We’re talking about different parenting styles… and don’t worry I’m not going to overwhelm you with unsolicited advice on how you should lead your family. You probably get more than you need of that.
I’m just going to give you an overview of the different philosophies and why you should care about knowing little bit about them.
It’s important to learn little bit about these parenting styles, because if we don’t, we usually refer to the style we were brought up with, or the complete opposite of it, if we have bad memories from our own childhood. And child psychology has evolved quite a bit last 2-3 decades.
