you’re always searching for things and moving through too much stuff.[19:27] - Clutter creates distractions and impairs your productivity.[20:39] - If you are working on a project, take a look around your physical space and see if that could be one of the reasons you are sabotaging your success.[23:24] - How are you storing your clutter? Storage units and organization systems for things that don’t matter to you are costing you money.[25:59] - Money spent on maintaining clutter also equates to missed opportunities.[28:59] - What are you holding on to that doesn’t serve you? It’s becoming clutter.[30:12] - Clutter is costing you whether you want to acknowledge it or not.Links and Resources:Redefining Wealth WebsiteThe Institute of Redefining WealthRedefining Wealth AppPatrice Washington on InstagramRedefining Wealth LIVESoul DetoxRedefine Wealth For Yourself QuizOur Sponsors:* Check out Armoire and use my code WEALTH for a great deal: http://www.armoire.styleAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

It’s a brand new month which brings us a brand new theme: Release to Receive. This month is all about exploring and revealing what no longer serves you and then releasing that with more grace and ease to make room for what you say you want.Today’s wisdom point is a refresher on letting things go. It’s not always easy, but as we move from season to season, there are things that we simply do not need anymore. Wisdom Point #9 - Could This Be Why You Don’t Trust Yourself?
You know, it's interesting how we're all obsessed with self-awareness, like it's the ultimate goal. But let's be real – it's not just about knowing stuff; it's about having the guts, courage, and boldness to do something about it.Think about it: until we tap into that soul awareness, we're kinda stuck in neutral. We second-guess ourselves, doubt our intuition, and end up going in circles. It's like gathering all this info but never going anywhere with it. Let’s revisit an episode called "Self Awareness is Not Soul Awareness," where we’re taking the step after gathering all the information: having the courage to honor your self awareness. Otherwise, it's useless.Show Notes:[1:58] - Self awareness comes from gathering information.[2:35] - Information without implementation is useless.[3:42] - A lot of us are taking action that is not necessarily in alignment with what we discover in our self awareness.[5:31] - We think that the gathering of information will lead to self actualization.[6:31] - We need a mix of self awareness and soul awareness.[7:42] - Grab a complimentary ticket to the Soul Detox Virtual Event.Links and Resources:Redefining Wealth WebsiteThe Institute of Redefining WealthRedefining Wealth AppPatrice Washington on InstagramSoul Detox Virtual EventSelf Awareness is Not Soul Awareness Full EpisodeOur Sponsors:* Check out Armoire and use my code WEALTH for a great deal: http://www.armoire.styleAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Self-Confidence if NOT Self-Worth with Jamie Kern Lima
Hey there Purpose Chasers! Today, we're diving deep into a conversation that's incredibly important for every high achiever out there: the distinction between self-confidence and self-worth. We've all met those go-getters who seem to ooze confidence from every pore (and maybe we’ve been that person, too…), but as we'll discover with our special guest Jamie Kern Lima, confidence doesn't always translate to feeling worthy on the inside. Now, if you haven't heard of Jamie, you're in for a treat. She's not your average entrepreneur. We're talking about the mastermind behind IT Cosmetics, the trailblazer who became L’Oreal's first female CEO, and now, you can also find her on Forbes' Richest Self-Made Women List. And now Jamie's latest book, "Worthy," hits shelves this week, and it's a game-changer.In our chat, Jamie's pulling back the curtain on why self-confidence isn't the whole story. We're getting real about how self-worth shapes every aspect of our lives, from the decisions we make to the relationships we keep. So, whether you're on top of the world or feeling a bit lost, this episode is for you. Jamie's got some eye-opening insights about why embracing your worthiness is the key to unlocking a life filled with love, success, and genuine wealth and fulfillment.Show Notes:[2:51] - I am worthy of love just as I am.[6:00] - In life, we don’t get what we want, we get what we think we are worthy of. Our self-worth is our ceiling.[9:05] - Sometimes we make decisions based on our self-worth without even knowing it.[13:07] - Self-confidence is based on the external. It fluctuates. It is how we assess our own skills and abilities.[15:03] - It is important to be ambitious and have self-confidence, but you won’t enjoy any of this journey without self-worth.[18:01] - Low self-worth shows up in three primary ways in your life.[23:20] - Realizing a self-worth problem is a catalyst.[27:02] - Valuing and building your self-worth is actually breaking generational cycles.[29:30] - Ambition linked to authenticity is beautiful. But ambition linked to achievement will lead to burnout.[32:31] - Even your relationships will be stronger when you know you are worthy.[35:32] - We cannot exceed our level of self-worth.[37:35] - We will continue to attract the amount of love from others that matches the love we have for ourselves.[40:26] - Self-worth is the one thing that will transform your life.[43:21] - Jamie is donating 100% of the proceeds of her book Worthy.[47:18] - When we don’t believe we are worthy, we will self-sabotage.Links and Resources:Redefining Wealth WebsiteThe Institute of Redefining WealthRedefining Wealth AppPatrice Washington on InstagramRedefining Wealth LIVERyka.com use code Patrice15 for 15% OFFWorthy by Jamie Kern LimaOur Sponsors:* Check out Armoire and use my code WEALTH for a great deal: http://www.armoire.styleAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Wisdom Point #8 - Compromising Peace to Be Liked? Listen NOW!
Welcome back to another Wisdom Point, where we are continuing our focus on how to stop people-pleasing! Today's episode is all about those tricky moments when we realize we might be spreading ourselves too thin to please others. You know those commitments you've made that you're not entirely sure about anymore? Yeah, I’m talking about those. And maybe these commitments served you in a different season. But maybe now… they aren’t. Reflecting on an episode from back in 2018 called "I'm Not Above Backing Out," we're revisiting the lessons learned about prioritizing our peace over people-pleasing.Sometimes, we just need a little reminder. So let this clip from “I’m Not Above Backing Out” serve as the reminder that you can say no to others in order to say yes to yourself.Show Notes:[2:06] - In order to focus on the 80%, we have to let go of the 20% that sucks up your time.[3:08] - What works for you in one season, might not work in the next season.[4:10] - I’m not above backing out. I’m not above removing myself from things.[5:39] - I will stop compromising my time, my money, and my peace to be liked.[6:12] - Sometimes we have to say no to others in order to say yes to ourselves.[8:45] - I am true to my word, but my words need to be in alignment.[10:34] - You can reflect back on the things you’ve backed out of or said no to.Links and Resources:Redefining Wealth WebsiteThe Institute of Redefining WealthRedefining Wealth AppPatrice Washington on InstagramI’m Not Above Backing Out Full EpisodeOur Sponsors:* Check out Armoire and use my code WEALTH for a great deal: http://www.armoire.styleAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
