During a relaxing sail Sandy the sailboat notices the changing winds. To keep her crew safe from the storm, she heads back to the harbor. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 9:31 Narrator: Male Changing Winds Excerpt: Sandy motored away from the harbor to a spot where she could put up her sails. The colorful stretches of fabric filled up with wind until they were stretched tight. Sandy could feel the wind moving her through the water and took a deep dragon breath, in and out (deep breath) relaxing in the peace of the morning. The wind carried the sailboat out and Sandy enjoyed gliding across the water. Sandy looked around. She loved to gaze at the deep turquoise blue water. Then the sailboat noticed the sky looked different. On one side, the sky was growing dark. On her other side it was very bright. Sandy knew immediately what was happening. A storm was on its way. Rumina the rainbow is looking for a way to bring a color surprise to the world below the clouds. Will she find an opening? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories “Sky Dragon” and “All Smiles” this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Color Surprise!” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:56 Narrator: Female Color Surprise Excerpt: Rumina looked and looked and looked.  The clouds were squished tightly together.  She just couldn’t find a spot to peek through, with the sunlight.  The clouds rolled on, forming peaks and valleys.  Rumina got an idea.  Maybe if she climbed to the top of a tall cloud, she could find an opening below.  So she looked around for a tall cloud, and she found it.  It was enormous, a mountain of fluff, towering over the others.  Surely, the little rainbow could see everything from there. So Rumina climbed up, up, and up the magnificent cloud.  She was working hard and needed a break, so the little rainbow stopped on a flat portion halfway up and took a deep dragon breath in and out (deep breath).  Rumina thought about smiling people and animals, and glowing plants!  She could do this.  Rumina would find a way to bring some cheerfulness and hope to the land below the cloud cover. Finally, the little rainbow reached the top, and peered across the puffy landscape.  She noticed on the other side of the mountainous cloud, there was a large opening!  Sunshine was streaming through it, lighting up the earth.  That was the spot to bring some color to the world! Today’s Meditation: Today, enjoy the feeling of your body relaxing into the warm sand on a sunny beach. The ocean is filled with music. Two rockin' sharks, Shayla and Santiago, search out the source of the beats and, when they find it, dance. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:55 Narrator: Female Rockin’ Sharks Excerpt: “Do you hear that?” Shayla asked Santiago. “Yes. I’ve never heard anything like it. What do you think it is?” Santiago shark asked. “I don’t know.” Then a grin crept across her face and she said, “I think I like it. Do you want to see if we can find it?” The other shark smiled back and said, “That sounds like fun. Let’s go!” Shayla and Santiago circled around each other trying to discover to the source of the mysterious sound. After a couple of circles, both sharks knew the direction of the sound. So, they exchanged knowing smiles and swam in that direction. As they approached the source of the sound, it changed. Now the sharks could hear music, faintly at first. The music grew stronger and louder. Up ahead the sharks spotted a dark shape at the surface of the water. Today’s Meditation: Draw gentle shapes in the soothing sand as you prepare for today's story. After a little nap Dragon discovers a simple smile can brighten up anyone's day. Before long all of Ahway Island is smiling. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:44 Narrator: Female All Smiles Excerpt: Dragon wondered whether smiling at others always worked that way and decided to try the theory out. Dragon landed on the forest floor. Carrie Cardinal rested in a nearby bush. The bright red bird looked over at Dragon just in time to see Dragon smile at her. Carrie grinned in response. Encouraged by the second smile Dragon began to walk further down the path to share a smile with another animal. Before long Dragon found Odin the owl. Though the owl was sleeping, at the sound of rustling leaves Odin opened his eyes. Dragon smiled at the drowsy owl. Odin returned the grin and drifted back to sleep. Now Dragon felt certain that the birds would respond with a smile. Next Dragon would see if other animals would respond the same way. