Being a nurturing dad and a “real man” had many differences in my mind before becoming a dad and in early fatherhood. This caused some conflict in me, since I wanted to be involved dad.

Millennials were supposed to change the parenting status quo and make engaged fatherhood seem totally unexceptional. Even, if we are the most engaged, involved generation of fathers in history (which we probably are), the everyday grind of fatherhood is far from easy.
