I had always prided myself on my independence, providing for my family, and most of all not depending on anyone else but myself.
I was working hard for success, power, fame, tropical getaways, even for my abs that I don’t have any more thanks to the stubborn sympathy weight. I did all of this to feel good about myself.
But now, I just want to be with my family.