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:22 Narrator: Male Sky Dragon Excerpt: Above the trees Dragon admired the beautiful island and noticed something new down below. The construction crew had been busy, Dragon could tell. There was a bridge leading to another island. Dragon thought about exploring it, but before Dragon could head that direction a gentle rhythm filled the air. Dragon smiled, familiar with that beat, and turned to see Harmony helicopter. She was flying along with Hawk the red airplane. The two flew together with a similar grace and accuracy as Gerry and Carrie. Dragon waved hello and headed towards the aircraft. James pretended he hadn’t heard her and asked, “What is your favorite part of the parade?” Julia stopped mentioning earplugs, and responded. “I love seeing all the people waving from the colorful floats.  What’s you’re favorite part?” James smiled and said. “I love all the different vehicles.  Do you think there will be fire trucks?” “I’m sure there will be some.”  Julia said.  She decided to pack some extra earplugs just in case her brother became really uncomfortable. They finished their breakfast and walked with their parents to the parade route.  As their mom and dad set up their folding chairs in the shade, James found a spot on the curb in front of them. He waved for Julia to join him. “This is a good spot!” she said grinning ear to ear. Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently. Allie gets ready for treasure hunt with her friends by hiding pirate clues around the park to lead them to the buried treasure. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:01 Narrator: Female Buried Treasure Excerpt: As soon as they got to the park Allie looked around, to see if anyone was already there. She wanted to be sure no one saw where she buried the treasure and set the clues. The swings were empty. No one was on the slide or the monkey bars. Even the ball fields were quiet. There wasn’t a sign of Andy, Helen or Owen. Allie smiled mischievously. First, she would bury the pirate treasure chest. Allie skipped to the sand box and using the sand scooper she dug a hole big enough to fit the chest. Allie set the chest into the open pit and then removed five golden rocks. She gently moved the sand back to cover the top of the closed chest. Soon the sandbox looked as if the sands had never been moved.  Allie gently placed one of her golden rocks in the sand above the chest. Halle the hummingbird is feeling hungry. She goes searching for sweets among the plants. The little hummingbird sees something red. Will she find a treat? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week, “Best Balance” and “Polite Parrot!” Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Welcome to Favorite Friday! Please enjoy “Searching for Sweets” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 10:06 Narrator: Female Searching for Sweets Excerpt: Halle began her search for flowers.  She especially enjoyed the nectar of red flowers and hoped she would be able to find some.  The little hummingbird hovered in the air, and looked around.  She saw lush green grass, and deep green ivy winding around and climbing the trees.  There were lots of green plants, but she didn’t see any red flowers.  Halle zipped on, zigging and zagging, until she found a garden. The little hummingbird hovered as she took in the view.  The plants were lined up in neat little rows.  Halle noticed that the garden had cucumber plants, with little cucumbers resting on the ground, busy growing.  There were broccoli plants.  Dark green leaves surrounded the round clusters of broccoli.  Leafy spinach filled its row, and orange carrots barely peaked out of the ground.  The vegetables were beautiful, but Halle needed some nectar to eat. Just then the little hummingbird spotted something red.  She zipped in closer, hoping it was a flower.   Halle hovered over the red, her wings moving so quickly they were just a blur.  It was a tomato.  Halle was disappointed.  The little hummingbird took a deep dragon breath in and out (deep breath) and decided to keeping looking for flowers. Knowing he needs help from the boats to find his treasure Pendelton practices being a polite parrot. Meanwhile, the boats practice talking like a pirate to talk with the parrot. Hello everyone!  Today we have a bonus episode! For a little fun on Talk like a Pirate Day we have a new story. We hope you enjoy “Polite Parrot!” Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:03 Narrator: Male Polite Parrot Excerpt: As the sailboat wondered where Zig-Zag had gone she spotted a bright red bird zig-zagging her way. She smiled and announced to the others in her best pirate voice. “Be ye ready? I spy a scurvy pirate bird on the wind.” Manny the motorboat followed her gaze to the red bird. Sure enough, there were blue and yellow feathers on the bird’s wings and a tell-tale patch of black feathers over one eye. Manny responded eagerly in his best pirate voice.  “Aye! Zig Zag be returning to seek out the lost pirate booty.” Sandy the sailboat had been teaching all the boats how to speak Pirate ever since Zig-Zag’s last arrival. She giggled as the pirate bird grew closer and asked, “Yarrrr me hearties. Is everyone shipshape and ready for an adventure?” “Shiver me Timbers.” Teagan the tugboat said. “Be Zig-Zag returning this day?” Almost in response the pirate parrot landed on Sandy’s bow and said, “Good morning, fine yacht. Would you be able to assist me in the search for my treasure?” The boats sat silently, surprised at how the pirate parrot’s manners had changed. Wakely Waverunner heads out to play in the swirling waters of the mouth of the harbor. Between the waves and the boats entering and leaving, Wakely does the wave jump boogie. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story, “Ronald’s Turn”, Monday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Welcome to Favorite Friday! Please enjoy “Wave Jump Boogie” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:04 Narrator: Male Wave Jump Boogie Excerpt: The trailer carried Wakely all the way to the lake, and backed down a steep ramp.  As he rolled down the ramp, water rose up, from covering the wheels of the trailer, to tickling Wakely’s belly.  The water splashed under and around him, and the little wave runner relaxed.  His rider released Wakely from the trailer, and he slowly drifted next to the dock.  He enjoyed floating.  Any worries the little wave runner may have had, drifted away with the waves. His rider tugged Wakely over and snugged him to the dock.  Now the little wave runner waited for his rider to park the truck and trailer.  He was very excited to play on the lake, and could hardly wait to get started.  All this waiting was difficult, so Wakely took a deep dragon breath in and out (deep breath) and then smiled.  The little wave runner realized that waiting gave him some time to just enjoy the sensation of floating.  Wakely rocked gently as the water rolled back and forth, back and forth underneath him.  The lake seemed pretty calm today. Wakely was just getting in to the rhythm of the water when his rider returned.  His motor rumbled and the little wave runner moved away from the dock.  Wakely wanted to zip right out into the lake, but he knew he needed to move slowly in the entrance to the harbor, and watch for other boats.  So, he took his time and carefully made his way out to the lake.  Once the little wave runner had made it out onto the lake, he turned up his engine and began zipping around in an open area. Ronald took a deep breath, in and out (deep breath) and concentrated on the fun he would have working with the team today. While Ronald talked himself back up, the contractor joined the construction vehicles. “Good morning, everyone. Today, as I’m sure you all know, we’ll be finishing up the bridge. Barry the Barge will meet us at the water again and is ready to carry you across. Connor, Barry will help you place the slabs that Dizzy poured last week. Ellie, Barry will carry you, Danny and Dory to add the asphalt. Ronald, you’ll finish up by smoothing the road out. Dizzy, we don’t have anything for you today. We’ll see you when we get back.” Then with a smile the Contractor said. “OK! Let’s get this done.” Today’s Meditation: Feel your muscles relax as you check in with your body from head to toe. As they weaved through the crowd, Lisa was bumped and jostled a little bit.  Sometimes, people said, “Oh, excuse me!” and sometimes they didn’t seem to know they had bumped into her. Dragon decided to travel a little further from the forest to find out what was happening. After all, things had been going pretty well and Dragon was feeling more confident. As Dragon began to walk over to Allie, Owen, and Andy a bright yellow bus drove up. The bus stopped right in front of them and held out a stop sign, so Dragon stopped. The air is filled with the song of buzzy bugs. Simon cicada wakes up from his nap, climbs out of his shell and searches for a friend. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story, “Dock Dog”, Monday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Welcome to Favorite Friday! Please enjoy “Buzzy Bugs” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:35 Narrator: Male Buzzy Bugs Excerpt: Light streamed onto Simon’s face as he broke through the surface.  The little Cicada blinked, to get accustomed to the brightness.  As Simon pulled himself out of the earth, his body began to feel tight and tough.  He shook off the dirt, and looked around. He saw bright green grass, and a thick, sturdy tree trunk.  The little Cicada had emerged right next to a tree.  Simon decided to climb it, and see what else was around him. Slowly, Simon pulled himself up the trunk of the tree.  His body felt tighter and tighter.  Simon had grown a lot while resting in the dirt!  He needed to leave his armor behind.  So the little Cicada anchored himself on the trunk, and began to squeeze out of his shell. Simon blinked again, as his fresh eyes saw the details of the flaky bark on the trunk.  The little cicada was curious to see how much he had changed, as he relaxed in the earth.  Simon looked at his body.  He had delicate wings on his back, and was now a bright green instead of the brownish color he had been before.  Next to him, his armor was hanging on to the trunk of the tree.  It was a little weird to see the mold of his old body, just hanging there.  He fluttered his wings a bit to dry them off, and then stretched them.  As soon as his wings were dry, Simon left the trunk to find a nice branch to rest on and watch the world. Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating on a cloud, and relax into the feeling of lightness. Looking for a podcast to help settle your child in for nap time or bed?  You'll find them on Ahway Island. Today Sandy the sailboat has a curious sail. There are some triangular objects out on the sea. Listen to find out what Sandy has discovered. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story, “Purchase Power”, Monday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Welcome to Favorite Friday! Please enjoy “A Curious Sail” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:10 Narrator: Female A Curious Sail Excerpt: Soon she was out on the lake, and the skipper quickly pulled one sail up, then another.  Colors fluttered in the breeze as her sails were secured.  Sunshine lit Sandy’s sails, showing off their brilliance.  One sail was bright white with a sea green stripe lining the edges, and the other sail had alternating stripes of blue and sea green.  Sandy loved having that sail up.  As the skipper raised each sail, the wind filled it, and gently pushed Sandy along the surface of the water. Up ahead, Sandy could see something, but didn’t know what it was.  There were little triangles, floating on the water.  Sandy hoped the captain would steer her towards them.  She was keeping her eye on the objects, when she felt herself turn. The captain was steering her in a different direction.  Sandy was disappointed.  She had hoped to find out what the objects were.  As the sailboat turned, the breeze whispered away. Sandy’s sails fluttered, and she coasted slowly.  The captain turned her rudder, back and forth, until the breeze filled her colorful sails again.  The breeze gently pushed Sandy forward and the little sailboat smiled.  She was headed back towards the triangular objects!  Now she could see colors in the distance. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple floated on the water ahead of her. Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently. As he watched the people, the Oak noticed they had stopped just below his lowest branch.  It was a good strong branch that stretched straight out.  Then the dad left as the mom gazed at the branch smiling.  Opie wondered what was going on. Then he saw the dad return with a ladder.  He carried it right up to Opie and set it up just under the branch.  Then the mom handed the dad the end of the rope.  The dad took it and tied it around Opie’s branch with a big sturdy knot.   The Oak felt a funny feeling on his branch.  The rope tickled him.  He began to giggle a little.  Then his leaves began to rustle. Before he knew it, there was another rope tied to his branch.  The same funny sensation traveled to that spot. “What’s going on Opie?” Pete the Pine asked.  Opie began to laugh so hard he couldn’t answer. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:39 Narrator: Male Rolling Raccoons Story Excerpt: Stars twinkled against the crisp midnight blue background of the night sky.  The moon was full and bright, lighting the way for Rebel and Riley Raccoon as they wandered through the yards of the peaceful little neighborhood.  It was time to look for a snack, and the little raccoons thought they had spotted a snack source.  Up ahead, the moonlight shined on two cylinders standing next to each other at the top of a hill. Garbage cans! Rebel and Riley were excited. People always threw out the best stuff. “I hope there’s Pizza boxes. Sometimes there’s a whole pizza slice.” Rebel said licking his lips. Riley said, “Mmmmm, I hope there’s chocolate ice cream containers. There’s always some ice cream left.” Both raccoons rubbed their bellies and scurried up to the top of the hill eager to see what was inside the cans tonight.   As they reached the top of the hill, bright lights came around the corner and the little raccoons ducked under a bush.  If the people spotted them, they might move the garbage cans before the raccoons had a chance to look inside.  Soon the only light left was the light from the moon, and Rebel and Riley left the shelter of the bush to explore the garbage cans. Do you think the kids will play with us again?” “Of course!” Alyssa encouraged. “They just need to see you.” Uli added. “They’ll be excited to see you again. It will be like you’re a brand new toy! Sometimes, the kids forget to put us where we belong, and that’s how we get lost.” The kind doll shared their plan. “Blocks we just need to get you back into the block container. Cars, same thing, if you’re with the other cars the kids will play with you.” The unicorn continued, “Books, you belong on the bookshelf. Puzzle pieces, we have to get you back to the puzzle before the kids discover you’re missing. They might stop playing with the puzzle if we don’t. It's Raj to the rescue! He helps his parents work in the garden and gives the thirsty plants a drink as the hot summer sun shines down. Please enjoy “Raj to the Rescue: Perky Plants” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:20 Narrator: Male Raj to the Rescue: Perky Plants Story Excerpt: Then Raj looked at the plants in the garden.  They were drooping over, and their leaves were wrinkled and squished looking.  Raj knew the plants were wilting in the sun.  “Mom, dad… Can I give the plants a drink?  I think they’re thirsty too.”  Raj asked his parents. “Of course,” his mom said.  “You guessed our next step in the garden.” She had finished the last of the planting while Raj and his dad got their cups and pitcher.  “Come with me.”  Raj followed his mom.  She led him to the side of the house.  There was a watering can and a faucet.  Raj’s mom turned on the faucet and filled the watering can.  Raj picked it up. The can was a little heavy, and the water sloshed around inside it.  Raj slowly and carefully carried the can over to the garden.  He wanted to be sure the water stayed in the can until he was ready to pour it out. Raj got to the garden and tipped the watering can just a little so that the water could gently sprinkle on the plants.  Soft rain trickled from out of the can and onto the broccoli plants.  The earth drank the water right up and changed from a light brown into a deep dark brown.  Raj moved forward slowly making sure each broccoli plant had enough to drink. He tilted the can further and further until the last drop dripped out. Today’s Meditation: Today, enjoy the feeling of your body relaxing into the warm sand on a sunny beach. The spring sun warms the world. Fish bask in the warm rays of the sun, little fish, big fish, and biggest, all relaxing in the waters of wonder. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story, “Friendly Fish”, Monday and "Love Is.." on Wednesday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again, so now we have "Favorite Friday." Please enjoy “Waters of Wonder” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:49 Narrator: Female Waters of Wonder Story Excerpt: The little fish opened her eyes and noticed that now many small fish had joined her.  They had all found their way to the warm sunshine.  Falala smiled, and watched as one by one they relaxed, fins softly hanging in the water.  Falala realized the sunbeam had grown.  It was almost as if the sun was slowly extending the hug to every creature in the lake.  Falala noticed some bigger fish had arrived in the light.  At first, Falala thought she should tell the other small fish so they all could leave.  The little fish watched as the bigger fish relaxed into the sun’s energy, and it didn’t take long for her to realize the bigger fish were just basking in the sun as well. It's bedtime and Mia has a question for her mom. She wonders what love is, and how she can share her love with others. Find out what she learns. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:06 Narrator: Female Love Is Story Excerpt: “Then Mia asked, “How do you know if someone loves you? I know we say I love you. Are there other ways to know?” Mia’s mom smiled and said, “If you watch and listen, you can see lots of ways.” Mia sat up and asked, “How?” Her mom responded, “People and animals show they care in lots of ways. Kids might invite you to play. A puppy or kitty might wait for you to walk in the door after school. You might see a cat feeding and snuggling with a little duckling along with all her kittens.” Mia looked puzzled and asked, “A cat would take care of a different animal?” Mia’s mom nodded. “Yes, that’s part of what makes it love. Doing something for someone, especially when you don’t have to, or when caring for them may even be difficult.” Meditation Description: Feel your body fill with warmth and love as you send your loving energy to the world. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:53 Narrator: Male Friendly Fish Story Excerpt: “How are you Tanya?” Connor asked as the turtle slowly settled into the calm current. “I’m doing well, Connor.” Tanya replied. “I do need a little refreshing.” “You’re in the right place for that.” Connor replied and got busy cleaning. As he zipped around her shell, picking off dull old fragments, he asked. “Where have you been traveling?” The sea turtle responded “I’ve pretty much been going where the currents take me. I’ve seen kelp forests, and reefs filled with corals of all shapes and colors. And I’ve met a lot of friendly fish.” Connor smiled as he imagined the kelp and the coral on Tanya’s journey. The little kitty wondered if the glittering light could talk.  He meowed, and then waited to see what would happen.  The twinkling light was quiet.  Maybe it hadn’t heard him. Ian looked at him and said, “The clocks seem to be stuck, it’s not even 10: 30.  Two is so far away.”  He flopped onto the couch. “How are you feeling?” Ian’s dad asked him in a soothing voice.  He could tell Ian was starting to get overwhelmed, and needed some help. “I’m frustrated that I have to wait so long.” Ian said. “I can understand that.  Do you know what you can do to feel better?” his dad asked.  Ian was already starting to calm down. “I can take some deep dragon breaths.”  Ian said, and breathed in and out (deep breath). “How do you feel now?” Ian’s dad asked. “Better,” Ian replied, “I think I’d better take 2 more deep dragon breaths. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 9:01 Narrator: Male Let’s Play Story Excerpt: Dory grinned at Danny. “Do you want to race to see who can move the rocks faster?” “Great idea!” Danny said. He was up for a challenge. Both dump trucks were sure that they would win the race. Ellie smiled and said. “Alright then, go line up by the gravel pile. I’ll count down, so you know when to start.” “OK!” Danny and Dory said together, and they rolled over to the pile, ready for Ellie to start filling their beds. Why don’t you two take some deep dragon breaths while load you up. “That’s a great idea.” Dory said. The dump trucks took a deep breath, in and out (deep breath). Ellie rumbled up to the pile of gravel and scooped up the little rocks. Danny and Dory took another deep dragon breath, in and out (deep breath). Ellie positioned her scoop over Dory’s bed. Rocks flowed into her bed rolling like thunder. The two dump trucks took one more, deep dragon breath, in and out (deep breath). Ellie rolled over to Danny. Charlie gets stuck playing in the woods.  Terry the truck comes by and helps him out. Soon the two trucks are muddy mates. Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:11 Narrator: Male Muddy Mates Story Excerpt: Charlie was happily rumbling down the road, headed towards a park where he could play.  As the driver turned his wheel, Charlie realized he was there!  He looked around and saw hills to roll over, puddles to splash in, and rocks to climb.  This was going to be a challenging and fun day.  Charlie’s driver steered him into the park, and they began climbing hills and splashing in puddles.  The hills grew steeper and the puddles deeper.  Charlie had his winch so he knew he was safe.   The little truck rumbled happily as he steered down the next hill.  Then, Charlie felt his tires slipping.  The mud on this hill was slick.  Charlie tried his hardest to stay on the path, but the mud slip-slided him into a deep puddle right next to a tree. Charlie took a deep breath, in and out, and his driver got out, as he thought about what to do.  His tires were completely covered by the muddy water. Charlie took another breath in and out.  There was a tree in front of him, so the little truck was going to have to back up. Then one more deep breath in and out. Charlie was stuck. Helen and Brianna go outside to play. They find a fuzzy friend in the backyard. What will they learn from the fuzzy wuzzy caterpillar? Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 9:01 Narrator: Female A Fuzzy Friend Story Excerpt: Brianna looked out the window.  The sun was shining brightly.  “It’s really nice outside. Why don’t we play in the yard?” she said. “Great!” Helen said, and both girls headed out the back door to play.  They started on the swing set.  Talking and laughing, the girls rocked the swings back and forth, higher and higher.  Soon Helen and Brianna were nearly as high as they could go, so the girls began to slow down. The swings moved back and forth, lower and lower until they were almost still.  Brianna and Helen hopped off the swings.  “Let’s go exploring!” Helen said. Brianna grinned and nodded her head in agreement. The two girls headed towards the back of the yard where there was some taller grass and more trees.  “There’s usually something back here.”  Helen said.  “I’ve found butterflies, toads, and snakes.” “Cool!” Brianna said. “I wonder what we’ll find today?” Today’s Meditation: Today, notice loving energy flowing through your body, from your feet up to your head. Hazen Hawk is soaring in the sky and watching what is happening below.  What will he see on the ground below before his nap? Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:47 Narrator: Male Dragon’s New Toy Story Excerpt: Hazen stretched out his wings and flapped them strongly downward, lifting him off the branch.  The little hawk was off to see what he could see.  He flew up as high as he could.  White fluff gently surrounded him, and then the little hawk was through the clouds.  Above, Hazen could see and feel the bright warm sun.  He looked around at the brilliantly blue sky, and then turned his gaze downward.  Hazen saw the blanket of clouds stretch across the sky, though now there were some open spots where he could see the tiniest patch of earth.  He wondered if the Great Oak was in that sliver of sunlight.  Now warmed by the sun, Hazen decided he would fly a little lower so that he could see what was happening on the ground. This time they stayed tight! Anora moved on to her other shoe. She reminded herself that she knew how to tie her shoes. Anora took the laces in her hands and now both shoes were tied. Today’s Story (EP57): A Happy Helper: a kid’s bedtime, nap time story with relaxation Rogelio is a happy helper. When he notices his dad struggling with the housework he jumps up to help.  Together they have fun cleaning up the house! Today’s Meditation: We will guide you in a progressive relaxation from your head to your toes. Here's an excerpt from this week's bedtime story: Rogelio sat on the couch and sighed. He felt bored. Rogelio had asked his friends, Scott and Cathy, if they wanted to play today, but they were busy. Rogelio looked at the stack of books next to the bookcase. He had read them already. He felt like there was nothing to do. Rogelio sighed again, and slouched into the couch. His dad walked, quickly, through the family room, arms full of clothes. As he walked, he dropped a blue sock, and a red t-shirt. Then a pair of pants started to drop out of the pile. Rogelio’s dad stepped on it, pulling the pants the rest of the way out. He stumbled, and as he caught his balance, Rogelio’s dad dropped the rest of the clothes. Rogelio, eyes wide with surprise, looked at his dad. His dad sighed, and began to pick up the clothes. Rogelio thought, “I think dad could use some help.” got off the couch, and began picking clothes up off the floor. Today’s Story (EP301): Time Travels: an original short story for kids Clever kids turn Chance the Cardboard box into a time machine and visit some dinosaurs.  Will their time travels bring them back in time for lunch? Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating on a cloud, and relax into the feeling of lightness. Here's an excerpt from this children's story: A sunbeam slipped through the living room curtains warming the kitten in the cardboard box. The little kitty purred and rolled onto his back. Chance the cardboard box enjoyed the peaceful, serene moment. The sound of giggling drifted down the hall. Chance smiled, knowing that it was about time for another adventure. The little kitty perked up his ears and listened. He wasn’t going to give up his spot in the sun unless he had to. Sure enough, the kids skipped down the hall. As they saw Chance they asked, “Ready for today’s adventure?” That was enough for the fluffy kitten. It was time to find another spot to nap.
